Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the dispersion in the darkness of skin color, by providing the reference chrominance signal generator inputting the luminance signal, making the saturation and hue into skin color, and reducing the change in the red and yellow color having higher saturation.
CONSTITUTION: The chrominance signal transmission system of the color TV receiver is provided with the reference color signal generator 10 providing the chrominance signal generator 12 and the modulator 11, subtractor 13 inputting the output of the carrier chrominance signal and the output of the generator 12, and the controller 15 providing the amplitude detector 14, variable gain amplifier 16, and adder 17. The reference chrominance signal having the reference amplitude and phase is produced with the generator 10 with this constitution, and the difference signal of reference chrominance signal is outputted from the carrier chrominance signal and the generator 12 with the attenuator 13. The detection signal corresponding to the amplitude of this difference signal is outputted from the detector 14, tne difference signal between the output of the detector 14 and the subtractor 13 is fed to the amplifier 16 in the controller 15, the level of the detection signal of the detector 14 controls the amplification factor to the difference signal, the output of the amplifier 16 and the carrier chrominance signal are added in the adder 17, and the output of the adder 17 is inputted to the demodulator 7.
