Abstract
Un método y aparato para hacer fluir un fluído sobre la superficie de plano inclinado a través de todo el ancho de la ranura posee un número capilar deranura menor de 0,04. La separación S de salida de la ranura es seleccionada para ser menor de 6,25µ2Nre/po en donde S es la separación de la ranura en cm,es la viscosidad del fluído medida en poise, p es la densidad del líquido medida en g/cm3, o es la tensión superficial del líquido medida en dina/cm, yNre es el número de Reynolds definido por Nre=4 M/µ, en donde M es el caudal de líquido por unidad de ancho medido en g/seg-cm. La expresión para a sedefine como 0,981+0,4306 log Nre0,3406. El fluído es hecho fluir a través de un salida de ranura.
