医療デバイス
本開示は、医療デバイスに関する。
既提案の種々のガイドワイヤは、治療や検査のために、血管、消化管、尿管等の管状器官や体内組織に挿入して使用されるカテーテル等を案内する。
例えば、特許文献1は、芯線と、その芯線の先端部外周に装着された金属コイルと、その金属コイルの先端部と芯線の先端部との間に装着されたロウ付け部分と、を備えたガイドワイヤ10を開示する。
特許文献1は、ロウ付け部分が、金ロウ材、銀ロウ材、ハンダ等の金属材料からなる点を更に開示する。
特開2011-143077号公報
特許文献1に開示のガイドワイヤは、引張強度の向上の余地を有する。当該課題は、ガイドワイヤ以外の医療デバイスにも共通する。
本開示に係る医療デバイスは、コアシャフトと、前記コアシャフトの先端部を覆うコイル体と、前記コイル体の先端と前記コアシャフトの先端とを接続した接続部と、を備え、前記コアシャフトは、前記接続部内において、前記コイル体の先端から先端側に前記コイル体の内径よりも大きな外径の膨隆部を有し、前記コイル体は、前記膨隆部に対向して形成された第1のセクションと、前記第1のセクションの基端側に前記第1のセクションから離して形成された第2のセクションと、を備え、前記接続部は、前記第1のセクションと前記第2のセクションとの間に充填されている。

以下、本開示の実施形態としてのガイドワイヤについて、図面を参照して説明する。ガイドワイヤは医療デバイスである。
(第1実施形態)
先ず、本開示の第1実施形態について説明する。本実施形態に使用する図面は、理解を容易にするために誇張して表現されており、その寸法は実際の寸法とは異なる。
本実施形態及び後述する実施形態においては、説明の都合上、ガイドワイヤの長手方向において、図面上左側を先端側、右側を基端側と記す。
図1は、本開示の第1実施形態のガイドワイヤの全体概略図である。図2は、そのガイドワイヤの先端拡大図である。図3は、そのガイドワイヤの先端縦断面図である。
図1から図3に示すように、本実施形態のガイドワイヤ1は、コアシャフト5と、コイル体3と端接続部7a(本開示の「接続部」に相当)と、基端接続部7bと、コアシャフト5、コイル体3、コーティング剤2と、を備える。コイル体3は、コアシャフト5の先端部を覆う。先端接続部7aは、コイル体3の先端及びコアシャフト5の先端に接続されている。基端接続部7bは、コイル体3の基端及びコアシャフト5に接続されている。コーティング剤2は、コアシャフト5、コイル体3、先端接続部7a及び基端接続部7bの外周を覆う。図1及び図2において、コーティング剤2は、断面で示されている。
コアシャフト5は、基端から先端に向かって縮径している断面略円形状であって長尺状の可撓性部材である。コアシャフト5は、基端側円柱部5dと、中間円柱部5cと、先端テーパ部5bと、先端円柱部5aと、を備える。基端側円柱部5dの全体は、略円柱形状である。中間円柱部5cは、基端側円柱部5dの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。中間円柱部5cは、基端側円柱部5dよりも縮径している。先端テーパ部5bは、中間円柱部5cの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。先端テーパ部5bは、先端に向って徐々に縮径する。先端円柱部5aは、先端テーパ部5bの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。先端円柱部5aは、略円柱形状である。
コアシャフト5を形成する材料は、生体適合性を有する材料であれば特に限定されない。コアシャフト5を形成する材料には、例えば、ステンレス鋼、Ni-Ti系合金、コバルト系合金等の金属材料、ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリプロピレン、ポリウレタン、ポリ塩化ビニル等の樹脂材料等の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態ではステンレス鋼が使用されている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ1は、先端接続部7a内において、コアシャフト5の先端円柱部5aの先端に形成された膨隆部9を備える。膨隆部9は、コイル体3の先端から先端側に形成されている。膨隆部9は、コイル体3の内径D1よりも大きな外径D2を有する。
膨隆部9を形成する材料は、生体適合性を有する材料であれば特に限定されない。膨隆部9を形成する材料には、例えば、プラチナ合金、ステンレス鋼、Ni-Ti系合金、コバルト系合金等の金属材料、ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリプロピレン、ポリウレタン、ポリ塩化ビニル等の樹脂材料等の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態ではプラチナ合金が使用されている。
コイル体3は、少なくとも1本の素線を巻回して形成された円筒中空状のコイル体である。素線は、金属素線及び樹脂素線の何れかである。コイル体3の先端は、先端接続部7aによって先端円柱部5aの先端及び膨隆部9に接続されている。コイル体3の基端は、基端接続部7bによってコアシャフト5の先端テーパ部5bに接続されている。
本実施形態のコイル体3は、第1のセクションC1と、第2のセクションC2と、を備える。第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第1のセクションC1における素線は、コアシャフト5の周りに螺旋状に巻回されている。第2のセクションC2は、第1のセクションC1の基端側に第1のセクションC1から離して形成されている。第2のセクションC2における素線は、コアシャフト5の周りに螺旋状に巻回されている。第2のセクションC2は、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って、コイル体3を構成する素線の外径X1よりも大きな長さX2、第1のセクションC1から離れている。先端接続部7aは、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に充填されている。第2のセクションC2は、先端接続部7aから延出している。
 図3は、コイル体3を構成する素線のうち第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に位置する素線部位を示していない。この不図示の素線部位は、第1のセクションC1における素線の螺旋ピッチ、及び第2のセクションC2における素線の螺旋ピッチより大きな螺旋ピッチで螺旋状に延びており、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2とを連結している。この不図示の素線部位は、螺旋状に延びていなくてもよく、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って延びていてもよい。第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間の部分を「連結セクションL1」と記す。
コイル体3を構成する素線の材料は、コアシャフト5と同様に、生体適合性を有する材料であれば特に限定されない。コイル体3を構成する素線の材料には、例えば、ステンレス鋼、Ni-Ti系合金、コバルト系合金等の金属材料、ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリプロピレン、ポリウレタン、ポリ塩化ビニル等の樹脂材料等の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態ではステンレス鋼が使用されている。
図3に示すように、コアシャフト5とコイル体3との間には、空隙部4が形成されている。
先端接続部7aは、前述のとおり、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接合する。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ1は、この先端接続部7aによって、コアシャフト5とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ1の引張強度を向上させている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ1は、先端接続部7a内において、膨隆部9と、膨隆部9に対向して形成された第1のセクションC1と、を利用して、コアシャフト5がコイル体3から外れることを防止する。先端接続部7aが第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に充填されている。そのため、第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部9と、第1のセクションC1の基端側に充填された先端接続部7aの材料と、により挟みこまれる。したがって、コアシャフト5とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ1の引張強度を向上させることができる。
第1のセクションC1は、コイル体3の素線を、間隔を空けずに巻回すことによって形成された密巻き部である。そのため、第1のセクションC1は、密巻きされていない場合と比較して、高い剛性を有する。したがって、第1のセクションC1が先端接続部7aから外れることを防止することができ、コアシャフト5とコイル体3との接合強度をより向上させ、ガイドワイヤ1の引張強度をより向上させることができる。
第2のセクションC2は、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って、コイル体3を構成する素線の外径X1よりも大きな長さX2、第1のセクションC1から離れている。そのため、より多くの先端接続部7aが第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に充填されている。したがって、コアシャフト5とコイル体3との接合強度をより向上させ、ガイドワイヤ1の引張強度をより向上させることができる。
先端接続部7aは、先端接続部7aの材料をコイル体3の内部へ充填することで形成される。ガイドワイヤ1の製造者は、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間から、コイル体3内部への先端接続部7aの充填状態を確認することができる。
先端接続部7aを形成する材料は、生体適合性を有する接合部材であれば特に限定されない。先端接続部7aを形成する材料には、例えば、シリコン系接着剤、アクリル系接着剤、エポキシ系接着剤、シアノアクリレート系接着剤等の樹脂材料からなる接合部材、及び金錫ロウ材、銀錫ロウ材、金錫ハンダ材、銀錫ハンダ材等の金属材料からなる接合部材等の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態では、エポキシ系接着剤が使用されている。
基端接続部7bは、前述のとおり、コイル体3の基端とコアシャフト5とを接合する。その材料には、先端接続部7aと同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態では、エポキシ系接着剤が使用されている。
コーティング剤2は、前述のとおり、コアシャフト5、コイル体3、先端接続部7a及び基端接続部7bの外周を覆う。その材料としては、生体適合性を有する接合部材であれば特に限定されない。コーティング剤2の材料には、例えば、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリアクリル酸、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、ポリ(2-ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート)、無水マレイン酸系共重合体、エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体、2-メタクリロイルオキシエチルホスホリルコリン、(2-ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート)―スチレンブロック共重合体、各種合成ポリペプチド、コラーゲン、ヒアルロン酸、セルロース系ポリマー、およびこれらの混合物等を使用することができ、本実施形態では、ポリアクリルアミドが使用されている。上記の2-メタクリロイルオキシエチルホスホリルコリンは、その共重合体でもよい。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ1は、コアシャフト5と、コイル体3と、先端接続部7aと、を備える。コイル体3は、コアシャフト5の先端部を覆う。先端接続部7aは、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続する。コアシャフト5は、先端接続部7a内においてコイル体3の先端から先端側にコイル体3の内径D1よりも大きな外径D2の膨隆部9を有する。コイル体3は、第1のセクションC1と、第2のセクションC2と、を備える。第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC2は、第1のセクションC1の基端側に第1のセクションC1から離して形成されている。そのため、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間から、コイル体3内部への先端接続部7aの充填状態を確認することができる。先端接続部7aは、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ1の引張強度を向上させることができる。先端接続部7aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ1の引張強度を確保することができる。
(第2実施形態)
本開示の第2実施形態について説明する。本実施形態に使用する図面も、理解を容易にするために誇張して表現されており、その寸法は実際の寸法とは異なる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤの全体概略図及び先端拡大図については、第1実施形態とほぼ同様であるため、図面を省略し、第1実施形態と共通する部分については、同じ符号を付し説明を省略する。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ10は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と比較して、コイル体の先端とコアシャフトの先端とを接続した先端接続部の形態が異なる。
第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1における先端接続部7aは、膨隆部9と、コイル体3の第1のセクションC1と、第2のセクションC2の2巻き分未満と、を含めて、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続している。膨隆部9は、コイル体3の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ10における先端接続部17aは、膨隆部9と、コイル体13の第1のセクションC11と、第2のセクションC12の少なくとも2巻き分と、を含めて、コイル体13の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続している。膨隆部9は、コイル体13の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションC11は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。
図4は、第2実施形態のガイドワイヤの先端縦断面図である。
図4に示すように、本実施形態のガイドワイヤ10は、コアシャフト5と、コイル体13と、先端接続部17a(本開示の「接続部」に相当)と、基端接続部7bと、コーティング剤2と、を備える。コイル体13は、コアシャフト5の先端部を覆う。先端接続部17aは、コイル体13の先端及びコアシャフト5の先端に接続されている。基端接続部7bは、コイル体13の基端及びコアシャフト5に接続されている。コーティング剤2は、コアシャフト5、コイル体13、先端接続部17a及び基端接続部7bの外周を覆う。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ10は、先端接続部17a内において、コアシャフト5の先端円柱部5aの先端に形成された膨隆部9を備える。膨隆部9は、コイル体13の先端から先端側に形成されている。膨隆部9は、コイル体13の内径D1よりも大きな外径D2を有する。
コイル体13は、少なくとも1本の素線を巻回して形成された円筒中空状のコイル体である。素線は、金属素線及び樹脂素線の何れかである。コイル体13の先端は、先端接続部17aによって先端円柱部5aの先端及び膨隆部9に接続されている。コイル体13の基端は、基端接続部7bによってコアシャフト5の先端テーパ部5bに接続されている。
本実施形態のコイル体13は、第1のセクションC11と、第2のセクションC12と、を備える。第2のセクションC12は、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って、コイル体13を構成する素線の外径X1よりも大きな長さX12、第1のセクションC11から離れている。先端接続部17aは、第1のセクションC11と第2のセクションC12との間に充填されている。第2のセクションC12は、先端接続部17aから延出している。第1のセクションC11と第2のセクションC12との間の部分を「連結セクションL11」と記す。第2のセクションC12は、コイル体3の素線を、間隔を空けずに巻回すことによって形成された密巻き部である。第2のセクションC12は、少なくとも2巻き分、先端接続部17a内に位置している。第2のセクションC2のうち先端接続部17aに位置する部分を「先端埋設部C12a」と記す。第1のセクションC11は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC12は、第1のセクションC11の基端側に第1のセクションC11から離して形成されている。
コイル体13を構成する素線の材料には、第1実施形態のコイル体3を構成する素線と同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態ではステンレス鋼が使用されている。
図4に示すように、コアシャフト5とコイル体13との間には、空隙部4が形成されている。
先端接続部17aは、前述のとおり、コイル体13の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接合する。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ10は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と同様に、この先端接続部17aによって、コアシャフト5とコイル体13との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ10の引張強度を向上させている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ10は、先端接続部17a内において、膨隆部9と、膨隆部9に対向して形成された第1のセクションC11と、を利用して、コアシャフト5がコイル体13から外れることを防止する。先端接続部7aが第1のセクションC11と第2のセクションC12との間に充填されている。そのため、第1のセクションC11は、膨隆部9と、第1のセクションC11の基端側に充填された先端接続部17aの材料と、によって挟みこまれる。先端接続部17aは、第1のセクションC11と先端埋設部C12aとにより挟みこまれる。したがって、コアシャフト5とコイル体13との接合強度をより向上させ、ガイドワイヤ10の引張強度をより向上させることができる。
ガイドワイヤ10の製造者は、第1のセクションC11と第2のセクションC12との間から、コイル体13内部への先端接続部17aの充填状態を確認することができる。
先端接続部17aの材料には、第1実施形態の先端接続部7aと同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態では、エポキシ系接着剤が使用されている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ10は、コアシャフト5と、コイル体13と、先端接続部17aと、を備える。コイル体13は、コアシャフト5の先端部を覆う。先端接続部17aは、コイル体13の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続する。コアシャフト5は、先端接続部17a内においてコイル体13の先端から先端側にコイル体13の内径D1よりも大きな外径D2の膨隆部9を有する。コイル体13は、第1のセクションC11と、第2のセクションC12と、を備える。第1のセクションC11は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC12は、第1のセクションC11の基端側に第1のセクションC11から離して形成されている。そのため、第1のセクションC11と第2のセクションC12との間から、コイル体13内部への先端接続部17aの充填状態を確認することができる。先端接続部17aは、第1のセクションC11と第2のセクションC12との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体13との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ10の引張強度を向上させることができる。先端接続部17aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ10の引張強度を確保することができる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ10によれば、第2のセクションC12は、密巻き部であり、少なくとも2巻き分、先端接続部17a内に位置している。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体13との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤ10の引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。
(第3実施形態)
本開示の第3実施形態について説明する。本実施形態に使用する図面も、理解を容易にするために誇張して表現されており、その寸法は実際の寸法とは異なる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤの全体概略図及び先端拡大図については、第1実施形態とほぼ同様であるため、図面を省略し、第1実施形態及び第2実施形態と共通する部分については、同じ符号を付し説明を省略する。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ20は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と比較して、コイル体の先端とコアシャフトの先端とを接続した先端接続部の形態が異なる。
第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1における先端接続部7aは、膨隆部9と、コイル体3の第1のセクションC1と、第2のセクションC2の一部と、を含めて、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続している。膨隆部9は、コイル体3の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ20における先端接続部27aは、膨隆部9と、コイル体23の第1のセクションC21と、第2のセクションC22と、第3のセクションC23の一部と、を含めて、コイル体23の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続している。膨隆部9は、コイル体23の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションC21は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第3のセクションC23は、第2のセクションC22の基端側に形成されている。
図5は、第3実施形態のガイドワイヤの先端縦断面図である。
図5に示すように、本実施形態のガイドワイヤ20は、コアシャフト5と、コイル体23と、先端接続部27a(本開示の「接続部」に相当)と、基端接続部7bと、コーティング剤2と、を備える。コイル体23は、コアシャフト5の先端部を覆う。先端接続部27aは、コイル体23の先端及びコアシャフト5の先端に接続されている。基端接続部7bは、コイル体23の基端及びコアシャフト5に接続されている。コーティング剤2は、コアシャフト5、コイル体23、先端接続部27a及び基端接続部7bの外周を覆う。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ20は、先端接続部27a内において、コアシャフト5の先端円柱部5aの先端に形成された膨隆部9を備える。膨隆部9は、コイル体23の先端から先端側に形成されている。膨隆部9は、コイル体23の内径D1よりも大きな外径D2を有する。
コイル体23は、少なくとも1本の素線を巻回して形成された円筒中空状のコイル体である。素線は、金属素線及び樹脂素線の何れかである。コイル体23の先端は、先端接続部27aによって先端円柱部5aの先端及び膨隆部9に接続されている。コイル体23の基端は、基端接続部7bによってコアシャフト5の先端テーパ部5bに接続されている。

 図5は、第1のセクションC21と第2のセクションC22との間に位置する素線部位と、第2のセクションC22と第3のセクションC23との間に位置する素線部位と、を示していない。第1のセクションC21と第2のセクションC22との間に位置する不図示の素線部位は、第1のセクションC21及び第2のセクションC22における素線の螺旋ピッチより大きな螺旋ピッチで螺旋状に延びており、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2とを連結している。第2のセクションC22と第3のセクションC23との間に位置する不図示の素線部位は、第2のセクションC22及び第3のセクションC23における素線の螺旋ピッチより大きな螺旋ピッチで螺旋状に延びており、第2のセクションC22と第3のセクションC23とを連結している。第1のセクションC21と第2のセクションC22との間の部分を「第1の連結セクションL21」と記す。第2のセクションC22と第3のセクションC23との間の部分を「第2の連結セクションL22」と記す。第1の連結セクションL21における素線は、螺旋状に延びていなくてもよく、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って延びていてもよい。第2の連結セクションL22における素線は、螺旋状に延びていなくてもよく、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って延びていてもよい。
コイル体23を構成する素線の材料には、第1実施形態のコイル体3を構成する素線と同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態ではステンレス鋼が使用されている。
図5に示すように、コアシャフト5とコイル体23との間には、空隙部4が形成されている。
先端接続部27aは、前述のとおり、コイル体23の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接合する。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ20は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と同様に、この先端接続部27aによって、コアシャフト5とコイル体23との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ20の引張強度を向上させている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ20は、先端接続部27a内において、膨隆部9と、膨隆部9に対向して形成された第1のセクションC21と、を利用して、コアシャフト5がコイル体23から外れることを防止する。先端接続部27aが第1のセクションC21と第2のセクションC22との間、及び第2のセクションC22と第3のセクションC23との間に充填されている。そのため、第1のセクションC21は、膨隆部9と、第1のセクションC1の基端側に充填された先端接続部27aの材料と、により挟みこまれる。第2のセクションC22は、第2のセクションC22の先端側に充填された先端接続部27aの材料と、第2のセクションC22の基端側に充填された先端接続部27aの材料と、により挟みこまれる。したがって、コアシャフト5とコイル体23との接合強度をより向上させ、ガイドワイヤ20の引張強度をより向上させることができる。
ガイドワイヤ20の製造者は、第1のセクションC21と第2のセクションC22との間及び第2のセクションC22と第3のセクションC23との間から、コイル体23内部への先端接続部27aの充填状態を確認することもできる。
先端接続部27aの材料には、第1実施形態の先端接続部7aと同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態では、エポキシ系接着剤が使用されている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ20は、コアシャフト5と、コイル体23と、先端接続部27aと、を備える。コイル体23は、そのコアシャフト5の先端部を覆う。先端接続部27aは、コイル体23の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続する。コアシャフト5は、先端接続部27a内においてコイル体23の先端から先端側にコイル体23の内径D1よりも大きな外径D2の膨隆部9を有する。コイル体23は、第1のセクションC21と、第2のセクションC22と、を備える。第1のセクションC21は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC22は、第1のセクションC21の基端側に第1のセクションC21から離して形成されている。そのため、第1のセクションC21と第2のセクションC22との間から、コイル体23内部への先端接続部27aの充填状態を確認することができる。先端接続部27aは、第1のセクションC21と第2のセクションC22との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体23との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ20の引張強度を向上させることができる。先端接続部27aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ20の引張強度を確保することができる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ20によれば、コイル体23は、第3のセクションC23を備える。第3のセクションC23は、第2のセクションC22の基端側に第2のセクションC22から離して形成されている。そのため、第2のセクションC22と第3のセクションC23との間から、コイル体23内部への先端接続部27aの充填状態をさらに良く確認することができる。先端接続部27aは、第2のセクションC22と第3のセクションC23との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体23との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤ20の引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。
(第4実施形態)
本開示の第4実施形態について説明する。本実施形態に使用する図面も、理解を容易にするために誇張して表現されており、その寸法は実際の寸法とは異なる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤの全体概略図及び先端拡大図については、第1実施形態とほぼ同様であるため、図面を省略し、第1実施形態から第3実施形態と共通する部分については、同じ符号を付し説明を省略する。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ30は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と比較して、コイル体の先端とコアシャフトの先端とを接続した先端接続部の形態が異なる。
第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1における先端接続部7aは、膨隆部9と、コイル体3の第1のセクションC1と、第2のセクションC2の2巻き分未満と、を含めて、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続している。膨隆部9は、コイル体3の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ30における先端接続部37aは、膨隆部9と、コイル体33の第1のセクションC31と、第2のセクションC32と、第3のセクションC33の少なくとも2巻き分と、を含めて、コイル体33の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続している。膨隆部9は、コイル体33の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションC31は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC32は、第1のセクションC31の基端側に形成されている。第3のセクションC33は、第2のセクションC32の基端側に形成されている。

図6に示すように、本実施形態のガイドワイヤ30は、コアシャフト5と、コイル体33と、先端接続部37a(本開示の「接続部」に相当)と、基端接続部7bと、コーティング剤2と、を備える。コイル体33は、コアシャフト5の先端部を覆う。先端接続部37aは、コイル体33の先端及びコアシャフト5の先端に接続されている。基端接続部7bは、コイル体33の基端及びコアシャフト5に接続されている。コーティング剤2は、コアシャフト5、コイル体33、先端接続部37a及び基端接続部7bの外周を覆う。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ30は、先端接続部37a内において、コアシャフト5の先端円柱部5aの先端に形成された膨隆部9を備える。膨隆部9は、コイル体33の先端から先端側に形成されている。膨隆部9は、コイル体33の内径D1よりも大きな外径D2を有する。
コイル体33は、少なくとも1本の素線を巻回して形成された円筒中空状のコイル体である。素線は、金属素線及び樹脂素線の何れかである。コイル体33の先端は、先端接続部37aによって先端円柱部5aの先端及び膨隆部9に接続されている。コイル体33の基端は、基端接続部7bによってコアシャフト5の先端テーパ部5bに接続されている。

本実施形態のガイドワイヤ30によれば、コイル体33は、第3のセクションC33を備える。第3のセクションC33は、第2のセクションC32の基端側に第2のセクションC32から離して形成されている。そのため、第2のセクションC32と第3のセクションC33との間から、コイル体33内部への先端接続部37aの充填状態をより良く確認することができる。先端接続部37aは、第2のセクションC32と第3のセクションC33との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体33との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤ30の引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ30によれば、第3のセクションC33は、密巻き部である。第3のセクションC33は、少なくとも2巻き分、先端接続部37a内に位置している。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体33との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤ30の引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。先端接続部37aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ30の引張強度をさらに確保することができる。

図7に示すように、本実施形態のガイドワイヤ40は、コアシャフト45と、コイル体3と、先端接続部47a(本開示の「接続部」に相当)と、基端接続部7bと、コーティング剤2と、を備える。コイル体3は、コアシャフト45の先端部を覆う。先端接続部47aは、コイル体3の先端及びコアシャフト45の先端に接続されている。基端接続部7bは、コイル体3の基端及びコアシャフト45に接続されている。コーティング剤2は、コアシャフト45、コイル体3、先端接続部47a及び基端接続部7bの外周を覆う。
コアシャフト45は、基端から先端に向かって縮径している断面略円形状であって長尺状の可撓性部材である。コアシャフト45は、基端側円柱部5dと、中間円柱部45cと、先端テーパ部45bと、先端円柱部45aと、を備える。基端側円柱部5dの全体は、略円柱形状である。中間円柱部45cは、基端側円柱部5dの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。中間円柱部5cは、基端側円柱部5dよりも縮径している。先端テーパ部45bは、中間円柱部45cの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。先端テーパ部5bは、先端に向って徐々に縮径する。先端円柱部45aは、先端テーパ部45bの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。先端円柱部45aは、略円柱形状である。
コアシャフト45を形成する材料には、第1実施形態のコアシャフト5と同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態ではステンレス鋼が使用されている。

先端接続部47aは、前述のとおり、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接合する。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ40は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と同様に、この先端接続部47aによって、コアシャフト45とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ40の引張強度を向上させている。

本実施形態のガイドワイヤ50は、コアシャフト55と、コイル体3と、先端接続部57aと、を備える。コイル体3は、コアシャフト55の先端部を覆う。先端接続部57aは、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト55の先端とを接続する。コアシャフト55は、先端接続部57a内においてコイル体3の先端から先端側にコイル体3の内径D1よりも大きな短軸の長さD4及び長軸の長さD5の膨隆部59を有する。コイル体3は、第1のセクションC1と、第2のセクションC2と、を備える。第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部59に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC2は、第1のセクションC1の基端側に第1のセクションC1から離して形成されている。そのため、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間から、コイル体3内部への先端接続部57aの充填状態を確認することができる。先端接続部57aは、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト55とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ50の引張強度を向上させることができる。先端接続部57aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ50の引張強度を確保することができる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ50によれば、膨隆部59は、コアシャフト55の先端円柱部55aによって形成された楕円のループ部L59である。そのため、簡単に膨隆部59を形成することができる。コアシャフト55とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ50の引張強度を向上させることができる。先端接続部57aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ50の引張強度を確保することができる。
(第7実施形態)
本開示の第7実施形態について説明する。本実施形態に使用する図面も、理解を容易にするために誇張して表現されており、その寸法は実際の寸法とは異なる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤの全体概略図及び先端拡大図については、第1実施形態とほぼ同様であるため、図面を省略し、第1実施形態から第6実施形態と共通する部分については、同じ符号を付し説明を省略する。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と比較して、膨隆部の形態が異なる。
第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1における膨隆部9は、コアシャフト5の先端円柱部5aの先端に形成されている。膨隆部9は、コアシャフト5とは別体で形成されている。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60における膨隆部69は、コアシャフト65の先端円柱部65aの先端部を変形して形成されている。
図9は、第7実施形態のガイドワイヤの先端縦断面図である。図9において、コアシャフト65の先端円柱部65aは、部分的に断面で示されている。
図9に示すように、本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60は、コアシャフト65と、コイル体3と、先端接続部67a(本開示の「接続部」に相当)と、基端接続部7bと、コーティング剤2と、を備える。コイル体3は、コアシャフト65の先端部を覆う。先端接続部67aは、コイル体3の先端及びコアシャフト65の先端に接続されている。基端接続部7bは、コイル体3の基端及びコアシャフト65に接続されている。コーティング剤2は、コアシャフト65、コイル体3、先端接続部67a及び基端接続部7bの外周を覆う。
コアシャフト65は、基端から先端に向かって縮径している断面略円形状であって長尺状の可撓性部材である。コアシャフト65は、基端側円柱部5dと、中間円柱部65cと、先端テーパ部65bと、先端円柱部65aと、を備える。基端側円柱部5dの全体は、略円柱形状である。中間円柱部65cは、基端側円柱部5dの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。中間円柱部65cは、基端側円柱部5dよりも縮径している。先端テーパ部65bは、中間円柱部65cの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。先端テーパ部65bは、先端に向かって徐々に縮径する。先端円柱部65aは、先端テーパ部65bの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。先端円柱部65aは、略円柱形状である。
コアシャフト65を形成する材料には、第1実施形態のコアシャフト5と同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態ではステンレス鋼が使用されている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60では、膨隆部69は、コアシャフト65によって形成されたループ部L69である。ループ部L69は、先端接続部67a内において、コイル体3の先端から先端側で、コアシャフト65の先端円柱部65aの先端部を、ガイドワイヤ60の中心軸と交差する軸周りに略円形状に曲げて形成されている。ループ部L69は、コイル体3の内径D1よりも大きな外径D6を有する。
ループ部L69は、コイル体3の先端から先端側に突出している。ループ部L69を形成する先端円柱部65aの1巻き目と2巻き目とが互いに重なっている。コアシャフト65の先端65adは、ループ部L69に接続されている。
図9に示すように、コアシャフト65とコイル体3との間には、空隙部4が形成されている。
先端接続部67aは、前述のとおり、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト65の先端とを接合する。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と同様に、この先端接続部67aによって、コアシャフト65とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ60の引張強度を向上させている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60は、先端接続部67a内において、膨隆部69と、膨隆部69に対向して形成された第1のセクションC1と、を利用して、コアシャフト65がコイル体3から外れることを防止する。先端接続部67aが第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に充填されている。そのため、第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部69と、第1のセクションC1の基端側に充填された先端接続部67aの材料と、により挟みこまれる。したがって、コアシャフト65とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ60の引張強度を向上させることができる。
ガイドワイヤ60の製造者は、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間から、コイル体3内部への先端接続部67aの充填状態を確認することができる。
先端接続部67aの材料には、第1実施形態の先端接続部7aと同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態では、エポキシ系接着剤が使用されている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60は、コアシャフト65と、コイル体3と、先端接続部67aと、を備える。コイル体3は、コアシャフト65の先端部を覆う。先端接続部67aは、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト65の先端とを接続する。コアシャフト65は、先端接続部67a内においてコイル体3の先端から先端側にコイル体3の内径D1よりも大きな外径D6の膨隆部69を有する。コイル体3は、第1のセクションC1と、第2のセクションC2と、を備える。第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部69に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC2は、第1のセクションC1の基端側に第1のセクションC1から離して形成されている。そのため、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間から、コイル体3内部への先端接続部67aの充填状態を確認することができる。先端接続部67aは、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト65とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ60の引張強度を向上させることができる。先端接続部67aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ60の引張強度を確保することができる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60によれば、膨隆部69は、コアシャフト65の先端円柱部65aによって形成されたループ部L69である。そのため、簡単に膨隆部69を形成することができる。コアシャフト65とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ60の引張強度を向上させることができる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ60によれば、コアシャフト65の先端65adは、ループ部L69に接続されている。そのため、コアシャフト65とコイル体3との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤ60の引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。先端接続部67aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ60の引張強度をさらに確保することができる。

図10に示すように、本実施形態のガイドワイヤ70は、コアシャフト75と、コイル体3と、先端接続部77a(本開示の「接続部」に相当)と、基端接続部7bと、コーティング剤2と、を備える。コイル体3は、そのコアシャフト75の先端部を覆う。先端接続部77aは、コイル体3の先端及びコアシャフト75の先端に接続されている。基端接続部7bは、コイル体3の基端及びコアシャフト75に接続されている。コーティング剤2は、コアシャフト75、コイル体3、先端接続部77a及び基端接続部7bの外周を覆う。
コアシャフト75は、基端から先端に向かって縮径している断面略円形状であって長尺状の可撓性部材である。コアシャフト75は、基端側円柱部5dと、中間円柱部75cと、先端テーパ部75bと、先端円柱部75aと、を備える。基端側円柱部5dの全体は、略円柱形状である。中間円柱部75cは、基端側円柱部5dの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。中間円柱部75cは、基端側円柱部5dよりも縮径している。先端テーパ部75bは、中間円柱部75cの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。先端テーパ部75bは、先端に向かって徐々に縮径する。先端円柱部75aは、先端テーパ部75bの先端から先端側に連続して形成されている。先端円柱部75aは、略円柱形状である。
コアシャフト75を形成する材料には、第1実施形態のコアシャフト5と同様の材料を使用することができ、本実施形態ではステンレス鋼が使用されている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ70では、膨隆部79は、コアシャフト75によって形成されたループ部L79である。ループ部L79は、先端接続部77a内において、コイル体3の先端から先端側で、コアシャフト75の先端円柱部75aの先端部を、ガイドワイヤ70の中心軸と交差する軸周りに略楕円形状に1巻き以上巻回して形成されている。ループ部L79は、コイル体3の内径D1よりも大きな短軸の長さD7及び長軸の長さD8を有する。
ループ部L79は、コイル体3の先端から先端側に突出している。先端円柱部75aの1巻き目と2巻き目とが互いに重なっている。コアシャフト55の先端75adは、ループ部L79に接続されている。
図10に示すように、コアシャフト75とコイル体3との間には、空隙部4が形成されている。
先端接続部77aは、前述のとおり、コイル体3の先端とコアシャフト75の先端とを接合する。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ70は、第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1と同様に、この先端接続部77aによって、コアシャフト75とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ70の引張強度を向上させている。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ70は、先端接続部77a内において、膨隆部79と、膨隆部79に対向して形成された第1のセクションC1と、を利用して、コアシャフト75がコイル体3から外れることを防止する。先端接続部77aが第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間に充填されている。そのため、第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部79と、第1のセクションC1の基端側に充填された先端接続部77aの材料と、により挟みこまれる。したがって、コアシャフト75とコイル体3との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ70の引張強度を向上させることができる。
ガイドワイヤ70の製造者は、第1のセクションC1と第2のセクションC2との間から、コイル体3内部への先端接続部77aの充填状態を確認することもできる。

本実施形態のガイドワイヤ70によれば、膨隆部79は、コアシャフト75の先端円柱部75aによって形成された楕円のループ部L79である。そのため、簡単に膨隆部79を形成することができる。したがって、コアシャフト75とコイル体3との接合強度を簡単に向上させ、ガイドワイヤ70の引張強度を簡単に向上させることができる。先端接続部77aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ70の引張強度を確保することができる。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ70によれば、コアシャフト75の先端75adは、ループ部L79に接続されている。そのため、コアシャフト75とコイル体3との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤ70の引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。先端接続部77aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ70の引張強度をさらに確保することができる。
(第9実施形態)
本開示の第9実施形態について説明する。本実施形態に使用する図面も、理解を容易にするために誇張して表現されており、その寸法は実際の寸法とは異なる。

第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1におけるコイル体3は、第1のセクションC1と、第2のセクションC2と、を備える。第1のセクションC1は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC2は、第1のセクションC1の基端側に第1のセクションC1から離して形成されている。第1のセクションC1は、密巻き部である。本実施形態のガイドワイヤ80におけるコイル体83は、図11に示すように、第1のセクションC81と、第2のセクションC82と、第3のセクションC83と、を備える。第1のセクションC81は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC82は、第1のセクションC81の基端側に第1のセクションC81から離して形成されている。第3のセクションC83は、第2のセクションC82の基端側に第2のセクションC82から離して形成されている。第1のセクションC81及び第2のセクションC82は、密巻き部ではない。
第1のセクションC81における素線は、コアシャフト5の周りに螺旋状に1巻き、巻回されている。第2のセクションC82における素線は、コアシャフト5の周りに螺旋状に1巻き、巻回されている。第3のセクションC83における素線は、コアシャフト5の周りに螺旋状に複数回、巻回されている。第3のセクションC83は、先端接続部7aから延出している。
第2のセクションC82は、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って、コイル体3を構成する素線の外径X1よりも小さな長さX82、第1のセクションC81から離れている。第3のセクションC83は、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って、コイル体3を構成する素線の外径X1よりも小さな長さX83、第2のセクションC82から離れている。長さX82及び長さX83は、コイル体3を構成する素線の外径X1よりも大きくてもよい。
図11は、第1のセクションC81と第2のセクションC82との間に位置する素線部位と、第2のセクションC82と第3のセクションC83との間に位置する素線部位と、を示していない。第1のセクションC81と第2のセクションC82との間に位置する不図示の素線部位は、第1のセクションC81及び第2のセクションC82における素線の螺旋ピッチより大きな螺旋ピッチで螺旋状に延びており、第1のセクションC81と第2のセクションC82とを連結している。第2のセクションC82と第3のセクションC83との間に位置する不図示の素線部位は、第2のセクションC82及び第3のセクションC83における素線の螺旋ピッチより大きな螺旋ピッチで螺旋状に延びており、第2のセクションC82と第3のセクションC83とを連結している。第1のセクションC81と第2のセクションC82との間の部分を「第1の連結セクションL81」と記す。第2のセクションC82と第3のセクションC83との間の部分を「第2の連結セクションL82」と記す。第1の連結セクションL81における素線は、螺旋状に延びていなくてもよく、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って延びていてもよい。第2の連結セクションL82における素線は、螺旋状に延びていなくてもよく、コアシャフト5の長手方向に沿って延びていてもよい。
本実施形態のガイドワイヤ80は、コアシャフト5と、コイル体83と、先端接続部7aと、を備える。コイル体83は、コアシャフト5の先端部を覆う。先端接続部7aは、コイル体83の先端とコアシャフト5の先端とを接続する。コアシャフト5は、先端接続部7a内においてコイル体83の先端から先端側にコイル体3の内径D1よりも大きな外径D2の膨隆部9を有する。コイル体83は、第1のセクションC81と、第2のセクションC82と、を備える。第1のセクションC81は、膨隆部9に対向して形成されている。第2のセクションC82は、第1のセクションC81の基端側に第1のセクションC81から離して形成されている。そのため、第1のセクションC81と第2のセクションC82との間から、コイル体83内部への先端接続部7aの充填状態を確認することができる。先端接続部7aは、第1のセクションC81と第2のセクションC82との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体83との接合強度を向上させ、ガイドワイヤ80の引張強度を向上させることができる。先端接続部7aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ80の引張強度を確保することができる。コイル体83は、第3のセクションC83を備える。第3のセクションC83は、第2のセクションC82の基端側に第2のセクションC82から離して形成されている。そのため、第2のセクションC82と第3のセクションC83との間から、コイル体83内部への先端接続部7aの充填状態をさらによく確認することができる。先端接続部7aは、第2のセクションC82と第3のセクションC83との間に充填されている。そのため、コアシャフト5とコイル体83との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤ80の引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。先端接続部7aにガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤ80の引張強度をさらに確保することができる。
以上、本開示の各種実施形態のガイドワイヤについて説明した。本開示は上記の実施形態に限られるものではなく、その要旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々変更して実施することが可能である。
例えば、第2実施形態のガイドワイヤ10における先端接続部17aは、膨隆部と、コイル体の第1のセクションと、第2のセクションの少なくとも2巻き分と、を含めて、コイル体の先端とコアシャフトの先端とを接続する。膨隆部は、コイル体の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションは、膨隆部に対向して形成されている。この点は、第5実施形態のガイドワイヤ40、第6実施形態のガイドワイヤ50、第7実施形態のガイドワイヤ60、及び第8実施形態のガイドワイヤ70にも適用することができる。
その場合には、コアシャフトとコイル体との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤの引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。先端接続部にガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤの引張強度をさらに確保することができる。
第3実施形態のガイドワイヤ20における先端接続部27aは、膨隆部と、コイル体の第1のセクションと、第2のセクションと、第3のセクションの一部と、を含めて、コイル体の先端とコアシャフトの先端とを接続する。膨隆部は、コイル体の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションは、膨隆部に対向して形成されている。この点も、第5実施形態のガイドワイヤ40、第6実施形態のガイドワイヤ50、第7実施形態のガイドワイヤ60、及び第8実施形態のガイドワイヤ70にも適用することができる。
その場合には、第1のセクションと第2のセクションとの間、及び第2のセクションと第3のセクションとの間から、コイル体内部への先端接続部の充填状態をより良く確認することができる。コアシャフトとコイル体との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤの引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。先端接続部にガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤの引張強度をさらに確保することができる。
第4実施形態のガイドワイヤ30における先端接続部37aは、膨隆部と、コイル体の第1のセクションと、第2のセクションと、第3のセクションの少なくとも2巻き分と、を含めて、コイル体の先端とコアシャフトの先端とを接続する。膨隆部は、コイル体の先端から先端側に形成されている。第1のセクションは、膨隆部に対向して形成されている。この点も、第5実施形態のガイドワイヤ40、第6実施形態のガイドワイヤ50、第7実施形態のガイドワイヤ60、及び第8実施形態のガイドワイヤ70にも適用することができる。
その場合には、第1のセクションと第2のセクションとの間、及び第2のセクションと第3のセクションとの間から、コイル体内部への先端接続部の充填状態をより良く確認することができる。コアシャフトとコイル体との接合強度をさらに向上させ、ガイドワイヤの引張強度をさらに向上させることができる。先端接続部にガルバニック腐食が発生しないように樹脂接着剤を使用した場合においても、ガイドワイヤの引張強度をさらに確保することができる。
上述の実施形態においては、図面サイズの関係上、コイル体における密巻き部については、1本の素線が密巻きの状態になった形態を説明した。密巻き部どうしの間隔については、コアシャフトの長手方向に沿ってコイル体を構成する素線1本の外径よりも若干大きな長さとして説明した。各密巻き部は、2本以上の素線からなる密巻き部であっても良い。密巻き部どうしの間隔は、コアシャフトの長手方向に沿ってコイル体を構成する素線1本の外径よりも大きければ良い。
上述の実施形態においては、コイル体における密巻き部を最大2箇所、連結セクションを最大2箇所として説明した。コイル体における密巻き部及び連結セクションの数は、ガイドワイヤとして使用可能な範囲であれば、いくつであっても良い。上述の実施形態の特徴は、ガイドワイヤ以外の医療デバイスに適用してもよい。当該医療デバイスは、例えば、カテーテル、ダイレータ等である。
