Abstract

Pronalazak resava problem snizavanja sadrzaja D-glukoze u krvi sisara preko originalnog postupka upotrebe zucnih kiselina i njihovih derivata kao hipoglikemika. Poznato je da zucne kiseline i neki njihovi derivati omogucuju prolazak insulina kroz nosnu slozokozu u krvotok, pri cemu dolazi do snizenja sadrzaja glukoze u krvi (hipoglikemija). Medjtuim, nije poznato da same zucne kiseline i njihovi derivati snizavaju sadrzaj glukoze u krvi to jest da deluju kao hipoglikemici. U do sada raspolozivoj literaturi nije zabelezeno da intranazalno ili na drugi nacin primenjene zucne kiseline snizavaju koncentraciju glukoze u krvi (Medline, Database on CD, Silverplatter 1983-1996). Ovaj efekat zucnih kiselina i njihovih derivata kao sredstava koja snizavaju koncentraciju glukoze u krvi je znacajan zbog moguce primene ovih sredstava kao antidijabetika i hipoglikemika. Sustina pronalaska se sastoji u tome da prilikom, na primer, nazalne aplikacije rastvora soli zucnih kiselina kao i njihovih derivata a takodje i rastvora koji sadrzi smesu insulina i soli derivata zucnih kiselina dolazi do snizenja sadrzaja D-glukoze u krvi. U nasem radu, za svrhu snizavanja nivoa D-glukoze u krvi sintetizovani su razni derivati prirodnih zucnih kiselina.
