Abstract
La presente provee un aparato y métodos para el cálculo de posicion con alta precision, bajo tiempo de adquisicion y bajo consumo de energía. El aparato decálculo de posicion incluye un receptor de radiocomunicacion el cual monitorea una red de radiocomunicacion, tal como una red celular, que cubre la regiongeográfica en la cual el aparato de cálculo de posicion está ubicado. El aparato demodula la senal de la red de radiocomunicacion y obtiene datos deposicionamiento del canal de radioemision de la red para ser usado en las operaciones de adquisicion de satélites antes del cálculo de una posicion. El aparatoademás incluye un receptor para recibir los mensajes de posicionamiento emitidos por una constelacion de satélites de GPS. Un circuitode cálculo de posicionen el aparato utiliza los datos de posicionamiento obtenidos de la red de radiocomunicacion en la adquisicion inicial de uno o más satélites deposicionamiento. Una vez que el numero deseado de satélites de posicionamiento ha sido adquirido, los mensajes de posicionamiento son recibidos desde lossatélites de posicionamiento y son usados para calcular la posicion del aparato de cálculo de posicion.
