Definitions

  • the present application relates to the field of battery technology, and in particular to a positive electrode material and a preparation method thereof, a positive electrode plate, a battery and an electrical device.
  • lithium-ion batteries can reversibly convert chemical energy into electrical energy and are an ideal carrier for human use and storage of energy. Since the advent of lithium-ion batteries, they have been widely used due to their advantages such as long life, high energy density and low maintenance cost. Currently, lithium-ion batteries have been used in many fields such as portable electronic devices, new energy vehicles, and energy storage systems.
  • positive electrode active materials As a key factor affecting the performance of lithium-ion batteries, positive electrode active materials often determine the cycle life, energy density and power density of lithium-ion batteries. Affected by the preparation process of positive electrode active materials or the characteristics of positive electrode active materials themselves, residual lithium compounds (RLCs) such as lithium hydroxide, lithium carbonate, lithium oxide, etc. are easily formed on the surface of positive electrode active materials. Usually, residual lithium compounds have poor conductivity, which will increase the impedance of the positive electrode/electrolyte interface, aggravate battery polarization, deteriorate discharge capacity and cycle stability, and have a negative impact on battery performance.

This is because the conductivity of sulfur itself is poor. Adding only sulfur will make the conductivity of the positive electrode material poor, increase the polarization of the battery, and at the same time, the sulfur is not sufficiently anchored in the positive electrode active material NCM, and it is easy to detach from the positive electrode active material NCM, so that the sulfur reacts insufficiently with the residual lithium compound, and the capacity of the battery cannot be effectively maintained.

This is because the conductivity of the positive electrode material is improved by adding only carbon fiber, but the residual lithium compounds on the surface of the positive electrode active material NCM cannot be eliminated. • Example 3 In addition, from the comparison of Example 3 and Example 10 in Table 1, it can be seen that a plurality of coating layers are arranged on the surface of the positive electrode active material NCM, and from the inside to the outside, the content of elemental sulfur in each coating layer decreases successively, and the capacity retention rate of the battery after storage is significantly improved.

将一维导电材料和添加剂进行混合处理得到混合料,所述添加剂包含具有还原性的硫属元素;
将所述混合料进行烧结处理以使得所述添加剂融化,至少部分所述一维导电材料被所述添加剂包裹,从而得到烧结料;

例如,“a,b,或c中的至少一项(个)”,或,“a,b,和c中的至少一项(个)”,均可以表示:a,b,c,a-b(即a和b),a-c,b-c,或a-b-c,其中a,b,c分别可以是单个,也可以是多个。

将一维导电材料和添加剂进行混合处理得到混合料,添加剂包含具有还原性的硫属元素;
将混合料进行烧结处理以使得添加剂融化,至少部分一维导电材料被添加剂包裹,从而得到烧结料;
