CONSTITUTION:The phase of chroma signal fed to the terminal 13 is discriminated at the discriminator 17, and the control signal of a phase adjusting circuit 18 is obtained with a conversion circuit 19 from one or three chroma information output signals, and the phase is adjusted with the phase adjusting circuit 18 so that it is equal in the amplitude as the phase shift of the index signal fed to the terminal 11 and in opposite phase. Thus, the signal driving the index tube is normal phase signal, allowing to reproduce the picture of normal hue on the index tube.
