Abstract
Comprende poner en contacto un éster de aminofosfonato con una base, en presencia de un facilitador de hidrolisis seleccionado del grupo que constade CO2, CS2 y COS. En una realizacion del éster de aminofosfonato se prepara en primer lugar poniendo en contacto una amina, trialquilfosfito, base yformaldehido. Formula (I), donde n es 1 hasta aproximadamente 3 y R es hidrogeno, un grupo alquilo C1-6, un grupo arilo C6-12, sal de carboxilato oéster, o hidroxietilo. Los ácidos aminofosfonicos y derivados son utiles para controlar una gran variedad de malas hierbas y cultivos. Se aplica al follajede un muy amplio espectro de hierbas perennes o anuales y plantas de hojas anchas para lograr el control deseado.
