Definitions
- This disclosure relates to a powder supply device and a powder supply method.
- Patent Document 1 describes a powder pipette that accurately dispenses a predetermined amount of powder.
- This powder pipette is equipped with a tip that has an internal filter and a predetermined volume between the filter and the tip, a nozzle that detachably holds the tip, a vibrator that applies vibrations to the nozzle, and a suction and discharge mechanism that applies negative or positive pressure to the nozzle.
- the suction and discharge mechanism applies negative pressure to the nozzle, thereby sucking powder into the space between the filter and the tip, and the vibrator applies vibrations to the nozzle, thereby maintaining a constant bulk density of the powder sucked into the space between the filter and the tip. This allows the predetermined amount of powder to be accurately dispensed.
- the present disclosure therefore aims to provide a powder supplying device and powder supplying method that can supply minute amounts of powder.
- the powder supplying device disclosed herein is a powder supplying device that supplies powder and includes a linear member and a scraping member having an insertion hole through which the linear member is inserted.
- this powder supply device a linear member is inserted into the insertion hole of the scrubbing member. Powder is attached to the tip of the linear member, and when the linear member is moved in the pull-out direction relative to the scrubbing member to remove it from the insertion hole, the tip rubs against the scrubbing member, causing the powder to be scraped off from the tip.
- the adhesion of powder to the tip is caused by factors such as static electricity at the tip, the surface structure of the tip, and moisture on the surface of the tip, but the amount of powder that adheres to the tip is not large. Therefore, by moving the tip in the pull-out direction and scrubbing the powder off the tip with the scrubbing member, it is possible to supply a very small amount of powder.
- this powder supply device is capable of supplying a very small amount of powder, the amount of powder supplied does not necessarily have to be very small.
- the insertion hole may extend in a direction intersecting the horizontal direction.
- the powder scraped off from the tip of the linear member tends to fall downward.
- the scraping member may have a convex portion that bulges toward the opening of the insertion hole and forms an acute angle with the insertion hole.
- the scraping member has a convex portion that bulges toward the opening of the insertion hole and forms an acute angle with the insertion hole, so that when the linear member is moved in the withdrawal direction, the powder is more easily scraped off from the tip of the linear member.
- the linear member may have a tip portion to which powder is adhered, and the wire diameter of the tip portion may be 0.05 mm or more and 2 mm or less.
- the wire diameter of the tip portion is 0.05 mm or more and 2 mm or less, so that the area to which powder adheres can be reduced and a minute amount of powder can be adhered to the tip portion while preventing a decrease in the ease of manufacturing the tip portion.
- the gap between the linear member and the scraping member in the insertion hole may be 0 mm or more and 0.2 mm or less.
- the gap between the linear member and the scraping member in the insertion hole is 0 mm or more and 0.2 mm or less, thereby reducing the amount of powder remaining at the tip and suppressing variation in the amount of powder supplied.
- a gap of 0 mm between the linear member and the scraping member in the insertion hole means that there is no gap between the linear member and the scraping member in the insertion hole.
- the gap between the linear member and the scraping member in the insertion hole may be 0.2 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less.
- the gap between the linear member and the scraping member in the insertion hole is 0.2 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less, which prevents contamination caused by scraping of the linear member or the scraping member and prevents powder from entering the insertion hole.
- the linear member has a first linear portion that is inserted into the insertion hole and has a tip end of the linear member, and the first linear portion may be a metal rod.
- the first linear portion is a metal rod, the linear member can be easily moved in the direction of insertion and removal of the linear member from the insertion hole.
- the linear member has a first linear portion that is inserted into the insertion hole and has a tip end of the linear member, and the first linear portion may be a resin rod.
- the first linear portion is a resin rod, the linear member can be easily moved in the direction of insertion and removal of the linear member from the insertion hole.
- the linear member has a first linear portion that is inserted into the insertion hole and has a tip end of the linear member, and the first linear portion may be a thread.
- the first linear portion is a thread, the degree of freedom in arranging the linear member is improved.
- the powder supplying device described in any of [1] to [9] may further include a charging device that charges the tip portion. Because this powder supplying device includes a charging device that charges the tip portion, powder can be attached to the tip portion by electrostatic force.
- the charging device may charge the tip of the linear member, and the insertion hole may be formed from resin.
- the insertion hole is formed from resin, when the charging device charges the tip, the charge is less likely to move across the scraping member to the opposite side from the tip, making it easier for the charge to collect at the tip.
- the linear member may have a first linear portion inserted into an insertion hole and having a tip, the charging device may charge the entire first linear portion, and the insertion hole may be made of metal.
- the insertion hole is made of metal, when the charging device charges the entire first linear portion, the charge easily moves across the scrubbing member to the tip, making it easier for the charge to collect at the tip.
- the powder supplying device described in any of [10] to [12] may further include a static eliminator that eliminates static electricity from the tip. Because this powder supplying device includes a static eliminator that eliminates static electricity from the tip, even if powder adheres to the tip due to electrostatic force, the powder can be easily scraped off from the tip by eliminating static electricity from the tip using the static eliminator.
- the powder supply device described in any of [1] to [13] may further include a static eliminator that eliminates static electricity from at least the powder supply source, the tip of the linear member, and the powder supply destination.
- the static eliminator eliminates static electricity from at least the powder supply source, the tip of the linear member, and the powder supply destination, thereby preventing powder from adhering to the tip of the linear member due to unnecessary electrostatic force or powder from being rubbed off and remaining on the tip of the linear member. This further reduces variation in the amount of powder supplied.
- the powder supplying device described in any of [1] to [14] may further include an insertion/removal movement mechanism that moves the linear member in the insertion/removal direction of the linear member relative to the insertion hole.
- This powder supplying device includes an insertion/removal movement mechanism that moves the linear member in the insertion/removal direction of the linear member relative to the insertion hole. Therefore, by moving the linear member in the pushing direction (pushing the linear member into the insertion hole), powder can be adhered to the tip of the linear member, and by moving the linear member in the pulling direction (pulling the linear member out of the insertion hole), powder can be scraped off from the tip of the linear member.
- the pushing direction is one direction in the insertion/removal direction
- the pulling direction is the other direction in the insertion/removal direction.
- the powder supplying device described in [15] may further include a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the linear member and the scraping member in a horizontal direction. Because this powder supplying device includes a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the linear member and the scraping member in a horizontal direction, it is possible to adhere powder to the tip of the linear member and then supply the powder to a destination.
- the powder supplying device described in [15] may further include a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the powder supply source and the powder supply destination horizontally.
- This powder supplying device includes a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the powder supply source and the powder supply destination horizontally. Because this powder supplying device includes a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the powder supply source and the powder supply destination horizontally, the powder from the supply source can be attached to the tip of the linear member without moving the linear member horizontally, and the powder attached to the tip can be supplied to the destination. This suppresses vibrations occurring in the linear member, thereby preventing the powder from falling from the tip due to vibrations of the linear member before the powder is scraped off from the tip by the scraping member. This further reduces variation in the amount of powder supplied.
- the scraping member may have a nozzle portion that extends cylindrically along the linear member toward the opening of the insertion hole.
- the scraping member has a nozzle portion that extends cylindrically along the linear member. Therefore, for example, when supplying powder to a container as a supply destination, by inserting at least a portion of the nozzle portion into the container, the nozzle portion can function as a lid for the container. Therefore, when the scraping member scrapes off powder adhering to the linear member, the powder can be prevented from scattering outside the container.
- the powder supplying device described in [1] to [18] may further include a scrubbing member lifting mechanism that moves the scrubbing member in the vertical direction.
- This powder supplying device includes a scrubbing member lifting mechanism that moves the scrubbing member in the vertical direction, which allows the distance between the scrubbing member and the supply destination to be shortened without having to move the supply destination in the vertical direction. This prevents the powder scraped off from the linear member by the scrubbing member from scattering.
- the scrubbing member has a nozzle portion that extends cylindrically along the linear member toward the opening of the insertion hole, and the supply destination is a container
- the scrubbing member lifting mechanism by moving the scrubbing member in the vertical direction using the scrubbing member lifting mechanism, at least a portion of the nozzle portion can be inserted into and removed from the container without having to move the container in the vertical direction.
- the powder supplying device described in any of [1] to [19] may further include a linear member vibration imparting device that imparts vibrations to the linear member.
- This powder supplying device includes a linear member vibration imparting device that imparts vibrations to the linear member, and therefore can impart vibrations to the linear member to shake off the powder from the linear member. Therefore, for example, when rubbing off powder from the linear member with a rubbing member, imparting vibrations to the linear member to shake off the powder from the linear member can prevent powder from remaining on the linear member.
- the linear member vibration imparting device may have a vibrator attached to the linear member.
- the vibrator of the linear member vibration imparting device is attached to the linear member, so that vibrations can be imparted directly to the linear member. This makes it possible to more reliably shake off the powder from the linear member.
- the linear member vibrating device may have a vibrator attached to the scrubbing member.
- the vibrator of the linear member vibrating device is attached to the scrubbing member, so vibration can be indirectly applied to the linear member via the scrubbing member. Therefore, for example, even if a vibrator cannot be attached to the linear member, vibration can be applied to the linear member.
- the powder supplying device described in any of [1] to [22] may further include a supply source vibration imparting device that imparts vibration to the powder supply source.
- This powder supplying device includes a supply source vibration imparting device that imparts vibration to the powder supply source. Therefore, even if depressions occur on the surface of the powder at the supply source, the surface of the powder at the supply source can be smoothed by imparting vibration to the supply source. - the powder supply device described in any of [1] to [24] may further include a supply source stage that moves the powder supply source in the vertical direction.
- the supply source stage can move the powder supply source in the vertical direction, so that powder can be attached to the linear member without moving the linear member in the insertion/removal direction. This suppresses vibrations occurring in the linear member, and therefore prevents powder from falling from the linear member due to vibration of the linear member before the powder is scraped off from the linear member by the scraping member. This further reduces variation in the amount of powder supplied.
- the powder supplying device described in any of [1] to [25] may further include a supply destination stage that moves the powder supply destination in the vertical direction.
- the supply destination can be moved in the vertical direction by the supply destination stage, so the tip of the linear member can be brought closer to the supply destination without moving the linear member in the insertion/removal direction more than necessary. - the tip may be charged before the powder is attached to the tip, and the tip may be de-charged when the powder attached to the tip is rubbed off with the scrubbing member.
- the tip is charged before the powder is attached to the tip, and the tip is de-charged when the powder attached to the tip is rubbed off with the scrubbing member. This makes it easier to attach powder to the tip, and by moving the linear member in the direction of pulling it out of the insertion hole, the powder attached to the tip can be easily rubbed off.
- the supply destination may be a container, and after the tip is positioned above the container, the tip and part of the scraping member may be inserted into the container, and the linear member may then be moved in a pull-out direction to pull the linear member out of the insertion hole, thereby scraping off the powder adhering to the tip with the scraping member.

- the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 has a movement unit 53a that is attached to the upper-stage holding portion 52d so as to be movable in the insertion/extraction direction D, and a second drive unit 53b that moves the movement unit 53a in the insertion/extraction direction D relative to the upper-stage holding portion 52d.
- the movement unit 53a is attached to the upper-stage holding portion 52d by, for example, a ball screw, so that it is movable in the insertion/extraction direction D relative to the upper-stage holding portion 52d.
- a servo motor for example, can be used as the second drive unit 53b.
- the control device 6 controls the drive of the first drive unit 52b of the horizontal movement mechanism 52 and the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 in order to supply the powder B in the powder holding member A to the container C.
- the control device 6 is an electronic control unit having, for example, a CPU (Central Processing Unit), ROM (Read Only Memory), RAM (Random Access Memory), etc.
- the control device 6 performs various controls, for example, by loading programs stored in the ROM into the RAM and executing them on the CPU.
- FIGS 4 to 7 are schematic diagrams for explaining the powder supplying method according to this embodiment. Note that the control device 6 is not shown in Figures 4 to 8.
- the powder supplying method according to this embodiment is a method for supplying powder B in powder holding member A to container C using the powder supplying device 1 described above.
- the tip 21 of the linear member 2 is positioned above the powder holding member A by, for example, activating the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 and the first drive unit 52b of the horizontal movement mechanism 52.
- the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 is activated to move the linear member 2 in the pushing direction D1. This pushes the linear member 2 out of the insertion hole 31 toward the tip 21, causing some of the powder B in the powder holding member A to adhere to the tip 21. At this time, for example, the linear member 2 is lowered so that a small amount of powder B adheres to the tip 21. Note that as long as powder B can be adhered to the tip 21, the linear member 2 may be moved to a position where the tip 21 abuts against the powder B in the powder holding member A, or it is not necessary to move the linear member 2 to a position where the tip 21 abuts against the powder B in the powder holding member A.
- the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 is activated to move the linear member 2 in the withdrawal direction D2.
- the linear member 2 is moved so that the tip end 21, to which the powder B is attached, does not enter the insertion hole 31.
- the powder B attached to the tip end 21 is transported in the withdrawal direction D2.
- the first drive unit 52b of the horizontal movement mechanism 52 is activated to horizontally move the linear member 2 and scraping member 3 until the tip 21 to which the powder B is attached is positioned above the container C. This transports the powder B attached to the tip 21 to above the container C.
- a powder supply cycle is repeated multiple times in which an amount of powder B less than the predetermined amount is attached to the tip 21 of the linear member 2, the tip 21 is positioned above the container C, the linear member 2 is moved in the pulling direction D2, and the powder B attached to the tip 21 is scraped off by the scraping member 3 and supplied to the container C.
- the predetermined amount can be, for example, 50 ⁇ g ⁇ 20 ⁇ g, that is, 30 to 70 ⁇ g.
- the amount of powder supplied in one powder supply cycle can be, for example, 1 to 20 ⁇ g.
- the linear member 2 is inserted into the insertion hole 31 of the scrubbing member 3. Therefore, when powder B is attached to the tip 21 and the linear member 2 is moved in the withdrawal direction D2 relative to the scrubbing member 3, the tip 21 is rubbed against (handled by) the scrubbing member 3, and the powder B is scraped off from the tip 21.
- the adhesion of powder B to the tip 21 is caused by factors such as static electricity at the tip 21, the surface structure of the tip 21, and moisture on the surface of the tip 21, but the amount of powder B that adheres to the tip 21 is not large. Therefore, by moving the linear member 2 in the withdrawal direction D2 and scrubbing the powder B off the tip 21 with the scrubbing member 3, a minute amount of powder B can be supplied.
- the insertion hole 31 extends in a direction that intersects with the horizontal direction, making it easier for the powder B scraped off from the tip 21 to fall downward.
- the scraping member 3 has a convex portion 32 that bulges toward the opening of the insertion hole 31 and forms an acute angle with the insertion hole 31, making it easier for the powder B to be scraped off from the tip portion 21 when the linear member 2 is moved in the pulling-out direction D2.
- the wire diameter of the tip portion 21 is 2 mm or less, preferably 1 mm or less, and more preferably 0.1 mm or less, thereby reducing the area to which the powder B adheres and allowing a minute amount of the powder B to adhere to the linear member 2.
- the wire diameter of the tip portion 21 0.05 mm or more, a decrease in the ease of manufacturing the tip portion 21 can be prevented.
- the gap G between the linear member 2 and the scraping member 3 in the insertion hole 31 is 0 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less, preferably 0 mm or more and 0.2 mm or less, and more preferably 0 mm or more and 0.01 mm or less, thereby reducing the amount of powder B remaining at the tip 21 and suppressing variation in the amount of powder B supplied.
- the gap G between the linear member 2 and the scraping member 3 in the insertion hole 31 is 0.2 mm or more, preferably 0.25 mm or more, and more preferably 0.3 mm or more, thereby preventing contamination caused by scraping of the linear member 2 or the scraping member 3.
- the gap G between the linear member 2 and the scraping member 3 in the insertion hole 31 is 0.5 mm or less, preferably 0.45 mm or less, and more preferably 0.4 mm or less, thereby preventing powder B from entering the insertion hole 31.
- the first linear portion 22 is a metal rod or a resin rod, which makes it possible to easily move the linear member 2 in the insertion/removal direction D of the linear member 2 relative to the insertion hole 31.
- the first linear portion 22 is a thread, which improves the degree of freedom in the placement of the linear member 2.
- this powder supply device 1 is equipped with an insertion/removal movement mechanism 53 that moves the linear member 2 in the insertion/removal direction D. Therefore, by moving the linear member 2 in the pushing direction D1, powder B can be adhered to the tip 21, and by moving the linear member 2 in the pulling direction D2, powder B can be scraped off from the tip 21.
- this powder supplying device 1 is equipped with a horizontal movement mechanism 52 that moves the linear member 2 and the scraping member 3 horizontally, so that after the powder B adheres to the tip 21, the powder B can be supplied to the container C.
- the powder supply device 1 described above is used, powder B is attached to the tip 21 of the linear member 2, the tip 21 is positioned above the container C, and the linear member 2 is moved in the drawing direction D2, and the powder B attached to the tip 21 is scraped off by the scraping member 3, allowing a minute amount of powder B to be supplied.
- the powder supply device 1 described above is used, and an amount of powder B less than a predetermined amount is adhered to the tip 21 of the linear member 2, the tip 21 is positioned above the container C, the linear member 2 is moved in the pulling direction D2, and the powder B adhering to the tip 21 is scraped off by the scraping member 3 and supplied to the container C.
- This powder supply cycle is repeated multiple times, making it easier to supply the amount of powder B close to the predetermined amount compared to supplying a predetermined amount of powder B in one go.
- the second embodiment is basically the same as the first embodiment, but differs from the first embodiment in that it further includes a charging/de-electrifying device that charges the tip of the linear member to cause powder to adhere to the tip, and then de-electrifies the tip of the linear member to scrape the powder off the tip. Therefore, only the differences from the first embodiment will be described below, and a description of the same aspects as the first embodiment will be omitted.
- FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram of a powder supplying device according to the second embodiment.
- the powder supplying device 1A according to this embodiment includes a linear member 2A corresponding to the linear member 2 of the first embodiment, a scrubbing member 3, a stand 5, a control device 6, and a charging/de-ionizing device 7A.
- the linear member 2A has a first linear portion 22A, a second linear portion 23A, and a joint 24A.
- the first linear portion 22A is inserted into the insertion hole 31 of the scrubbing member 3 and is charged and de-ionized by the charging/de-ionizing device 7A.
- Powder B is attached to the tip 21A of the first linear portion 22A.
- the second linear portion 23A extends from the first linear portion 22A to the side opposite the tip 21A.
- the second linear portion 23A is held by the upper stage holding portion 52d of the stand 5 and is moved in the insertion/removal direction D by the insertion/removal movement mechanism 53.
- the joint 24A connects the second linear portion 23A and the first linear portion 22A in the insertion/removal direction D.
- the joint 24A is arranged, for example, between the middle stage support portion 52f and the scrubbing member 3.
- the first linear portion 22A is formed from, for example, a resin such as acrylic, polyacetal resin, polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, nylon, PTFE, PEEK, or PMMA, a metal such as stainless steel, or ceramics.
- the second linear portion 23A is formed from, for example, a metal such as stainless steel.
- the joint 24A is formed from a resin such as acrylic, polyacetal resin, polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, nylon, PTFE, PEEK, or PMMA.
- the charging/de-ionizing device 7A functions both as a charging device that charges the tip portion 21A and as a de-ionizing device that de-ionizes the tip portion 21A.
- the charging/de-ionizing device 7A charges the tip portion 21A by applying a negative or positive charge to the tip portion 21A. If the inner tube 33 of the scrubbing member 3 is made of resin, the charge applied to the tip portion 21A is less likely to move beyond the inner tube 33 toward the second linear portion 23A, making it easier for the charge to collect at the tip portion 21A.
- the charging/de-ionizing device 7A de-ionizes the charged tip portion 21A by applying an opposite charge to the tip portion 21A.
- the charging/de-ionizing device 7A is driven and controlled by the control device 6.
- the charging/de-ionizing device 7A charges the tip portion 21A when the tip portion 21A is positioned above the powder holding member A, and de-ionizes the tip portion 21A when the tip portion 21A is positioned above the container C. For this reason, the charging/de-ionizing device 7A is positioned so that it can charge or de-ionize the tip portion 21A in these positions.
- the charging/de-ionizing device 7A may be held by the rotating part 52a of the stand 5, or may be held by a member separate from the stand 5.
- Figures 10 to 14 are schematic diagrams for explaining the powder supplying method according to this embodiment. Note that the control device 6 is not shown in Figures 10 to 14.
- the powder supplying method according to this embodiment is a method of supplying powder B in powder holding member A to container C using the powder supplying device 1A described above.
- the tip portion 21A is positioned above the powder holding member A by operating the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 and the first drive unit 52b of the horizontal movement mechanism 52. Then, the tip portion 21A is charged by applying a negative or positive charge to it from the charging/de-electrifying device 7A.
- the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 is activated to move the second linear portion 23A in the pushing direction D1. This pushes the first linear portion 22A out of the insertion hole 31 toward the tip portion 21A, causing a portion of the powder B in the powder holding member A to adhere to the tip portion 21A of the first linear portion 22A. At this time, since the tip portion 21A is in a charged state, the powder B adheres to the tip portion 21A due to electrostatic force.
- the linear member 2A may be moved to a position where the tip portion 21A abuts the powder B in the powder holding member A, or it is not necessary to move the linear member 2A to a position where the tip portion 21A abuts the powder B in the powder holding member A.
- the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 is activated to move the second linear portion 23A in the withdrawal direction D2.
- the second linear portion 23A is moved so that the tip end 21A of the first linear portion 22A, to which the powder B is attached, does not enter the insertion hole 31.
- the powder B attached to the tip end 21A of the first linear portion 22A is transported in the withdrawal direction D2.
- the first drive unit 52b of the horizontal movement mechanism 52 is activated to horizontally move the linear member 2A and the scraping member 3 until the tip 21A to which the powder B is attached is positioned above the container C. This transports the powder B attached to the tip 21A to above the container C.
- the tip portion 21A is neutralized by irradiating it with an opposite charge from the charging/neutralizing device 7A. Then, the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 is activated to move the second linear portion 23A in the withdrawal direction D2. At this time, the second linear portion 23A is moved until at least a portion of the tip portion 21A to which powder B is attached enters the insertion hole 31.
- Figure 14 shows a state in which the second linear portion 23A has been moved until the entire tip portion 21A to which powder B is attached enters the insertion hole 31. Note that neutralization of the tip portion 21A and movement of the second linear portion 23A in the withdrawal direction D2 may be performed simultaneously.
- the second linear portion 23A may be moved in the withdrawal direction D2 while neutralizing the tip portion 21A.
- the scraping member 3 may scraped off by the scraping member 3 and supplied to the container C.
- the powder supplying device 1A is equipped with a charging/de-ionizing device 7A that charges the tip portion 21A, allowing the powder B to adhere to the tip portion 21A by electrostatic force.
- this powder supply device 1A is equipped with a charging/de-ionizing device 7A that de-ionizes the tip portion 21A. Therefore, even if powder B adheres to the tip portion 21A due to electrostatic force, the powder B can be easily scraped off from the tip portion 21A by de-ionizing the tip portion 21A with the charging/de-ionizing device 7A.
- the powder supply device 1A described above is used.
- the tip portion 21A is charged before the powder B is attached to the tip portion 21A, and the tip portion 21A is de-electrified when the powder B attached to the tip portion 21A is rubbed off with the rub-off member 3. This makes it easier for the powder B to adhere to the tip portion 21A, and by moving the second linear portion 23A in the pull-out direction D2, the powder B attached to the tip portion 21A can be easily rubbed off.
- the third embodiment is basically the same as the first embodiment, but differs from the first embodiment in that it further includes a linear member vibration imparting device that imparts vibrations to a linear member and a supply source vibration imparting device that imparts vibrations to a supply source.
- a linear member vibration imparting device that imparts vibrations to a linear member
- a supply source vibration imparting device that imparts vibrations to a supply source.
- Figure 15 is a schematic diagram of a powder supplying device according to a third embodiment.
- the powder supplying device 1B according to this embodiment includes a linear member 2, a scraping member 3, a stand 5, a control device 6, a stage 11B, a linear member vibration imparting device 12B, and a supply source vibration imparting device 13B.
- Stage 11B is a platform on which powder holding member A, which is the supply source of powder B, is placed.
- Stage 11B may, for example, simply be a platform on which powder holding member A is placed, or may be a platform on which powder holding member A is placed by fitting it into a recess, or may be a platform on which powder holding member A is placed by sandwiching it.
- Linear member vibration imparting device 12B is a device that imparts vibration to linear member 2.
- Linear member vibration imparting device 12B has vibrator 121B, which serves as a vibration source. Vibrator 121B vibrates under drive control by control device 6 or the like. Vibrator 121B can be configured, for example, as a vibrator with an eccentric weight attached to the rotating shaft of a motor. Vibrator 121B is attached in a position where it can impart vibration to linear member 2. Vibrator 121B is attached, for example, to linear member 2, scraping member 3, or stand 5. In this embodiment, it will be described as if vibrator 121B is attached to linear member 2.
- the supply source vibration applying device 13B is a device that applies vibration to the powder holding member A, which is the supply source of the powder B.
- the supply source vibration applying device 13B has a vibrator 131B, which serves as the vibration source.
- the vibrator 131B can be configured, for example, as a vibrator with an eccentric weight attached to the rotating shaft of a motor.
- the vibrator 131B vibrates under drive control by the control device 6 or the like.
- the vibrator 131B is attached in a position where it can apply vibration to the powder holding member A.
- the vibrator 131B is attached, for example, to the stage 11B or the powder holding member A. In this embodiment, the vibrator 131B is described as being attached to the stage 11B.
- vibrating vibrator 131B of supply source vibration imparting device 13B imparts vibration to powder holding member A, making it possible to level the surface of powder B in powder holding member A.
- the timing for vibrating vibrator 131B of supply source vibration imparting device 13B to impart vibration to powder holding member A can be any timing between the time when powder B held in powder holding member A is attached to tip 21 of linear member 2 and the time when powder B held in powder holding member A is attached to tip 21 of linear member 2 in the next powder supply cycle.
- the timing for vibrating the vibrator 131B of the supply source vibration imparting device 13B to impart vibration to the powder holding member A can be immediately before the powder B held in the powder holding member A is attached to the tip 21 of the linear member 2, or immediately after the powder B held in the powder holding member A is attached to the tip 21 of the linear member 2.
- Figures 16 to 20 are schematic diagrams for explaining the powder supplying method according to a third embodiment. Note that the control device 6 is not shown in Figures 16 to 20.
- the powder supplying method according to this embodiment is a method of supplying powder B in powder holding member A to container C using the powder supplying device 1B described above.
- the tip 21 is positioned above the powder holding member A by, for example, activating the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 and the first drive unit 52b of the horizontal movement mechanism 52.
- the vibrator 131B of the supply source vibration imparting device 13B is vibrated to impart vibration to the powder holding member A. This causes the surface of the powder B on the powder holding member A to be leveled.
- the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 is activated to move the linear member 2 in the pushing direction D1.
- This pushes the linear member 2 out of the insertion hole 31 toward the tip 21, and some of the powder B in the powder holding member A adheres to the tip 21.
- the linear member 2 is lowered so that a small amount of powder B adheres to the tip 21.
- the linear member 2 may be moved to a position where the tip 21 abuts against the powder B in the powder holding member A, or it is not necessary to move the linear member 2 to a position where the tip 21 abuts against the powder B in the powder holding member A.
- the second drive unit 53b of the insertion/extraction movement mechanism 53 is activated to move the linear member 2 in the pushing direction D1. At this time, the linear member 2 is moved until the tip 21 to which the powder B is attached enters the container C.
- the vibrator 121B of the linear member vibration imparting device 12B is vibrated to impart vibration to the linear member 2 while moving the linear member 2 in the pulling direction D2.
- the linear member 2 is moved until at least a portion of the tip 21 to which the powder B is attached enters the insertion hole 31.
- the scraping member 3 and shaken off from the linear member 2 is supplied to the container C.
- the powder supplying device 1B is equipped with a linear member vibration imparting device 12B that imparts vibrations to the linear member 2, and therefore can impart vibrations to the linear member 2 to shake off the powder B from the linear member 2. Therefore, for example, when the scrubbing member 3 is used to scrape off the powder B from the linear member 2, imparting vibrations to the linear member 2 to shake off the powder from the linear member 2 can prevent the powder B from remaining on the linear member 2.
- the vibrator 121B of the linear member vibration imparting device 12B is attached to the linear member 2, so that vibrations can be imparted directly to the linear member 2. This makes it possible to more reliably shake off the powder B from the linear member 2.
- the vibrator 121B of the linear member vibration imparting device 12B is attached to the scrubbing member 3, so that vibration can be imparted to the linear member 2 indirectly via the scrubbing member 3. Therefore, for example, even if it is not possible to attach the vibrator 121B to the linear member 2, vibration can still be imparted to the linear member 2.
- this powder supply device 1B is equipped with a supply source vibration imparting device 13B that imparts vibration to the powder holding member A, which is the supply source of powder B. Therefore, even if there are depressions on the surface of powder B on powder holding member A, the surface of powder B on powder holding member A can be leveled by imparting vibration to powder holding member A. Therefore, even when powder B held on powder holding member A is adhered to linear member 2 multiple times, such as when performing multiple powder supply cycles, an appropriate amount of powder can be adhered to linear member 2.
- the vibrator 131B of the supply source vibration imparting device 13B is attached to the stage 11B on which the powder holding member A is placed, so vibrations can be imparted to the powder holding member A indirectly via the stage 11B. Therefore, for example, even if the vibrator 131B cannot be attached to the powder holding member A, vibrations can still be imparted to the powder holding member A.
- the scrubbing member may have a nozzle portion that extends cylindrically along a linear member toward the opening of the insertion hole.
- a scrubbing member lifting mechanism that moves the scrubbing member up and down may be provided.
- Figure 22 is a schematic diagram of a powder supplying device according to a modified example.
- the powder supplying device 1C of the modified example shown in Figure 22 is basically the same as the powder supplying device 1 of the above embodiment, and differs from the powder supplying device 1 of the above embodiment in that it includes a scrubbing member lifting mechanism that moves the scrubbing member up and down, but the structure of the scrubbing member is different.
- the powder supplying device 1C of the modified example includes a scrubbing member lifting mechanism 16 and a scrubbing member 3C that corresponds to the scrubbing member 3 of the above embodiment.
- the scrubbing member lifting mechanism 16 is a mechanism for moving the scrubbing member 3C in the up-down direction UD.
- the scrubbing member lifting mechanism 16 is attached, for example, to the pivoting part 52a of the horizontal movement mechanism 52, allowing the scrubbing member 3C to move horizontally as well as in the up-down direction UD.
- the scrubbing member lifting mechanism 16 includes, for example, a fixed part 16a fixed to the pivoting part 52a of the horizontal movement mechanism 52, a movable part 16b attached so as to be slidable in the up-down direction UD relative to the fixed part 16a, and a drive part 16c that slides the movable part 16b in the up-down direction UD relative to the fixed part 16a.
- An upper arm part 52c, a middle arm part 52e, and a lower arm part 52g are connected to the movable part 16b.
- the upper arm 52c, middle arm 52e, and lower arm 52g are attached to the rotating part 52a via the fixed part 16a and movable part 16b of the scrubbing member lifting mechanism 16. Therefore, when the movable part 16b slides in the up-down direction UD relative to the fixed part 16a, the upper holding part 52d, middle support part 52f, and scrubbing member 3 held by the upper arm 52c, middle arm 52e, and lower arm 52g can slide in the up-down direction UD.
- a linear guide can be used as the fixed part 16a and the movable part 16b.
- a servo motor can be used as the drive part 16c.
- Figure 23 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the scrubbing member in the powder supplying device shown in Figure 22.
- the scrubbing member 3C is basically the same as the scrubbing member 3 of the above embodiment, but differs from the scrubbing member 3 of the above embodiment in that it has a nozzle portion 35C instead of the protrusion 32.
- the nozzle portion 35C extends cylindrically along the linear member 2 toward the opening of the insertion hole 31.
- the nozzle portion 35C extends cylindrically toward the opening of the pair of openings of the insertion hole 31 that is on the side from which the powder B is scraped off (the pushing direction D1 side).
- the protrusion 32 of the first embodiment may be formed at the tip of the nozzle portion 35C.
- Figure 24 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing the state when powder adhering to the tip of the linear member is scraped off by a scraping member.
- a scraping member As shown in Figure 24, when using the scraping member 3C to scrape off powder B adhering to the tip 21 of the linear member 2, for example, at least a portion of the nozzle portion 35C is inserted into the container C. Then, by moving the linear member 2 in this state in the pulling-out direction D2, the powder B adhering to the tip 21 of the linear member 2 is scraped off by the scraping member 3C.
- the scraping member 3C has a nozzle portion 35C that extends cylindrically along the linear member 2. Therefore, when the scraping member 3C scrapes off the powder B adhering to the linear member 2 and supplies it to the container C, by inserting at least a portion of the nozzle portion 35C into the container C, the nozzle portion 35C can function as a lid for the container C. This prevents the powder B from scattering outside the container C when the scraping member 3C scrapes off the powder B adhering to the linear member 2. Note that when the linear member 2 is vibrated to shake off the powder B from the linear member 2, as in the third embodiment, the powder B is prone to scattering. However, by having the nozzle portion 35C function as a lid for the container C, it is possible to prevent the powder B from scattering outside the container C even in such cases.
- the powder supplying device 1C is equipped with a scrubbing member lifting mechanism 16 that moves the scrubbing member 3C in the up-down direction UD, so the distance between the scrubbing member 3C and the container C can be shortened without moving the container C in the up-down direction UD. This prevents the powder B scraped off from the linear member 2 by the scrubbing member 3C from scattering. Moreover, by moving the scrubbing member 3C in the up-down direction UD using the scrubbing member lifting mechanism 16, at least a portion of the nozzle portion 35C can be inserted into and removed from the container C without moving the container C in the up-down direction UD.
- the tip 21 of the linear member 2 and part of the nozzle portion 35C are inserted into the container C, allowing the nozzle portion 35C to function as a lid for the container C.
- the powder B can be prevented from scattering outside the container C.
- the horizontal movement mechanism was described as moving the nozzle horizontally by rotating the nozzle around the support, but the horizontal movement mechanism may move the nozzle horizontally along any trajectory as long as it can move the nozzle horizontally.
- the functions of the charging device and the static elimination device are realized by the charging/static elimination device, but the charging device and the static elimination device may be separate devices.
- the charging device was described as charging the tip end of the first linear portion, but the charging device may also be configured to charge the entire first linear portion, as in the powder supplying device 1D shown in Figure 25.
- the powder supplying device 1D shown in FIG. 25 is basically the same as the powder supplying device 1A according to the second embodiment, but differs from the powder supplying device 1A according to the second embodiment in that the charging device and the static eliminator are separate, and the charging device charges the entire first linear portion. Note that the control device 6 is not shown in FIG. 25.
- the powder supplying device 1D includes a charging device 71D and a static eliminator 72D corresponding to the charging/static eliminator 7A according to the second embodiment.
- the charging device 71D charges the entire first linear portion 22A by applying a negative or positive charge to the entire first linear portion 22A.
- the static eliminator 72D irradiates the tip portion 21A of the first linear portion 22A with an opposite charge, thereby eliminating static from the charged tip portion 21A of the first linear portion 22A.

- the inner tube 33 and outer tube 34 of the scrubbing member 3 are formed from a metal such as stainless steel.
- the second linear portion 23A is formed from a metal such as stainless steel.
- the first linear portion 22A is formed from a resin such as acrylic, polyacetal resin, polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, nylon, PTFE, PEEK, or PMMA, or a metal such as stainless steel.
- the joint 24A is formed from a resin such as acrylic, polyacetal resin, polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, nylon, PTFE, PEEK, or PMMA.
- the powder supplying method according to the second embodiment can be carried out in the same manner as described above, except for the method of charging and de-electrifying the first linear portion 22A.
- the first linear portion 22A is charged by applying a negative or positive charge from the charging device 71D to the entire first linear portion 22A before attaching powder B to the tip portion 21A. This charges the entire first linear portion 22A.
- the first linear portion 22A is de-electrified by applying an opposite charge from the de-electrifying device 72D to the tip portion 21A of the linear member 2A after attaching powder B to the tip portion 21A and positioning the tip portion 21A above the container C. Then, by moving the second linear portion 23A in the drawing direction D2, at least a portion of the powder B adhering to the tip portion 21A is scraped off by the scraping member 3 and supplied to the container C.
- the charging device was described as charging the tip of the first linear portion by irradiating it with an electric charge, but it may also be configured to charge the tip of the first linear portion by friction, as in the powder supplying device 1E shown in Figure 26.
- FIG. 26 is a schematic diagram of a powder supplying device according to a modified example.
- the powder supplying device 1E shown in FIG. 26 is basically the same as the powder supplying device 1A according to the second embodiment, but differs from the powder supplying device 1A according to the second embodiment in that the charging device and the de-electrification device are separate, and the charging device charges the tip end of the first linear portion through friction.
- the control device 6 is not shown in FIG. 26.

- the charging device 71E charges the tip end 21A of the first linear portion 22A through friction.
- the charging device 71E generates friction between the tip end 21A and the rotating plate, made of a resin such as polyethylene, PMMA, polyester, or nylon, by rotating the rotating plate while abutting against the tip end 21A, thereby charging the tip end 21A.

- the fitting 24A is formed from a resin such as acrylic, polyacetal resin, polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, nylon, PTFE, PEEK, PMMA, etc. If the inner tube 33 of the scraping member 3 is made of resin, the charge irradiated onto the tip 21A will be less likely to travel beyond the inner tube 33 toward the second linear portion 23A, making it easier for the charge to collect at the tip 21A.
- a resin such as acrylic, polyacetal resin, polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, nylon, PTFE, PEEK, PMMA, etc.
- the method can be the same as the powder supplying method according to the second embodiment, except for the method of charging and de-electrifying the tip portion 21A.
- Charging of the tip portion 21A is performed by frictionally charging the tip portion 21A using the charging device 71E before attaching powder B to the tip portion 21A. This charges the tip portion 21A.
- powder B is attached to the tip portion 21A, the tip portion 21A is positioned above the container C, and then a reverse charge is applied to the tip portion 21A from the de-electrifying device 72E, thereby de-electrifying the tip portion 21A.
- by moving the second linear portion 23A in the extraction direction D2 at least a portion of the powder B adhering to the tip portion 21A is scraped off by the scraping member 3 and supplied to the container C.
- the linear member was described as having a configuration in which a first linear portion and a second linear portion are connected by a joint, but the linear member may also be configured from a single member such as a rod or string.
- the powder supplying device may be equipped with a static eliminator that eliminates static electricity from at least the supply source, the tip of the linear member, and the supply destination.
- FIG 27 is a schematic diagram of a modified powder supply device viewed from above.
- the powder supply device 1F shown in Figure 27 comprises a linear member 2, a scrubbing member 3, a stand 5, a control device 6, a powder holding member A as the supply source, a container C as the supply destination, a static eliminator 8, and a housing 9.
- the static eliminator 8 is a device for eliminating static electricity from the entire powder supply device 1F.
- the static eliminator 8 is not particularly limited, but for example, an ionizer that emits ions can be used.
- the housing 9 houses the linear member 2, the scrubbing member 3, the stand 5, the control device 6, the powder holding member A, the container C, and the static eliminator 8. Note that the housing 9 does not necessarily have to house the control device 6.
- ions are emitted from the static eliminator 8, thereby eliminating static electricity from the linear member 2, the scraping member 3, the stand 5, the powder holding member A, the powder B in the powder holding member A, the container C, and the powder B supplied to the container C.
- the static eliminator 8 for example, eliminates static electricity from at least the powder holding member A, the tip 21 of the linear member 2, and the container C before performing the operation of supplying powder B (before performing the powder supply cycle).
- the static eliminator 8 neutralizes at least the powder holding member A, which is the supply source of powder B, the tip 21 of the linear member 2, and the container C, which is the supply destination of powder B. This prevents unnecessary electrostatic force from causing powder B to adhere to the tip 21 of the linear member 2 or powder B from remaining on the tip 21 of the linear member 2 without being rubbed off. This further reduces variation in the amount of powder B supplied.
- the linear member 2, scraping member 3, stand 5, powder holding member A which is the supply source of powder B, container C which is the supply destination of powder B, and static eliminator 8 are all housed in a housing 9, so the entire interior of the housing 9 can be neutralized. Furthermore, the effects of external disturbances when supplying minute amounts of powder B can be reduced.
- the powder supply device was described as having a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the linear member and scraping member horizontally, but it may also be possible to move the powder supply source and powder supply destination horizontally without moving the linear member and scraping member horizontally, as in the powder supply device 1G shown in Figure 28.
- Figure 28 is a schematic diagram of a modified powder supplying device viewed from above. Instead of a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the linear member 2 and the scraping member 3 horizontally, the powder supplying device 1G shown in Figure 28 is equipped with a horizontal movement mechanism 10 that moves the powder holding member A, which is the supply source of the powder B, and the container C, which is the supply destination of the powder B, horizontally.
- the horizontal movement mechanism 10 moves the powder holding member A and the container C horizontally between a first position where the powder holding member A is positioned below the tip 21 of the linear member 2, and a second position where the container C is positioned below the tip 21 of the linear member 2.
- the horizontal movement mechanism 10 may be constituted, for example, by a rotating table that rotates around the base 51a of the fixed frame 51 with the support 51b of the fixed frame 51 as its central axis.
- this powder supplying device 1G does not include a horizontal movement mechanism for moving the linear member 2 and the scrubbing member 3 in the horizontal direction, and therefore the upper arm portion 52c, middle arm portion 52e, and lower arm portion 52g of the horizontal movement mechanism 52 in the above embodiment become the upper arm portion 51c, middle arm portion (not shown), and lower arm portion (not shown) extending from the support column 51b of the fixed frame 51, and the upper holder portion 52d and middle support portion 52f become the upper holder portion 51d and middle support portion (not shown) provided at the tip of the upper arm portion 51c and middle arm portion.
- the powder holding member and container are described as not moving up and down (vertically), but the powder holding member and container may also move up and down (vertically), as in the modified powder supply device shown in Figures 29 and 30.
- FIGS. 29 and 30 are schematic diagrams of a modified powder supplying device.
- the modified powder supplying device 1H shown in FIGS. 29 and 30 is essentially the same as the first embodiment, but differs from the first embodiment in that it includes a supply source stage 14H and a supply destination stage 15H.
- the supply source stage 14H is a platform on which the powder holding member A is placed.
- the supply source stage 14H is capable of moving in the up and down direction UD with the powder holding member A placed on it.
- the supply source stage 14H can be moved in the up and down direction UD by a lifting mechanism using, for example, a motor, hydraulics, etc.
- the destination stage 15H is a platform on which the container C is placed.
- the destination stage 15H is capable of moving in the up and down direction UD with the container C placed on it.
- the movement of the destination stage 15H in the up and down direction UD can be achieved by, for example, a lifting mechanism using a motor, hydraulics, etc.
- the powder holding member A can be moved in the up and down direction UD by the supply source stage 14H, so powder B can be attached to the linear member 2 without having to move the linear member 2 in the insertion/removal direction D.
- This suppresses vibrations occurring in the linear member 2, preventing powder B from falling from the tip 21 due to vibrations of the linear member 2 before the powder B is scraped off from the tip 21 by the scraping member 3. This further reduces variation in the amount of powder B supplied.
- the container C can be moved in the up-down direction UD by the supply destination stage 15H, so the tip 21 of the linear member 2 can be brought closer to the container C without moving the linear member 2 in the insertion/removal direction D more than necessary.
- This suppresses vibrations occurring in the linear member 2, and also allows the powder B to be scraped off from the linear member 2 in the vicinity of the container C, thereby preventing the powder B from scattering outside the container C.
- the scraping member 3C has a nozzle portion 35C, at least a portion of the nozzle portion 35C can be inserted into the container C by moving the container C in the up-down direction UD by the supply destination stage 15H.

Description
制御装置6は、例えば、CPU(Central Processing Unit)、ROM(Read Only Memory)、RAM(Random Access Memory)等を有する電子制御ユニットである。
