Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of display technology, and in particular to a display panel, a display device and a crack detection method.
- a detection module or circuit is usually set up around the periphery of the display panel to detect whether there are crack defects in the periphery (edge area) of the display panel during production and transportation.
- the following two detection methods are usually used: eddy current detection (ET detection) and resistance detection.
- Eddy current detection is to determine whether there are cracks around the panel by detecting whether there are bright lines on the screen through the panel crack detection (PCD, Panel Crack Detection) circuit; resistance detection is to detect the resistance between the PCD circuits, and determine whether there are cracks by whether the resistance value is abnormal.
