Description

車両の制御装置、車両の制御方法、及びプログラム
 本発明は車両の制御装置、車両の制御方法、及びプログラムに関する。
 特許文献1には、専用の電動モータにより駆動される電動オイルポンプで潤滑や冷却のためのオイルを供給する電気自動車のパワートレインのユニットが開示されている。

 車両の状態は、走行準備ができているレディオンと、走行準備ができていないレディオフとの間で切り換えられる。レディオンは、エンジン車の場合はイグニッションオンとも呼ばれ、レディオン時には、例えば各種補機への電源が供給されて車両走行が可能な状態となる。
 一方、レディオフ時には、各種補器への電源が供給されなくなり、電動オイルポンプからのオイルの潤滑供給は行われなくなる。このため、レディオフ時には油膜切れ(油膜が不十分な状態)が発生し得る。
 しかしながら、車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になった場合に、電動オイルポンプを駆動させると、場合によっては、電動オイルポンプからのオイルの潤滑供給が過剰なものとなり、過剰な潤滑供給で費やされる消費電力によって、電動オイルポンプの運転効率が悪化し得る。
 本発明はこのような課題に鑑みてなされたもので、電動オイルポンプの運転効率を高めることを目的とする。
 本発明のある態様によれば、電動オイルポンプを有するユニットが搭載された車両の制御装置であって、前記車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になり、且つ前記レディオフ状態が所定時間継続している場合に、前記電動オイルポンプを駆動する制御部を有する車両の制御装置が提供される。
 上記態様によれば、レディオフ状態が短い場合には油膜が切れていないことが多く、オイルの潤滑供給を必要としない場合が多いことから、所定時間継続したレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になったときに電動オイルポンプを駆動する。これにより、レディオフ状態が所定時間継続していない場合は、電動オイルポンプを駆動せずに済むので、不要な消費電力を削減して電動オイルポンプの運転効率を高めることができる。また、電動オイルポンプの作動は車両の音振性能に影響するので、音振性能に影響が表れる頻度も低減できる。

 以下、添付図面を参照しながら本発明の実施形態について説明する。
 図1は、車両の要部を示す概略構成図である。ユニット1は車両に搭載され、駆動輪6に駆動力を付与する駆動源としてのモータ10と、モータ10からの回転を減速して出力する減速機構20と、モータ10から減速機構20を介して伝達された動力を左右の駆動輪6に分配するデファレンシャルギア30と、モータ10、減速機構20及びデファレンシャルギア30を収容するハウジング40と、ハウジング40に保持されたベアリング51から56とを備える。
 モータ10は回転電機であり、ロータ11と、ロータ11を収容するステータ12と、ロータ11と一体回転する回転軸13と、を備える。ステータ12は、モータ10の軸方向における両端部にコイルエンド12aを有し、回転軸13は、軸方向においてロータ11の両側に配置されたベアリング51,52により支持される。
 減速機構20は歯車機構であり、互いに平行になるように配置された第1ギア21、第2ギア22、第3ギア23、及び第4ギア24と、第2ギア22及び第3ギア23が設けられるシャフト25と、を備える。
 第1ギア21はモータ10の下流(動力出力側)に接続され、回転軸13と一体回転する。第2ギア22は、第1ギア21と噛み合い、第1ギア21とともに第1減速ギア段を構成する。第2ギア22はシャフト25と一体回転し、シャフト25は、両端部でベアリング53,54により支持される。
 第3ギア23は、第2ギア22の下流に接続され、シャフト25と一体回転する。第4ギア24は、第3ギア23と噛み合い、第3ギア23とともに第2減速ギア段を構成する。第4ギア24は、ファイナルギアであり、デファレンシャルギア30に設けられる。
 デファレンシャルギア30は差動歯車機構であり、第4ギア24と一体回転するデフケース31を有する。デフケース31は、ベアリング55,56により支持され、デフケース31に入力された動力を左右の駆動輪6に分配する差動部を収容する。
 ハウジング40は、ハウジング40内を区分する隔壁41を有する。ユニット1において、隔壁41よりモータ10側(図1中左側)の部分は、モータ10を収容するモータ部1aを構成し、隔壁41より減速機構20及びデファレンシャルギア30側(図1中右側)の部分は、減速機構20及びデファレンシャルギア30を収容するギアボックス部1bを構成する。
 図2は、ユニット1の潤滑冷却経路を示す図である。ユニット1は、駆動源としてのモータ10とは別の動力源である電動モータ2aと、電動モータ2aにより駆動されるオイルポンプ2bと、を有する電動オイルポンプ2と、バッテリからの直流電力を交流電力に変換して電動モータ2aに供給するインバータ3と、冷却媒体としての冷却水WとオイルOLとの間で熱交換を行う熱交換器4と、車両の制御装置としてのコントローラ5とをさらに備える。
 電動オイルポンプ2では、電動モータ2aが、インバータ3から電力供給を受けてオイルポンプ2bを駆動する。電動オイルポンプ2は、熱交換器4を通じてモータ部1aとギアボックス部1bとに接続し、ハウジング40のオイル貯留部42からストレーナ60を通じてオイルOLを吸引し、吸引したオイルOLをモータ部1aとギアボックス部1bとに供給する。
 モータ部1aでは、電動オイルポンプ2からのオイルOLが、ロータ11、コイルエンド12aをこの順に流通した後に、オイル貯留部42に戻る。ロータ11及びコイルエンド12aは、供給されたオイルOLにより冷却される。
 ギアボックス部1bでは、電動オイルポンプ2からのオイルOLが、ベアリング51から56を含むベアリング部BRGと、第1ギア21及び第2ギア22の噛合部E1と、第3ギア23及び第4ギア24の噛合部E2と、デファレンシャルギア30とに分配され、これらを潤滑、冷却した後に、オイル貯留部42に戻る。モータ部1aやギアボックス部1bの潤滑或いは冷却は、オイル貯留部42内のオイルOLの掻き上げ(第4ギア24等のギアによる掻き上げ)によっても行われる。
 熱交換器4には、電動オイルポンプ2からのオイルOLが導入されるとともに、ウォータポンプ70からの冷却水Wが導入され、熱交換器4に導入されたオイルOLは、冷却水Wと熱交換をした上で、モータ部1aとギアボックス部1bとに供給される。熱交換器4では、オイルOLの温度が冷却水Wの温度より高い場合に、オイルOLが冷却水Wにより冷却される。
 ウォータポンプ70からの冷却水Wは、モータ10用のインバータ80、ステータ12、熱交換器4をこの順に流通した後に、ウォータポンプ70に戻る。冷却水Wの循環経路は、バッテリ等をさらに含んでもよい。モータ10では、電動オイルポンプ2から供給されるオイルOLにより、ロータ11やコイルエンド12aが冷却されるとともに、電動オイルポンプ2とは別のポンプであるウォータポンプ70から供給される冷却水Wにより、ステータ12が冷却される。
 コントローラ5は、ROM又はRAMに格納されたプログラムをCPUによって実行することで制御を行う。プログラムとしては、例えばCD-ROM等の非一過性の記憶媒体に記憶されたものが用いられてもよい。コントローラ5は、中央演算装置(CPU)、読み出し専用メモリ(ROM)、ランダムアクセスメモリ(RAM)及び入出力インタフェース(I/Oインタフェース)を備えた1又は複数のコンピュータ(マイクロコンピュータ)で構成される。コントローラ5は、複数のコントローラにより構成されてもよい。
 車両の状態は、走行準備ができているレディオンと、走行準備ができていないレディオフとの間で切り換えられ、コントローラ5には、レディオン、レディオフをユーザが指示するための操作部であるスタータボタン91のほか、アクセル開度APOを検出するためのアクセル開度センサ92や、車速VSPを検出するための車速センサ93等からの信号が入力される。コントローラ5は、インバータ3を制御することで、電動オイルポンプ2の電動モータ2aを制御する。
 レディオンは、エンジン車の場合はイグニッションオンとも呼ばれ、レディオン時には、例えば各種補機への電源が供給されて車両走行が可能な状態となる。一方、レディオフ時には、各種補器への電源が供給されなくなり、電動オイルポンプ2からのオイルOLの潤滑供給は行われなくなる。このため、レディオフ時には油膜切れ(油膜が不十分な状態)が発生し得る。
 しかしながら、車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になった場合に電動オイルポンプ2を駆動させると、場合によっては、電動オイルポンプ2からのオイルOLの潤滑供給が過剰なものとなり、過剰な潤滑供給で費やされる消費電力によって、電動オイルポンプ2の運転効率が悪化し得る。
 図3は、運転効率の悪化についての説明図である。レディRDYは、ユーザがスタータボタン91を操作することにより、オン、オフされるフラグであり、レディオンが指示された場合はオンになり、レディオフが指示された場合はオフになる。以下では、電動オイルポンプ2を単に電動ポンプ2とも称す。
 この例では、減速中の車両がタイミングT1で停止し、車両の停止に応じて電動ポンプ2も停止する。レディRDYは、タイミングT1を経て、タイミングT2でオンからオフになり、さらにその後、短時間で再びオンになる(タイミングT3)。このように短時間しか継続していないレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になった場合、車両では油膜が切れていないことが多く、オイルOLの潤滑供給を必要としない場合が多い。
 しかしながらこの例では、タイミングT3でレディRDYがオンになると、オイルOLの潤滑供給のために電動ポンプ2を作動させるので、オイルOLの潤滑供給が過剰なものとなり、過剰な潤滑供給で費やされる消費電力によって、電動ポンプ2の運転効率が悪化する。
 このため、本実施形態ではコントローラ5が次に説明する制御を行う。
 図4、図5は、コントローラ5が行う制御の一例をフローチャートで示す図である。図4は、車両がレディオン状態である第1の場合を示し、図5は、車両がレディオフ状態である第2の場合を示す。コントローラ5は、これらのフローチャートの処理を実行することで、同処理を実行する制御部として機能する(つまり、同処理を実行する制御部を有する)。
 図4に示すように、車両がレディオン状態の場合は、ステップS1でレディRDYがオンからオフになったか否かが判定される。レディRDYがオンからオフになったか否かは、スタータボタン91からの信号に基づき判定できる。ステップS1で否定判定であれば、レディオン状態が継続するので、システムの作動が維持され、処理は一旦終了する。
 ステップS1で肯定判定の場合、処理はステップS2、さらにはステップS3に進む。ステップS2では、レディRDYがオンからオフになった際の現在時刻(つまり、レディオフが指示された際の現在時刻)が記憶(保存)され、ステップS3ではシステムが停止される。結果、車両がレディオフ状態になる。
 このように、コントローラ5は、車両がレディオン状態からレディオフ状態になる際には、現在時刻を記憶した上でシステムを停止して車両をレディオフ状態にする。ステップS3の後には、処理は一旦終了する。
 図5に示すように、車両がレディオフ状態の場合は、ステップS11でレディRDYがオフからオンになったか否かが判定される。ステップS11で否定判定であれば、レディオフ状態が継続するので、システムの停止が維持され、処理は一旦終了する。ステップS11で肯定判定であれば、処理はステップS12に進み、システムが作動される。これにより、車両がレディオン状態になり、電動ポンプ2に電源が供給される。
 ステップS13では、レディオフ状態になってからレディオン状態になるまでの経過時間(換言すれば、レディオフ状態の継続時間)が演算される。経過時間は、前述のステップS2で記憶された時刻(つまり、レディオフが指示された際の現在時刻)と、レディRDYがオフからオンになった際の現在時刻(つまり、レディオンが指示された際の現在時刻)とに基づき演算される。
 ステップS14では、ステップS13で演算された経過時間が所定時間αより長いか否かが判定される。所定時間αは、油膜が切れているか否かを判定するための判定値であり、予め設定される。
 ステップS14で肯定判定であれば、レディオフ状態が所定時間α継続しており、油膜が切れていると判断される。この場合、オイルOLの潤滑供給が必要なので、処理はステップS15に進み、電動ポンプ2が作動(駆動)される。これにより、油膜の状態に応じてギアボックス部1bを適切に潤滑することができる。
 ステップS14で否定判定であれば、油膜は切れていないと判断される。この場合、オイルOLの潤滑供給は不要なので、処理は一旦終了する。つまりこの場合は、レディオン状態になっても、電動ポンプ2は作動(駆動)されない。これにより、電動ポンプ2の不要な消費電力が削減され、電動ポンプ2の運転効率が高まる。また、電動ポンプ2の作動は、車両の音振性能に影響するので、音振性能に影響が表れる頻度も低減できる。
 車両では、ステップS13で演算される経過時間が、レディRDYがオフからオンになった際には所定時間αより短く(ステップS14の否定判定)、その後、所定時間αより長くなる(ステップS14の肯定判定)場合がある。つまり、車両では、所定時間αが経過する前にレディRDYがオンになり、レディオフ状態からレディオン状態になった後に、レディオフ状態の開始後から所定時間αが経過した状態になる場合がある。
 この場合、コントローラ5は、ステップS15で電動ポンプ2を駆動することで、車両がレディオン状態になった後、油膜切れ状態になる時間に達したときに電動ポンプ2を駆動でき、これにより、油膜切れ状態が発生しないようにすることができる。
 図6、図7は、コントローラ5が行う制御に対応するタイミングチャートの一例を示す図である。図6は、レディオフ状態の継続時間が所定時間αより長い場合を示し、図7はレディオフ状態の継続時間が所定時間αより短い場合を示す。
 図6に示す例では、減速中の車両がタイミングT11で停止し、車両の停止に応じて電動ポンプ2も停止する。レディRDYは、タイミングT11を経て、タイミングT12でオンからオフになる。なお、タイミングT11,T12間のレディオン状態が長い場合は、電動ポンプ2からのオイルOLの潤滑供給を別途行うことができる。レディRDYは、さらにその後、タイミングT13でオフからオンになる。
 タイミングT12,T13間の経過時間(レディオフ状態の継続時間)は、所定時間αより長く、所定時間αは、油膜切れが発生するといった次元の油膜の経時変化に応じた長さに予め設定される。
 このため、タイミングT13では油膜が切れた状態になっており、電動ポンプ2が駆動されることで、オイルOLの潤滑供給が行われる。タイミングT13では、車両は停止しており、電動ポンプ2は、車両の発進に備え、潤滑に必要な量のオイルOLをギアボックス部1bに供給すると停止される。電動ポンプ2は、駆動を開始してから予め定められた所定時間が経過した場合に停止できる。
 その後、タイミングT14では車両の加速が開始され、車速VSPが上昇し始める。この際には、ギアボックス部1bの各部は、タイミングT13で駆動された電動ポンプ2からのオイルOLによりすでに潤滑されているので、摩耗等から保護される。タイミングT14からは、ギアボックス部1bが動力伝達状態になるので、電動ポンプ2が駆動され、動力伝達状態のギアボックス部1bの各部へのオイルOLの潤滑供給が行われる。
 図7に示す例では、減速中の車両がタイミングT21で停止し、車両の停止に応じて電動ポンプ2も停止する。レディRDYは、タイミングT21を経て、タイミングT22でオンからオフになる。レディRDYは、さらにその後、タイミングT23でオフからオンになるが、タイミングT22,T23間の経過時間(レディオフ状態の継続時間)は、所定時間αより短く、タイミングT23では油膜は切れていない。
 このため、タイミングT23では電動ポンプ2は駆動されず、これにより、電動ポンプ2の不要な消費電力が削減されるので、電動ポンプ2の運転効率が高まる。その後、タイミングT24では車両の加速が開始され、タイミングT24からは、動力伝達状態のギアボックス部1bへのオイルOLの潤滑供給を行うために、電動ポンプ2が駆動される。
 図8は、コントローラ5が行う制御の変形例をフローチャートで示す図である。図8に示すフローチャートは、ステップS21が追加されている点以外、図5に示すフローチャートと同じため、以下では主にステップS21について説明する。
 ステップS12に続き、ステップS21ではアクセルペダルがオフか否かが判定される。アクセルペダルがオフか否かは、アクセル開度センサ92からの信号に基づき判定できる。ステップS21で肯定判定であれば、アクセルペダルは踏まれていないと判断され、処理はステップS13に進む。
 ステップS21で否定判定であれば、アクセルペダルが踏まれていると判断され、ステップS15で電動ポンプ2が駆動される。つまり、アクセルペダルが踏まれたときはオイルOLの必要流量が増える合図なので、コントローラ5は、車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になった後に、アクセルペダルが踏まれた場合は、電動ポンプ2を駆動する。これにより、オイルOLの必要流量の増加に備え、事前に油膜を形成することが可能になる。
 次に、コントローラ5の主な作用効果について説明する。
 (1)コントローラ5は、電動オイルポンプ2を有するユニット1が搭載された車両の制御装置であり、車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になり、且つレディオフ状態が所定時間α継続している場合に、電動オイルポンプ2を駆動する。
 この構成によれば、レディオフ状態が短い場合には油膜が切れていないことが多く、オイルOLの潤滑供給を必要としない場合が多いことから、所定時間α継続したレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になったときに電動オイルポンプ2を駆動する。これにより、レディオフ状態が所定時間α継続していない場合は、電動オイルポンプ2を駆動せずに済むので、不要な消費電力を削減して電動オイルポンプ2の運転効率を高めることができる。また、電動オイルポンプ2の作動は車両の音振性能に影響するので、音振性能に影響が表れる頻度も低減できる。
 (2)コントローラ5は、車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になった後に、レディオフ状態の開始後から所定時間αが経過した状態になった場合に、電動オイルポンプ2を駆動する。
 この構成によれば、レディオン状態になった後、油膜切れ状態になる時間に達したときに電動オイルポンプ2を駆動することにより、油膜切れ状態が発生しないようにすることができる。
 (3)コントローラ5は、車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になった後に、アクセルペダルが踏まれた場合は、電動オイルポンプ2を駆動してもよい。
 この構成によれば、アクセルペダルが踏まれたときをオイルOLの必要流量が増加するときの合図として、電動オイルポンプ2を駆動することにより、オイルOLの必要流量の増加に備え、事前に油膜を形成することが可能になる。
 以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、上記実施形態は本発明の適用例の一部を示したに過ぎず、本発明の技術的範囲を上記実施形態の具体的構成に限定する趣旨ではない。

Claims (5)

  1.  電動オイルポンプを有するユニットが搭載された車両の制御装置であって、
     前記車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になり、且つ前記レディオフ状態が所定時間継続している場合に、前記電動オイルポンプを駆動する制御部を有する、車両の制御装置。
  2.  請求項1に記載の車両の制御装置であって、
     前記制御部は、前記車両が前記レディオフ状態から前記レディオン状態になった後に、前記レディオフ状態の開始後から前記所定時間が経過した状態になった場合に、前記電動オイルポンプを駆動する、車両の制御装置。
  3.  請求項1に記載の車両の制御装置であって、
     前記制御部は、前記車両が前記レディオフ状態から前記レディオン状態になった後に、アクセルペダルが踏まれた場合は、前記電動オイルポンプを駆動する、車両の制御装置。
  4.  電動オイルポンプを有するユニットが搭載された車両の制御方法であって、
     前記車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になり、且つ前記レディオフ状態が所定時間継続している場合に、前記電動オイルポンプを駆動すること、を含む車両の制御方法。
  5.  電動オイルポンプを有するユニットが搭載された車両の制御装置のコンピュータが実行可能なプログラムであって、
     前記車両がレディオフ状態からレディオン状態になり、且つ前記レディオフ状態が所定時間継続している場合に、前記電動オイルポンプを駆動すること、を含むプログラム。
