Abstract
重合性化合物を含有する重合性組成物の選定方法であって、カルボン酸のプロトン解離性基のプロトン解離エネルギー、及び、前記カルボン酸の密度の温度依存性曲線における変曲点温度に基づき、ボレートアニオンと、前記カルボン酸、前記カルボン酸の塩及び前記カルボン酸の水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、を含有する重合性組成物を選定する、重合性組成物の選定方法。
Description
本開示は、重合性組成物、その選定方法等に関する。
近年、各種機器の製造に際して、重合性組成物が各種部材の接着に用いられている。例えば、下記特許文献1では、重合性化合物を含有する熱硬化性組成物が記載されている。
近年の各種機器の小型化、高性能化等に伴い、高熱に曝すことを避けるべき部材の近傍で重合性組成物を熱硬化させる場合、高熱に曝すことを避けるべき部材に接触した重合性組成物を熱硬化させる場合等がある。これらの場合、熱硬化を低温で行うことによって当該部材の劣化を避ける観点から、重合性組成物に対しては、当該重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させる手法が求められる。
また、本発明者の知見によれば、各成分を混合して重合性組成物を調製してから時間が経過した後に重合性組成物を熱硬化させると、重合性組成物の調製直後と比較して反応開始温度が変化する場合がある。そのため、重合性組成物に対しては、当該重合性組成物の調製後における反応開始温度の経時変化を抑制する手法が求められる。
そして、このような重合性組成物に対しては、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度、及び、重合性組成物の調製後における反応開始温度の経時変化を調整する新たな手法が求められる。
本開示の一側面は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度、及び、重合性組成物の調製後における反応開始温度の経時変化を調整することが可能な重合性組成物の選定方法を提供することを目的とする。本開示の他の一側面は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させつつ、重合性組成物の調製後における反応開始温度の経時変化を抑制することが可能な重合性組成物を提供することを目的とする。

本開示の一側面によれば、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度、及び、重合性組成物の調製後における反応開始温度の経時変化を調整することが可能な重合性組成物の選定方法を提供することができる。本開示の他の一側面によれば、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させつつ、重合性組成物の調製後における反応開始温度の経時変化を抑制することが可能な重合性組成物を提供することができる。
以下、本開示の実施形態について詳細に説明する。但し、本開示は以下の実施形態に限定されるものではない。
本明細書において、「~」を用いて示された数値範囲は、「~」の前後に記載される数値をそれぞれ最小値及び最大値として含む範囲を示す。数値範囲の「A以上」とは、A、及び、Aを超える範囲を意味する。数値範囲の「A以下」とは、A、及び、A未満の範囲を意味する。本明細書に段階的に記載されている数値範囲において、ある段階の数値範囲の上限値又は下限値は、他の段階の数値範囲の上限値又は下限値と任意に組み合わせることができる。本明細書に記載されている数値範囲において、その数値範囲の上限値又は下限値は、実施例に示されている値に置き換えてもよい。「A又はB」とは、A及びBのどちらか一方を含んでいればよく、両方とも含んでいてもよい。本明細書に例示する材料は、特に断らない限り、一種を単独で又は二種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。組成物中の各成分の含有量は、組成物中に各成分に該当する物質が複数存在する場合、特に断らない限り、組成物中に存在する当該複数の物質の合計量を意味する。「(メタ)アクリレート」とは、アクリレート、及び、それに対応するメタクリレートの少なくとも一方を意味する。「(メタ)アクリル」等の他の類似の表現においても同様である。(メタ)アクリレート化合物の含有量は、アクリレート化合物及びメタクリレート化合物の合計量を意味する。「アルキル基」は、特に断らない限り、直鎖状、分岐又は環状のいずれであってもよい。「ヒドロキシ基」は、カルボキシ基に含まれるOH基を包含しない。「重合性組成物の全質量」は、重合性組成物の固形分の全質量を対象とする。重合性組成物の固形分は、揮発し得る揮発分(水、有機溶媒等)を除いた不揮発分を指す。すなわち、当該固形分は、重合性組成物の乾燥において揮発せずに残る成分を指し、25℃で液状、水飴状、ワックス状等の成分も含む。
本明細書において、「重量平均分子量」は、下記測定条件のゲル浸透クロマトグラフ(GPC)により、標準ポリスチレンを用いた検量線から換算することにより測定できる。

本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、重合性化合物を含有する重合性組成物であって、(A)ボレートアニオン(以下、場合により「(A)成分」という)と、(B)カルボン酸、前記カルボン酸の塩及び前記カルボン酸の水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種のカルボン酸成分(以下、場合により「(B)成分」という)と、を含有し、前記カルボン酸のプロトン解離性基のプロトン解離エネルギー(以下、場合により「プロトン解離エネルギーE」という)が295.5kJ/mоl以上であり、前記カルボン酸の密度の温度依存性曲線における変曲点温度(以下、場合により「密度変曲点温度T」という)が135.0℃以下である。以下、上述の特定のプロトン解離エネルギーE及び密度変曲点温度Tを有するカルボン酸を「カルボン酸b」と称する。(B)成分は、カルボン酸b、カルボン酸bの塩及びカルボン酸bの水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種のカルボン酸成分である。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、少なくとも一種の重合性化合物を含有しており、重合性化合物として、(A)成分を含む化合物、及び、(B)成分からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含有してよく、(A)成分を含む化合物、及び、(B)成分からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種に該当しない重合性化合物を含有してよい。(A)成分を含む化合物、及び、(B)成分からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種が重合性化合物である場合、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、(A)成分を含む化合物、及び、(B)成分からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種に該当しない重合性化合物を含有してよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、熱硬化性の重合性組成物として用いることができる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物によれば、当該重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させることができる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物によれば、後述の実施例に記載の評価方法において、例えば85.00℃以下(好ましくは、80.00℃以下、75.00℃以下、70.00℃以下、65.00℃以下等)の反応開始温度T1を得ることができる。本実施形態に係る硬化物は、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物を硬化することにより得られ、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の硬化物である。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物によれば、当該重合性組成物の調製後における反応開始温度の経時変化を抑制する(反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得る)ことが可能であり、例えば、各成分を混合して調製された重合性組成物を用いてフィルム状の重合性組成物を得た後における反応開始温度の経時変化を抑制することができる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物によれば、後述の実施例に記載の評価方法において、反応開始温度T1と反応開始温度T2との温度差の絶対値|T2-T1|として例えば50.00℃以下(好ましくは30.00℃以下、10.00℃以下、5.00℃以下、3.00℃以下等)を得ることができる。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の用途としては、特に限定されず、表示装置、半導体装置、電子デバイス用部材等が挙げられる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、マイクロLED(Light Emitting Diode)、マイクロOLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode)等において用いられてよい。本実施形態に係る硬化物は、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の硬化物である。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、(A)成分として、ボレートアニオンを含有する。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、ボレートアニオンを含むホウ素塩((A)成分と(A)成分の対カチオンとの塩。以下、「(a1)成分」という)を含有してよい。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物において(A)成分は、対カチオンと結合していてよく、対カチオンと結合することなく遊離していてもよい。
(A)成分において、ホウ素原子の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、1~4、1~3、又は、1~2であってよい。
(A)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、ナフタレン環(置換又は無置換のナフチル基)を有するボレートアニオンを含んでよく、ホウ素原子に結合するナフタレン環(置換又は無置換のナフチル基)を有するボレートアニオンを含んでよく、アルキルトリアリールボレートアニオン及びテトラアリールボレートアニオンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含んでよく、アルキルトリアリールボレートアニオンを含んでよく、アルキルトリナフチルボレートアニオンを含んでよく、ブチルトリナフチルボレートアニオンを含んでよく、n-ブチルトリナフチルボレートアニオンを含んでよい。
(A)成分において、ナフタレン環の数(一分子中の数)、又は、ホウ素原子に結合するナフタレン環の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、1~4、1~3、2~4、2~3、又は、3~4であってよく、3であってよい。
(A)成分は、無置換のナフタレン環を有してよく、置換基を有するナフタレン環を有してよい。置換基としては、ハロゲン原子、アルキル基、アリール基、アルコキシ基等が挙げられる。
(A)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、ホウ素原子に結合するアルキル基を有してよい。(A)成分において、ホウ素原子に結合するアルキル基の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、1~3、又は、1~2であってよい。
ホウ素原子に結合するアルキル基の炭素数は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、下記の範囲であってよい。アルキル基の炭素数は、1以上、2以上、3以上、又は、4以上であってよい。アルキル基の炭素数は、12以下、10以下、8以下、6以下、5以下、又は、4以下であってよい。これらの観点から、アルキル基の炭素数は、1~12、1~8、1~4、2~12、2~8、2~4、3~12、3~8、3~4、4~12、又は、4~8であってよい。
(A)成分は、ホウ素原子に結合する官能基として、ナフタレン環(ナフチル基)及びアルキル基以外の官能基を有してよい。このような官能基としては、ナフチル基以外のアリール基(例えばフェニル基)等が挙げられる。
(a1)成分における対カチオンとしては、第四級アンモニウムイオン、第三級アンモニウムイオン、第二級アンモニウムイオン、第一級アンモニウムイオン、アンモニウムイオン、イミダゾリウムイオン、イミダゾリニウムイオン、ピリジニウムイオン、アルカリ金属イオン(ナトリウムイオン、カリウムイオン等)、ホスホニウムカチオン、スルホニウムカチオン、ヨードニウムカチオンなどが挙げられる。(a1)成分は、金属イオンを含まなくてよく、金属イオンを含んでもよい。金属イオンとしては、アルカリ金属イオン(ナトリウムイオン、カリウムイオン等)などが挙げられる。(a1)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、対カチオンとして、第四級アンモニウムイオンを含んでよい。
第四級アンモニウムイオンにおいて、窒素原子に結合する置換基としては、アルキル基、アリール基(例えばフェニル基)等が挙げられる。(a1)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、対カチオンとして、窒素原子に結合するアルキル基を有する第四級アンモニウムイオンを含んでよく、窒素原子に結合する直鎖状のアルキル基、及び、窒素原子に結合する分岐状のアルキル基からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を有する第四級アンモニウムイオンを含んでよい。
窒素原子に結合するアルキル基の炭素数は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、下記の範囲であってよい。アルキル基の炭素数は、1以上、2以上、3以上、又は、4以上であってよい。アルキル基の炭素数は、18以下、16以下、14以下、12以下、10以下、8以下、6以下、5以下、又は、4以下であってよい。これらの観点から、アルキル基の炭素数は、1~18、1~8、1~4、2~6、4~18、又は、4~8であってよい。
第四級アンモニウムイオンとしては、テトラアルキルアンモニウムイオン、トリアルキルアンモニウムイオン、ジアルキルアンモニウムイオン、モノアルキルアンモニウムイオン、テトラアリールアンモニウムイオン、トリアリールアンモニウムイオン、ジアリールアンモニウムイオン、モノアリールアンモニウムイオン等が挙げられる。(a1)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、対カチオンとして、テトラアルキルアンモニウムイオンを含んでよい。
テトラアルキルアンモニウムイオンとしては、テトラメチルアンモニウムイオン、テトラエチルアンモニウムイオン、テトラプロピルアンモニウムイオン、テトラブチルアンモニウムイオン、テトラヘキシルアンモニウムイオン、トリエチルメチルアンモニウムイオン、トリブチルエチルアンモニウムイオン、トリメチルデシルアンモニウムイオン等が挙げられる。(a1)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、対カチオンとして、テトラブチルアンモニウムイオンを含んでよい。
(a1)成分の含有量は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、重合性組成物の全質量を基準として下記の範囲であってよい。(a1)成分の含有量は、0.01質量%以上、0.05質量%以上、0.10質量%以上、0.20質量%以上、0.30質量%以上、0.40質量%以上、0.50質量%以上、0.60質量%以上、0.70質量%以上、0.80質量%以上、0.90質量%以上、1.00質量%以上、1.10質量%以上、又は、1.15質量%以上であってよい。(a1)成分の含有量は、20.00質量%以下、15.00質量%以下、10.00質量%以下、8.00質量%以下、7.00質量%以下、6.00質量%以下、5.00質量%以下、4.00質量%以下、3.00質量%以下、2.00質量%以下、1.50質量%以下、又は、1.20質量%以下であってよい。これらの観点から、(a1)成分の含有量は、0.01~20.00質量%、0.30~20.00質量%、0.70~20.00質量%、0.01~5.00質量%、0.30~5.00質量%、0.70~5.00質量%、0.01~2.00質量%、0.30~2.00質量%、又は、0.70~2.00質量%であってよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、(B)成分として、カルボン酸b、カルボン酸bの塩、及び、カルボン酸bの水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種(但し、(a1)成分に該当する化合物を除く)を含有する。カルボン酸bの塩としては、ナトリウム塩、カリウム塩等のアルカリ金属塩などが挙げられる。
カルボン酸bにおいて、カルボキシ基の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、1であってよい。
カルボン酸bは、カルボキシ基以外の官能基を有してよい。置換基としては、ヒドロキシ基、アルキル基(例えばメチル基)、アルコキシ基(例えばメトキシ基)、エステル基、アミノ基(アルキルアミノ基を除く)、アルキルアミノ基(例えばメチルアミノ基)、ニトロ基、アニリノ基、スルホ基、アルキルスルホニル基(例えばメチルスルホニル基)等が挙げられる。
カルボン酸bは、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、ヒドロキシ基、アルキル基、アルコキシ基、エステル基、アミノ基、アルキルアミノ基、ニトロ基、アニリノ基、スルホ基、及び、アルキルスルホニル基からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を有してよく、ヒドロキシ基を有してよい。カルボン酸bにおいて、ヒドロキシ基、アルキル基、アルコキシ基、エステル基、アミノ基、アルキルアミノ基、ニトロ基、アニリノ基、スルホ基、又は、アルキルスルホニル基の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、1~4、1~3、1~2、2~4、2~3、又は、3~4であってよく、2であってよい。
カルボン酸bは、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、芳香族カルボン酸及び脂肪族カルボン酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含んでよく、芳香族カルボン酸を含んでよい。以下、上述の特定のプロトン解離エネルギーE及び密度変曲点温度Tを有するカルボン酸を「芳香族カルボン酸b」と称する。
芳香族カルボン酸bは、少なくとも一つの芳香環を有している。芳香環の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、1又は2であってよく、1であってよい。芳香環としては、ベンゼン環、ナフタレン環等が挙げられる。芳香族カルボン酸bは、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、ベンゼン環を有する芳香族カルボン酸、及び、ナフタレン環を有する芳香族カルボン酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含んでよく、ベンゼン環を有する芳香族カルボン酸を含んでよい。
芳香族カルボン酸bは、芳香環に結合するカルボキシ基を有している。芳香族カルボン酸bは、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、芳香環に結合するヒドロキシ基(フェノール性水酸基)を有する芳香族カルボン酸を含んでよい。
芳香族カルボン酸bにおいて、芳香環に結合するカルボキシ基の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、1であってよい。芳香族カルボン酸bにおいて、ヒドロキシ基の数(一分子中の数)、又は、芳香環に結合するヒドロキシ基の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、1~4、1~3、1~2、2~4、又は、2~3であってよく、2であってよい。
芳香族カルボン酸bは、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、ベンゼン環に結合するカルボキシ基に対してパラ位に結合する官能基を有してよく、ベンゼン環に結合するカルボキシ基に対してメタ位に結合する一つ又は二つの官能基を有してよく、ベンゼン環に結合するカルボキシ基に対してオルト位に結合する一つ又は二つの官能基を有してよい。これらの官能基としては、ヒドロキシ基、アルキル基、アルコキシ基、エステル基、アミノ基、アルキルアミノ基、ニトロ基、アニリノ基、スルホ基、アルキルスルホニル等が挙げられる。
芳香族カルボン酸bとしては、3-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、4-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、5-アミノ-2-ヒドロキシ安息香酸(別名:5-アミノサリチル酸)、2-アミノ-3-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、4-アミノ-3-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、2-アミノ-5-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、2-ヒドロキシ-4-メトキシ安息香酸(別名:4-メトキシサリチル酸)、フタル酸モノメチル、4-ニトロ安息香酸、2,4-ジニトロ安息香酸、3-ヒドロキシ-4-ニトロ安息香酸、3-メチル-2-ニトロ安息香酸、5-ニトロイソフタル酸モノエチル、4-メチルスルホニル-2-ニトロ安息香酸、N-メチル-2-アミノ安息香酸、2-アニリノ安息香酸、3,4-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸(別名:プロトカテク酸)、3,5-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸(別名:α-レソルシル酸)、2,3-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸(別名:2-ピロカテク酸)、2,5-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸(別名:ゲンチジン酸)、2,4-ジヒドロキシ-6-メチル安息香酸(別名:オルセリン酸)、3,4,5-トリヒドロキシ安息香酸(別名:没食子酸)、1-ヒドロキシ-2-ナフトエ酸等が挙げられる。芳香族カルボン酸bは、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を好適に両立しやすい観点から、3-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、4-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、5-アミノ-2-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、2-アミノ-3-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、4-アミノ-3-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、2-アミノ-5-ヒドロキシ安息香酸、2-ヒドロキシ-4-メトキシ安息香酸、フタル酸モノメチル、4-ニトロ安息香酸、2,4-ジニトロ安息香酸、3-ヒドロキシ-4-ニトロ安息香酸、3-メチル-2-ニトロ安息香酸、5-ニトロイソフタル酸モノエチル、4-メチルスルホニル-2-ニトロ安息香酸、N-メチル-2-アミノ安息香酸、2-アニリノ安息香酸、3,4-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、3,5-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、2,3-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、2,5-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、2,4-ジヒドロキシ-6-メチル安息香酸、3,4,5-トリヒドロキシ安息香酸、及び、1-ヒドロキシ-2-ナフトエ酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含んでよく、3,4-ジヒドロキシ安息香酸を含んでよい。
カルボン酸bのプロトン解離性基のプロトン解離エネルギーEは、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させる観点から、295.5kJ/mоl以上である。カルボン酸bは、プロトン解離性基としてカルボキシ基を有しており、カルボキシ基以外のプロトン解離性基を更に有してよい。カルボキシ基以外のプロトン解離性基としては、カルボキシ基、ヒドロキシ基、スルホ基等が挙げられる。カルボン酸bが複数のカルボキシ基を有する場合、又は、カルボン酸bがカルボキシ基以外のプロトン解離性基を有する場合、プロトン解離エネルギーEは、カルボン酸bの複数のプロトン解離性基のプロトン解離エネルギーEにおける最小値を対象とする。プロトン解離エネルギーEは、後述の実施例に記載の方法により算出可能であり、密度汎関数法に基づき、プログラムGaussian16(Gaussian社製)、汎関数B3LYP、基底関数6-31G(d)の条件の量子化学計算により算出できる。
プロトン解離エネルギーEは、上述のとおり295.5kJ/mоl以上であり、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を好適に両立しやすい観点から、下記の範囲(便宜上、単位「kJ/mоl」の表示を省略する)であってよい。プロトン解離エネルギーEは、300.0以上、305.0以上、308.0以上、310.0以上、315.0以上、316.0以上、320.0以上、325.0以上、330.0以上、340.0以上、345.0以上、350.0以上、360.0以上、365.0以上、370.0以上、373.0以上、375.0以上、377.0以上、380.0以上、400.0以上、450.0以上、452.0以上、454.0以上、455.0以上、又は、456.0以上であってよい。プロトン解離エネルギーEは、500.0以下、480.0以下、460.0以下、456.0以下、455.0以下、454.0以下、452.0以下、450.0以下、400.0以下、380.0以下、377.0以下、375.0以下、373.0以下、370.0以下、365.0以下、360.0以下、350.0以下、345.0以下、340.0以下、330.0以下、325.0以下、320.0以下、316.0以下、315.0以下、310.0以下、308.0以下、又は、305.0以下であってよい。これらの観点から、プロトン解離エネルギーEは、295.5~500.0、310.0~500.0、320.0~500.0、295.5~400.0、310.0~400.0、320.0~400.0、295.5~350.0、310.0~350.0、又は、320.0~350.0であってよい。
カルボン酸bの密度の温度依存性曲線(密度の温度依存性を示す曲線:密度と温度との関係を示す曲線)における密度変曲点温度Tは、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得る観点から、135.0℃以下である。密度変曲点温度Tは、カルボン酸bの密度の温度依存性曲線における低温側領域及び高温側領域のそれぞれの近似直線を延長した交点の温度であり、温度範囲280~500Kにおける10K毎の温度依存性曲線における低温側領域(末端の280Kから5つの測定点)及び高温側領域(末端の500Kから5つの測定点)のそれぞれの近似直線を延長して交わる交点の温度である。温度依存性曲線は、後述の実施例に記載の方法により得ることが可能であり、分子動力学計算(プログラム:GROMACS 2020、力場:GAFF2、電荷:RESP(プログラムGaussian16(Gaussian社製)により計算、B3LYP/6-31G(d)//HF/6-31G(d)))に基づき、温度範囲280~500Kにおける10K毎の密度を取得することにより得ることができる。
密度変曲点温度Tは、上述のとおり135.0℃以下であり、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を好適に両立しやすい観点から、下記の範囲であってよい。密度変曲点温度Tは、130.0℃以下、125.0℃以下、120.0℃以下、115.0℃以下、110.0℃以下、105.0℃以下、100.0℃以下、95.0℃以下、90.0℃以下、85.0℃以下、80.0℃以下、75.0℃以下、70.0℃以下、65.0℃以下、60.0℃以下、又は、55.0℃以下であってよい。密度変曲点温度Tは、30.0℃以上、35.0℃以上、40.0℃以上、45.0℃以上、50.0℃以上、55.0℃以上、60.0℃以上、65.0℃以上、70.0℃以上、75.0℃以上、80.0℃以上、85.0℃以上、90.0℃以上、95.0℃以上、100.0℃以上、105.0℃以上、110.0℃以上、115.0℃以上、又は、120.0℃以上であってよい。これらの観点から、密度変曲点温度Tは、30.0~135.0℃、70.0~135.0℃、100.0~135.0℃、30.0~125.0℃、70.0~125.0℃、100.0~125.0℃、30.0~120.0℃、70.0~120.0℃、又は、100.0~120.0℃であってよい。
(B)成分の含有量は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、重合性組成物に含まれるカルボン酸(カルボン酸b、及び、カルボン酸bに該当しないカルボン酸:塩及び水和物についても同様)、カルボン酸の塩、及び、カルボン酸の水和物の合計量を基準として、50.00質量%以上、50.00質量%超、70.00質量%以上、80.00質量%以上、90.00質量%以上、92.00質量%以上、95.00質量%以上、97.00質量%以上、98.00質量%以上、99.00質量%以上、又は、実質的に100.00質量%であってよい。
(B)成分の含有量は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、重合性組成物の全質量を基準として下記の範囲であってよい。(B)成分の含有量は、0.01質量%以上、0.05質量%以上、0.10質量%以上、0.30質量%以上、0.50質量%以上、0.80質量%以上、1.00質量%以上、1.05質量%以上、1.10質量%以上、1.15質量%以上、1.20質量%以上、又は、1.25質量%以上であってよい。(B)成分の含有量は、10.00質量%以下、8.00質量%以下、6.00質量%以下、5.00質量%以下、4.00質量%以下、3.00質量%以下、2.50質量%以下、2.00質量%以下、1.90質量%以下、1.80質量%以下、1.60質量%以下、1.50質量%以下、1.40質量%以下、又は、1.30質量%以下であってよい。これらの観点から、(B)成分の含有量は、0.01~10.00質量%、0.01~2.50質量%、0.01~1.50質量%、0.50~10.00質量%、0.50~2.50質量%、0.50~1.50質量%、1.00~10.00質量%、1.00~2.50質量%、又は、1.00~1.50質量%であってよい。
(a1)成分の含有量に対する(B)成分の含有量の質量比R1((B)成分/(a1)成分)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、下記の範囲であってよい。質量比R1は、0.01以上、0.05以上、0.10以上、0.20以上、0.30以上、0.40以上、0.50以上、0.60以上、0.70以上、0.80以上、0.90以上、又は、1.00以上であってよい。質量比R1は、10.00以下、8.00以下、6.00以下、5.00以下、4.50以下、4.00以下、3.50以下、3.00以下、2.50以下、2.00以下、1.80以下、1.50以下、又は、1.20以下であってよい。これらの観点から、質量比R1は、0.01~10.00、0.01~6.00、0.01~3.00、0.30~10.00、0.30~6.00、0.30~3.00、0.50~10.00、0.50~6.00、又は、0.50~3.00であってよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、(C)成分として、P=O(OH)構造を有するリン化合物(但し、(a1)成分又は(B)成分に該当する化合物を除く。以下、場合により「(C)成分」という)を含有してよい。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、重合性化合物として(C)成分を含有してよく、(C)成分に該当しない重合性化合物を含有してよい。P=O(OH)構造を有するリン化合物では、下記一般式(c1)に示すとおり、二重結合を介してリン原子に酸素原子が結合すると共に、単結合を介して当該リン原子にヒドロキシ基が結合している。(C)成分において、P=O(OH)構造の数(一分子中の数)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、1であってよい。
c11は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、1~2、又は、2~3であってよい。
(C)成分は、リン原子に結合する官能基として、ヒドロキシ基とは異なる1価の基(一般式(c1)のRc1)を有してよい。当該1価の基としては、置換又は無置換のアルキル基、置換又は無置換のアリール基(例えばフェニル基)、(メタ)アクリロイル基含有基等が挙げられる。(メタ)アクリロイル基含有基は、アクリロイル基及びメタクリロイル基からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を有する基である。
(C)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、P=O(OH)構造を有する(メタ)アクリレート化合物、リン酸、及び、フェニルホスホン酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含んでよく、P=O(OH)構造を有する(メタ)アクリレート化合物を含んでよく、下記一般式(c2)で表される化合物を含んでよい。
c23は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、1~8、1~6、1~5、3~8、3~6、3~5、5~8、又は、5~6であってよい。c24は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、1~4、2~4、1~3、又は、1~2であってよい。
(C)成分の含有量は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、重合性組成物に含まれるリン含有化合物(リン原子を含む化合物)の全質量を基準として、50.00質量%以上、50.00質量%超、70.00質量%以上、80.00質量%以上、90.00質量%以上、92.00質量%以上、95.00質量%以上、97.00質量%以上、98.00質量%以上、99.00質量%以上、又は、実質的に100.00質量%であってよい。

(B)成分の含有量に対する(C)成分の含有量の質量比R22((C)成分/(B)成分)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点、及び、反応開始温度に関する優れた保存安定性を得やすい観点から、下記の範囲であってよい。質量比R22は、0.01以上、0.05以上、0.10以上、0.15以上、0.20以上、0.25以上、0.30以上、0.35以上、0.40以上、0.45以上、0.50以上、0.55以上、0.60以上、0.65以上、又は、0.70以上であってよい。質量比R22は、5.00以下、4.00以下、3.00以下、2.00以下、1.50以下、1.00以下、0.90以下、0.85以下、0.80以下、又は、0.75以下であってよい。これらの観点から、質量比R22は、0.01~5.00、0.01~1.50、0.01~0.80、0.20~5.00、0.20~1.50、0.20~0.80、0.40~5.00、0.40~1.50、又は、0.40~0.80であってよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、(D)成分として、重合性化合物(但し、(a1)成分、(B)成分又は(C)成分に該当する化合物を除く)を含有してよい。
(D)成分としては、ラジカル重合性化合物、カチオン重合性化合物、アニオン重合性化合物等が挙げられる。(D)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、ラジカル重合性化合物を含んでよい。
(D)成分としては、(メタ)アクリレート化合物、マレイミド化合物、ビニルエーテル化合物、アリル化合物、スチレン化合物、(メタ)アクリルアミド化合物、ナジイミド化合物、天然ゴム、イソプレンゴム、ブチルゴム、ニトリルゴム、ブタジエンゴム、スチレン-ブタジエンゴム、アクリロニトリル-ブタジエンゴム、カルボキシル化ニトリルゴム、エポキシ化合物、オキセタン化合物、ラクトン化合物等が挙げられる。(D)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、エチレン性不飽和結合を有する化合物を含んでよく、(メタ)アクリレート化合物を含んでよい。

(D)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、ポリカーボネート骨格を有するウレタン(メタ)アクリレート化合物(以下、「(d1)成分」という)を含んでよく、ポリカーボネートポリオール由来の構造を有するウレタン(メタ)アクリレート化合物を含んでよく、下記一般式(d1)で表される化合物を含んでよい。
一般式(d1)において、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、jは1~2又は2~3であってよく、kは2~3又は3~5であってよく、mは1~6、1~4又は1~2であってよく、nは5~6又は6~7であってよい。
(d1)成分の重量平均分子量は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、1000以上、3000以上、5000以上、8000以上、10000以上、12000以上、13000以上、14000以上、又は、15000以上であってよい。(d1)成分の重量平均分子量は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、100000以下、50000以下、30000以下、25000以下、20000以下、18000以下、又は、15000以下であってよい。これらの観点から、(d1)成分の重量平均分子量は、1000~100000、5000~50000、又は、10000~30000であってよい。

(D)成分の含有量に対する(E)成分の含有量の質量比R44((E)成分/(D)成分)は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、下記の範囲であってよい。質量比R44は、0.01以上、0.03以上、0.05以上、0.08以上、又は、0.10以上であってよい。質量比R44は、5.00以下、3.00以下、1.00以下、0.50以下、0.30以下、0.20以下、又は、0.15以下であってよい。これらの観点から、質量比R44は、0.01~5.00、0.01~1.00、0.01~0.50、0.05~5.00、0.05~1.00、0.05~0.50、0.10~5.00、0.10~1.00、又は、0.10~0.50であってよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、(F)成分として、熱可塑性樹脂を含有してよい。
(F)成分としては、フェノキシ樹脂、ポリエステル、ポリウレタン(ポリエステルウレタンを除く)、ポリエステルウレタン、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体、ブチラール樹脂等が挙げられる。(F)成分は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、ポリエステルウレタン及びエチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含んでよい。
(F)成分の含有量は、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度を低下させやすい観点から、重合性組成物の全質量を基準として下記の範囲であってよい。(F)成分の含有量は、10.00質量%以上、15.00質量%以上、20.00質量%以上、25.00質量%以上、30.00質量%以上、35.00質量%以上、40.00質量%以上、45.00質量%以上、又は、50.00質量%以上であってよい。(F)成分の含有量は、90.00質量%以下、85.00質量%以下、80.00質量%以下、75.00質量%以下、70.00質量%以下、65.00質量%以下、60.00質量%以下、又は、55.00質量%以下であってよい。これらの観点から、(F)成分の含有量は、10.00~90.00質量%、10.00~70.00質量%、10.00~60.00質量%、30.00~90.00質量%、30.00~70.00質量%、30.00~60.00質量%、40.00~90.00質量%、40.00~70.00質量%、又は、40.00~60.00質量%であってよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、上述の成分以外の成分を含有してよい。このような成分としては、水、有機溶媒、カップリング剤、フィラー、軟化剤、促進剤、劣化防止剤、着色剤、難燃化剤、チキソトロピック剤等が挙げられる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、これらの成分の少なくとも一種を含有してよく、これらの成分の少なくとも一種を含有しなくてもよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物は、フィルム状であってよい。フィルム状の重合性組成物の厚さ、又は、本実施形態に係る硬化物の厚さは、下記の範囲であってよい。厚さは、1μm以上、3μm以上、5μm以上、8μm以上、10μm以上、12μm以上、15μm以上、18μm以上、又は、20μm以上であってよい。厚さは、500μm以下、300μm以下、200μm以下、100μm以下、80μm以下、50μm以下、30μm以下、又は、20μm以下であってよい。これらの観点から、厚さは、1~500μm、1~100μm、1~50μm、5~500μm、5~100μm、5~50μm、10~500μm、10~100μm、又は、10~50μmであってよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の選定方法(スクリーニング方法)は、重合性化合物を含有する重合性組成物の選定方法であり、カルボン酸のプロトン解離性基のプロトン解離エネルギー(プロトン解離エネルギーE)、及び、カルボン酸の密度の温度依存性曲線における変曲点温度(密度変曲点温度T)に基づき、ボレートアニオンと、カルボン酸、カルボン酸の塩及びカルボン酸の水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種のカルボン酸成分と、を含有する重合性組成物を選定する。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の選定方法によれば、プロトン解離エネルギーE及び密度変曲点温度Tに基づきカルボン酸を選定し、ボレートアニオンと、当該カルボン酸、当該カルボン酸の塩及び当該カルボン酸の水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種のカルボン酸成分と、を含有する重合性組成物を選定することにより、重合性組成物の調製初期における反応開始温度、及び、重合性組成物の調製後における反応開始温度の経時変化を調整することが可能であり、所望の反応開始温度及びその経時変化の重合性組成物を得ることができる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の選定方法によれば、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物を選定することができる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の選定方法では、ボレートアニオンと、プロトン解離エネルギーEが295.5kJ/mоl以上であると共に密度変曲点温度Tが135.0℃以下であるカルボン酸b、カルボン酸bの塩及びカルボン酸bの水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種のカルボン酸成分と、を含有する重合性組成物を選定してよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の製造方法は、ボレートアニオンと、カルボン酸b、カルボン酸bの塩及びカルボン酸bの水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種のカルボン酸成分と、を混合する混合工程を備える。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の製造方法によれば、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物を得ることができる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の製造方法は、混合工程の前に、カルボン酸のプロトン解離性基のプロトン解離エネルギー(プロトン解離エネルギーE)、及び、カルボン酸の密度の温度依存性曲線における変曲点温度(密度変曲点温度T)に基づきカルボン酸bを選定する工程を備えてよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の選定方法及び重合性組成物の製造方法では、ボレートアニオンとして、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の(A)成分と同様のボレートアニオンを用いることができる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の選定方法及び重合性組成物の製造方法におけるボレートアニオンは、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の(A)成分に関して上述した各特徴を満たしてよい。
本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の選定方法及び重合性組成物の製造方法では、カルボン酸成分として、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の(B)成分と同様の成分を用いることができる。本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の選定方法及び重合性組成物の製造方法におけるカルボン酸成分は、本実施形態に係る重合性組成物の(B)成分に関して上述した各特徴を満たしてよい。
以下、実施例及び比較例を用いて本開示について更に説明するが、本開示は下記実施例に限定されるものではない。
<ウレタンアクリレート(UA1)の合成>
攪拌機、温度計、塩化カルシウム乾燥管を有する還流冷却管、及び、窒素ガス導入管を備えた反応容器に、ポリ(1,6-ヘキサンジオールカーボネート)(商品名:デュラノールT5652、旭化成ケミカルズ株式会社製)2500質量部(2.50mol)と、イソホロンジイソシアネート(シグマアルドリッチ社製)666質量部(3.00mol)とを3時間かけて均一に滴下した。次いで、反応容器に充分に窒素ガスを導入した後、反応容器内を70~75℃に加熱して反応させた。次に、反応容器に、ハイドロキノンモノメチルエーテル(シグマアルドリッチ社製)0.53質量部(4.3mmol)と、ジブチル錫ジラウレート(シグマアルドリッチ社製)5.53質量部(8.8mmol)とを添加した後、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(シグマアルドリッチ社製)238質量部(2.05mol)を加え、空気雰囲気下、70℃で6時間反応させた。これにより、ポリカーボネート骨格を有するウレタンアクリレート(UA1)を得た。ウレタンアクリレート(UA1)の重量平均分子量は15000であった。
攪拌機、温度計、塩化カルシウム乾燥管を有する還流冷却管、及び、窒素ガス導入管を備えた反応容器に、ポリ(1,6-ヘキサンジオールカーボネート)(商品名:デュラノールT5652、旭化成ケミカルズ株式会社製)2500質量部(2.50mol)と、イソホロンジイソシアネート(シグマアルドリッチ社製)666質量部(3.00mol)とを3時間かけて均一に滴下した。次いで、反応容器に充分に窒素ガスを導入した後、反応容器内を70~75℃に加熱して反応させた。次に、反応容器に、ハイドロキノンモノメチルエーテル(シグマアルドリッチ社製)0.53質量部(4.3mmol)と、ジブチル錫ジラウレート(シグマアルドリッチ社製)5.53質量部(8.8mmol)とを添加した後、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(シグマアルドリッチ社製)238質量部(2.05mol)を加え、空気雰囲気下、70℃で6時間反応させた。これにより、ポリカーボネート骨格を有するウレタンアクリレート(UA1)を得た。ウレタンアクリレート(UA1)の重量平均分子量は15000であった。
<ポリエステルウレタン(EU1)の合成>
攪拌機、温度計、コンデンサ、真空発生装置及び窒素ガス導入管が備え付けられたヒーター付きステンレス製オートクレーブに、イソフタル酸48質量部及びネオペンチルグリコール37質量部を投入した後、触媒としてテトラブトキシチタネート0.02質量部を投入した。次いで、窒素気流下220℃まで昇温し、そのまま8時間攪拌した。その後、大気圧(760mmHg)まで減圧し、室温まで冷却した。これにより、白色の沈殿物を析出させた後、この沈殿物を取り出した。この沈殿物を水洗した後、真空乾燥することでポリエステルポリオールを得た。このポリエステルポリオールを充分に乾燥した後、MEK(メチルエチルケトン)に溶解し、攪拌機、滴下漏斗、還流冷却機及び窒素ガス導入管を取り付けた四つ口フラスコに投入した。また、ポリエステルポリオール100質量部に対して0.05質量部の量のジブチル錫ジラウレート(触媒)を投入し、ポリエステルポリオール100質量部に対して50質量部の量の4,4’-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートをMEKに溶解して滴下漏斗で投入した。そして、80℃で4時間攪拌することでポリエステルウレタン(EU1)を得た。
攪拌機、温度計、コンデンサ、真空発生装置及び窒素ガス導入管が備え付けられたヒーター付きステンレス製オートクレーブに、イソフタル酸48質量部及びネオペンチルグリコール37質量部を投入した後、触媒としてテトラブトキシチタネート0.02質量部を投入した。次いで、窒素気流下220℃まで昇温し、そのまま8時間攪拌した。その後、大気圧(760mmHg)まで減圧し、室温まで冷却した。これにより、白色の沈殿物を析出させた後、この沈殿物を取り出した。この沈殿物を水洗した後、真空乾燥することでポリエステルポリオールを得た。このポリエステルポリオールを充分に乾燥した後、MEK(メチルエチルケトン)に溶解し、攪拌機、滴下漏斗、還流冷却機及び窒素ガス導入管を取り付けた四つ口フラスコに投入した。また、ポリエステルポリオール100質量部に対して0.05質量部の量のジブチル錫ジラウレート(触媒)を投入し、ポリエステルポリオール100質量部に対して50質量部の量の4,4’-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートをMEKに溶解して滴下漏斗で投入した。そして、80℃で4時間攪拌することでポリエステルウレタン(EU1)を得た。
<重合性組成物の調製>
ホウ素塩(テトラブチルアンモニウム=ブチルトリナフチルボレート、株式会社レゾナック製、商品名:カレンズN3B)のメチルエチルケトン溶液(固形分割合:20質量%)と、表1に示す種類の酸成分と、ウレタンアクリレート(UA1)と、イソシアヌル酸エチレンオキシド変性ジアクリレート(東亞合成株式会社製、商品名:M-215)と、ジメチロールトリシクロデカンジアクリレート(共栄社化学株式会社製、商品名:ライトアクリレートDCP-A)と、重合開始剤(ジアシルパーオキサイド、日油株式会社製、商品名:パーロイルL)のトルエン溶液(固形分割合:20質量%)と、ポリエステルウレタン(EU1)のメチルエチルケトン/トルエン混合溶液(質量比:1/1、固形分割合:40質量%)と、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体(デュポン株式会社製、商品名:EV40W)のトルエン溶液(固形分割合:30質量%)と、を混合することにより重合性組成物を調製した。ホウ素塩の使用量(固形分量)は1.29質量部であり、酸成分の使用量(固形分量)は1.41質量部であり、ウレタンアクリレート(UA1)の使用量は25.00質量部であり、イソシアヌル酸エチレンオキシド変性ジアクリレートの使用量は10.00質量部であり、ジメチロールトリシクロデカンジアクリレートの使用量は10.00質量部であり、重合開始剤の使用量(固形分量)は5.00質量部であり、ポリエステルウレタン(EU1)の使用量(固形分量)は47.50質量部であり、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体の使用量(固形分量)は7.50質量部であった。実施例及び比較例の各酸成分として、富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製の酸成分を用いた。
ホウ素塩(テトラブチルアンモニウム=ブチルトリナフチルボレート、株式会社レゾナック製、商品名:カレンズN3B)のメチルエチルケトン溶液(固形分割合:20質量%)と、表1に示す種類の酸成分と、ウレタンアクリレート(UA1)と、イソシアヌル酸エチレンオキシド変性ジアクリレート(東亞合成株式会社製、商品名:M-215)と、ジメチロールトリシクロデカンジアクリレート(共栄社化学株式会社製、商品名:ライトアクリレートDCP-A)と、重合開始剤(ジアシルパーオキサイド、日油株式会社製、商品名:パーロイルL)のトルエン溶液(固形分割合:20質量%)と、ポリエステルウレタン(EU1)のメチルエチルケトン/トルエン混合溶液(質量比:1/1、固形分割合:40質量%)と、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体(デュポン株式会社製、商品名:EV40W)のトルエン溶液(固形分割合:30質量%)と、を混合することにより重合性組成物を調製した。ホウ素塩の使用量(固形分量)は1.29質量部であり、酸成分の使用量(固形分量)は1.41質量部であり、ウレタンアクリレート(UA1)の使用量は25.00質量部であり、イソシアヌル酸エチレンオキシド変性ジアクリレートの使用量は10.00質量部であり、ジメチロールトリシクロデカンジアクリレートの使用量は10.00質量部であり、重合開始剤の使用量(固形分量)は5.00質量部であり、ポリエステルウレタン(EU1)の使用量(固形分量)は47.50質量部であり、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体の使用量(固形分量)は7.50質量部であった。実施例及び比較例の各酸成分として、富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製の酸成分を用いた。
<プロトン解離エネルギーE及び密度変曲点温度Tの算出>
実施例及び比較例の各酸成分のプロトン解離エネルギーE及び密度変曲点温度Tを下記の手順で算出した。

(プロトン解離エネルギーE)
対象の酸成分の構造最適化を量子化学計算により行い、「酸成分の分子全体のエネルギーE1」、「酸成分のプロトン解離性基から解離対象のプロトンが解離した際の分子全体のエネルギーE2」、及び、「解離したプロトン単体のエネルギーE3」を算出した。量子化学計算は、密度汎関数法に基づき、プログラムGaussian16(Gaussian社製)、汎関数B3LYP、基底関数6-31G(d)の条件で行った。そして、「プロトン解離エネルギーE = (E2+E3)-E1」に基づきプロトン解離エネルギーEを算出した。酸成分に含まれる全てのプロトン解離性基についてプロトン解離エネルギーEを算出した。実施例及び比較例の各酸成分におけるプロトン解離性基のプロトン解離エネルギーEの最小値を表1に示す。

(密度変曲点温度T)
Packmolプログラムを用いて、10000原子程度になるように対象の酸成分の分子をパッキングすることにより初期構造を得た。この初期構造を用いて、温度範囲280~500Kに関する分子動力学計算(プログラム:GROMACS 2020、力場:GAFF2、電荷:RESP(プログラムGaussian16(Gaussian社製)により計算、B3LYP/6-31G(d)//HF/6-31G(d)))を次の手順で行うことにより温度毎の密度を得た。まず、温度500Kにおいて緩和計算を行い平衡化させた。平衡化後、10nsの間、サンプリングを行って密度を取得した。温度を10K下げて緩和計算を行い平衡化させた後、10nsの間、サンプリングを行って密度を取得する操作を温度280Kまで繰り返した。
Packmolプログラムを用いて、10000原子程度になるように対象の酸成分の分子をパッキングすることにより初期構造を得た。この初期構造を用いて、温度範囲280~500Kに関する分子動力学計算(プログラム:GROMACS 2020、力場:GAFF2、電荷:RESP(プログラムGaussian16(Gaussian社製)により計算、B3LYP/6-31G(d)//HF/6-31G(d)))を次の手順で行うことにより温度毎の密度を得た。まず、温度500Kにおいて緩和計算を行い平衡化させた。平衡化後、10nsの間、サンプリングを行って密度を取得した。温度を10K下げて緩和計算を行い平衡化させた後、10nsの間、サンプリングを行って密度を取得する操作を温度280Kまで繰り返した。
次に、各温度で取得された密度を温度に対してプロットすることにより密度の温度依存性曲線を得た。低温側領域の末端5点(末端の280Kから5つの測定点)及び高温側領域の末端5点(末端の500Kから5つの測定点)のそれぞれにおいて近似直線を求めた後、二つの近似直線を延長して交わる交点の温度(単位:K)から273.15を差し引くことにより密度変曲点温度T(単位:℃)を得た。実施例及び比較例の各酸成分における密度変曲点温度Tを表1に示す。
<評価>
バーコーター(株式会社康井精機製、商品名「KNIFE COATER SNC-300」)を用いて上述の重合性組成物をPETフィルム(剥離処理あり、厚さ:50μm)に塗布した後、60℃のオーブンで3分間乾燥させることにより、PETフィルム上に配置された厚さ20μmのフィルム状の重合性組成物を備える積層フィルムを作製した。
バーコーター(株式会社康井精機製、商品名「KNIFE COATER SNC-300」)を用いて上述の重合性組成物をPETフィルム(剥離処理あり、厚さ:50μm)に塗布した後、60℃のオーブンで3分間乾燥させることにより、PETフィルム上に配置された厚さ20μmのフィルム状の重合性組成物を備える積層フィルムを作製した。
作製直後の上述の積層フィルムからPETフィルムを剥離した後、フィルム状の重合性組成物の硬化発熱挙動を示差走査熱分析(Differential Scanning Calorimetry、以下「DSC」と称する)で測定し、重合の反応開始温度の指標として発熱ピークのオンセット温度を得た。DSC測定は下記条件で行い、反応開始温度T1を得た。また、実施例における作製直後の上述の積層フィルムをナイロンポリ袋(福助工業株式会社製、商品名「ナイロンポリSタイプ」)に入れた後、真空脱気シーラーを用いてこの袋を密閉して積層フィルムを封入した。さらに、この袋をアルミニウム製の遮光袋に入れた。この状態で積層フィルムを25℃で24時間放置した後、積層フィルムを遮光袋から取り出し、上述の手順と同様の手順で反応開始温度T2を得た。そして、反応開始温度の差「T2-T1」を算出した。結果を表1に示す。

- 重合性化合物を含有する重合性組成物の選定方法であって、
カルボン酸のプロトン解離性基のプロトン解離エネルギー、及び、前記カルボン酸の密度の温度依存性曲線における変曲点温度に基づき、ボレートアニオンと、前記カルボン酸、前記カルボン酸の塩及び前記カルボン酸の水和物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、を含有する重合性組成物を選定する、重合性組成物の選定方法。 - 前記ボレートアニオンが、ナフタレン環を有するボレートアニオンを含む、請求項1に記載の重合性組成物の選定方法。
- 前記ボレートアニオンがアルキルトリアリールボレートアニオンを含む、請求項1に記載の重合性組成物の選定方法。
- 前記カルボン酸が芳香族カルボン酸を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の重合性組成物の選定方法。
- 前記カルボン酸におけるヒドロキシ基の数が2である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の重合性組成物の選定方法。
- 前記重合性化合物が(メタ)アクリレート化合物を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の重合性組成物の選定方法。
