Abstract

Un componente femoral (200) con una varilla implantanda estabilizadora femoral que tiene superficies condilares (203) de diferentes radios(R2, R3, R4)que coinciden con un sostén termoplástico (400). Una plataforma tibial coincidente (506) está estabilizada en la tibia con una varilla, el sostén(400) traslada a la plataforma (506) en las direcciones posterior-anterior como respuesta a la flexión y extensión de la rodilla. El sostén (400) soporta lacarga de la extensión completa en las regiones de contacto articulante congruentes con las superficies condilares y las cargas de flexión menores pormedio de un contacto articulante incongruente. Un montaje de articulación (300) se clava en el componente condilar (208) por medio de una cabeza (311) quetiene un eje dependiente fijo (313) en un sostén en disminución termoplástico (340) axialmente flotando y rotativamente móvil en una cavidad (503)coincidente del componente de plataforma de tibia. La cabeza (311) pasa através del sostén (400) y detiene las traslaciones de soporte en las posicionesposterior y anterior extremas. En una segunda configuración, una proyección (511) sobre el componente de la tibia coincide con una hendidura en el sosténpara controlar y limitar la cantidad de rotación axial del componente femoral (200) con respecto al componente tibial (500) como una función de la extensiónde la flexión en una articulación de rodilla.
