Abstract

PURPOSE:To switch high frequency video signals with simple configuration by reproducing a reproduced high frequency video signal when a detecting signal is outputted from a detecting circuit to a switching circuit and reproducing a received high frequency video signal in case of no detecting output. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency video signal received by a receiving antenna 5 is selected by a tuner at its required channel and the selected channel is applied to a terminal (a) of a switching circuit 10. On the other hand, a prescribed reproduced high frequency video signal free from channels inputted from a recording medium reproducing device to a terminal 6 is applied to a no- channel signal receiving circuit 8 and the converted IF signal is sent to a terminal (b) of the circuit 10 and a signal detecting circuit 9. The circuit 9 detects the sent no-channel IF signal and controls the terminals (b) and (c) by its detecting signal so as to connect these terminals. When a detecting signal is not outputted from the circuit 9, the circuit 10 connects the terminals (a) and (c). When a reproduced high frequency video signal is not taken out from the recording medium reproducing device, the switching circuit is changed over to reproduce a TV video signal.
