Abstract

Un emisor óptico de modulación externa analógica que comprende un modulador electro-óptico y un circuito de pilotaje. El circuito de pilotaje comprende uncircuito generador de tono piloto: una senal eléctrica de control generada por la senal ópticaproveniente del modulador y una tensión de polarizaciónpredeterminada son alimentadas en la entrada de un amplificador diferencial cuya salida es sumada al tono piloto para alimentar una entrada eléctricadel modulador electro-óptico. La entradad e RF de la senal eléctrica analógica es conectada a un circuito linealizador al cual está conectado también elcircuito generador de tono piloto. La salida del circuito linealizador es enviada a una entrada eléctrica del moduladorelectro-óptic o a través de unfiltro supresor de banda adaptado para eliminar el tono piloto corriente abajo del circuito linealizador.
