Abstract

Se describe un proceso para hacer resinas de tinta gelificada con alta viscosidad y reducida degradacion elástica las cuales exhiben propiedadesmejoradas en aplicaciones con alta velocidad de impresion. En una configuracionpreferi da, una resina basada en trementina o en hidrocarburos esmezclada con un solvente orgánico y reacciona con un agente de union cruzada bajo condiciones suficientes para producir una resina gelificada unida deforma cruzada, substancialmentecovalent emente. La resina gelificada resultante tiene viscosidad más estable comparada a resinas convencinales comose ve en la curva E de la Fig.2, resiste a rupturas de la viscosidad bajo condiciones de corte altas como se ve enla curva F de la Fig. 2 y puede serusada directamente para hacer formulaciones, vehículos o barnices de tinta, obviando la necesidad de gelificacion adicional y evitando el uso de agentesgelificantes organo-metálicos convencionales.
