Abstract
본 발명의 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지 약 20 내지 약 60 중량%, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지 약 10 내지 약 40 중량% 및 유리 섬유 약 10 내지 약 50 중량%를 포함하는 기초 소재 약 100 중량부; 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 약 10 내지 약 30 중량부; 및 탈크 약 0.1 내지 약 4 중량부;를 포함하며, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 상기 탈크의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.01 내지 약 1 : 0.3인 것을 특징으로 한다. 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등이 우수하다.
Description
본 발명은 폴리아미드 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 제조된 성형품에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로 본 발명은 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등이 우수한 폴리아미드 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 제조된 성형품에 관한 것이다.
폴리아미드 수지는 가공성, 내충격성, 기계적 물성 등이 우수하여, 각종 전기 전자 제품의 하우징, 자동차 내외장재 등으로 유용하다. 또한, 박막화 및 경량화의 추세에 따라, 폴리아미드 수지를 유리 섬유와 같은 무기 보강제 등과 혼합하여, 강성, 내열성 등의 물성을 더욱 높여 전기 전자 제품의 내외장재 등에 적용하고 있다.
최근 수요가 증가하고 있는 웨어러블 장치 소재의 경우, 내충격성 등의 기계적 물성 외에도 우수한 외관 특성 등이 요구된다. 결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 내충격성 구현에 한계가 있으며, 사출성도 다른 장쇄(long chain) 폴리아미드 수지에 비해 떨어진다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 결정성 폴리아미드 수지에 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지를 도입하여 내충격성 및 사출성 등을 향상시키는 방안이 연구되어 왔다. 그러나, 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지 적용 시, 고외관 특성을 구현하기 어렵다는 단점이 있다.
따라서, 내충격성, 유동성(사출성), 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등이 우수한 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 개발이 필요한 실정이다.
본 발명의 배경기술은 대한민국 공개특허 10-2017-0024201호 등에 개시되어 있다.
본 발명의 목적은 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등이 우수한 폴리아미드 수지 조성물을 제공하기 위한 것이다.
본 발명의 다른 목적은 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물로부터 형성된 성형품을 제공하기 위한 것이다.
본 발명의 상기 및 기타의 목적들은 하기 설명되는 본 발명에 의하여 모두 달성될 수 있다.
1. 본 발명의 하나의 관점은 폴리아미드 수지 조성물에 관한 것이다. 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지 약 20 내지 약 60 중량%, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지 약 10 내지 약 40 중량% 및 유리 섬유 약 10 내지 약 50 중량%를 포함하는 기초 소재 약 100 중량부; 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 약 10 내지 약 30 중량부; 및 탈크 약 0.1 내지 약 4 중량부;를 포함하며, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 상기 탈크의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.01 내지 약 1 : 0.3이다.
2. 상기 1 구체예에서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 MACM10, 폴리아미드 MACM12, 폴리아미드 MACM14, 폴리아미드 PACM10, 폴리아미드 PACM12 및 폴리아미드 PACM14 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
3. 상기 1 또는 2 구체예에서, 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6, 폴리아미드 6/6, 폴리아미드 6/12, 폴리아미드 11, 폴리아미드 12 및 폴리아미드 10/12 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
4. 상기 1 내지 3 구체예에서, 상기 유리 섬유는 단면 직경이 약 5 내지 약 20 ㎛인 원형 단면의 유리 섬유일 수 있다.
5. 상기 1 내지 4 구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체는 말레산 무수물 변성 올레핀계 엘라스토머 및 말레산 무수물 변성 스티렌계 엘라스토머 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
6. 상기 1 내지 5 구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 올레핀계 엘라스토머는 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-프로필렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-1-부텐 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-1-옥텐 공중합체 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
7. 상기 1 내지 6 구체예에서, 상기 스티렌계 및 말레산 무수물 변성 스티렌계 엘라스토머는 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-에틸렌/부틸렌-스티렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-에틸렌-부틸렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-부타디엔-스티렌 공중합체, 스티렌-에틸렌/부타디엔-스티렌 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
8. 상기 1 내지 7 구체예에서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지 및 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.1 내지 약 1 : 2일 수 있다.
9. 상기 1 내지 8 구체예에서, 상기 유리 섬유 및 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.1 내지 약 1 : 1일 수 있다.
10. 상기 1 내지 9 구체예에서, 상기 유리 섬유 및 상기 탈크의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.01 내지 약 1 : 0.2일 수 있다.
11. 상기 1 내지 10 구체예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 ASTM D256에 의거하여 측정한 두께 1/8" 시편의 노치 아이조드 충격강도가 약 10 내지 약 30 kgf·cm/cm일 수 있다.
12. 상기 1 내지 11 구체예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 듀폰 드롭(DuPont drop) 측정법에 의거하여, 두께 1 mm의 사출 성형 시편에 1 kg 또는 500 g 추를 1 m 높이에서 10회 떨어트릴 경우, 크랙이 발생하지 않는 것일 수 있다.
13. 상기 1 내지 12 구체예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 ASTM D1238에 의거하여, 250℃, 5 kgf 조건에서 측정한 용융흐름지수(Melt-flow Index: MI)가 약 10 내지 약 35 g/10분일 수 있다.
14. 상기 1 내지 13 구체예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 광택계를 사용하여, 반사각 75°에서 측정한 사출 성형 시편의 광택도가 약 89 내지 약 95 GU일 수 있다.
15. 본 발명의 다른 관점은 성형품에 관한 것이다. 상기 성형품은 상기 1 내지 14 중 어느 하나에 따른 폴리아미드 수지 조성물로부터 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명은 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등이 우수한 폴리아미드 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 형성된 성형품을 제공하는 발명의 효과를 갖는다.
이하, 본 발명을 상세히 설명하면, 다음과 같다.
본 발명에 따른 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 (A) 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지; (B) 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지; (C) 유리 섬유; (D) 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체; 및 (E) 탈크;를 포함한다.
본 명세서에서, 수치범위를 나타내는 "a 내지 b"는 "≥a 이고 ≤b"으로 정의한다.
(A) 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지
본 발명의 일 구체예에 따른 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 유리 섬유, 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 탈크 등과 함께 적용되어, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로서, 통상의 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지를 사용할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 환형 지방족 디아민으로부터 유도되는 반복단위 및 지방족 디카르복실산으로부터 유도되는 반복단위를 포함하는 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지 등을 포함할 수 있다.
본 명세서에 있어서, 디카르복실산 등의 용어는 디카르복실산, 이의 알킬 에스테르(모노메틸, 모노에틸, 디메틸, 디에틸 또는 디부틸 에스테르 등 탄소수 1 내지 4의 저급 알킬 에스테르), 이들의 산무수물(acid anhydride) 등을 포함하는 의미로 사용되며, 디아민과 반응하여, 디카르복실산으로부터 유도되는 반복단위(디카르복실산 부분(dicarboxylic acid moiety))을 형성한다. 또한, 본 명세서에 있어서, 디카르복실산 부분(dicarboxylic acid moiety) 및 디아민으로부터 유도되는 반복단위(디아민 부분(diamine moiety)) 디카르복실산 및 디아민이 중합 반응될 때, 수소 원자(아민기로부터 제거), 히드록시기 또는 알콕시기(카르복실산기로부터 제거)가 제거되고 남은 잔기(residue)를 의미한다.
구체예에서, 상기 환형 지방족 디아민으로는 탄소수 6 내지 30의 환형 지방족 디아민을 사용할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 비스(p-아미노-3-메틸-사이클로헥실)메탄(bis(p-amino-3-methyl-cyclohexyl)methane, MACM), 4,4'-디아미노디시클로헥실메탄(4,4-diaminodicyclohexylmethane, PACM) 등을 사용할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 지방족 디카르복실산으로는 탄소수 10 내지 14의 선형 지방족 디카르복실산을 사용할 수 있다. 예를 들면 도데칸디온산, 데카논산, 테트라데카논산 등을 사용할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 MACM10, 폴리아미드 MACM12, 폴리아미드 MACM14, 폴리아미드 PACM10, 폴리아미드 PACM12 및 폴리아미드 PACM14 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 통상의 폴리아미드 제조방법에 따라 제조될 수 있으며, 예를 들면, 상기 지방족 디카르복실산 및 상기 환형 지방족 디아민을 포함하는 단량체 혼합물을 중합하여 제조할 수 있다. 여기서, 상기 중합은 통상의 중합 방법에 따라 수행될 수 있으며, 예를 들면, 용융 중합 방법 등을 사용하여 수행할 수 있고, 중합 온도는 약 80 내지 약 300℃, 예를 들면 약 90 내지 약 280℃일 수 있으며, 중합 압력은 약 10 내지 약 40 kgf/cm2일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되지 않는다.
구체예에서, 상기 환형 지방족 디아민으로부터 유도되는 반복단위와 상기 지방족 디카르복실산으로부터 유도되는 반복단위의 몰비(디아민/디카르복실산)은 약 0.95 내지 약 1.15, 예를 들면, 약 1 내지 약 1.1일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 성형에 적합한 중합도의 고분자 제조가 가능하며, 미반응 단량체에 의한 물성 저하를 방지할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 98% 황산용액에 0.5 g/dl의 농도로 녹인 후, 25℃에서 우베로드(Ubbelodhde) 점도계로 측정한 고유점도[η]가 약 0.5 내지 약 2.5 dL/g, 예를 들면 약 0.5 내지 약 2 dL/g일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 유동성(성형성), 내충격성, 내화학성 등이 우수할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지 및 유리 섬유를 포함하는 기초 소재 전체 100 중량% 중, 약 20 내지 약 60 중량%, 예를 들면 약 35 내지 약 60 중량%로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지의 함량이 상기 기초 소재 100 중량% 중, 약 20 중량% 미만일 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성 등이 저하될 수 있고, 약 60 중량%를 초과할 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 저하될 우려가 있다.
(B) 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지
본 발명의 일 구체예에 따른 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 유리 섬유, 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 탈크 등과 함께 적용되어, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로서, 통상의 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지를 사용할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 지방족 폴리아미드 수지 등을 포함할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6, 폴리아미드 6/6, 폴리아미드 6/12, 폴리아미드 11, 폴리아미드 12 및 폴리아미드 10/12 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 ASTM D2857에 따라 측정한 고유점도[η]가 약 2.2 내지 약 3.0 dl/g, 예를 들면, 약 2.45 내지 약 2.55 dl/g일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 성형성(유동성), 사출품 외관 등이 우수할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 상기 기초 소재 전체 100 중량% 중, 약 10 내지 약 40 중량%, 예를 들면 약 10 내지 약 35 중량%로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지의 함량이 상기 기초 소재 100 중량% 중, 약 10 중량% 미만일 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 저하될 수 있고, 약 40 중량%를 초과할 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성 등이 저하될 우려가 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지 및 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.1 내지 약 1 : 2, 예를 들면 약 1 : 0.15 내지 약 1 : 1.5일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 더 우수할 수 있다.
(C) 유리 섬유
본 발명의 일 구체예에 따른 유리 섬유는 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 탈크 등과 함께 적용되어, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로서, 통상의 열가소성 수지 조성물에 사용되는 유리 섬유를 사용할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 유리 섬유는 섬유 형태일 수 있고, 원형(타원형 포함), 직사각형 등의 다양한 형상의 단면을 가질 수 있다. 예를 들면, 원형 단면의 섬유형 유리 섬유를 사용하는 것이 기계적 물성 측면에서 바람직할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 원형 단면의 유리 섬유는 SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope)을 이용하여 측정한 단면 직경이 약 5 내지 약 20 ㎛, 가공 전 길이가 약 2 내지 약 20 mm일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 강성, 성형성, 외관 특성 등이 향상될 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 유리 섬유는 통상의 표면 처리제로 처리된 것일 수 있다. 상기 표면 처리제로는 실란계 화합물, 우레탄계 화합물, 에폭시계 화합물 등을 사용할 수 있으나, 이에 제한되지 않는다.
구체예에서, 상기 유리 섬유는 상기 기초 소재 전체 100 중량% 중, 약 10 내지 약 50 중량%, 예를 들면 약 25 내지 약 35 중량%로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 유리 섬유의 함량이 상기 기초 소재 100 중량% 중, 약 10 중량% 미만일 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성 등이 저하될 수 있고, 약 50 중량%를 초과할 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 저하될 우려가 있다.
(D) 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체
본 발명의 일 구체예에 따른 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체는 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 유리 섬유 및 탈크 등과 함께 적용되어, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로서, 통상의 열가소성 수지 조성물에 사용되는 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체를 사용할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체는 말레산 무수물 변성 올레핀계 엘라스토머 및 말레산 무수물 변성 스티렌계 엘라스토머 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체는 올레핀계 고무질 중합체에 말레산 무수물(MAH, maleic anhydride)을 그라프트 중합시킨 것일 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 올레핀계 엘라스토머는 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-프로필렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-1-부텐 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-1-옥텐 공중합체, 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 스티렌계 엘라스토머는 스티렌계 고무질 중합체에 말레산 무수물(MAH, maleic anhydride)을 그라프트 중합시킨 것일 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 스티렌계 엘라스토머 및 말레산 무수물 변성 스티렌계 엘라스토머는 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-에틸렌/부틸렌-스티렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-에틸렌-부틸렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-부타디엔-스티렌 공중합체, 및 스티렌-에틸렌/부틸렌-스티렌 중 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체는 말레산 무수물의 함량이 전체 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 100 중량% 중, 약 0.1 내지 약 3 중량%, 예를 들면 약 0.3 내지 약 1.5 중량%일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 우수할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체는 ASTM D1238에 의거하여, 190℃, 2.16 kgf 조건에서 측정한 용융흐름지수가 약 0.01 내지 약 40 g/10분, 예를 들면 약 0.1 내지 약 10 g/10분일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성 등이 우수할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체는 상기 기초 소재 약 100 중량부에 대하여, 약 10 내지 약 30 중량부, 예를 들면 12 내지 20 중량부로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체의 함량이 상기 기초 소재 약 100 중량부에 대하여, 약 10 중량부 미만일 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성 등이 저하될 우려가 있고, 약 30 중량부를 초과할 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 저하될 우려가 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 유리 섬유 및 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.1 내지 약 1 : 1, 예를 들면 약 1 : 0.3 내지 약 1 : 0.7일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 더 우수할 수 있다.
(E) 탈크
본 발명의 일 구체예에 따른 탈크는 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지, 유리 섬유 및 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 등과 함께 적용되어, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 유동성, 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로서, 통상의 열가소성 수지 조성물에 사용되는 탈크를 사용할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 탈크는 판상형 무기 충진제이며, 입도 측정 장치(Malvern mastersizer 3000)로 측정한 평균 입자 크기가 0.5 내지 10 ㎛, 예를 들면 1 내지 7 ㎛일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 외관 특성 등이 우수할 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 탈크는 상기 기초 소재 약 100 중량부에 대하여, 약 0.1 내지 약 4 중량부, 예를 들면 약 0.5 내지 약 3 중량부로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 탈크의 함량이 상기 기초 소재 약 100 중량부에 대하여, 0.1 중량부 미만일 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 유동성 등이 저하될 우려가 있고, 4 중량부를 초과할 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 외관 특성 등이 저하될 우려가 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 상기 탈크의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.01 내지 약 1 : 0.3, 예를 들면 약 1 : 0.03 내지 약 1 : 0.2일 수 있다. 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 상기 탈크의 중량비가 약 1 : 0.01 미만일 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 유동성 등이 저하될 우려가 있고, 약 1 : 0.3을 초과할 경우, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 내충격성, 외관 특성 등이 저하될 우려가 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 유리 섬유 및 상기 탈크의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.01 내지 약 1 : 0.2, 예를 들면 약 1 : 0.015 내지 약 1 : 0.15일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 폴리아미드 수지 조성물의 외관 특성, 유동성(사출 성형성) 등이 더 우수할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 구체예에 따른 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 통상의 폴리아미드 수지 조성물에 포함되는 첨가제를 더욱 포함할 수 있다. 상기 첨가제로는 난연제, 적하방지제, 산화방지제, 활제, 이형제, 핵제, 대전방지제, 안정제, 안료, 염료, 이들의 혼합물 등을 예시할 수 있으나, 이에 제한되지 않는다. 상기 첨가제 사용 시, 그 함량은 상기 기초 소재 약 100 중량부에 대하여, 약 0.001 내지 약 40 중량부, 예를 들면 약 0.1 내지 약 10 중량부일 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 구체예에 따른 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 상기 구성 성분을 혼합하고, 통상의 이축 압출기를 사용하여, 약 220 내지 약 300℃, 예를 들면 약 250 내지 약 280℃에서 용융 압출한 펠렛 형태일 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 ASTM D256에 의거하여 측정한 두께 1/8" 시편의 노치 아이조드 충격강도가 약 10 내지 약 30 kgf·cm/cm, 예를 들면 약 12 내지 약 20 kgf·cm/cm일 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 듀폰 드롭(DuPont drop) 측정법에 의거하여, 두께 1 mm의 사출 성형 시편에 1 kg 또는 500 g 추를 1 m 높이에서 10회 떨어트릴 경우, 크랙이 발생하지 않는 것일 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 ASTM D1238에 의거하여, 250℃, 5 kgf 조건에서 측정한 용융흐름지수(Melt-flow Index: MI)가 약 10 내지 약 35 g/10분, 예를 들면 약 15 내지 약 35 g/10분일 수 있다.
구체예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 광택계(제조사: BYK Instruments, 장치명: micro gloss)를 사용하여, 반사각 75°에서 측정한 사출 성형 시편의 광택도가 약 89 내지 약 95 GU, 예를 들면 약 89.5 내지 약 93 GU일 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 성형품은 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물로부터 형성된다. 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 펠렛 형태로 제조될 수 있으며, 제조된 펠렛은 사출성형, 압출성형, 진공성형, 캐스팅성형 등의 다양한 성형방법을 통해 다양한 성형품(제품)으로 제조될 수 있다. 이러한 성형방법은 본 발명이 속하는 분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의해 잘 알려져 있다. 상기 성형품은 내충격성, 유동성(사출성), 외관 특성, 이들의 물성 발란스 등이 우수하므로, 웨어러블 장치 외장재, 등으로 유용하다.
이하, 실시예를 통하여 본 발명을 보다 구체적으로 설명하고자 하나, 이러한 실시예들은 단지 설명의 목적을 위한 것으로, 본 발명을 제한하는 것으로 해석되어서는 안 된다.
실시예
이하, 실시예 및 비교예에서 사용된 각 성분의 사양은 다음과 같다.
(A) 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지
비스(p-아미노-3-메틸-사이클로헥실)메탄 및 도데칸디온산으로 형성된 폴리아미드 MACM12(제조사: Shandong-Dongchen 제품명: TM03)를 사용하였다.
(B) 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지
폴리아미드 6(PA6, 제조사: KP Chemtech, 제품명: EN 300)를 사용하였다.
(C) 유리 섬유
원형 단면의 유리 섬유(제조사: Nippon Electric Glass, 제품명: ECS 03 T-251H)를 사용하였다.
(D) 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체
말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-프로필렌 공중합체(MAH-g-EPR, 제조사: Mitsui Chemical, 제품명: Tafmer MH-7020)를 사용하였다.
(E) 탈크
탈크(제조사: LIAONING XINDA, 제품명: TALC POWDER(DS-9276))를 사용하였다.
실시예 1 내지 9 및 비교예 1 내지 10
상기 각 구성 성분을 하기 표 1, 2, 3 및 4에 기재된 바와 같은 함량으로 첨가한 후, 약 260℃에서 압출하여 펠렛을 제조하였다. 압출은 L/D=29, 직경 45 mm인 이축 압출기를 사용하였으며, 제조된 펠렛은 약 80℃에서 약 4시간 동안 건조 후, 6 oz 사출기(성형 온도: 약 270℃, 금형 온도: 약 60℃)에서 사출 성형하여 시편을 제조하였다. 제조된 시편에 대하여 하기의 방법으로 물성을 평가하고, 그 결과를 하기 표 1, 2, 3 및 4에 나타내었다.
물성 측정 방법
(1) 노치 아이조드 충격강도(단위: kgf·cm/cm): ASTM D256에 의거하여, 두께 1/8" 시편의 노치 아이조드 충격강도를 측정하였다.
(2) 내충격성 평가: 듀폰 드롭(DuPont drop) 측정법에 의거하여, 두께 1 mm의 사출 성형 시편에 1 kg 또는 500 g 추를 1 m 높이에서 10회 떨어트린 후, 크랙 발생 여부를 확인하였다.
(3) 용융흐름지수(단위: g/10분): ASTM D1238에 의거하여, 250℃, 5 kgf 조건에서 용융흐름지수(Melt-flow Index: MI)를 측정하였다.
(4) 광택도(단위: GU): 100 mm × 100 mm × 3.2 mm 크기의 사출성형 시편에 대하여, 광택계(제조사: BYK Instruments, 장치명: micro gloss)를 사용하여 반사각 75°에서 광택도를 측정하였다

상기 결과로부터, 본 발명의 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 재생 원료를 특정 함량 이상 적용하여 친환경적이고, 내충격성(노치 아이조드 충격강도, 크랙 발생 여부), 유동성(용융흐름지수) 및 외관 특성(광택도), 이들의 물성 발란스 등이 우수함을 알 수 있다.
반면, 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지를 소량 적용하고, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지를 과량 적용한 비교예 1의 경우, 내충격성, 유동성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있고, 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지를 과량 적용하고, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지를 소량 적용한 비교예 2의 경우, 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있다. 유리 섬유를 소량 적용한 비교예 3의 경우, 내충격성, 유동성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있고, 유리 섬유를 과량 적용한 비교예 4의 경우, 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있다. 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체를 소량 적용한 비교예 5의 경우, 내충격성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있고, 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체를 과량 적용한 비교예 6의 경우, 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있다. 탈크를 소량 적용한 비교예 7의 경우, 유동성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있고, 탈크를 과량 적용한 비교예 8의 경우, 내충격성, 외관 특성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있다.
또한, 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 탈크를 본 발명의 함량 범위로 적용하여도, 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 탈크의 중량비가 본 발명의 범위 미만인 비교예 9의 경우, 유동성, 외관 특성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있고, 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 탈크의 중량비가 본 발명의 범위를 초과하는 비교예 10의 경우, 내충격성 등이 저하되었음을 알 수 있다.
이제까지 본 발명에 대하여 실시예들을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자는 본 발명이 본 발명의 본질적인 특성에서 벗어나지 않는 범위에서 변형된 형태로 구현될 수 있음을 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로, 개시된 실시예들은 한정적인 관점이 아니라 설명적인 관점에서 고려되어야 한다. 본 발명의 범위는 전술한 설명이 아니라 특허청구범위에 나타나 있으며, 그와 동등한 범위 내에 있는 모든 차이점은 본 발명에 포함된 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.
Claims (15)
- 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지 약 20 내지 약 60 중량%, 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지 약 10 내지 약 40 중량% 및 유리 섬유 약 10 내지 약 50 중량%를 포함하는 기초 소재 약 100 중량부;말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 약 10 내지 약 30 중량부; 및탈크 약 0.1 내지 약 4 중량부;를 포함하며,상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체 및 상기 탈크의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.01 내지 약 1 : 0.3인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 MACM10, 폴리아미드 MACM12, 폴리아미드 MACM14, 폴리아미드 PACM10, 폴리아미드 PACM12 및 폴리아미드 PACM14 중 1종 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6, 폴리아미드 6/6, 폴리아미드 6/12, 폴리아미드 11, 폴리아미드 12 및 폴리아미드 10/12 중 1종 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 유리 섬유는 단면 직경이 약 5 내지 약 20 ㎛인 원형 단면의 유리 섬유인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체는 말레산 무수물 변성 올레핀계 엘라스토머 및 말레산 무수물 변성 스티렌계 엘라스토머 중 1종 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 올레핀계 엘라스토머는 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-프로필렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-1-부텐 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 에틸렌-1-옥텐 공중합체 중 1종 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 상기 스티렌계 및 말레산 무수물 변성 스티렌계 엘라스토머는 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-에틸렌/부틸렌-스티렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-에틸렌-부틸렌 공중합체, 말레산 무수물이 그라프트 중합된 스티렌-부타디엔-스티렌 공중합체, 스티렌-에틸렌/부타디엔-스티렌 중 1종 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 비결정성 폴리아미드 수지 및 상기 반결정성 폴리아미드 수지의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.1 내지 약 1 : 2인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 유리 섬유 및 상기 말레산 무수물 변성 고무질 중합체의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.1 내지 약 1 : 1인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 유리 섬유 및 상기 탈크의 중량비는 약 1 : 0.01 내지 약 1 : 0.2인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 ASTM D256에 의거하여 측정한 두께 1/8" 시편의 노치 아이조드 충격강도가 약 10 내지 약 30 kgf·cm/cm인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지 조성물은 듀폰 드롭(DuPont drop) 측정법에 의거하여, 두께 1 mm의 사출 성형 시편에 1 kg 또는 500 g 추를 1 m 높이에서 10회 떨어트릴 경우, 크랙이 발생하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리아미드 수지 조성물.

- 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 폴리아미드 수지 조성물로부터 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 성형품.
