Abstract

Se describe una semicélula electroquímica (1) que está constituida por al menos una membrana (4), un electrodo (3) que dado el caso desprende gas comoánodo o cátodo, dado el caso una salida (8, 16) para el gas y una estructura soporte (12) que une elelectrodo que dado el caso desprende gas con la paredtrasera (15) de la semicélula, en la que la estructura soporte (12) divide el espacio interior (13) de la semicélula (1) en canales (5, 9) dispuestosperpendicularmente, circulando el electrolito (14) en los canales de electrodos (9) dirigidos hacia el electrodo (3) hacia arriba y en los canales (5) opuestosal electrodo (3) fluye hacia abajo y estando los canales de electrodos (9) y los canales (5) opuestos al electrodo (3) unidos entre sí ensu extremo superior yen su extremo inferior.
