Abstract
Un circuito de retardo electronico (10) para uso en un detonador (100) tiene un circuito conmutador (20) y un circuito contador (22). El circuitoconmutador (20) controla el flujo de una carga almacenada de energía eléctrica de un capacitadorde almacenamiento (12) a un elemento iniciador de puente, porejemplo, un puente de semiconductor (18) o un puente de tungsteno. El cronometraje de la liberacion de esta energía se controla con el circuitocontador (22). El circuitoconmutador (20) consiste en un circuito CMOS bipolar integrado dieléctricamente aislado (DI BiCMOS), en tanto que el circuitocontador (22) es un circuito CMOS convencional. El uso de un circuito conmutador DI BiCMOS permite una mayoreficiencia en la transferencia deenergía desde el capacitador de almacenamiento (12) al puente de semiconductor (18) que la lograda con anterioridad.
