Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a bracket for a moving body for mounting a propulsion device that generates a propulsive force to propel the moving body to the moving body, and a propulsion device support mechanism that supports the propulsion device on the frame of the moving body.
  • the electric wheelchair described in Patent Document 1 has an electric motor attached to each of the left and right rear wheels, and the electric motors are controlled by a control circuit.
  • the control circuit detects the operating force using an operating force detection unit in the operating unit held by the caregiver, and when an operating force for propelling the wheelchair is input to the operating unit, it outputs a driving force based on that operating force to the motor, and when the operating force is no longer applied, it gradually increases the braking force from zero.
  • the electric motor or control circuit fails, the electric motor becomes a load when the caregiver pushes the wheelchair forward or backward, and a greater force is required to move the wheelchair than in a non-electric wheelchair. Furthermore, if the electric motor or control circuit fails, the electric motor can be prevented from becoming a load by removing the electric motor from the wheels, but electric wheelchairs that are assembled on the premise that the wheels are driven by the electric motor, such as the one described in Patent Document 1, are not configured so that general users such as caregivers can remove the electric motor.
