The invention discloses a method and device for monitoring the power of wind turbines, which comprises the following steps of: establishing a required data change relation curve according to the data required by the power; determining the fluctuation of each required data based on the required data change relation curve; and calculating the quality level of the data required by the reacquired power; calculate that power accord to the data required by the power; tablishing a power change curve according to the target power, and judging whether a fault exists and the type of the fault; if there is a fault, adjust the next power monitoring cycle according to the fault type and fault duration. And the influence of external influence factors on the power is reduced.
