Abstract
La invención provee un método para detectar un polimorfismo genético en un individuo, y comprende los siguientes pasos: a. la obtención de una muestra conácido nucleico del individuo; b. la amplificación de la muestra de ácido nucleico delpa so a. mediante un proceso que comprende termociclado y primers;esta amplificación tiene lugar en presencia de una endonucleasa de restricción termoestable que mantiene su actividad durante el termociclado; los primers sonseleccionados de talmanera que se introducen en el ácido nucleico amplificado de ácido nucleico que no presenta el polimorfismo, o de ácido nucleico quepresenta el polimorfismo, una secuencia reconocida por la endonucleasa de restricción termoestable; y c. elanálisis d el producto del paso b. paradeterminar la presencia o ausencia del polimorfismo.
