Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an antiallergic eye drop containing beta-stimulant having specific low concentration, having suppressing action for anaphylaxis reaction, free from side effect such as lowering of intraocular pressure and useful in remedy for allergic conjunctivitis, etc. CONSTITUTION:beta-Stimulant having <1% concentration such as salbutamol, terbutaline or metaprotenol is contained in the aimed eye drop. Side effect can be also reduced, since the beta-stimulant is effective in low concentration. Additives (e.g. isotinicity such as NaCl or D-mannitol and buffering agent such as sodium phosphate) ordinarily used in the eye drop are as necessary used for the preparation. pH of the eye drop is in the range permissible to eye preparation, preferably 4.5-8.
