Abstract

遮光領域を有する窓ガラスの視認性を確保すること。本開示の一態様にかかる窓ガラス(1)は、遮光領域(20)を有する。遮光領域(20)は、外部からの光を遮るように構成された第1方向に伸びる複数の遮光部(21)と、外部からの光を透過するように構成された第1方向に伸びる複数の透過部(22)と、が所定の周期で交互に配置された周期パターン(23)を備える。本開示では、窓ガラスを1m離れた位置で見た際の周期パターン(23)の空間周波数が2.0~36.4(cycle/deg)となるように構成している。

Description

窓ガラス
 本開示は、窓ガラスに関する。
 近年、自然エネルギーを利用するために、太陽光発電セルが設けられた太陽電池モジュールの利用が進められている。特に、建築物の窓ガラスに使用可能な太陽電池モジュールが広く利用されている。
 特許文献1には、2枚のガラス板の間に複数の太陽光発電セルを配置したガラス建材に関する技術が開示されている。
国際公開第2018/056286号
 背景技術で説明したように、近年、太陽光発電セルが設けられた太陽電池モジュールが広く利用されている。このような太陽電池モジュールは、建築物の窓ガラスなど建材として利用されている。
 しかしながら、窓ガラスに太陽光発電セルを設けた場合は、太陽光発電セルが遮光領域となるため、建築物の内部から外部を視認しづらくなるという問題がある。
 上記課題に鑑み本開示の目的は、遮光領域を有する窓ガラスの視認性を確保することである。
 本開示の一態様にかかる窓ガラスは下記の通りである。

 以下、図面を参照して本開示について説明する。
 図1は、実施の形態にかかる窓ガラスの構成例を示す正面図である。図2は、実施の形態にかかる窓ガラスの構成例を示す断面図であり、図1の切断線II-IIにおける断面図である。本実施の形態にかかる窓ガラス1は、典型的には建築物の窓ガラスとして使用可能である。
 図1に示すように、本実施の形態にかかる窓ガラス1は、板状の透光部材10を用いて構成されている。透光部材10は、遮光領域20を有する。遮光領域20は、外部からの光を遮るように構成された水平方向(第1方向)に伸びる複数の遮光部21と、外部からの光を透過するように構成された水平方向に伸びる複数の透過部22と、が所定の周期で交互に配置された周期パターン23を備える。本実施の形態では、窓ガラス1を1m離れた位置で見た際の周期パターン23の空間周波数が2.0~36.4(cycle/deg)となるように構成している。
 本実施の形態において、複数の遮光部21は典型的には太陽光発電セルで構成されている。この場合、窓ガラス1は太陽電池モジュールとして機能する。以下では、遮光部21を太陽光発電セルで構成した場合を例として説明する(以下、太陽光発電セル21とも記載する)。なお、本実施の形態では、複数の遮光部21は太陽光発電セル以外で構成されてもよい。
 図1、図2に示すように、本実施の形態にかかる窓ガラス1は、板状の透光部材10を用いて構成されている。図2に示すように、透光部材10は、第1透光部材11、第2透光部材12、及び中間接着膜13を備える合わせガラスを用いて構成できる。以下では、合わせガラスを用いて透光部材10を構成した場合について説明するが、本実施の形態において、透光部材10は、合わせガラス以外に、複層ガラス(ペアガラス)や単板ガラスを用いて構成してもよい。
 第1透光部材11および第2透光部材12は、透光性を有する板状部材であり、典型的にはガラス板や樹脂材料を用いて構成できる。以下、本実施の形態では、第1透光部材11および第2透光部材12をガラス板で構成した場合について説明する。また、以下では、第1透光部材11および第2透光部材12を第1ガラス板11および第2ガラス板12とも記載する。
 第1ガラス板11および第2ガラス板12の厚さはそれぞれ、例えば2mm以上12mm以下である。例えば、第1ガラス板11および第2ガラス板12として化学強化ガラスを用いてもよい。化学強化ガラスを用いた場合は、第1ガラス板11および第2ガラス板12の強度を保ちつつ、第1ガラス板11および第2ガラス板12を軽量化できる。また、本実施の形態では、第1ガラス板11および第2ガラス板12として風冷強化ガラスを用いてもよい。例えば、第1ガラス板11は建築物の屋外側に配置され、第2ガラス板12は建築物の屋内に配置される。
 図2に示すように、中間接着膜13は、第1ガラス板11と第2ガラス板12との間に配置されており、第1ガラス板11と第2ガラス板12とを接着している。中間接着膜13の厚さは、例えば0.38mm以上4.56mm以下である。中間接着膜13には、EVA(エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体)樹脂、PVB(ポリビニルブチラール)樹脂、アイオノマー樹脂、COP(シクロオレフィンポリマー)、ポリウレタン、PVC(ポリ塩化ビニル)、POE(ポリオレフィンエラストマー)、TPO(オレフィン系熱可塑性エラストマー)などを用いてもよい。また、これらの材料を組み合わせて中間接着膜13を構成してもよい。
 図2に示すように、太陽光発電セル(遮光部)21は、第1ガラス板11と第2ガラス板12との間に配置されている。太陽光発電セル21は、シリコン系単結晶型、シリコン系多結晶型、アモルファスシリコン型、薄膜シリコン型、CIGS型、有機薄膜型、色素増感型、ペロブスカイト型等の太陽光発電セルを用いて構成できる。
 例えば、太陽光発電セル21がペロブスカイト型の太陽光発電セルや薄膜シリコン型の太陽光発電セルの場合、つまり、太陽光発電セル21が薄膜で構成されている場合、太陽光発電セル21は、第1ガラス板11及び第2ガラス板12の少なくとも一方の表面に直接形成してもよい。図2では、第2ガラス板12の中間接着膜13が配置されている側の表面に太陽光発電セル21を形成した例を示している。
 図2に示す窓ガラス1を形成する際は、第1ガラス板11、中間接着膜13、太陽光発電セル21が形成された第2ガラス板12の順に積層し、この積層体を加熱加圧して圧着することで窓ガラス1を形成してもよい。このとき、第1ガラス板11と第2ガラス板12との間に配置した中間接着膜13が加熱されて溶融し、第1ガラス板11と第2ガラス板12とが中間接着膜13によって接着される。
 また、太陽光発電セル21は、中間接着膜13に封入されるように配置してもよい。この場合は、窓ガラス1を形成する際、第1ガラス板11、中間接着膜13、太陽光発電セル21、中間接着膜13、第2ガラス板12の順に積層し、この積層体を加熱加圧して圧着する。このとき、太陽光発電セル21の厚さ方向の両側に配置した中間接着膜13同士が加熱されて溶融し、中間接着膜13が1層となり、太陽光発電セル21が中間接着膜13に封入される。
 本実施の形態では、窓ガラス1を1m離れた位置で見た際の周期パターン23の空間周波数が2.0~36.4(cycle/deg)となるように構成している。
 図3は、実施の形態にかかる窓ガラスの構成例を示す拡大正面図であり、窓ガラスの周期パターン23を拡大した正面図である。図3に示すように、周期パターン23は、遮光部(太陽光発電セル)21と透過部22とを用いて構成されている。透過部22は、遮光部(太陽光発電セル)21が形成されていない領域である。遮光部21の幅をaとし、透過部22の幅をbとした場合、周期パターンの1周期cは、c=a+bとなる。
 本実施の形態において、「周期パターン23の空間周波数」とは、窓ガラス1を1m離れた位置で見た際の周期パターン23の空間周波数であり、人間の視角1度(deg)当たりに周期パターン23の繰り返し(cycle)が何周期あるかを示すものである。空間周波数が高いほど、人間の視角1度(deg)に含まれる周期パターン23の数が多くなる(遮光部21の数が多くなる)。また、空間周波数が低いほど、人間の視角1度(deg)に含まれる周期パターン23の数が少なくなる(遮光部21の数が少なくなる)。
 図4Aに示すように、本明細書では、遮光部21と透過部22の1ペア(つまり、1つの周期パターン23)を計算範囲(1周期cに対応)とし、1つの周期パターン23の中心から1m離れた点Pからの1つの周期パターン23あたりの角度(deg/cycle)を算出し、この値の逆数を空間周波数(cycle/deg)と定義する。
 なお、図4Aでは、遮光部21の幅と透過部22の幅が同一の場合について説明したが、遮光部21の幅と透過部22の幅が異なる場合も同様である。すなわち、図4Bに示すように、遮光部21の幅と透過部22の幅が異なる場合においても、遮光部21と透過部22の1ペア(つまり、1つの周期パターン23)を計算範囲(1周期cに対応)とし、1つの周期パターン23の中心から1m離れた点Pからの1つの周期パターン23あたりの角度(deg/cycle)を算出し、この値の逆数を空間周波数(cycle/deg)と定義する。
 ここで、典型的には、遮光領域20に形成されている各々の遮光部21の幅a(図3参照)は同一であり、各々の透過部22の幅b(図3参照)は同一であるので、遮光領域20が備える各々の周期パターン23の1周期cも同一である。よって、上述のようにして算出した空間周波数は、遮光領域20に形成された複数の周期パターン23の空間周波数と同一となる。
 なお、後述するように、遮光領域20の周期パターン23の空間周波数が、窓ガラスの上下方向において徐々に変化する場合は、各々の周期パターン23における空間周波数が徐々に変化することとなる。
 本実施の形態では、窓ガラス1を1m離れた位置で見た際の周期パターン23の空間周波数が2.0~36.4(cycle/deg)となるように構成している。本実施の形態にかかる窓ガラス1では、周期パターン23の空間周波数をこのような範囲としているので、窓ガラス1に遮光領域20を設けた場合であっても、窓ガラスの視認性を確保できる。つまり、空間周波数を2.0(cycle/deg)以上とした場合は、人間の視覚の遮蔽補間効果によって、外部を視認しやすくできる。また、空間周波数を36.4(cycle/deg)以下とした場合は、人間が遮光部21を視認しづらくできるので、外部を視認しやすくできる。
 特に、本実施の形態では、窓ガラス1を1m離れた位置で見た際の周期パターン23の空間周波数が4.2~36.4(cycle/deg)であることが好ましい。空間周波数をこの範囲とした場合は、人間が窓ガラス1を介して外部を視認した際に、開放感を良好にでき、外とのつながりを感じられ、景色を見やすくでき、目がちらつかないようにできる。
 また、本実施の形態では、窓ガラス1を1m離れた位置で見た際の周期パターン23の空間周波数が5.8~36.4(cycle/deg)であることが好ましい。空間周波数をこの範囲とした場合は、人間が窓ガラス1を介して外部を視認した際に、上記効果に加えて、すっきり感を感じるようにできる。つまり、空間周波数の下限値を5.8(cycle/deg)以上とした場合は、人の目の周波数感度の高い周波数帯を避けられるので、すっきり感を感じるようにできる。
 また、本実施の形態では、遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比(a/b)は4.0以下が好ましく、2.5以下がより好ましく、1.7以下が更に好ましい。また、遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比は0.5以上が好ましく、1.0以上がより好ましい。遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比をこの範囲とすることで、遮光部(太陽光発電セル)21の面積を確保しつつ、窓ガラス1の視認性を確保できる。なお、遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比(a/b)は、典型的には周期パターンの1周期cにおける面積比であり、換言すると、互いに隣接する遮光部21と透過部22の面積比である。
 また、本実施の形態において、遮光領域20は、平均可視光線透過率が60.0%以上である領域を含んでもよい。平均可視光線透過率が60.0%以上の場合は、可視光線透過率が高いので外部を視認しやすくできる。なお、平均可視光線透過率は66%以上がより好ましい。また、本実施の形態において、遮光領域20の平均可視光線透過率は、90%以下が好ましい。ここで、遮光領域20は複数の遮光部21と複数の透過部22とが交互に配置された周期パターン23を備える領域である。本明細書において、「遮光領域20の平均可視光線透過率」とは、複数の遮光部21と複数の透過部22とを備える遮光領域20の平均的な可視光線透過率を意味する。
 また、本実施の形態において、遮光領域20は、平均可視光線透過率が10.5%以下である領域を含んでもよい。平均可視光線透過率が10.5%以下の場合は、可視光線透過率が低いので、外部からの光による眩しさを低減できるとともに、太陽光発電セル21の面積を広くできるので、太陽光発電セル21の発電量を増加させられる。なお、平均可視光線透過率は4%以下がより好ましい。
 遮光領域20の平均可視光線透過率は、遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比(a/b)や遮光部21自身の透過率を変化させることで調整できる。
 次に、本実施の形態にかかる窓ガラスの他の構成例について説明する。図5、図6は、実施の形態にかかる窓ガラスの他の構成例を示す正面図である。
 本実施の形態では、図5に示す窓ガラス2のように、遮光領域20は、第1領域31と、第1領域31よりも上側に配置され、第1領域31と空間周波数が異なる第2領域32と、を備えてもよい。そして、第2領域32に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数が、第1領域31に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数よりも高くなるように構成してもよい。例えば、第1領域31に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数は2.0~36.4(cycle/deg)としてもよく、第2領域32に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数は4.2~36.4(cycle/deg)としてもよい。
 図5に示す窓ガラス2では、第2領域32に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数が、第1領域31に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数よりも高くなるように構成している。このように構成した場合は、水平及び水平より下方に存在する周囲の透過像を上方よりも視認しやすくなるので、遮光領域20を有する窓ガラスの視認性をより効果的に確保できる。例えばビルなどの建築物の場合、水平方向及び水平より下方を視認しやすくなるため、隣接するビルや下方の様子を視認しやすくなる。
 また、窓ガラス2を建築物に設置した際、第1領域31は人が立った位置に対応し、第2領域32は天井付近に対応している。この場合は、第1領域31における遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比が、第2領域32における遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比よりも低くなるように構成してもよい。このような構成とすることで、第1領域31における平均可視光線透過率を高くでき、外部を視認しやすくできる。
 また、このような構成とした場合は、第2領域32における平均可視光線透過率を低くでき、外部からの光による眩しさを低減できるとともに、太陽光発電セル21の面積を広くできるので、太陽光発電セル21の発電量を増加させられる。
 本実施の形態では、図6に示す窓ガラス3のように、第1領域41と、第1領域41よりも上側に配置され、第1領域41と空間周波数が異なる第2領域42と、第1領域41よりも下側に配置され、第1領域41と空間周波数が異なる第3領域43と、を備えてもよい。そして、第2領域42に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数が、第1領域41に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数よりも高くなるように構成してもよい。また、第3領域43に設けられた周期パターンの空間周波数が、第1領域41に設けられた周期パターンの空間周波数よりも高くなるように構成してもよい。
 例えば、第1領域41に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数は2.0~36.4(cycle/deg)としてもよく、第2領域42、第3領域43に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数は4.2~36.4(cycle/deg)としてもよい。
 図6に示す窓ガラス3では、第2領域42、第3領域43に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数が、第1領域41に設けられた周期パターン23の空間周波数よりも高くなるように構成している。このように構成した場合は水平方向の周辺環境の透過像を視認しやすくなるので、遮光領域20を有する窓ガラスの視認性をより効果的に確保できる。例えばビルなどの建築物の場合、水平方向が視認しやすくなるため、隣接するビルや遠方の地表の様子を視認しやすくなる。
 また、窓ガラス3を建築物に設置した際、第1領域41は人の上肢の位置に対応し、第2領域42は天井付近に対応し、第3領域43は人の下肢の位置に対応している。この場合は、第1領域41における遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比が、第2領域42及び第3領域43における遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比よりも低くなるように構成してもよい。このような構成とすることで、第1領域41における平均可視光線透過率を高くでき、外部を視認しやすくできる。
 また、第2領域42及び第3領域43における遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比が、第1領域41における遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比よりも高くなるように構成してもよい。このような構成とすることで、第2領域42及び第3領域43における平均可視光線透過率を低くでき、外部からの光による眩しさを低減できるとともに、太陽光発電セル21の面積を広くできるので、太陽光発電セル21の発電量を増加させられる。
 また、本実施の形態では、遮光領域20の周期パターン23の空間周波数が、窓ガラスの上下方向において徐々に変化する領域を含んでもよい(図9参照)。例えば、図5に示した構成において、第1領域31と第2領域32との境界における空間周波数が徐々に変化するようにしてもよい。同様に、図6に示した構成において、第1領域41と第2領域42との境界及び第1領域41と第3領域43との境界における空間周波数が徐々に変化するようにしてもよい。このような構成とすることで、各領域の境界を目立たなくできる。
 また、本実施の形態では、遮光領域20の周期パターン23の空間周波数が、窓ガラスの上側から下側に向かって徐々に低くなるように構成してもよい(図9の上図参照)。このような構成とすることで、遮光領域20を有する窓ガラスの視認性を効果的に確保できる。
 次に、実施例について説明する。以下の試験方法を用いて、遮光領域を有する窓ガラスの視認性について試験を行った。
<試験方法>
 32インチのディスプレイを準備し、当該ディスプレイに遮光領域を有する窓ガラスからの眺望を評価画像として映した。そして、ディスプレイから1.0mの位置に評価者を配置し、評価画像の評価者の見え方についてデータを取得した。評価者は合計で5~6名であり、下記の評価項目について5段階(1~5)で評価した。

<試験1>
 遮光部21の幅aと透過部22の幅b(図3参照)を同一幅(a=b)とし、各々の幅を0.25mm~8mmの範囲で変化させた評価画像をディスプレイに映し、評価者の見え方について調べた。なお、この場合の遮光部21の透過部22に対する面積比は1である。
 図7に、遮光部21と透過部22の幅を変化させた際の試験結果を示す。また、図8に、遮光部21と透過部22の幅を変化させた際の評価画像を示す。なお、遮光部21と透過部22の幅と、窓ガラス(ディスプレイ)を1m離れた位置で見た際の周期パターンの空間周波数との関係は下記の通りである。
 図7のグラフにおいて、横軸は遮光部21と透過部22の幅であり、縦軸は評価値を示している。なお、評価値は各評価者の評価結果の平均値である(数値が高いほど評価が高い)。図7に示すように、遮光部21と透過部22の幅が狭いほど(空間周波数が大きいほど)、各々の評価項目の評価値が良好であった。特に、遮光部21と透過部22の幅が0.25mm、0.5mmのときに評価結果が良好であった。また、図8に示すように、遮光部21と透過部22の幅が0.5mm、1mmの場合は遮光部21が目立たなかったが、遮光部21と透過部22の幅が4mmの場合は遮光部21が目立つ結果となった。このため、遮光部21と透過部22の幅が4mmの場合は、「外とのつながりを感じられるか」と「景色の見えやすさ」が低かったと考えられる。なお、図8に示す遮光部21と透過部22の幅が0.5mmと1mmの写真の一部において、横に伸びる線が太い部分がみられるが、これは画像を縮小した際に生じるモアレであり、原寸大の画像では生じていない偽模様である。
<試験2>
 図9に示すように、周期パターンの空間周波数を徐々に変化させた際の評価画像を用いて、見え方の評価を行った。評価画像として、上側に向かって空間周波数が徐々に高くなる評価画像(図9の上図)と、下側に向かって空間周波数が徐々に高くなる評価画像(図9の下図)を用いた。このとき、遮光部21の幅aを2mmに固定し、透過部22の幅bを徐々に変化させることで、空間周波数を徐々に変化させた。
 試験の結果、上側に向かって空間周波数が徐々に高くなる評価画像(図9の上図)、及び下側に向かって空間周波数が徐々に高くなる評価画像(図9の下図)の両方において、「開放感があるか」、「外とのつながりを感じられるか」、「景色の見えやすさ」、「目がちらつかないか」の評価結果が高かった。特に、上側に向かって空間周波数が徐々に高くなる評価画像(図9の上図)では、下側に向かって空間周波数が徐々に高くなる評価画像(図9の下図)と比べて各評価項目の評価結果が高かった。この理由は、下側の空間周波数が低い図9の上図の方が階下の建物が見えやすくなるため、眺望や空間の広がりを感じやすくなったためと考えられる。
 以上、本発明を上記実施の形態に即して説明したが、本発明は上記実施の形態の構成にのみ限定されるものではなく、本願特許請求の範囲の請求項の発明の範囲内で当業者であればなし得る各種変形、修正、組み合わせを含むことは勿論である。
 この出願は、2024年6月11日に出願された日本出願特願2024-94165を基礎とする優先権を主張し、その開示の全てをここに取り込む。

Claims (13)

  1.  遮光領域を有する窓ガラスであって、
     前記遮光領域は、外部からの光を遮るように構成された第1方向に伸びる複数の遮光部と、外部からの光を透過するように構成された前記第1方向に伸びる複数の透過部と、が所定の周期で交互に配置された周期パターンを備え、
     前記窓ガラスを1m離れた位置で見た際の前記周期パターンの空間周波数が2.0~36.4(cycle/deg)である、
     窓ガラス。
  2.  前記窓ガラスを1m離れた位置で見た際の前記周期パターンの空間周波数が4.2~36.4(cycle/deg)である、請求項1に記載の窓ガラス。
  3.  前記窓ガラスを1m離れた位置で見た際の前記周期パターンの空間周波数が5.8~36.4(cycle/deg)である、請求項1に記載の窓ガラス。
  4.  前記遮光部の前記透過部に対する面積比が4.0以下である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の窓ガラス。
  5.  前記遮光領域は、第1領域と、前記第1領域よりも上側に配置され、前記第1領域と空間周波数が異なる第2領域と、を備え、
     前記第2領域に設けられた周期パターンの空間周波数が、前記第1領域に設けられた周期パターンの空間周波数よりも高くなるように構成されている、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の窓ガラス。
  6.  前記遮光領域は更に、前記第1領域よりも下側に配置され、前記第1領域と空間周波数が異なる第3領域を備え、
     前記第3領域に設けられた周期パターンの空間周波数が、前記第1領域に設けられた周期パターンの空間周波数よりも高くなるように構成されている、請求項5に記載の窓ガラス。
  7.  前記第1領域に設けられた周期パターンの空間周波数が2.0~36.4(cycle/deg)であり、前記第2領域に設けられた周期パターンの空間周波数が4.2~36.4(cycle/deg)である、請求項5に記載の窓ガラス。
  8.  前記遮光領域の周期パターンの空間周波数が、前記窓ガラスの上下方向において徐々に変化する領域を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の窓ガラス。
  9.  前記遮光領域の周期パターンの空間周波数が、前記窓ガラスの上側から下側に向かって徐々に低くなるように構成されている、請求項8に記載の窓ガラス。
  10.  前記遮光領域は、平均可視光線透過率が60.0%以上である領域を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の窓ガラス。
  11.  前記遮光領域は、平均可視光線透過率が10.5%以下である領域を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の窓ガラス。
  12.  前記第1方向が水平方向である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の窓ガラス。
  13.  前記遮光部は太陽光発電セルで構成されている、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の窓ガラス。
