Es wird ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen eines Korrekturwertes in einer primärseitigen Ladeplatte (105) beim Messen von Energie für eine sekundäre Ladeplatte (104) angegeben, aufweisend das Auswählen von zumindest einer fehlerbehafteten oder verlustbehafteten Komponente (601, 602, 603) in der primärseitigen Ladeplatte (105), wobei die zumindest eine fehlerbehaftete oder verlustbehaftete Komponente (601, 602, 603) durch zumindest einen Fehler oder verlust beeinflusst wird, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe von Fehlern bestehend aus einem Messfehler (P GA,err ) gegenüber einem Vergleichswert, einem intrinsischen Verlust (P intr ) und einem Messverlust (P MVA,err ) von der sekundären Ladeplatte, das Bestimmen eines Gesamtkorrekturfaktors der jeweiligen Messfehler oder Verluste der zumindest einen fehlerbehafteten oder verlustbehafteten Komponente, das Bestimmen eines Gesamtkorrekturfaktors und das Schreiben des Gesamtkorrekturfaktors als Korrekturwert in eine Speichereinrichtung (705) der primärseitigen Ladeplatte (105).
