Abstract
Un aparato para limitar la amplitud de una senal de transmision, siendo del tipo para reducir el rango de dicha senal de transmision que comprende unapluralidad de senales complejas de comunicacion digitalmente representadas, que incluyen mediospara la estimacion de la magnitud de cada una de la pluralidadde senales complejas de comunicacion basado sobre las componentes complejas, medios par determinar por lo menos un factor de escala basado sobre la pluralidadde amplitudes determinadas ymedio s para reducir la amplitud de las respectivas componentes de senal compleja. El sistema está ajustado para operar afrecuencias muy elevadas y puede ser ventajosamente provisto por un circuito que determine cada una de las senales complejasutilizando el algoritmo CORDIC. Elsistema puede además ser provisto con medios para gradacion de la magnitud de cada una de las componentes complejas en un paso de gradacion gruesa y un paso degradacion fina. El sistema permite reducir en formaefectiva la amp litud de la senal de transmision eliminando la necesidad de amplificadores más grandes y máscostosos. La invencion también propone a un método para limitar la amplitud de una senal que emplea dicho aparato.
