Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure reproducing of correct colors while avoiding color saturation and lowering of contrast at a normal time, by flowing a bias current only for the color where it is forecasted that the index signal cannot be detected stably. CONSTITUTION:The signal inputted from input terminal 5 is adjusted to the blue reproducing phase by phase shifter 7 and is input to phase detector 8. Meanwhile, the signal input from chrominance signal input terminal 6 is input to phase detector 8 also, and both inputs are subjected to phase detection. The output signal of phase detector 8 is applied to low-pass filter 9 and signal processing circuit 10, and an output signal is generated if blue components are included in the color signal. This output signal is synthesized with the output signal of color signal processing circuit 12 by adding circuit 11 and is applied to the cathode of index tube 13.
