Abstract

荷役用移動体(10)は、倒立車輪型である。姿勢制御部は、フォーク(45)によって荷Wを支持した状態で荷役用移動体(10)を倒立させるべく、右輪駆動モータ及び左輪駆動モータによって車体(11)を揺動させて荷役用移動体(10)の重心(G)を前後方向に移動させる。姿勢制御部は、フォーク(45)によって荷(W)を支持した状態で荷役用移動体(10)を倒立させる前に、荷役用移動体(10)の重心(G)を、フォーク(45)によって荷(W)を支持していない状態よりも後ろに移動させる。

Description

荷役用移動体
 本開示は、荷役用移動体に関する。
 例えば、特許文献1には、倒立車輪型の移動体の一例であるロボットが開示されている。ロボットは、ボディと、2つの脚と、関節式アームと、を備える。ボディは、倒立振子ボディと、カウンタバランスボディと、を備える。カウンタバランスボディと倒立振子ボディとは、後部関節によって回転可能に結合されている。また、倒立振子ボディには、関節式アームが連結されている。ロボットにおいて、カウンタバランスボディを倒立振子ボディに対して回転させることにより、ロボットの質量中心は、重力垂直軸に対して移動する。これにより、ロボットの姿勢が変わるとともに、バランスを取ることができる。
 2つの脚の各々は、上部と、下部とを備える。上部と下部とは、膝関節によって連結されている。脚の上部は、脚の第1端部から膝関節まで延在する。脚の下部は、膝関節から第2端部まで延在する。膝関節は、膝アクチュエータによって駆動する。
 脚の第1端部は、ボディの股関節に回転可能に結合されている。股関節は、脚アクチュエータによって駆動する。脚アクチュエータは、脚の上部をボディに対して回転させる。脚の第2端部は、駆動輪に結合されている。駆動輪は、駆動部としてのトルクアクチュエータによって駆動する。トルクアクチュエータの駆動により駆動輪が回転すると、ロボットを移動させることができる。

 倒立車輪型の移動体は、駆動部によって駆動輪を回転させることによって移動可能であるとともに、倒立可能とする。ところが、特許文献1のロボットにおいて、駆動部としてのトルクアクチュエータは、脚だけでなく、倒立振子ボディと、カウンタバランスボディとを動かすので、これらを動かす時に大きなトルクが加わるため、大きな出力を必要とする。その結果、トルクアクチュエータの規格が大きくなるため、ロボットが大型化してしまう。
 本開示の一態様では、倒立車輪型の荷役用移動体が提供される。荷役用移動体は、左右一対の駆動輪と、前記左右一対の駆動輪の車軸と同軸の軸線を揺動中心に揺動可能な車体と、前記車体に支持される荷役装置であって、荷を支持する支持部材を備える前記荷役装置と、を備える。前記車体は、前記左右一対の駆動輪を駆動させる駆動部と、当該駆動部及び前記荷役装置の駆動を制御する制御装置と、前記駆動部及び前記荷役装置の電力源とを備える。前記制御装置は、前記駆動部の駆動を制御して、前記軸線を揺動中心に前記車体を揺動させることによって前記車体の姿勢を制御する姿勢制御部を備える。前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持した状態で前記荷役用移動体を倒立させるべく、前記駆動部によって前記車体を揺動させて前記荷役用移動体の重心を前後方向に移動させる。前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持した状態で前記荷役用移動体を倒立させる前に、前記荷役用移動体の前記重心を、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持していない状態よりも後ろに移動させる。
 本開示の別の態様では、倒立車輪型の荷役用移動体が提供される。荷役用移動体は、左右一対の駆動輪と、前記左右一対の駆動輪の車軸と同軸の軸線を揺動中心に揺動可能な車体と、前記車体に支持される荷役装置であって、荷を支持する支持部材を備える前記荷役装置と、を備える。前記車体は、前記左右一対の駆動輪を駆動させる駆動部と、当該駆動部及び前記荷役装置の駆動を制御する制御装置と、前記駆動部及び前記荷役装置の電力源とを備える。前記制御装置は、前記駆動部の駆動を制御して、前記軸線を揺動中心に前記車体を揺動させることによって前記車体の姿勢を制御する姿勢制御部を備える。前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持していない状態で前記荷役用移動体を倒立させるべく、前記駆動部によって前記車体を揺動させて前記荷役用移動体の重心を前後方向に移動させる。前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持した状態から前記荷を開放して前記荷を支持していない状態に変化させる前に、前記荷役用移動体の前記重心を、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持している状態よりも前に移動させる。
 本開示の更に別の態様では、倒立車輪型の荷役用移動体が提供される。荷役用移動体は、左右一対の駆動輪と、前記左右一対の駆動輪の車軸と同軸の軸線を揺動中心に揺動可能な車体と、前記車体に支持される荷役装置であって、荷を支持する支持部材を備える前記荷役装置と、を備える。前記車体は、前記左右一対の駆動輪を駆動させる駆動部と、当該駆動部及び前記荷役装置の駆動を制御する制御装置と、前記駆動部及び前記荷役装置の電力源とを備える。前記制御装置は、前記駆動部の駆動を制御して、前記軸線を揺動中心に前記車体を揺動させることによって前記車体の姿勢を制御する姿勢制御部を備える。前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役用移動体を倒立させるべく、前記駆動部によって前記車体を揺動させて前記荷役用移動体の重心を前後方向に移動させる。

 (第1の実施形態)
 以下、荷役用移動体を具体化した第1の実施形態を図1~図11にしたがって説明する。
 <荷役用移動体の全体>
 図1及び図2に示すように、荷役用移動体10は、倒立車輪型である。荷役用移動体10は、車体11と、右駆動輪31と、左駆動輪32と、荷役装置40と、を備える。以下の説明において、前後左右上下は、荷役用移動体10を基準にした前後左右上下である。前後方向Xは、荷役用移動体10の進行方向、つまり前進方向及び後進方向のいずれの方向ともいえる。左右方向Yは、荷役用移動体10の車幅方向ともいえる。重力方向Zは荷役用移動体10の高さ方向ともいえる。
 <車体>
 車体11は、機台12と、バッテリ33と、制御装置50と、筐体35と、右輪駆動部21と、左輪駆動部25と、を備える。
 機台12は、板状である。機台12は、第1主面121と、第2主面122と、を有する。第1主面121と第2主面122とは、機台12の板厚方向に互いに反対となる面である。板厚方向は、機台12の第1主面121及び第2主面122の一方から他方に向かう方向である。
 バッテリ33及び制御装置50の各々は、第2主面122に配置されている。バッテリ33は、荷役用移動体10の電力源である。バッテリ33は、放電可能であれば、一次電池でもよいし、二次電池でもよい。制御装置50は、荷役用移動体10の駆動を制御する。制御装置50は後に説明する。
 筐体35は、第2主面122に配置されている。筐体35は箱状である。筐体35は、台座35aと、台座35aから機台12に向けて筒状に延出する4つの側壁35bと、を備える。台座35aは、筐体35の天板である。台座35aの上面は、荷役装置40の設置面351である。筐体35の内側には、台座35aと4つの側壁35bによって画定された空間が形成されている。機台12の第2主面122と、筐体35の内面とによって囲まれた空間は、収容空間Sである。バッテリ33及び制御装置50は、収容空間Sに収容されている。
 右輪駆動部21は、機台12の第1主面121に設置されている。右輪駆動部21は、右輪駆動モータ22と、右車軸23と、右輪エンコーダ24と、右カバー29aを備える。右輪駆動モータ22及び右輪エンコーダ24は、第1主面121の下方に設置されている。右輪駆動モータ22及び右輪エンコーダ24は、右カバー29aに収容されている。右車軸23は、右輪駆動モータ22の回転軸に連結されている。右車軸23は、右輪駆動モータ22の駆動によって回転する。右車軸23は、右カバー29aを貫通して右カバー29aの外部に突出している。右駆動輪31は、右車軸23における右カバー29aからの突出部に固定されている。右輪駆動モータ22が駆動すると、右車軸23を介して右駆動輪31が駆動する。右輪エンコーダ24は、右駆動輪31の回転量としての回転角を検出する。
 左輪駆動部25は、機台12の第1主面121に設置されている。右輪駆動部21と左輪駆動部25とは、左右方向Yに離れて第1主面121に設置されている。左輪駆動部25は、左輪駆動モータ27と、左車軸26と、左輪エンコーダ28と、左カバー29bと、を備える。左輪駆動モータ27及び左輪エンコーダ28は、第1主面121の下方に設置されている。左輪駆動モータ27及び左輪エンコーダ28は、左カバー29bに収容されている。左車軸26は、左輪駆動モータ27の回転軸に連結されている。左車軸26は、左輪駆動モータ27の駆動によって回転する。左車軸26は、左カバー29bを貫通して左カバー29bの外部に突出している。左駆動輪32は、左車軸26における左カバー29bからの突出部に固定されている。左輪駆動モータ27が駆動すると、左車軸26を介して左駆動輪32が駆動する。左輪エンコーダ28は、左駆動輪32の回転量としての回転角を検出する。
 <右駆動輪及び左駆動輪>
 右駆動輪31及び左駆動輪32は、車体11及び荷役装置40を支持している。右駆動輪31は、走行面と接地する。左駆動輪32は、走行面と接地する。なお、走行面は、水平面である。右駆動輪31と左駆動輪32が回転することによって、荷役用移動体10が移動する。
 右駆動輪31と左駆動輪32は、荷役用移動体10が備える左右一対の駆動輪である。また、右車軸23の中心軸線と左車軸26の中心軸線とは、同一の軸線L上に位置する。したがって、左右一対の駆動輪31,32の左右の車軸23,26は、同軸上に位置する。そして、機台12と、バッテリ33と、制御装置50と、筐体35と、右輪駆動部21と、左輪駆動部25とを一体に備える車体11は、軸線Lを揺動中心に揺動可能である。また、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25は、左右一対の駆動輪31,32を駆動させる駆動部である。右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25は、バッテリ33から供給される電力によって駆動する。したがって、バッテリ33は、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25の電力源である。
 <荷役装置>
 荷役装置40は、台座35aの設置面351に設けられている。したがって、荷役装置40は、車体11に支持されている。荷役装置40は、バッテリ33から供給される電力によって駆動する。したがって、バッテリ33は、荷役装置40の電力源である。
 荷役装置40は、支持台41と、荷役モータ42と、荷役用エンコーダ43と、荷役バー44と、支持部材としての一対のフォーク45と、を備える。
 支持台41は、台座35aの設置面351の前後方向X及び左右方向Yの中央部に設けられている。荷役モータ42は、支持台41に支持されている。荷役用エンコーダ43は、荷役モータ42の回転量として回転角を検出する。荷役バー44は、荷役モータ42から左右方向Yに延在する。荷役バー44は、荷役モータ42の図示しない回転軸と同軸上に延在する。荷役モータ42の駆動によって荷役モータ42の回転軸が回転すると、荷役バー44が揺動する。
 フォーク45は、荷役バー44の左右方向Yの両端に設けられている。フォーク45の上面45aは、平坦面である。フォーク45は、長板状である。フォーク45は、基端部と先端部とを備える。フォーク45の先端部は、フォーク45の長手方向における基端部とは反対側の端部である。
 フォーク45の基端部は、荷役バー44に固定されている。ここで、荷役用移動体10を左右方向Yの外側から見ることを、荷役用移動体10の側面視とする。側面視において、フォーク45は、荷役バー44、ひいては荷役モータ42から延出する。このため、側面視において、フォーク45の先端部は、荷役バー44、ひいては荷役モータ42から前後方向Xに離れた位置にある。フォーク45が、当該フォーク45の基端部から先端部に延出する方向は、荷役用移動体10の進行方向のうちの前進方向である。フォーク45が、当該フォーク45の先端部から基端部に延出する方向は、荷役用移動体10の進行方向のうちの後進方向である。フォーク45は、当該フォーク45の基端部を揺動中心として揺動する。
 図3に示すように、フォーク45の上面45aに荷Wを支持していない状態は、非荷役状態である。図9に示すように、フォーク45の上面45aに荷Wを支持した状態は、荷役状態である。
 なお、前後方向Xでの荷役用移動体10の重心Gの位置は、非荷役状態では、車体11の重量、及び荷役装置40の重量と、車体11の姿勢に基づいて決まる。左右方向Yでの荷役用移動体10の重心Gの位置は、荷Wが、左右方向Yの中央に支持されていると仮定して左右方向Yの中央に位置する。
 以下の説明では、フォーク45の上面45aに荷Wを支持していない、非荷役状態で、図3に示すように、フォーク45が基準位置にあるときの基準姿勢T1では、中心線Nは、重力線Mと一致しているとし、左右方向Yでの重心Gの位置を左右方向Yの中央とする。以下は、前後方向Xでの重心Gの位置について説明する。
 フォーク45は、荷役モータ42の駆動により、基準位置と、ティルトアップ位置と、ティルトダウン位置とを取り得る。基準位置は、フォーク45の上面45aを設置面351と平行にした位置である。ティルトアップ位置は、基準位置よりもフォーク45の先端部を上にした位置である。ティルトダウン位置は、基準位置よりもフォーク45の先端部を下にした位置である。このようなフォーク45の位置は、荷役モータ42の駆動によって実行される。
 <車体の位置>
 荷役用移動体10は、側面視で、基準姿勢T1と、前傾姿勢T2と、後傾姿勢T3と、を取り得る。
 図3に示すように、荷役用移動体10の側面視で、基準姿勢T1は、フォーク45の上面45aを走行面と平行、かつ設置面351を走行面と平行にした姿勢である。つまり、フォーク45は基準位置にある。
 図10に示すように、荷役用移動体10の側面視で、前傾姿勢T2は、基準姿勢T1よりも車体11を前傾させた姿勢である。荷役用移動体10の側面視で、前傾姿勢T2での設置面351は、前下がりとなる。なお、[前下がり]とは、設置面351において、フォーク45の延出方向の先端部側が下がること、つまり、設置面351において進行方向前側が下がることである。
 図6の2点鎖線に示すように、荷役用移動体10は、フォーク45を基準位置としたまま前傾姿勢T2を取り得る。この場合、フォーク45は、前下がりとなる。また、図10に示すように、荷役用移動体10は、フォーク45の上面45aを走行面と平行にするため、フォーク45をティルトアップ位置としつつ前傾姿勢T2を取り得る。
 図9に示すように、荷役用移動体10の側面視で、後傾姿勢T3は、基準姿勢T1よりも車体11を後傾させた姿勢である。荷役用移動体10の側面視で、後傾姿勢T3での設置面351は、後下がりとなる。なお、[後下がり]とは、設置面351において、フォーク45の延出方向の基端部側が下がること、つまり、設置面351において進行方向後側が下がることである。
 図6の実線に示すように、荷役用移動体10は、フォーク45を基準位置としたまま後傾姿勢T3を取り得る。この場合、フォーク45は、後下がりとなる。また、図9に示すように、荷役用移動体10は、フォーク45の上面45aを走行面と平行にするため、フォーク45をティルトダウン位置としつつ後傾姿勢T3を取り得る。
 制御装置50は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27の駆動を制御することにより、車体11を基準姿勢T1、前傾姿勢T2、又は後傾姿勢T3にすることができる。また、制御装置50は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27の駆動を制御することにより、荷役用移動体10の重心Gの位置を前後方向Xに移動することができる。
 前後方向Xでの荷役用移動体10の重心Gの位置は、荷役状態では、車体11の重量、荷役装置40の重量、及び荷Wの重量と、車体11の姿勢に基づいて決まる。左右方向Yでの荷役用移動体10の重心Gの位置は、荷Wが、左右方向Yの中央、かつ前後方向Xの予め定められた位置に支持されていると仮定して、左右方向Yの中央、かつ前後方向Xの予め定められた位置に位置する。
 図6に示すように、荷役用移動体10の側面視で、軸線Lを重力方向Zに通過する仮想線を重力線Mとする。また、重力線Mと、前後方向Xにおける車体11の中心線Nとの間に形成される角度のうち、小さい方の角度を車体11の傾斜角θとする。
 図3に示すように、フォーク45が基準位置にあるときの基準姿勢T1では、中心線Nは、重力線Mと一致するとともに、重心Gは、重力線M上に位置する。このため、傾斜角θはゼロである。
 図6に示すように、非荷役状態から荷役状態に移行したり、フォーク45の位置が変化したり、荷役用移動体10が移動したりして重心Gの位置が移動すると車体11の傾斜角θが変化する。具体的には、基準姿勢T1の荷役用移動体10において、非荷役状態から荷役状態に移行すると、重心Gの位置は、荷Wの重量に応じて前に移動する。荷Wの重量が大きいほど、重心Gの位置は前後方向Xの前側へ移動する。また、基準姿勢T1の荷役用移動体10において、荷役状態から非荷役状態に移行すると、重心Gの位置は、荷Wの重量に応じて後ろに移動する。基準姿勢T1の荷役用移動体10において、荷役用移動体10の移動に伴って加速度が発生すると、重心Gの位置は、荷役用移動体10の進行方向と反対方向へ移動する。
 制御装置50は、重心Gの位置に応じて傾斜角θを調節すべく車体11の姿勢を、基準姿勢T1、前傾姿勢T2、及び後傾姿勢T3のいずれかに制御する。これにより、車体11の姿勢が制御される。その結果、荷役用移動体10は、倒立できる。
 <制御装置>
 制御装置50は、荷役用移動体10の全体を制御する。また、制御装置50は、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25と、荷役装置40の駆動を制御する。
 制御装置50は、プロセッサと、記憶部と、を備える。プロセッサとしては、例えば、CPU(Central Processing Unit)、GPU(Graphics Processing Unit)、及びDSP(Digital Signal Processor)を挙げることができる。記憶部は、RAM(Random Access Memory)及びROM(Read Only Memory)を含む。記憶部は、処理をプロセッサに実行させるように構成されたプログラムコードまたは指令を格納している。記憶部、即ち、コンピュータ可読媒体は、汎用または専用のコンピュータでアクセスできるあらゆる利用可能な媒体を含む。制御装置50は、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)やFPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)等のハードウェア回路によって構成されていてもよい。処理回路である制御装置50は、コンピュータプログラムに従って動作する1つ以上のプロセッサ、ASICやFPGA等の1つ以上のハードウェア回路、或いは、それらの組み合わせを含み得る。
 図4に示すように、制御装置50は、姿勢制御部51と、位置制御部52と、荷役制御部53と、を備える。制御装置50には、入力部55と、通信部56とが接続されている。
 <入力部>
 入力部55は、荷役用移動体10を駆動させるための各種指令値を出力する。入力部55は、各種指令値を制御装置50に入力する。
 <通信部>
 通信部56は、荷役用移動体10によって搬送する荷Wの重量に係る情報を荷重信号として、図示しない上位制御部から受信する。通信部56は、受信した荷重信号を姿勢制御部51に出力する。
 <位置制御部>
 入力部55は、位置制御部52に位置指令値を入力する。位置指令値は、荷役用移動体10の移動経路、移動速度等の荷役用移動体10を移動させるための指令値である。移動経路に係る位置指令値は、例えば、荷役用移動体10の待機位置から、荷取り位置を経由して荷下ろし位置に至るまでの指令値である。この位置指令値に従って、荷役用移動体10は、待機位置から荷取り位置まで移動した後、荷取り位置で荷Wをフォーク45の上面45aに支持する。さらに、位置指令値に従って、荷役用移動体10は、荷Wをフォーク45の上面45aに支持した状態で、荷取り位置から荷下ろし位置まで移動する。そして、位置指令値に従って、荷役用移動体10は、荷下ろし位置で荷Wを下ろす。なお、移動経路に係る位置指令値は、任意に変更してもよい。例えば、移動経路に係る位置指令値は、待機位置から荷取り位置までであったり、荷取り位置から荷下ろし位置までであったりしてもよい。
 移動速度に係る位置指令値は、荷役用移動体10を移動させる速度を指令するための指令値である。移動速度は、任意に変更できる。
 図3に示すように、位置指令値に含まれる荷取り位置には、荷置き台100が設置されている。荷置き台100の載置面100aには、パレット101が載置されている。パレット101には、一対のフォーク45を挿抜可能なパレット孔101aが形成されている。荷Wは、パレット101に載置されている。パレット孔101aを画定する孔形成面のうち、重力方向Zの上側に位置する面は、接触面101bである。載置面100aに載置されたパレット101において、接触面101bは、走行面に平行である。ただし、荷置き台100や載置面100aの僅かな傾き等に起因して、接触面101bは、走行面に対し、平行から若干傾いていてもよい。
 荷役用移動体10は、位置指令値に従って、パレット孔101aに一対のフォーク45を差し込める荷取り位置まで移動する。なお、荷役用移動体10の移動時、フォーク45は、基準位置、ティルトアップ位置、ティルトダウン位置のいずれにあってもよい。ただし、パレット孔101aにフォーク45を差し込む際は、フォーク45は基準位置に位置する。また、パレット孔101aに一対のフォーク45を差し込んだ後も、フォーク45は、基準位置を維持したままとなる。その後、荷Wを持ち上げるため、フォーク45は、ティルトアップ位置に移動される。すると、フォーク45の上面45aに接触面101bが接触するとともに、上面45aにパレット101が支持される。
 位置制御部52は、入力部55から出力された位置指令値に従って、荷役用移動体10の加速度及び目標速度を算出する。位置制御部52は、算出した加速度及び目標速度に応じて右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を駆動する。すると、荷役用移動体10は、移動経路を移動速度で走行する。
 位置制御部52には、右輪エンコーダ24から、右駆動輪31の回転角に係る検出信号が入力される。また、位置制御部52には、左輪エンコーダ28から、左駆動輪32の回転角に係る検出信号が入力される。位置制御部52は、右輪エンコーダ24の出力した検出信号を取得するとともに、左輪エンコーダ28の出力した検出信号を取得する。位置制御部52は、取得した検出信号に基づいて、右駆動輪31の回転角速度を検出するとともに、左駆動輪32の回転角速度を取得する。位置制御部52は、取得した回転角速度に基づいて、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を駆動する。位置制御部52の制御により、荷役用移動体10は位置指令値に従って、移動経路を移動速度で移動する。
 <姿勢制御部>
 入力部55は、姿勢制御部51に姿勢指令値を入力する。姿勢指令値は、車体11の姿勢角度を制御するための指令値である。姿勢制御部51は、姿勢指令値に従って右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25の駆動を制御して、軸線Lを揺動中心に車体11を揺動させることによって、車体11の姿勢を制御する。
 姿勢制御部51には、計測部51aと、右輪駆動モータ22と、左輪駆動モータ27とが接続されている。計測部51aは、IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit)である。計測部51aは、制御装置50に内蔵されている。計測部51aは、3次元の慣性運動を検出する。慣性運動は、直交3軸方向の並進運動及び回転運動である。計測部51aは、内蔵する加速度センサにより並進運動を検出するとともに、内蔵するジャイロセンサにより回転運動を検出する。
 計測部51aは、荷Wをフォーク45によって支持したとき又は荷Wをフォーク45から下ろしたとき、車体11の傾斜角θを計測する。計測部51aによって計測された傾斜角θは、車体11の姿勢の変化に応じて変化する。つまり、傾斜角θは、車体11の前後方向Xへの重心Gの位置に応じて変化する変化量である。計測部51aは、車体11の前後方向Xへの傾斜角θの変化を検出する。
 姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの計測した傾斜角θに係る検出信号を取得する。姿勢制御部51は、取得した傾斜角θに係る検出信号に基づいて、重心Gを重力線M上に位置させるように、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動する。すると、重心Gの位置に応じて車体11の姿勢が基準姿勢T1、前傾姿勢T2、又は後傾姿勢T3に制御されるとともに、その制御された姿勢で荷役用移動体10が倒立する。したがって、姿勢制御部51は、荷役用移動体10を倒立させるべく、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25によって車体11を揺動させて重心Gの位置を前後方向Xに移動させる。
 姿勢制御部51は、通信部56の出力した荷重信号を取得する。この荷重信号は、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持した状態で荷役用移動体10を倒立させるよりも前に姿勢制御部51に入力される。姿勢制御部51は、取得した荷重信号に基づいて、荷Wをフォーク45で支持したときに発生するモーメントを導出する。なお、モーメントは、姿勢制御部51による演算によって導出してもよいし、姿勢制御部51に記憶されたマップやテーブルを用いて導出してもよい。要は、姿勢制御部51が、取得した荷重信号からモーメントを導出できれば、その導出方法は任意である。また、導出されるモーメントは、車体11が基準姿勢T1にあり、かつフォーク45が基準位置にあるときに発生すると予測されるモーメントである。
 導出されるモーメントは、基準位置にあるフォーク45の基端側を下方へ回転させる方向に働くモーメントである。仮に、このようなモーメントが荷役用移動体10に発生すると、荷役用移動体10は、フォーク45の先端を下げて前進しようとする。つまり、荷Wがフォーク45に支持されたとき、重心Gは、重力線Mより前へ移動することになるため、荷役用移動体10は、前進しようとする。
 姿勢制御部51は、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持した状態で荷役用移動体10を倒立させるよりも前に、導出されたモーメントに基づいて、右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動させて、荷役用移動体10が後進するように右駆動輪31及び左駆動輪32を回転させる。つまり、姿勢制御部51は、荷重信号に基づいて、重心Gを後ろに移動させるべく、右駆動輪31及び左駆動輪32を回転させる。その結果、荷役用移動体10の姿勢制御部51は、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持していない状態よりも後ろに重心Gを移動させる。
 姿勢制御部51は、モーメントの導出と同時に、右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動モータ27を駆動させる量を導出する。右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27の駆動量は、右駆動輪31及び左駆動輪32の回転量でもある。なお、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27の駆動量は、姿勢制御部51による演算によって導出してもよいし、モーメントに駆動量を紐付けたマップやテーブルを用いて導出してもよい。
 したがって、姿勢制御部51は、導出されたモーメント、及び駆動量に基づいて、右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動させて、荷役用移動体10が後進するように右駆動輪31及び左駆動輪32を回転させる。つまり、姿勢制御部51は、車体11の重心Gを、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持していない状態よりも後ろ、具体的には、重力線Mより後ろに移動させる。
 姿勢制御部51によって重心Gを後ろに移動させると、車体11は、後傾姿勢T3を取る。つまり、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持した状態で荷役用移動体10を倒立させる前、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gを後ろに移動させるとともに、車体11を後傾姿勢T3とする。その結果、姿勢制御部51は、荷役用移動体10にカウンタウエイトを擬似的に形成した状態を作り出すことができる。つまり、荷役用移動体10は、姿勢制御部51の制御により、荷役用移動体10がカウンタウエイトを備えている状態を擬似的に作り出すことができる。
 <荷役制御部>
 入力部55は、荷役制御部53に荷役指令値を入力する。荷役指令値は、一例として、フォーク45の角度を制御するための指令値である。荷役制御部53は、荷役モータ42と、荷役用エンコーダ43と接続されている。荷役用エンコーダ43は、荷役モータ42の回転角速度を検出するとともに、検出信号を荷役制御部53に出力する。荷役制御部53は、荷役指令値に従い、荷役用エンコーダ43の検出した回転角に係る検出信号に基づいて荷役モータ42を駆動する。
 上記のように、フォーク45は、基準位置、ティルトアップ位置、ティルトダウン位置のいずれかを取り得る。基準位置、ティルトアップ位置、ティルトダウン位置といったフォーク45の位置は、荷役制御部53による荷役指令値に従って制御される。
 荷役制御部53は、荷Wをフォーク45に支持させる前は、荷役モータ42の駆動を制御することによって、フォーク45を基準位置とする。荷役制御部53は、荷Wを荷置き台100から持ち上げるときは、荷役指令値に従って荷役モータ42の駆動を制御することによって、フォーク45を基準位置からティルトアップ位置に移動させる。さらに、荷Wをフォーク45に支持させた状態で荷役用移動体10を倒立させるときは、荷役制御部53は、荷役指令値に従って荷役モータ42の駆動を制御することによって、フォーク45を基準位置からティルトダウン位置に移動させる。
 荷役制御部53は、荷Wを搬送するときは、荷役指令値に従って荷役モータ42の駆動を制御することによって、フォーク45をティルトアップ位置に移動させる。荷役制御部53は、荷下ろしするときは、荷役指令値に従って荷役モータ42の駆動を制御することによって、フォーク45をティルトダウン位置に移動させる。なお、荷Wを搬送するときに、フォーク45を基準位置に移動してもよく、荷下ろしするときにフォーク45を基準位置に移動してもよい。
 <荷役用移動体の動作>
 荷役用移動体10の動作は、入力部55によって移動経路、移動速度等の各種指令値が制御装置50に入力された後、操作者によって開始される。
 制御装置50は、移動時処理と、荷役処理を実行する。なお、荷役用移動体10の車体11は基準姿勢T1に制御されるとともに、フォーク45は基準位置に制御されている。
 また、制御装置50は、荷Wを搬送する前に、上位制御部からの指令によって、荷Wの荷重信号を受信している。通信部56は、入力した荷Wの荷重信号を姿勢制御部51に出力している。姿勢制御部51は、通信部56から荷重信号を取得するとともに、荷重信号に基づいてモーメントと、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27の駆動量を導出している。
 <荷役処理>
 荷役用移動体10は、移動経路に沿って移動して荷取り位置まで移動すると、図5に示すフローチャートに従って荷役処理を開始する。なお、荷役用移動体10は、車体11が基準姿勢T1にあるとともに、フォーク45は基準位置にある。位置制御部52は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27の駆動を制御して、荷取り位置で荷役用移動体10を前進させる。すると、荷役用移動体10は、一対のフォーク45をパレット孔101aに差し込む(ステップS11)。
 次に、姿勢制御部51は、荷重信号に基づいて導出した右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27の駆動量で、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動させる。つまり、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gを重力線Mより後ろに移動させる。すると、図7に示すように、荷重信号に応じて重心Gが重力線Mより後ろに移動する(ステップS12)。その結果、荷Wをフォーク45に支持する前に、擬似的に形成されたカウンタウエイトによって、車体11が後傾する。なお、フォーク45の上面45aは、パレット101の接触面101bに接触していない。このため、フォーク45には、荷Wの荷重が加わっていない。
 次に、荷役制御部53は、荷役モータ42を駆動して、一対のフォーク45をティルトアップ位置に配置する(ステップS13)。このとき、車体11の傾きは変化していない。すると、図8に示すように、一対のフォーク45の上面45aにパレット101の接触面101bが接触するとともに、パレット101を介してフォーク45の上面45aに荷Wが支持される。そして、さらにフォーク45がティルトアップされると、図示しないが、フォーク45に荷Wが支持されることによって、荷Wの重量に応じて重心Gが前後方向Xに沿って前へ移動する。
 計測部51aは、車体11の傾斜角θを計測する。また、姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの計測した傾斜角θに係る検出信号を取得する。姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、重心Gが重力線Mより前にあるか否かを判定する(ステップS14)。重心Gが重力線Mより前にあると判定した場合(ステップS14でYES)、姿勢制御部51は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動して車体11を後ろに傾ける(ステップS15)。すると、荷役用移動体10は、後傾姿勢T3となる。このとき、荷役制御部53は、フォーク45を基準位置に戻す。
 次に、姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、重心Gが安定したか否かを判定する(ステップS16)。姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが安定したと判定した場合(ステップS16でYES)、荷役処理を終了する。重心Gが安定した状態は、重心Gが重力線M上に位置する状態である。これにより、荷役用移動体10は、後傾姿勢T3で倒立する。
 その結果、図9に示すように、パレット101を介してフォーク45の上面45aに荷Wが支持された状態において、荷役用移動体10は、後傾姿勢T3で倒立する。
 一方、図5に示すように、重心Gが、重力線Mより前に移動していない場合(ステップS14でNO)、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが重力線Mより後ろにあるか否かを判定する(ステップS17)。姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが重力線Mより後ろにあると判定した場合(ステップS17でYES)、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動して、車体11を前に若干傾ける(ステップS18)。すると、荷役用移動体10は、後傾量を少なくしつつも後傾姿勢T3となる。なお、荷役制御部53は、フォーク45を基準位置に戻す。
 次に、姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、重心Gが安定したか否かを判定する(ステップS16)。姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが安定したと判定した場合(ステップS16でYES)、荷役処理を終了する。
 重心Gが安定した状態は、重心Gが重力線M上に位置する状態である。その結果、重心Gの位置が調節されるとともに、フォーク45の上面45aに荷Wが支持された状態において、荷役用移動体10は後傾姿勢T3を取る状態で静止する。つまり、荷役用移動体10は、後傾姿勢T3で倒立する。
 一方、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが重力線Mより後ろにない場合(ステップS17でNO)、姿勢制御部51は、ステップS16に移行する。そして、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが安定したと判定した場合(ステップS16でYES)、荷役処理を終了する。この場合、重心Gの位置は、予め重力線Mより後ろに移動させながらも、荷取りによって前へ移動することによって、重心Gが重力線M上に位置している場合である。よって、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動させない。このため、荷役用移動体10は、後傾姿勢T3を取る状態で静止する。つまり、荷役用移動体10は、後傾姿勢T3で倒立する。
 したがって、荷役処理が実行されることにより、車体11の重心Gは前後方向Xで調節される。姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を駆動する、又は右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を駆動しない。つまり、重量物である車体11の姿勢を制御することによって、重心Gの位置を調節することにより、荷役用移動体10を倒立できる。
 <移動時処理>
 荷役用移動体10は、荷取り位置で、パレット101を介してフォーク45の上面45aに荷Wを支持すると、荷下ろし位置まで移動すべく、図11に示すフローチャートに従って移動時処理を実行する。なお、移動時処理は、待機位置から荷取り位置まで荷役用移動体10が移動するときにも実行される。
 位置制御部52は、入力部55から入力された移動指令値に含まれる移動速度に基づいて、荷役用移動体10の加速度及び目標速度を算出する(ステップS21)。次に、姿勢制御部51は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を駆動して、重心Gを前に移動して車体11を前傾姿勢T2に変更する(ステップS22)。つまり、荷役用移動体10の移動時は、加速によって車体11は前傾する。このため、姿勢制御部51は、算出された加速度及び目標速度において倒立状態を維持できるように重心Gの位置を制御して前傾姿勢T2にする。
 次に、位置制御部52は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を駆動して荷役用移動体10を移動させる。このとき、図10に示すように、荷役用移動体10は前傾姿勢T2で加速しながら移動する。位置制御部52は、荷役用移動体10の移動速度を目標速度に到達させるように加速されるため、移動速度は目標速度に近付いていく。
 次に、位置制御部52は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、荷役用移動体10の加速度が、算出された加速度に達したか否かを判定する(ステップS23)。ステップS23において、加速度が、算出された加速度に達していない場合(ステップS23でNO)、位置制御部52は、ステップS22に戻る。姿勢制御部51は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を駆動して、重心Gを、さらに前に移動して車体11をさらに前傾な前傾姿勢T2に変更する(ステップS22)。
 ステップS23において、加速度が、算出された加速度に達した場合(ステップS23でYES)、位置制御部52は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、荷役用移動体10の移動速度が、算出された目標速度を超えているか否かを判定する(ステップS24)。ステップS24において、移動速度が、算出された目標速度を超えている場合(ステップS24でYES)、位置制御部52は、ステップS25に移行する。ステップS25において、姿勢制御部51は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を駆動して、重心Gを後ろに移動する。すると、前傾姿勢T2の前傾方向への傾斜角θが小さくなる。姿勢制御部51は、移動速度において倒立状態を維持できるように重心Gの位置を制御する。
 一方、ステップS24において、移動速度が、算出された目標速度を超えていない場合(ステップS24でNO)、位置制御部52は、ステップS26に移行する。ステップS26において、姿勢制御部51は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を駆動して、重心Gを前に移動する。すると、前傾姿勢T2の前傾方向への傾斜角θが大きくなる。姿勢制御部51は、移動速度において倒立状態を維持できるように重心Gの位置を制御する。上記移動時処理により、荷役用移動体10は倒立状態を維持しながら移動する。その後、荷役用移動体10は、荷下ろし位置で静止できるように移動速度を下げていくため、重心Gを後ろに移動する減速処理を行い、荷役用移動体10が荷下ろし位置まで到達すると、制御装置50は、移動時処理を終了する。その後、荷役用移動体10は、制御装置50の制御によって、荷Wを下ろす。
 [実施形態の効果]
 上記第1の実施形態によれば、以下のような効果を得ることができる。
 (1-1)荷役用移動体10は、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持した状態で倒立できる。また、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持した状態で荷役用移動体10を倒立させる前、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gを後ろに移動させる。これにより、姿勢制御部51は、荷役用移動体10にカウンタウエイトを擬似的に形成した状態を作り出すことができる。よって、荷役用移動体10は、カウンタウエイトを車体11とは別に必要とする場合と比べると、車体11を動かすときに加わるトルクを小さくできるため、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27が必要とする出力を小さくできる。よって、荷役用移動体10は、カウンタウエイトを必要とせず、かつ右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を小型化できるため、荷役用移動体10を小型化できる。
 (1-2)姿勢制御部51による制御によって擬似的に作り出したカウンタウエイトにより、荷Wをフォーク45によって支持する前に、車体11を予め後傾させておくことができる。そして、実際に、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持したとき、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gを移動させて、荷役用移動体10を倒立させるが、荷役用移動体10の倒立のために実施される重心Gの移動量、つまりは右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を駆動させる量を少なくできる。よって、荷役用移動体10は、カウンタウエイトを用いなくても、荷役用移動体10を倒立させつつ、倒立させるために右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を駆動させる量、すなわち荷役用移動体10の前進する量も少なくできる。よって、荷Wを支持した荷役用移動体10を倒立させる際、荷役用移動体10が荷置き台100と干渉することを抑制できる。
 (1-3)荷役用移動体10は、車体11そのものを右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25によって揺動させることによって、荷役用移動体10の重心Gを前後方向Xへ移動させることができる。つまり、車体11を揺動させることによって、荷役用移動体10は倒立できる。このため、荷役用移動体10は、カウンタウエイトのような重量物を車体11と別に必要としなくても、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25によって荷役用移動体10の倒立及び移動を可能にする。その結果、カウンタウエイトを車体11とは別に必要とする場合と比べると、車体11を動かす時に加わるトルクを小さくできるため、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27に必要とする出力を小さくできる。よって、カウンタウエイトを必要とせず、かつ右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25を小型化できるため、荷役用移動体10を小型化できる。
 (1-4)姿勢制御部51は、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持する前に通信部56の出力した荷重信号を取得する。そして、姿勢制御部51は、モーメント及び各駆動モータ22,27の駆動量を、荷Wをフォーク45で支持する前に導出する。例えば、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持すると同時に、姿勢制御部51が荷重信号を取得して、モーメント及び各駆動モータ22,27の駆動量を導出する場合と比べると、荷役用移動体10を倒立させるまでに要する時間を短縮できる。
 (1-5)移動時処理によって、荷役用移動体10は、荷役状態及び非荷役状態のいずれにおいても、倒立状態を維持できる。特に、荷役状態では、荷Wを水平に支持した状態を保ちながら移動できる。
 (1-6)車体11は、バッテリ33、制御装置50、筐体35、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25を機台12に一体化して形成されている。このため、これらバッテリ33、制御装置50、筐体35、機台12、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25は、全て一体で車体11として揺動する。
 例えば、バッテリ33、制御装置50、筐体35、及び機台12を車体とするとともに、この車体を右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25で揺動させる場合を比較例とする。比較例では、車体と、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25とを関節で結合する必要があるとともに、車体と、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25とを加味して車体の姿勢を制御する必要がある。この比較例に対し、本実施形態の荷役用移動体10は、車体11と、右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25とを結合する関節を減らすことができる。さらに、比較例と異なり、荷役用移動体10は、車体11のみを揺動させればよいため、比較例と比べて姿勢制御が容易となる。
 (第2の実施形態)
 次に、荷役用移動体を具体化した第2の実施形態を図12~図15にしたがって説明する。なお、第2の実施形態は、第1の実施形態を変更したのみの構成であるため、同様の部分についてはその詳細な説明を省略する。
 図12及び図13に示すように、荷役用移動体10は、荷役装置40として、荷役モータ42と、荷役用エンコーダ43と、荷役バー44と、フォーク45と、左右で一対のアーム60と、を備える。アーム60は、フォーク45に連結される。荷役装置40は、アーム60の形状を調節することでフォーク45の高さを調節自在とする。荷役装置40は、調節された高さでフォーク45を揺動させることで荷Wをフォーク45によって支持する。したがって、荷役装置40は、荷Wを支持するフォーク45と、フォーク45を揺動可能に支持するアーム60と、を備える。
 第2の実施形態において、バッテリ33及び制御装置50は、第2主面122における左右方向Yの中央部に、重力方向Zに重ねて配置されている。筐体35は、第2主面122における左右方向Yの中央部に配置されている。機台12の第2主面122と、筐体35の内面とによって囲まれた空間は、収容空間Sである。重ねて配置されたバッテリ33及び制御装置50は、収容空間Sに収容されている。
 一対のアーム60の各々は、第1関節61と、第2関節62と、第3関節63と、第1リンク64と、第2リンク65と、を備える。つまり、一対のアーム60の各々は、複数のリンク64,65と、リンク64,65同士を連結する関節61,62と、を備える。一対のアーム60の各々は、関節61,62によって連結されたリンク64,65同士の相対角度を変更可能である。
 第1関節61、第2関節62及び第3関節63の各々は、回転自在な関節である。第1リンク64及び第2リンク65は棒状の剛体である。第1リンク64は、第2リンク65よりも短い。
 一対の第1関節61の一方は、筐体35よりも左右方向Yの外側にて第2主面122に設置されるとともに、一対の第1関節61の他方は、筐体35よりも左右方向Yの外側にて第2主面122に設置されている。一対の第1関節61は、筐体35を左右方向Yの両側から挟んでいる。一対の第1関節61は、筐体35の重力方向Z上側の面よりも重力方向Zにおいて軸線L側に位置している。第1関節61は、第1関節モータ61a及び第1エンコーダ61bを備える。第1リンク64の第1端部64aは、第1関節61に連結されている。第1関節モータ61aが駆動すると、第1関節61を介して第1リンク64が揺動する。これにより、アーム60が揺動する。
 第1リンク64の第2端部64bは、第2関節62を介して第2リンク65の第1端部65aに連結されている。第2関節62は、第2関節モータ62a及び第2エンコーダ62bを備える。第2関節モータ62aが駆動すると、第2関節62を介して第2リンク65が揺動する。第2リンク65が揺動すると、第1リンク64と第2リンク65の相対角度が変化する。このように、第1リンク64と第2リンク65とで相対角度を変更することにより、アーム60を伸ばしたり、曲げたりすることができる。
 第2リンク65の第2端部65bは、第3関節63を介してフォーク45に連結されている。第3関節63は、荷役モータ42及び荷役用エンコーダ43を備える。荷役モータ42が駆動すると、第3関節63を介してフォーク45が揺動する。フォーク45が揺動すると、第2リンク65に対するフォーク45の相対角度が変化する。一対のフォーク45は、荷役バー44によって一体化されている。
 一対のアーム60の各々は、先端部60bと、当該先端部60bとは反対側の基端部60aを備える。基端部60aは、第1リンク64の第1端部64aである。先端部60bは、第2リンク65の第2端部65bである。したがって、一対のアーム60の各々は、アーム60の先端部60bを形成する第2リンク65と、アーム60の基端部60aを形成する第1リンク64を備える。また、一対のアーム60の先端部60bの各々にフォーク45が連結されている。したがって、フォーク45は、アーム60の先端部60bを形成する第2リンク65に揺動可能に連結されている。
 アーム60の基端部60aは、筐体35の重力方向Z上側の面よりも重力方向Zにおいて軸線L側に配置されている。具体的には、アーム60の基端部60aは、筐体35の重力方向Z上側の面よりも重力方向Z下側にて機台12の第2主面122の直近に配置されている。
 第2の実施形態において、操作者は、入力部55を操作して位置指令値としてパレット孔101aの高さを入力する。パレット孔101aの高さは、パレット孔101aにフォーク45を差し込むことのできる高さである。パレット孔101aの高さは、パレット101の載置されている面に応じて変化する。パレット101の載置されている面としては、床面、棚の上面、トラックの荷台の上面等である。
 図14に示すように、制御装置50は、第1実施形態の構成に加え、アーム制御部54を備える。アーム制御部54には、第1関節モータ61a、第2関節モータ62a、第1エンコーダ61b、及び第2エンコーダ62bが接続されている。
 入力部55は、アーム制御部54に対し、入力されたアーム指令値を出力する。アーム指令値は、アーム60の角度を制御するための指令値である。アーム制御部54は、アーム指令値に従って、第1関節モータ61a及び第2関節モータ62aの駆動を制御して、第1関節61及び第2関節62を回転させることによって、アーム60の角度を制御する。
 アーム制御部54は、第1エンコーダ61b及び第2エンコーダ62bの検出した検出信号を取得する。アーム制御部54は、取得した検出信号に基づいて、第1関節モータ61a及び第2関節モータ62aの回転角を検出する。アーム制御部54は、パレット孔101aの高さに基づいて第1関節モータ61a及び第2関節モータ62aの駆動を制御する。これにより、一対のアーム60の角度は、パレット孔101aの高さに応じて変化する。具体的には、アーム60は、パレット孔101aの高さに応じて、一直線状に延びる形状や、第1リンク64と第2リンク65が二条に折り畳まれた形状や、アーム60を屈曲させた形状を取り得る。
 荷役制御部53は、アーム制御部54によって調節されたアーム60の角度に応じて荷役モータ42の駆動を制御する。つまり、荷役制御部53は、フォーク45を基準位置、ティルトアップ位置、又はティルトダウン位置に調節する。
 アーム制御部54によってアーム60の角度が調節されると、車体11の重心Gの位置が移動する。例えば、フォーク45が車体11の前方に位置するようにアーム60を屈曲させると、重心Gは前方に移動する。そして、姿勢制御部51は、アーム60の形状、及びフォーク45の位置に応じて、荷役作業時は、重心Gを移動させる。つまり、姿勢制御部51は、図5に示す処理を実行して重心Gを移動させる。
 すると、図15に示すように、荷役用移動体10は、荷役状態において、基準姿勢T1で倒立するか、図16に示すように、前傾姿勢T2で倒立するか、図示しないが、後傾姿勢T3で倒立する。
 また、図13に示すように、荷役用移動体10は、非荷役状態において、アーム制御部54によって、アーム60を鉛直方向に真っ直ぐな形状に制御しつつ、姿勢制御部51によって車体11を基準姿勢T1にすることができる。
 図17に示すように、走行面に載置されたパレット101に荷Wが載置されている場合がある。この場合、アーム制御部54は、走行面でのパレット孔101aの高さに基づいて、第1関節モータ61a、第2関節モータ62a及び荷役モータ42を駆動する。これにより、フォーク45の位置がパレット孔101aに差込可能な位置に制御される。
 この場合、第1関節モータ61aによる第1関節61の駆動によって、第1リンク64の第2端部64b及び第2リンク65の第1端部65aは、筐体35より後方に位置する。また、第2関節モータ62aによる第2関節62の駆動によって、第2リンク65の第2端部65bは、筐体35より前方、かつ走行面の近くに位置する。さらに、荷役モータ42によるフォーク45の揺動によって、フォーク45は、当該フォーク45の下面が走行面に沿うように位置する。このように、アーム60が二条に折り畳まれることによって、走行面に載置されたパレット101のパレット孔101aにフォーク45を差し込むことができるとともに、荷Wをフォーク45によって支持できる。そして、車体11を前傾姿勢T2にすることで、荷役用移動体10は倒立する。
 [実施形態の効果]
 従って、第2の実施形態によれば、第1の実施形態に記載の(1-1)~(1-6)の効果に加えて以下の効果を得ることができる。
 (2-1)荷役用移動体10は、荷役装置40として一対のアーム60を備えるため、パレット孔101aの高さにフォーク45の高さを調節できる。そして、アーム60の角度によって重心Gの位置が変化しても、姿勢制御部51によって重心Gの位置を移動させることで荷役用移動体10は倒立できる。
 (2-2)荷役用移動体10は、アーム60の基端部60aから先端部60bまでの長さを利用して、フォーク45を車体11から離れた位置まで移動できる。そして、フォーク45を揺動させることによって、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持できる。よって、例えば、荷役装置40をフォーク45だけとする場合と比べると、アーム60を備えることにより、車体11の周りにおいてフォーク45によって荷取り又は荷下ろしできる範囲を、前後方向X、左右方向Y及び重力方向Zに広げることができる。
 (2-3)アーム60は、第1リンク64及び第2リンク65を備えるとともに、第1関節61及び第2関節62を備える。第1リンク64と第2リンク65の相対角度を変更することで、アーム60を曲げたり、伸ばしたりすることができる。そして、アーム60の形状を変化させて、フォーク45の高さを調節できるため、フォーク45で支持できる荷Wの高さの範囲を広げることができる。また、アーム60は、二条に折り畳んだ形状にできる。したがって、アーム60を1本の剛体の棒状とする場合と比べると、アーム60を折り畳むことによって全長を短くできるため、荷役用移動体10を前後方向Xに小型化できる。
 (2-4)アーム60の基端部60aは、機台12の第2主面122に近付くように、筐体35における重力方向Z上側の面よりも重力方向Zにおいて軸線L側に配置されている。具体的には、アーム60の基端部60aが軸線Lにより近付くように、基端部60aは、第2主面122に近付けて配置されている。これにより、アーム60の基端部60aが、筐体35の重力方向Z上側の面よりも重力方向Z上側にある場合等と比べると、荷役用移動体10の重心Gを低くできるため、荷役用移動体10を安定できる。
 [変更例]
 本実施形態は、以下のように変更して実施することができる。本実施形態及び以下の変更例は、技術的に矛盾しない範囲で互いに組み合わせて実施することができる。
 ○フォーク45によって荷Wを支持した状態から、荷Wを開放してフォーク45によって荷Wを支持していない状態に変化させる前、具体的には、荷下ろしの前にも、姿勢制御部51は、荷Wの重量に係る情報に基づいて重心Gを移動させてもよい。この場合、姿勢制御部51は、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持していない状態で荷役用移動体10を倒立させるべく、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27によって車体11を揺動させて荷役用移動体10の重心Gを前後方向に移動させている。具体的には、姿勢制御部51は、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持した状態から荷Wを開放して荷Wを支持していない状態に変化させる前に、重心Gを揺動中心である軸線Lよりも前に移動させる。
 姿勢制御部51は、荷Wの重量に係る情報としての荷重信号を事前に取得している。また、姿勢制御部51は、取得した荷重信号に基づいて、荷Wをフォーク45で支持したときに発生するモーメントを導出しているとともに、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27の駆動量も導出している。なお、荷重信号は、荷下ろしする時点で取得してもよい。つまり、荷Wをフォーク45から開放したときに発生するモーメントを、荷下ろしする時点で導出するとともに、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27の駆動量も導出してもよい。
 荷下ろし時の荷役処理を詳細に説明する。
 荷役用移動体10は、移動経路に沿って移動して荷下ろし位置まで移動すると、図18に示すフローチャートに従って荷役処理を開始する。なお、荷役用移動体10は、車体11が基準姿勢T1にあるとともに、フォーク45は基準位置にある。位置制御部52は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27の駆動を制御して、荷下ろし位置で荷役用移動体10を前進させる。そして、荷役用移動体10は、荷下ろし位置である、荷置き台100における載置面100aの上方にフォーク45を位置させる(ステップS31)。
 次に、姿勢制御部51は、荷重信号に基づいて導出した右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27の駆動量で、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動させる。つまり、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gを、揺動中心である軸線Lより前に移動させる(ステップS32)。その結果、荷Wをフォーク45によって支持した状態から荷Wを支持しない状態に変化させる前に、擬似的に形成されたカウンタウエイトによって、車体11が前進するとともに、前傾する。なお、パレット101の下面は、荷置き台100の載置面100aに接触していない。
 次に、荷役制御部53は、荷役モータ42を駆動して、一対のフォーク45をティルトダウン位置に配置する(ステップS33)。このとき、車体11の傾きは変化していない。パレット101の下面が載置面100aに接触するとともに、パレット101が載置面100aに載置される。すると、フォーク45に荷Wが支持されなくなるため、重心Gが前後方向Xに沿って後ろへ移動する。
 計測部51aは、車体11の傾斜角θを計測する。また、姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの計測した傾斜角θに係る検出信号を取得する。姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、重心Gが、軸線Lより後ろにあるか否かを判定する(ステップS34)。重心Gが、軸線Lより後ろにあると判定した場合(ステップS34でYES)、姿勢制御部51は、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動して車体11を前に傾ける(ステップS35)。このとき、荷役制御部53は、フォーク45を基準位置に戻す。
 次に、姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、重心Gが安定したか否かを判定する(ステップS36)。姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが安定したと判定した場合(ステップS36でYES)、荷役処理を終了する。その結果、重心Gの位置が調節されるとともに、フォーク45の上面45aから荷Wが開放された状態において、荷役用移動体10は静止する。つまり、荷役用移動体10は、基準姿勢T1で倒立する。
 一方、図18に示すように、重心Gが、揺動中心である軸線Lより後ろに移動していない場合(ステップS34でNO)、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが軸線Lより前にあるか否かを判定する(ステップS37)。姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが軸線Lより前にあると判定した場合(ステップS37でYES)、右輪駆動部21の右輪駆動モータ22、及び左輪駆動部25の左輪駆動モータ27を同期して駆動して、車体11を後ろに傾ける(ステップS38)。すると、荷役用移動体10は、前傾量を少なくする。なお、荷役制御部53は、フォーク45を基準位置に戻す。
 次に、姿勢制御部51は、計測部51aの検出信号に基づいて、重心Gが安定したか否かを判定する(ステップS36)。姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが安定したと判定した場合(ステップS36でYES)、荷役処理を終了する。その結果、重心Gの位置が調節されるとともに、フォーク45の上面45aから荷Wが開放された状態において、荷役用移動体10は静止する。つまり、荷役用移動体10は、基準姿勢T1で倒立する。
 一方、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが軸線Lより前にない場合(ステップS37でNO)、姿勢制御部51は、ステップS36に移行する。そして、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gが安定したと判定した場合(ステップS36でYES)、荷役処理を終了する。この場合、重心Gの位置は、予め軸線Lより前に移動させながらも、荷下ろしによって後ろへ移動することによって、重心Gが軸線Lの真上に位置している場合である。このため、荷役用移動体10は、静止する。つまり、荷役用移動体10は、基準姿勢T1で倒立する。
 したがって、荷下ろし時であっても、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持している状態と、フォーク45によって荷Wを支持していない状態とに変化するときで想定される重心Gの移動を相殺した状態を、姿勢制御部51による制御によって擬似的に作り出すことができる。つまり、荷役用移動体10は、姿勢制御部51の制御により、荷役用移動体10がカウンタウエイトを備えている状態を擬似的に作り出すことができる。
 そして、実際に、荷Wを開放したとき、姿勢制御部51によって重心Gを移動させて、荷Wを支持していない状態で荷役用移動体10を倒立させるが、その倒立のために実施される重心Gの移動量を少なくできる。よって、荷役用移動体10は、カウンタウエイトを用いなくても、荷役用移動体10を倒立させつつ、倒立させるために右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27を駆動させる量も減らすことができる。
 したがって、カウンタウエイトのような重量物を車体11と別に必要としなくても、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27によって荷役用移動体10の倒立及び移動を可能にする。その結果、カウンタウエイトを車体11とは別に必要とする場合と比べると、車体11を動かす時に右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27に加わるトルクを小さくできるため、右輪駆動モータ22及び左輪駆動モータ27が必要とする出力を小さくできる。よって、荷役用移動体10を小型化できる。
 荷役装置40は、荷役モータ42や荷役バー44に配置された荷重センサを備えていてもよい。この荷重センサは、フォーク45に荷Wを支持すると同時又は、支持する前に、荷Wに接触する。また、荷重センサは、姿勢制御部51に信号接続されている。そして、フォーク45に荷Wを支持すると同時又は支持する前に、荷重センサに荷Wを接触させて、荷重センサによって荷Wの重量に係る荷重信号を出力させてもよい。荷重センサの出力した荷重信号は、姿勢制御部51によって取得される。そして、姿勢制御部51は、荷重信号に応じて、荷役用移動体10の重心Gを移動させてもよい。この場合、制御装置50は、通信部56を備えていなくてもよい。
 荷役用移動体10によって繰り返し搬送する荷Wの重量が同じ場合、荷Wをフォーク45で支持したときに発生するモーメントは、繰り返し搬送される間はほぼ一定である。この場合は、一義に定まる荷Wの重量から、発生するモーメントを導出しつつ、重心Gを移動させるための各駆動モータ22,27の駆動量を導出して、姿勢制御部51に予め入力しておいてもよい。この場合、制御装置50は、通信部56を備えていなくてもよい。
 荷役用移動体10によって繰り返し搬送する荷Wの重量が、一定範囲内に収まる場合、それら荷Wの重量の平均値を導出しておく。そして、平均値から、発生するモーメントを導出しつつ、重心Gを移動させるための各駆動モータ22,27の駆動量を導出して、姿勢制御部51に予め入力しておいてもよい。この場合、制御装置50は、通信部56を備えていなくてもよい。
 第1実施形態のステップS14、ステップS16、及びステップS17において、姿勢制御部51は、重心Gの前後の判定を軸線Lより前後にあるか否かで判定してもよい。
 図19に示すように、荷役用移動体10の荷役装置40は、アーム60を1本だけ備えていてもよい。この場合、バッテリ33と制御装置50は、第2主面122の左右方向Yの両側に分かれて配置されている。バッテリ33及び制御装置50の各々は、個別に筐体35に収容されている。アーム60は、バッテリ33を収容した筐体35と、制御装置50を収容した筐体35との間に設置されている。機台12には、アーム60を通過させるためのスリット12aが左右方向Yの中央部に形成されている。アーム60は、第2の実施形態の一方のアーム60と同様に、第1関節61と、第2関節62と、第1リンク64と、第2リンク65と、を備える。第2リンク65の第2端部65bには、第1の実施形態と同様に荷役モータ42が支持されている。そして、荷役モータ42から一対の荷役バー44が延在するとともに、荷役バー44にフォーク45が連結されている。
 このように構成した場合、第2関節62によってアーム60を屈曲させて、フォーク45を走行面に近付けたとき、第2リンク65は、スリット12aに入り込む。これにより、機台12の左右方向Yの中央部にアーム60が設けられていても、走行面に載置された荷Wをフォーク45で支持できる。
 図20に示すように、アーム60は、第1関節61と、第2関節62と、第3関節63と、第4関節67と、第1リンク64と、第2リンク65と、第3リンク66と、を備えていてもよい。第1関節61、第2関節62、第3関節63及び第4関節67の各々は、回転自在な関節である。
 第3リンク66の第1端部66aは、第3関節63を介して第2リンク65の第2端部65bと連結されている。第3リンク66の第2端部66bは、第4関節67を介してフォーク45と連結されている。一対のアーム60の各々は、先端部60bと、当該先端部60bとは反対側の基端部60aを備える。基端部60aは、第1リンク64の第1端部64aである。先端部60bは、第3リンク66の第2端部66bである。
 したがって、一対のアーム60の各々は、アーム60の先端部60bを形成する第3リンク66と、アーム60の基端部60aを形成する第1リンク64を備える。また、一対のアーム60の先端部60bの各々にフォーク45が連結されている。したがって、フォーク45は、アーム60の先端部60bに揺動可能に連結されている。
 このように構成した場合、第3リンク66を第2リンク65に対して揺動させることにより、フォーク45の高さを、走行面より一段下にある載置面に位置させることができる。
 第2の実施形態のアーム60、図19、及び図20に示す形態のアーム60において、先端部60bを形成するリンクそのものを、互いにスライド自在なリンク形成部材を複数連結した構造としてもよい。このように構成した場合、アーム60の先端部60bにおいて、複数のリンク形成部材を相対的に伸縮させることができるため、フォーク45の高さをさらに微調節できる。
 アーム制御部54は、フォーク45の位置に基づいてアーム60の角度を制御しつつ、荷役制御部53は、アーム60の角度に基づいてフォーク45の位置を制御してもよい。この場合、入力部55は、荷役用エンコーダ43の検出した回転角に係る検出信号を取得するとともに、第1エンコーダ61b及び第2エンコーダ62bの検出した回転角に係る検出信号を取得する。入力部55は、取得した各回転角の検出信号に基づいて、アーム制御部54にアーム指令値を入力するとともに、荷役制御部53に荷役指令値を入力する。
 アーム60を形成するリンクの長さは、任意に変更可能である。
 アーム60において、フォーク45と連結される関節は、フォーク45を360度回転自在に支持してもよい。
 フォーク45は、フォーク45の長手方向に荷Wを搬送自在とするコンベアを搭載していてもよい。また、フォーク45は、長手方向の中央部にてアーム60と連結されているのが好ましい。このように構成した場合、コンベアによってフォーク45の長手方向に荷Wを移動できる。
 各形態において、筐体35は無くてもよい。
 第2の実施形態において、右側のアーム60の基端部60aは右カバー29aの側面に連結されるとともに、左側のアーム60の基端部60aは左カバー29bの側面に連結されていてもよい。このように構成しても、アーム60の基端部60aは、筐体35の重力方向Z上側の面よりも重力方向Zにおいて軸線L側に配置されている。
 右駆動輪31及び左駆動輪32を一つの駆動モータで駆動させてもよい。この場合、機台12の第1主面121には、一つのカバーが設置されるとともに、そのカバーに駆動モータ及びエンコーダが収容される。よって、車体11は一つの駆動部を備える。
 右輪駆動部21及び左輪駆動部25は、一つのカバーに収容されていてもよい。
 筐体35の収容空間Sには、バッテリ33及び筐体35以外の重量物が収容されていてもよい。
 荷役装置40の支持部材は、フォーク45の代わりに、荷Wを吸着する吸着装置や、荷Wを把持するハンド装置としてもよい。要は、荷Wを搬送できれば、荷役装置40における支持部材の構成は適宜変更可能である。
 荷Wは、パレット101を介さずにフォーク45に直接支持されてもよい。
 駆動部は、モータ以外のアクチュエータであってもよい。

Claims (7)

  1.  倒立車輪型の荷役用移動体であって、
     左右一対の駆動輪と、
     前記左右一対の駆動輪の車軸と同軸の軸線を揺動中心に揺動可能な車体と、
     前記車体に支持される荷役装置であって、荷を支持する支持部材を備える前記荷役装置と、を備え、
     前記車体は、前記左右一対の駆動輪を駆動させる駆動部と、当該駆動部及び前記荷役装置の駆動を制御する制御装置と、前記駆動部及び前記荷役装置の電力源とを備え、
     前記制御装置は、前記駆動部の駆動を制御して、前記軸線を揺動中心に前記車体を揺動させることによって前記車体の姿勢を制御する姿勢制御部を備え、
     前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持した状態で前記荷役用移動体を倒立させるべく、前記駆動部によって前記車体を揺動させて前記荷役用移動体の重心を前後方向に移動させ、
     前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持した状態で前記荷役用移動体を倒立させる前に、前記荷役用移動体の前記重心を、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持していない状態よりも後ろに移動させる、荷役用移動体。
  2.  倒立車輪型の荷役用移動体であって、
     左右一対の駆動輪と、
     前記左右一対の駆動輪の車軸と同軸の軸線を揺動中心に揺動可能な車体と、
     前記車体に支持される荷役装置であって、荷を支持する支持部材を備える前記荷役装置と、を備え、
     前記車体は、前記左右一対の駆動輪を駆動させる駆動部と、当該駆動部及び前記荷役装置の駆動を制御する制御装置と、前記駆動部及び前記荷役装置の電力源とを備え、
     前記制御装置は、前記駆動部の駆動を制御して、前記軸線を揺動中心に前記車体を揺動させることによって前記車体の姿勢を制御する姿勢制御部を備え、
     前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持していない状態で前記荷役用移動体を倒立させるべく、前記駆動部によって前記車体を揺動させて前記荷役用移動体の重心を前後方向に移動させ、
     前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持した状態から前記荷を開放して前記荷を支持していない状態に変化させる前に、前記荷役用移動体の前記重心を、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持している状態よりも前に移動させる、荷役用移動体。
  3.  前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役装置によって前記荷を支持する前に、前記荷に係る荷重信号を予め取得する、請求項1又は2に記載の荷役用移動体。
  4.  倒立車輪型の荷役用移動体であって、
     左右一対の駆動輪と、
     前記左右一対の駆動輪の車軸と同軸の軸線を揺動中心に揺動可能な車体と、
     前記車体に支持される荷役装置であって、荷を支持する支持部材を備える前記荷役装置と、を備え、
     前記車体は、前記左右一対の駆動輪を駆動させる駆動部と、当該駆動部及び前記荷役装置の駆動を制御する制御装置と、前記駆動部及び前記荷役装置の電力源とを備え、
     前記制御装置は、前記駆動部の駆動を制御して、前記軸線を揺動中心に前記車体を揺動させることによって前記車体の姿勢を制御する姿勢制御部を備え、
     前記姿勢制御部は、前記荷役用移動体を倒立させるべく、前記駆動部によって前記車体を揺動させて前記荷役用移動体の重心を前後方向に移動させる、荷役用移動体。
  5.  前記荷役装置は、前記支持部材に連結されるアームを備え、前記アームは、先端部と、前記先端部とは反対側の基端部を備え、前記支持部材は、前記アームの先端部に揺動可能に連結されている、請求項4に記載の荷役用移動体。
  6.  前記アームは、複数のリンクと、前記リンク同士を連結する関節と、を備え、
     前記アームは、前記関節によって連結された前記リンク同士の相対角度を変更可能であるとともに、前記リンクとして、前記アームの先端部を形成するリンク、及び前記アームの基端部を形成するリンクを備え、
     前記支持部材は、前記アームの先端部を形成するリンクに揺動可能に連結されている、請求項5に記載の荷役用移動体。
  7.  前記車体は、前記制御装置及び前記電力源を収容する筐体を備え、前記アームの前記基端部は、前記筐体の重力方向上側の面よりも前記重力方向において前記車軸側に配置されている、請求項5又は6に記載の荷役用移動体。
