Description

ジオポリマー組成物
 本発明は、ジオポリマーの強度発現性やフレッシュ性改善に関する。
 ジオポリマーは、セメント硬化体と比較して製造時のCO排出量が低いほか、耐酸性、耐熱性等に優れる建設材料として注目されている。近年では、粉体原料に高炉スラグ微粉末を一部使用し、アルカリ源としてはアルカリ珪酸塩を使用するものが初期強度発現性の高さから主流となっている。
 一方で、ケイ酸ナトリウムを使用した場合に、配合条件によっては粘性が高くなることでフレッシュ性状が低下し、打ち込み時の施工不良の原因と成り得るとされる。(非特許文献1)

 特許文献1に記載されるアルカリ量/水量のモル比が0.1以上であるジオポリマー組成物は粘性が高く、フレッシュ性状が低下してコンクリートに用いた場合に施工不良の原因となる。
 一方で、非特許文献2に記載されるとおり、アルカリ量/水量モル比が強度に与える影響は大きく、0.1未満となった場合に常温での強度発現性が低下することが考えられる。
 本発明は、以上のような事情に基づいてなされたものであり、その目的は十分な初期強度発現性を保持しながら、粘性を低減でき、良好なフレッシュ性状のジオポリマー組成物を提供することにある。
 本発明者らは、フレッシュ性状と圧縮強度が改善されたジオポリマー組成物を簡易的に得るために鋭意検討を重ねた結果、アルカリ金属珪酸塩を用いたジオポリマー組成物において、所定の初期強度を保持しながら、粘性を低減し、良好なフレッシュ性状を有するジオポリマー組成物の組成範囲を見出し、本発明の完成に至った。具体的には、ジオポリマー組成物のアルカリ源に含まれるアルカリ金属イオンの前記水に対するモル比:AL/Wを0.100未満、かつアルカリ源に含まれる珪素イオンの水に対するモル比:Si/Wを0.035~0.085とすることで、十分な初期強度発現性と良好なフレッシュ性状を有するジオポリマー組成物が得られることを見出した。
 すなわち、本発明は、粉体成分、水及びアルカリ源を含むジオポリマー組成物であって、粉体成分は高炉スラグ微粉末またはフライアッシュの少なくともいずれかを含み、アルカリ源は少なくともアルカリ珪酸塩を含み、前記アルカリ源に含まれるアルカリ金属イオンの前記水に対するモル比:AL/Wが0.100未満であって、前記アルカリ源に含まれる珪素イオンの前記水に対するモル比:Si/Wが0.035~0.085であるジオポリマー組成物である。
 本発明のジオポリマー組成物は、前記アルカリ源がアルカリ金属珪酸塩及びアルカリ金属炭酸塩を含むことが好ましい。
 また、前記アルカリ金属珪酸塩は珪酸ナトリウムであることが、前記アルカリ金属炭酸塩は炭酸ナトリウムであることが好ましい。
 本発明のジオポリマー組成物によれば、AL/Wが0.100未満でも、Si/Wを0.035~0.085とすることにより、粘性を低減でき、フレッシュ性状が良好で、なおかつ常温での初期強度発現性にも優れたジオポリマー組成物が得られる。

 以下、本発明の実施形態を詳細に説明するが、本発明は当該実施形態に限定されるものではない。なお、本明細書における「部」や「%」は特に規定しない限り質量基準とする。
 <ジオポリマー組成物>
 本発明のジオポリマー組成物は、粉体成分、水及びアルカリ源を含むジオポリマー組成物であって、粉体成分は高炉スラグ微粉末またはフライアッシュの少なくともいずれかを含み、アルカリ源は少なくともアルカリ珪酸塩を含み、前記アルカリ源に含まれるアルカリ金属イオンの前記水に対するモル比:AL/Wが0.100未満であって、前記アルカリ源に含まれる珪素イオンの前記水に対するモル比:Si/Wが0.035~0.085である。本発明のジオポリマー組成物は、十分な初期強度発現性と良好なフレッシュ性状を有する。
 ここで、本発明における初期強度とは、JIS A 1108に記載の圧縮強度試験法に準拠して行った圧縮強度試験に基づく材齢1日目の圧縮強度を意味する。本発明のジオポリマー組成物における初期強度は、型枠から取り外せる程度の強度であることが好ましく、例えば、10.0N/mm以上であることが好ましく、12.0N/mm以上であることがより好ましく、14.0N/mm以上であることがさらに好ましい。
 また、本発明におけるフレッシュ性状は、例えば、JIS A 5201に記載のモルタルフロー試験に準拠した試験による15打モルタルフロー(流動性)により評価することができる。本発明のジオポリマー組成物における15打モルタルフローは、施工性の観点から、160mm以上であることが好ましく、170mm以上であることがより好ましく、180mm以上であることがさらに好ましい。
 (フライアッシュ)
 フライアッシュは、石炭やバイオマス燃料のいずれかまたは両方を燃料とし、火力発電所等のボイラ内で燃焼させ、燃焼の残渣として副生する灰分のうち、集塵器で排ガス中から回収される微細な灰である。特にSiO、Alを主成分とし、粒度やフロー値に基づきJIS A 6201によりI~IV種に規格されるコンクリート用フライアッシュが好ましく、その規格は特に限定されるものではないが、その粒度が細かく反応性に富むI種、II種がより好ましい。
 (高炉スラグ微粉末)
 高炉スラグ微粉末は、銑鉄を生成する際に生じるものであり、CaO、SiO、Al、MgOを主成分として含む。高炉スラグ微粉末としては、例えば、カルシウムを、酸化カルシウム(CaO)換算で20質量%以上60質量%以下含有するものが挙げられる。特にJIS A 6206に規格されたコンクリート用高炉スラグ微粉末4000を使用することが、得られるジオポリマー組成物を用いて製造したジオポリマー硬化体の常温における強度発現性と収縮性の観点からより好ましい。
 本発明のジオポリマー組成物において、粉体成分は高炉スラグ微粉末またはフライアッシュの少なくともいずれかを含むが、高炉スラグ微粉末とフライアッシュとを含むことが好ましい。フライアッシュとスラグ微粉末の合計質量に対するフライアッシュの含有率は50~90質量%であることが好ましく、得られるジオポリマー組成物硬化体の耐久性の観点から60~85質量%であることがより好ましい。50質量%以上であることで、水と混合してジオポリマー組成物としたときに、流動性を良好に維持でき十分な作業性が得られやすいことや、フライアッシュの有効利用拡大という観点からも好ましい。また、90質量%以下であることで、初期材令においてジオポリマー組成物硬化体の良好な強度発現性が得られる。
 (アルカリ源)
 アルカリ源は、構成イオンにアルカリ金属イオン(Li,Na,K等)が含まれる塩であり、代表的なアルカリ金属塩としては、アルカリ金属珪酸酸塩、アルカリ金属炭酸塩、アルカリ金属水酸化物等を挙げることができる。本発明のジオポリマー組成物において、アルカリ源は少なくともアルカリ金属珪酸塩を含む。溶解熱が比較的低く、練混ぜ工程に悪影響が無く、常温での養生で圧縮強度に優れたジオポリマー組成物硬化体を得ることができることから、アルカリ金属珪酸塩とアルカリ金属炭酸塩との併用が好ましい。アルカリ金属珪酸塩、アルカリ金属炭酸塩等のアルカリ源の状態は液体、粉体のいずれでもよく、塩の無水物、水和物、水溶液のいずれでもよい。運搬性や施工性が高いことから粉末であることが好ましい。
 アルカリ金属珪酸塩粉末としては、珪酸ナトリウム粉末(SiO/NaOモル比:1.95~3.4程度)、及びメタ珪酸ナトリウム粉末(1種、2種)、珪酸カリウム粉末、メタ珪酸カリウム粉末、珪酸リチウム粉末などが挙げられる。強度発現性や耐久性が優れることや、比較的安価な粉末材料であることから、珪酸ナトリウム粉末(SiO/NaOモル比:1.950~2.2程度、HO=約20質量%)が好ましい。
 アルカリ金属炭酸塩としては、炭酸ナトリウム(NaCO)、炭酸カリウム(KCO)、炭酸リチウム(LiCO)などが挙げられる。比較的安価でスラグ微粉末に対して高い反応性を示す、炭酸ナトリウム粉末が好ましい。
 アルカリ金属珪酸塩とアルカリ金属炭酸塩とを併用する場合、アルカリ金属珪酸塩とアルカリ金属炭酸塩の合計質量に対するアルカリ金属炭酸塩の含有率は5質量%~50質量%であることが好ましい。
 アルカリ源を構成する、アルカリ金属イオン(AL)の水(W)に対するモル比AL/Wは0.100未満である。AL/Wが0.100以上であると、ジオポリマー組成物の粘性が高くなり、ジオポリマー組成物硬化体の製造時に支障をきたす。上記の観点から、AL/Wは、0.095以下とすることが好ましく、0.090以下とすることがより好ましく、0.085以下とすることがさらに好ましい。
 該アルカリ源を構成する、ケイ素イオン(Si)の水(W)に対するモル比Si/Wは0.035~0.085である。Si/Wが0.035未満では、ジオポリマー硬化体の圧縮強度が低下し、Si/Wが0.085超であると、ジオポリマー組成物の粘性が高く、現場作業に用いにくく施工に支障をきたす。上記の観点から、Si/Wは0.050~0.070とすることが好ましい。
 (水)
 水は、特に制限なく水道水、イオン交換水、純水等が使用できる。
 本発明のジオポリマー組成物には、上記以外に、本発明の作用効果を損ねない範囲で、各種の混和剤、混和材を添加することができる。例えば、流動化剤、収縮低減剤、防錆剤防水材、凝結遅延剤、消泡剤、粉塵低減剤、顔料、炭酸カルシウム粉末等のコンクリートに用いられる公知の材料が挙げられる。
 また、本発明のジオポリマー組成物には、上記以外に、用途に応じて、各種の骨材を添加することができる。例えば、軽量骨材、普通骨材、重量骨材、石灰石骨材、スラグ骨材、珪砂等のコンクリートに用いられる公知の骨材が挙げられる。
 (ジオポリマー組成物の製造方法)
 本発明のジオポリマー組成物は、粉体成分、アルカリ源及び水、必要に応じて各種の混和材料、骨材を同時若しくは順次所定量配合し、適宜、混練装置によって混練することによって製造できる。混練装置は特に限定されるものではなく、例えば、コンクリートを混練するために使用される強制二軸ミキサ等が挙げられる。
 ジオポリマー組成物の製造方法は、例えば、粉体成分と粉末状のアルカリ源と骨材とを粉体混合する粉体混合工程と、粉体混合工程の後に水を投入して混練する混練工程を含む。なお、混練工程の後に流動化剤や凝結遅延剤等の混和剤、混和材を混合して混錬する2次混練工程を設けてもよい。
 (ジオポリマー組成物硬化体の製造方法)
 ジオポリマー組成物の混練工程又は、2次混練工程の後に、ジオポリマー組成物を5℃~90℃の温度範囲養生することでジオポリマー組成物の硬化物であるジオポリマー硬化体を得ることができる。特に、ジオポリマー組成物のアルカリ源にアルカリ金属ケイ酸塩及びアルカリ炭酸塩を併用した場合に、5~35℃の常温での養生で圧縮強度に優れたジオポリマー組成物硬化体を得ることができる。他の養生条件は特に限定されるものではなく、一般的に用いられる養生条件でよい。例えば、蒸気養生、封緘養生、気中養生、水中養生等が用いられる。
 <その他の実施形態>
 なお、本発明に係るジオポリマー組成物は、上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲内において種々変更を加えてもよい。さらに、ある実施形態の構成の一部を削除することができる。また、ある実施形態の構成に対して周知技術を付加することができる。
 以下、具体的な実施例を挙げ、本発明をさらに詳細に説明する。但し、本発明は以下の実施例のみに限定されない。本発明の特長が大きく損なわれない限り、各種の変形例や応用例も本発明に含まれる。
 (原材料)
・粉体成分
(1)フライアッシュ(FA):フライアッシュII種(JIS A 6201に準拠)
(2)スラグ微粉末(BS):高炉スラグ微粉末4000(JIS A 6206に準拠)
・アルカリ源(アルカリ珪酸塩、アルカリ炭酸塩)
(3)粉末珪曹(Ns):珪酸ナトリウム粉末(SiO/NaOモル比=1.98、HO=約20質量%、当社製)
(4)ソーダ灰(Nc):炭酸ナトリウム粉末(当社製)
・その他の原材料
(5)細骨材(s):細骨材(JIS標準砂)
(6)添加水:イオン交換水
 [ジオポリマー組成物(モルタル)の調製]
 表1にジオポリマー組成物(モルタル)の配合を示す。粉末状ジオポリマー組成物を調製したのちに、ジオポリマー組成物をモルタルとして得た。
 [粉末状ジオポリマー組成物の調製]
 フライアッシュ、スラグ微粉末、ソーダ灰及び、粉末珪曹を、表1の配合表に従い秤量し、ポリエチレン製の袋に入れ3分間攪拌することで、均一の分散状態の粉末状ジオポリマー組成物を調製した。なお、圧縮強度、15打モルタルフロー値(流動性)に寄与するとされる粉体成分全体に対する高炉スラグ微粉末の含有率(Vol%)、および、(A+W)/Fについては全て同一値とした。
 [粉末状ジオポリマー組成物を使用したモルタルの練混ぜ]
 上記粉末状ジオポリマー組成物と水とをホバートミキサーへ投入後1分間攪拌し、細骨材を投入して30秒間練混ぜを行い、掻き落としを15秒間行った後にさらに2分間練混ぜを行うことにより、均一に練混ぜられたジオポリマー組成物をモルタルとして得た。得られたモルタルについて、15打モルタルフロー値、圧縮強度を測定し、その結果を表2に示した。
 ※AL/W:ソーダ灰、粉末珪曹に含まれる、ナトリウム(Na)原子の添加水、粉末珪曹中の水分子(W)に対するモル比。
 ※Si/W:粉末珪曹に含まれる、珪素(Si)原子の添加水、粉末珪曹中の水分子(W)に対するモル比。
 ※(A+W)/F:ソーダ灰、粉末珪曹からなるアルカリ成分(A)と添加水を混合した溶液の体積(A+W)と、フライアッシュ、スラグ微粉末からなる粉体成分の体積(F)との比。
 (比較例1~3)
 比較例1~3は、Si/W(モル比)が0.085超かつAL/W(モル比)が0.100以上となるように配合を調整したジオポリマー組成物である。
 (実施例1~5)
 実施例1~5は、Si/W(モル比)が0.035~0.085かつAL/W(モル比)が0.100未満となるように配合を調整したジオポリマー組成物である。
 (比較例4)
 比較例4は、Si/W(モル比)が0.035未満かつAL/W(モル比)が0.100未満となるように配合を調整したジオポリマー組成物である。
 [15打モルタルフロー試験]
 JIS A 5201に記載のモルタルフロー試験に準拠し、比較例1~4及び実施例1~5を練上げた直後に、15回の落下運動を与えた後のモルタルフロー値を測定した。
結果を、表2に示した。また、AL/W及びSi/Wと15打モルタルフローの関係を図1、図2に示した。
 [圧縮強度試験]
 比較例1~4及び実施例1~5のモルタルをφ(直径)50mm×100mmの容器へ
封入し、所定の材齢(1日、3日、7日及び、28日)まで20℃で封緘養生を行った。
 所定の材齢(1日、3日、7日及び、28日)まで養生したモルタルは、JIS A 1108に記載の圧縮強度試験法に準拠し圧縮強度試験を実施し、圧縮強度を測定した。結果を、表2に示す。また、Si/Wと材齢1日目の圧縮強度との関係を、図3に示した。
 図1,図2に示す通り、Si/Wの増加に伴い15打フローは減少し、その減少の程度は0.085超で顕著であった。また、AL/Wの増加に従い、15打フローは線形的に減少した。従って、15打フロー160mm以上の良好なフレッシュ性状のジオポリマー組成物を得るためにはAL/Wを0.100未満とし、Si/Wを0.085以下とすることが有効であった。
 図3に示す通り、材齢初期の圧縮強度はSi/Wの増加に伴い増加し、その増加の程度は、0.035以上で急激に増加する傾向が視られた。従って、良好な初期強度発現性を有するジオポリマー組成物を得るためにはSi/Wを0.035以上とすることが有効である。

Claims (4)

  1.  粉体成分、水及びアルカリ源を含むジオポリマー組成物であって、
     前記粉体成分は高炉スラグ微粉末またはフライアッシュの少なくともいずれかを含み、
     前記アルカリ源は少なくともアルカリ金属珪酸塩を含み、
     前記アルカリ源に含まれるアルカリ金属イオンの前記水に対するモル比:AL/Wが0.100未満であって、前記アルカリ源に含まれる珪素イオンの前記水に対するモル比:Si/Wが0.035~0.085であるジオポリマー組成物。
  2.  前記アルカリ源がアルカリ金属珪酸塩及びアルカリ金属炭酸塩を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のジオポリマー組成物。
  3.  前記アルカリ金属珪酸塩が珪酸ナトリウムであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のジオポリマー組成物。
  4.  前記アルカリ金属炭酸塩が炭酸ナトリウムであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のジオポリマー組成物。
