Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate effectively the precipitation of Mo, Zr, Te from radioactive materials by heating and adjusting pH of nitric acid solution containing Mo, Zr, Te.
CONSTITUTION: Formic acid is added into nitric acid solution containing Mo, Zr, Te for decomposing nitric acid or acid, alkali are added allowing pH of nitric acid solution to adjust to have pH 0.5±0.2. Mo, Zr, Te are precipitated by heating nitric acid solution thereof. The precipitation is separated from mother liquid by filtration and centrifugal separator or the like.
