Definitions

  • the present invention relates to elevator equipment, and in particular to the configuration of a control panel used in an elevator equipment.
  • Patent Document 1 describes a control device that is installed in the hoistway of an elevator system without a machine room and has operation control devices, power receiving devices, a power storage device, etc. mounted on a control panel, in which the control panel is installed on the wall of the hoistway so that the bottom surface of the control panel's housing is positioned above the top surface of the car stopped at the lowest floor (see abstract).
  • the electric wires (electrical wiring including power lines, signal lines, etc.) of the hoist and the equipment installed in the hoist can be routed to the control panel through a pit section formed in the bottom of the hoistway.
  • the hoist and control panel are installed at the top of the hoistway, it is not possible to route the wires through the pit section, making it difficult to route the wires from one side of the control panel to the other side. If it is possible to ensure sufficient gaps on the back of the control panel, the gaps on the back can be used to route the wires. However, if it is difficult to ensure sufficient gaps on the back of the control panel due to the miniaturization of the hoistway, it becomes difficult to route the wires using the gaps on the back.
