[ 0 0 1 1 ] なお、 以下では、 二輪のモータサイクルに用いられる制御装置について説明しているが (図 1中のモータサイクル 1を参照) 、 本発明に係る制御装置の制御対象となる車両は、 二輪のモータサイクル以外の他のモータサイクルであってもよい。 モータサイクルには、 エンジンを動力源とする車両、 電気モータを動力源とする車両等が含まれる。 モータサイ クルには、 例えば、 オートバイ、 スクーター、 電動スクーター等が含まれる。

[ 0 0 2 9 ] 主流路 5 5には、 込め弁 ( E V ) 6 1が設けられている。 副流路 5 6は、 主流路 5 5の うちの、 込め弁 6 1に対するホイールシリンダ 5 4側とマスタシリンダ 5 1側との間をバ イパスする。 副流路 5 6には、 上流側から順に、 弛め弁 ( A V ) 6 2と、 アキュムレータ 6 3と、 ポンプ 6 4とが設けられている。 主流路 5 5のうちの、 マスタシリンダ 5 1側の 端部と、 副流路 5 6の下流側端部が接続される箇所との間には、 第 1弁 ( U S V ) 6 5が 設けられている。 供給流路 5 7は、 マスタシリンダ 5 1 と、 副流路 5 6のうちのポンプ 6 4 の吸込側との間を連通させる。 供給流路 5 7には、 第 2弁 ( H S V ) 6 6が設けられて いる。 また、 液圧制御ユニッ ト 1 2には、 ポンプ 6 4を駆動するモータ 7 1が設けられて いる。
[ 0 0 3 0 ] 込め弁 6 1は、 例えば、 非通電状態で開き、 通電状態で閉じる電磁弁である。 弛め弁 6 2 は、 例えば、 非通電状態で閉じ、 通電状態で開く電磁弁である。 第 1弁 6 5は、 例えば 、 非通電状態で開き、 通電状態で閉じる電磁弁である。 第 2弁 6 6は、 例えば、 非通電状 態で閉じ、 通電状態で開く電磁弁である。

[ 0 0 3 5 ] 通常時 (つまり、 ライダーによるブレーキ操作に応じた制動力を車輪に生じさせるよう に設定している時) には、 制御装置 2 0によって、 込め弁 6 1が開放され、 弛め弁 6 2が 閉鎖され、 第 1弁 6 5が開放され、 第 2弁 6 6が閉鎖される。 その状態で、 第 1ブレーキ 操作部 4 1が操作されると、 前輪制動機構 3 1において、 マスタシリンダ 5 1のピス トン (図示省略) が押し込まれてホイールシリンダ 5 4のブレーキ液の液圧が増加し、 ブレー キキャリパ 5 3のブレーキパッ ド (図示省略) が前輪 2のロータ 2 aに押し付けられて、 前輪 2に制動力が生じる。 また、 第 2ブレーキ操作部 4 2が操作されると、 後輪制動機構 3 2において、 マスタシリンダ 5 1のピス トン (図示省略) が押し込まれてホイールシリ ンダ 5 4のブレーキ液の液圧が増加し、 ブレーキキャリパ 5 3のブレーキパッ ド (図示省 略) が後輪 3のロータ 3 aに押し付けられて、 後輪 3に制動力が生じる。

[ 0 0 4 1 ] 以下では、 位置関係調整動作として、 アダプティブクルーズコントロールが実行される 例を説明する。 ただし、 位置関係調整動作は、 モータサイクル 1 と先行車両との位置関係 を目標位置関係に調整する動作であればよく、 アダプティブクルーズコントロール以外の 動作であってもよい。 例えば、 位置関係調整動作は、 ライダーによるアクセル操作の操作 量に応じて目標位置関係が変化する動作であってもよい。
[ 0 0 4 2 ] 具体的には、 実行部 2 2は、 アダプティブクルーズコントロールが実行される制御モー ドを実行することができる。 そして、 そのような制御モードにおいて、 実行部 2 2は、 ア ダプティブクルーズコントロールを実行することができる。 例えば、 モータサイクル 1の 電源が起動した際には、 上記の制御モードは実行されておらず、 入力装置 1 3を用いたス イッチ操作がライダーにより行われると、 制御モードが実行される。
[ 0 0 4 3 ] ここで、 制御モードの実行中において、 制御モードの状態は、 アダプティブクルーズコ ントロールが実際に実行されている状態とアダプティブクルーズコントロールが一時的に 中断され実行されていない状態の間で遷移可能となっている。 具体的には、 制御モードの 実行中において、 位置関係の調整対象となる先行車両が検出されている場合、 実行部 2 2 は、 位置関係調整動作として、 アダプティブクルーズコントロールを実行する。 一方、 制 御モードの実行中において、 位置関係の調整対象となる先行車両が検出されていない場合 、 実行部 2 2は、 アダプティブクルーズコントロールを一時的に中断する。
[ 0 0 4 4 ] 図 4は、 モータサイクル 1の追従走行状態を示す模式図である。 図 4の例では、 モータ サイクル 1の走行車線と同一の車線においてモータサイクル 1の前方を走行する先行車両 4 が、 例えば、 周囲環境センサ 1 4によって検出されている。 このとき、 実行部 2 2にょ って実行され得るアダプティブクルーズコントロールによって、 モータサイクル 1 と先行 車両 4との位置関係が目標位置関係に調整され得る。 それにより、 モータサイクル 1が先 行車両 4に追従する追従走行が実現される。

[ 0 0 4 6 ] アダプティブクルーズコントロールでは、 例えば、 モータサイクル 1 と先行車両 4との 通過時間差 (具体的には、 現時点からモータサイクル 1が先行車両 4の現在位置を通過す るまでにかかる時間) の目標値である目標通過時間差が設定されており、 実行部 2 2は、 上記の通過時間差が目標通過時間差に維持されるように、 モータサイクル 1の速度を制御 する。 つまり、 上記の通過時間差が目標通過時間差になる位置関係が目標位置関係に相当 する。 例えば、 取得部 2 1は、 モータサイクル 1の周囲環境情報に基づいて上記の通過時 間差を取得し、 実行部 2 2は、 そのように取得される通過時間差に基づいて、 上記のよう にモータサイクル 1の速度を制御することができる。

[ 0 0 5 0 ] 図 5は、 モータサイクル 1の単独走行状態を示す模式図である。 図 5の例では、 モータ サイクル 1の前方、 かつ、 モータサイクル 1に対して所定範囲内に先行車両 4が存在して おらず、 先行車両 4が検出されていない。 このように、 モータサイクル 1が追従走行を行 っておらず単独走行を行っている場合、 アダプティブクルーズコントロールは一時的に中 断される。 この場合、 実行部 2 2は、 モータサイクル 1の速度を、 目標速度に調整する。 それにより、 モータサイクル 1は、 ほぼ一定の速度で走行する。 目標速度は、 例えば、 あ らかじめ設定されており、 制御装置 2 0の記憶素子に記憶されている。 なお、 ライダーが 目標速度を手動で設定可能となっていてもよい。

[ 0 0 6 1 ] ステップ S 1 〇 2で Y E Sと判定された場合、 ステップ S 1 〇 3において、 学習部 2 3 は、 モータサイクル 1の運転特性の学習として第 1学習を行い、 ステップ S 1 0 2に戻る 。 つまり、 第 1学習は、 モータサイクル 1が追従走行状態となっている場合に行われる学 習である。 一方、 ステップ S 1 0 2で N Oと判定された場合、 ステップ S 1 0 4において 、 学習部 2 3は、 モータサイクル 1の運転特性の学習として第 2学習を行い、 ステップ S 1 〇 2に戻る。 つまり、 第 2学習は、 モータサイクル 1が単独走行状態となっている場合 に行われる学習である。
[ 0 0 6 2 ] 運転特性は、 ライダー固有のモータサイクル 1の運転に関する特性を意味する。 運転特 性の学習内容の詳細については後述するが、 学習部 2 3は、 運転特性の学習において、 各 種データに基づいて、 ライダー固有の運転特性を特定する。 そして、 学習部 2 3は、 取得 された運転特性に関するデータ (具体的には、 学習の結果に相当する運転特性の特定結果 を示すデータ、 及び、 運転特性の特定に用いられたデータ) を記憶部 2 4に記憶させて蓄 積する。 そして、 学習部 2 3は、 繰り返し学習を行う上で、 蓄積されたデータに基づいて 、 運転特性の学習 (つまり、 ライダー固有の運転特性の特定) を行う。 このようにデータ の蓄積に伴い学習の結果が更新されるので、 運転特性の学習の習熟度は、 データが蓄積さ れるにつれて高くなる。 なお、 学習部 2 3による運転特性の学習は、 既存の機械学習の各 種手法を用いて行われてもよい。

[ 0 0 7 9 ] また、 第 1の例において、 学習部 2 3は、 上述した加速度及び減速度の少なく とも一方 に関する特性をモータサイクル 1のリーン角ごとに学習してもよい。 例えば、 モータサイ クル 1の加速度又は減速度の学習において、 学習部 2 3は、 リーン角が小さい場合の最大 加速度又は最大減速度と、 リーン角が大きい場合の最大加速度又は最大減速度とを分けて 学習してもよい。 例えば、 モータサイクル 1の加速度変化率又は減速度変化率の学習にお いて、 学習部 2 3は、 リーン角が小さい場合の加速度変化率の標準値、 又は、 減速度変化 率の標準値と、 リーン角が大きい場合の加速度変化率の標準値、 又は、 減速度変化率の標 準値とを分けて学習してもよい。 なお、 取得部 2 1は、 例えば、 慣性計測装置 1 7の検出 結果に基づいて、 リーン角を直接的に示す情報、 又は、 リーン角に実質的に変換可能な他 の情報を、 リーン角の情報として取得できる。
[ 0 0 8 0 ] 上記のように、 第 1の例では、 モータサイクル 1の加速度及び減速度の少なく とも一方 に関する特性が運転特性として学習される。 ゆえに、 実行部 2 2は、 制御モードにおいて 、 上記のように学習されたモータサイクル 1の加速度及び減速度の少なく とも一方に関す る特性が再現されるように、 モータサイクル 1の挙動を制御する。 例えば、 実行部 2 2は 、 制御モードにおいて、 モータサイクル 1を加速させる際に、 モータサイクル 1の最大加 速度、 及び、 加速度変化率が学習結果 (例えば、 学習された標準値) に近くなるように、 モータサイクル 1に作用する駆動力を制御する。 また、 例えば、 実行部 2 2は、 制御モー ドにおいて、 モータサイクル 1を減速させる際に、 モータサイクル 1の最大減速度、 及び 、 減速度変化率が学習結果 (例えば、 学習された標準値) に近くなるように、 モータサイ クル 1に作用する制動力を制御する。
