Abstract
Una colada de acero al cromo que contiene suficiente titanio y nitrogeno con una cantidad controlada de aluminio es fundida para formar un lingotecontínuamente fundido en una tira o plancha qu tiene una estructura de granos finos equiaxiales de fundicion bruta sustancialmente libre de granos columnares.El acero bruto de fusion contiene 0,08% C, por lo menos 8% de Cr, hasta 1,50% de Mn, <0,03% de Al, menor o igual que 1,05% de Si <2,0%, Ntodos estos porcentajes en peso consistiendo en resto en Fey elementos residuales. De preferencia, Ti > o = a 0,10% y es controlado de manera que larelacion de (Ti x N)/Al > o = 0,14 y (Ti/48)/[(C/12) + (N/14)] > 1,5. Se puede formar una plancha procesada en caliente a partir de una plancha decolada continua sin amolar las superficies de la plancha. La chapa procesada en caliente puede ser desincrustada, reducida en frío a un espesor final ytemplada por recristalizacion. El temple de la chapa procesada en caliente antes de la reduccion en frío no es necesario para obtener una chapa templadaesencialmente libre de estrías y con gran capacidad de conformado.
