Abstract

Un procedimiento contínuo para obtener polímeros de propileno en presencia de un sistema catalítico del tipo de Ziegler-Natta que contiene un solidocatalítico que comprende átomos de cloro, magnesio y titanio y por lo menos un compuesto donador deelectrones, denominado donador interno, un cocatalizadorque es un compuesto orgánico de aluminio y opcionalmente un compuesto donador de electrones, denominado donador externo, que comprende las siguientes etapassucesivas: (a) polimerizacion de propileno en el seno de propileno líquido para formar por cada g de titanio en el solido catalítico, de 11.000 a 28.000 g deun prepolímero escogido entre los homopolímeros de propileno, y (b) polimerizacion de propileno en fase gaseosa en uno o más sucesivos reactores delecho fluidizado y en presencia del prepolímero (a), de propileno, opcionalmente en presencia de uno o más monomero(s) distinto(s) escogido(s)entre las alfa -olefinas que contienen 2 a 12 átomos de carbono,para producir un polímero final de propileno cuya fraccion de partículas con un diámetromenor que 125 micrones (FP) es a lo sumo de 10% en peso. Un procedimiento para la iniciacion de un proceso contínuo para obtener polímeros de propileno, quecomprende una etapa de polimerizacion de propileno en el seno de propileno líquido y una etapa de polimerizacion en fase gaseosa en uno o más sucesivosreactores de lecho fluidizado y en presencia del polímero obtenido de la primera etapa, enel que el o los reactor(es) de polimerizacion en fase gaseosano contiene(n) partículas de polímero en suspension.
