Abstract

"AçO DE LIGA DE CROMO FERRìTICO SEM FORMAçãO DE ARESTAS". Trata-se de um aço inoxidável sem formação de arestas ferrítico e do processo para o mesmo. Uma fornada de metal de aço de liga de cromo que contém titânio e nitrogênio suficientes, porém uma proporção controlada de alumínio, é fundida como um lingote ou fundida continuamente como uma tira ou uma chapa que tem uma estrutura de grão equiaxial tal como fundido substancialmente isenta de grãos colunares. O aço tal como fundido contém 0,08% de C, pelo menos 8% de Cr, até 1,5-% de Mn, <sym>0,030% de Al, <243> 0,05% de N, <243> 1,5% de Si, <sym> 2,0% de Ni, todas as percentagens em peso, sendo que o restante consiste em Fe e elementos residuais. De preferência, Ti <243> 0,10% e é controlado de tal maneira que a razão de (Ti x N) /Al <242> 0,14 e (Ti/48)/[ (C/12) + (N/14) ] <sym> 1,5. Uma folha processada a quente pode ser formada a partir de uma chapa continuamente fundida sem que as superfícies da chapa sejam esmerilhadas. A folha processada a quente pode ser decapada, reduzida a frio até uma espessura final e recozida por recristalização. A recozimento da folha processada a quente antes da redução a frio é necessária para se obter uma folha recozida essencialmente isenta de formação de arestas e que tem alta formabilidade.
