Abstract
El flujo multifase en una canería u otra línea de flujo es monitoreado usando una combinación de detectores de tipo de flujo. Un conjunto dedetectores monitorea las interfases entre los diversos fluidos y el otro monitorea la presenciade diferentes fases de fluido alrededor de laperiferia de la línea de flujo. Los régimenes volumétricos relativos de flujo de fluido pueden ser medidos detectando cambios en las interfases delos fluidos entre dos conjuntos de anillossensores q ue emplean sensores espaciados alrededor de la línea de flujo, siendo el tipo de flujo de fluidodetectado a través de la línea de flujo con un detector de capacitancia anular. Los anillos sensores usan típicamentetransductores ultrasó nicospara detectar las interfases de los fluidos mientras que el detector de capacitancia indica la presencia (o ausencia) de diferentes fases alrededorde la periferia de la línea de flujo. Combinando las senales desalida de los difere ntes detectores, puede obtenerse una indicaciónn de los fenómenosde flujo en la línea de flujo. El régimen de flujo en la línea puede ser medido usando un concéntrico de termopilas equidistantes alrededor de lalíneade flujo en conjunción con el detector de capacitancia anular.
