  • the apparatus (1) For cleaning the external surfaces of the endoscopes, the apparatus (1) is provided with one or more impellers (6) provided with nozzles for the delivery of washing fluids towards the baskets (3) and the endoscopes supported by the latter.
  • the external cleaning of the endoscopes is therefore carried out using the fluids supplied, even under pressure, through the nozzles of the impellers (6).
  • hot air is introduced into the chamber (2) coming from a suitable blower (not shown in the drawings) and subjected to the action of an electric resistance (or other convenient heating means of another type) and the introduction of air through the same impellers (6) present in the treatment chamber (2) used for washing.
  • each pair of multiple connectors (4A, 4B) includes at least one RFID read/write antenna for recognition of the basket (3) and its supported endoscope, which has an RFID tag at the mating position of the connector.
  • each multiple connector pair (4A, 4B) may comprise five connectors or connection elements.

  • each pair of multiple connectors (4A, 4B) comprises a first multiple connector (4A) and a second multiple connector (4B).

Furthermore, a reading/writing device (88) for recognizing the basket (3) capable of reading a corresponding identification element (99) provided on the plate (5B) is provided on the second multiple connector (4B).

  • connection elements (8) indicates the angle defined between the connection elements (8) (and by the device 88) of the multiple connectors (4A, 4B) as well as the analogous angle defined by the corresponding connection elements (9) (and by the relative recognition element 99) of the plates (5 A, 5B).

  • connection elements (8) (and of the device 88) in number of five for each multiple connector (4A, 4B) and the corresponding arrangement on the plates (5 A, 5B) of the corresponding connection elements (9) (and of the relative recognition element 99) to be connected to the endoscope are particularly advantageous.
  • connection elements (8) are extremely advantageous because they allow to drastically reduce the overall dimensions compared to the use of a single multiple connector provided with all the connection elements and, at the same time, make the connection made fast and effective.
  • an apparatus (1) is an apparatus for the internal and external treatment of endoscopes, in which the internal treatment is carried out by means of multiple connection means intended to engage a plurality of conduits and/or ports provided on an endoscope and the external treatment comprises means for washing and drying the external surfaces of the endoscope.
  • the apparatus (1) comprises a treatment chamber (2) provided with a plurality of baskets (3) for corresponding endoscopes; for each of said baskets (3) a pair of multiple connectors (4A, 4B) is provided and the totality of connections necessary for connection to the endoscope is divided between the two connectors (4A, 4B) intended for each basket (3).

  • the apparatus (1) is provided with movement means able to automatically connect said pair of multiple connectors (4A, 4B) to said pair of plates (5 A, 5B);
  • said movement means comprise a plurality of actuators (7) whose respective stems (70) support corresponding multiple connectors (4A, 4B) movable bidirectionally towards the relative pairs of plates (5 A, 5B);
  • the apparatus (1) is provided with one or more impellers (6) provided with nozzles for the delivery of washing fluids towards the baskets (3) and the endoscopes supported by the latter;
  • said pair of multiple connectors (4A, 4B) comprises at least one reading/writing device (88) of the RFID type for recognizing the basket (3) and the relative supported endoscope;
  • the reading/writing device (88) is a reading/writing antenna of the RFID type for recognizing the basket (3) and the relative supported endoscope, having a RFID tag in correspondence of the coupling position of the connector;

  • each pair of multiple connectors (4A, 4B) is composed of a first substantially cylindrical body (4A) and a second substantially cylindrical body (4B), each of which is provided with five connection elements per pair;
  • each basket (3) is provided with two plates (5 A, 5B) shaped complementary to said pair of multiple connectors (4 A, 4B), i.e. having the same number of connection elements as the two multiple connectors (4A, 4B) with a specular arrangement with respect to the same, said apparatus (1) being provided with movement means (7) apt to automatically connect said pair of multiple connectors (4A, 4B) to said pair of plates (5 A, 5B);
  • each pair of multiple connectors (4A, 4B) is composed of a first multiple connector (4A) and a second multiple connector (4B), each of said multiple connectors (4A, 4B) being provided with a plurality of connection elements (8) intended for the coupling of corresponding ducts which connect the apparatus to a basket (3) in such a way that with the multiple connectors (4A, 4B) connected to a basket (3) a respective fluid can flow through said ducts;
  • said first multiple connector (4A) comprises a cylindrical body provided with five connection elements (8) arranged with their axes parallel to that of the body of the first multiple connector (4A) and said second multiple connector (4B) comprises a cylindrical body provided of four connection elements (8) and a reading/writing device (88) for the recognition of the basket (3), arranged with the axes parallel to that of the body of the second multiple connector (4B), wherein five connection elements (8 ) of the first multiple connector (4A) are arranged angularly equidistant from each other and the four connection elements (8) of the second connector (4B) and the reading/writing device (88) are arranged angularly equidistant from each other;
  • each basket (3) is provided with two plates (5 A, 5B) provided with second connection elements (9) which can be associated with the connection elements (8) provided on the multiple connectors (4A, 4B) by bringing said multiple connectors closer (4A, 4B) to the plates (5 A, 5B) by means of actuators (7), said second connection elements (9) being shaped so as to allow direct connection or via ducts to the endoscopes to be subjected to treatment;
  • the apparatus comprises hot air drying means designed to introduce into the chamber (2) hot air coming from a suitable blower and subjected to the action of a heating means;
  • the drying means include said impellers (6) present in the treatment chamber (2) used for washing.

Abstract

Un appareil pour le traitement interne et externe d'endoscopes, le traitement interne étant réalisé au moyen de multiples moyens de raccordement destinés à venir en prise avec une pluralité de conduits et/ou d'orifices disposés sur un endoscope et le traitement externe comprenant des moyens de lavage et un séchage des surfaces externes de l'endoscope ; l'appareil (1) est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une chambre de traitement (2) pourvue d'une pluralité de paniers (3) pour endoscopes correspondants et en ce que pour chacun desdits paniers (3) une paire de multiples connecteurs (4A, 4B) dans lesquels la totalité des connexions nécessaires pour la connexion à l'endoscope est divisée entre les deux connecteurs (4A, 4B) destinés à chaque panier (3).
