  • This disclosure relates to a water-permeable mat, a pet toilet system, and a packaging body.
  • Patent Document 1 describes a pet system toilet that includes a tray, an absorbent sheet placed on the tray, and a cardboard panel with a corrugated honeycomb structure placed on the absorbent mat.
  • a pet system toilet when a pet sits on the panel to urinate, the urine passes through the panel and is absorbed by the absorbent sheet.
  • the panel on the absorbent sheet By placing the panel on the absorbent sheet, the pet does not come into direct contact with the absorbent sheet, and as a result, the urine absorbed by the absorbent sheet is prevented from flowing back up into the pet's legs.
  • Patent Document 1 is made of cardboard and has a hard, uneven surface, which may not suit the preferences of some pets and they may avoid using the toilet. It is difficult to promote the use of pet toilet systems unless a comfortable excretion environment is provided for pets.
  • the present disclosure therefore aims to provide a water-permeable mat that can provide a comfortable excretion environment for pets, a pet toilet system that includes the water-permeable mat, and a package that contains the water-permeable mat.
  • a water-permeable mat for pets is placed on an absorbent sheet for use.
  • the water-permeable mat has a porous structure, and in a dry state, a compression work (WC value) according to a KES compression test is 13 gf cm/cm2 or more and 60 gf cm/cm2 or less .
  • the compression work load in the KES compression test is the work load up to the maximum pressure when the water-permeable mat is compressed in the thickness direction, and the higher this value, the softer the water-permeable mat is and the easier it is to compress.

Abstract

Description
