Abstract
A reinforcing member for a ribbed poured concrete ceiling with at least one displacement member (6), consisting especially of foamed material, fitted between the basic and the distribution reinforcement, adjacent to hollow spaces (7, 7') to form the stiffening ribs and secured immovably between the reinforcements by the web wires joining the basic and distribution reinforcements with selectable spacing to form a solid unit, in which there are additional bent-up bars (8; 8) in the spaces between the ribs and each displacement member forms part of an independent grid member (1) with a basic reinforcement section (3) and a distribution reinforcement (4) and in which the grid member is fitted on a basic reinforcement (2) which, together with the basic reinforcement section of the grid member and parts of the bent-up bars, is embedded in a poured concrete slab unit (12), and in which there is a concrete upper beam (13) of selectable length, width and height in the centre on the distribution reinforcement of the grid member or at least one of several grid members.
