Enclos mobile, en particulier pour du bétail, et procédé d’installation d’un tel enclos mobileMobile enclosure, in particular for cattle, and method of installing such a mobile enclosure Domaine de l'inventionField of invention
The invention relates to the field of mobile enclosures for farm animals, in particular for cattle.
It also relates to a method for installing or using such a mobile enclosure.
A mobile enclosure is particularly useful for handling animals, for example to sort them, provide them with veterinary care, while they are away from their stall. The mobile enclosure has the advantage of not having to construct a fixed building, and of being installed temporarily in all places.
We know from US patent 8,534,230 a mobile enclosure which comprises a mobile main structure on wheels, and which can be hitched as a trailer to a towing vehicle to move and transport the enclosure, the structure comprising jacks for raising the wheels and placing it fixedly flat on the ground. Furthermore, the main structure forms a corridor and comprises, against its opposite longitudinal sides, folded fence panels which are able to be deployed while being mobile on wheels when said structure is placed on the ground, which makes it possible to obtain on each side of the structure of the separate closed parts of enclosures. Access to the enclosure parts is via the central corridor with doors at each distal end, and on its longitudinal sides, also doors leading to the enclosure parts.
However, such an enclosure is tedious to implement, imposing each time during the deployment and folding of the rolling fence panels, to tow them or to push them manually. In addition, the ground on which the enclosure must be installed may be uneven or wet, or even muddy, which does not facilitate, or may even make it impossible, the rolling of the fence panels.
Moreover, such an enclosure is especially useful for temporarily blocking the animals almost individually in the central corridor before penning them in the parts of the enclosure, mainly for the purpose of sorting the animals. On the other hand, the enclosure is not so practical when it comes to entering the cattle directly into the enclosure parts, due to the narrow access imposed by the central corridor. Furthermore, it is not very effective for enclosing livestock for a long period. Indeed, the rolling fence panels are relatively easy to move, and there is a strong risk that the animals, by pushing on these panels, deform their enclosure, reducing its surface.
Objectifs de l’inventionObjectives of the invention
The present invention therefore aims to provide a mobile enclosure which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks, by being easy and quick to install, while providing in particular one or more entrances which are easy to access.
In particular, the invention aims to provide such a mobile pen which allows a breeder to easily carry out many operations on the cattle, such as for example the restraint of the animal, the sorting or the recovery of a batch of cattle.
These objectives, as well as others which will appear more clearly later, are achieved with the aid of a mobile enclosure which comprises a load-bearing structure extending in length between two ends, a hitching structure assembled to a first end of the supporting structure, a rolling structure assembled at the second end of the supporting structure, movable fence elements articulated with respect to the supporting structure and adapted to be folded against the supporting structure and to be deployed at a distance from said structure supporting structure to form at least part of the perimeter of the mobile enclosure, and a system for raising and lowering the supporting structure in order to arrange it either in a high position at a distance from the ground, or in a low position placed on ground. According to the invention, this mobile enclosure is characterized in that the mobile fence elements are assembled together and to the supporting structure by means of supporting joints capable of supporting the mobile fence elements at a high position at a distance from the ground in their deployed state when the support structure is in the raised position.
Thus, the joints are able to carry the movable fence elements while they are being deployed or once they are deployed while the supporting structure is in the high position, and is therefore not in support On the ground. These joints therefore make it possible to completely unfold the enclosure without being in contact with the ground. The deployment process avoids any friction with the ground and is therefore independent of the nature of the ground. Once the enclosure is fully deployed, it is placed on the ground by lowering only the supporting structure. Conversely, to return to the stowed state, the supporting structure is raised, and the mobile fence elements can be folded up without contact with the ground.
Accordingly, the supporting structure is lowered and raised, respectively by simultaneously lowering and raising the movable fence elements in their deployed state.
Preferably, each of the movable fence elements is assembled by supporting joints, at each of its two ends, to the supporting structure or to another of the movable fence elements.
The mobile fence elements thus form, with the supporting structure, a closed fence whose elements do not have to be detached from each other to pass from the position in which they are folded against the supporting structure to the position in which they are deployed at a distance from the support structure to form at least part of the perimeter of the mobile enclosure, and vice versa.
According to one characteristic, the supporting joints are hinges with a vertical axis which allow the deployment of the fence elements in a horizontal plane.
Advantageously, the movement of at least one of the movable fence elements around the bearing joints is motorized by at least one jack.
This motorization is made possible by the absence of contact with the ground of the mobile fence elements during their movement, which avoids having to exert excessive forces to move them. Thus the mobile fence elements are effortlessly deployed and folded. Preferably, load-bearing joints, located at the four corners of the load-bearing structure, are motorized by cylinders which are fixed to the load-bearing structure and connected to immediately adjacent movable fence elements. The mounting of the mobile fence elements can advantageously allow these motorizations to control the deployment or folding of all the mobile fence elements of the mobile enclosure.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the fence elements consist in particular of profiles and/or tubes welded in steel, for example in galvanized steel, with a section of the order of 40 mm when it is an enclosure for livestock, which represents a certain weight. By offering jacks as supporting joints, these make it possible to deploy and fold heavy and imposing fence elements easily and effortlessly, in a motorized way, as well as to carry them at a distance from the ground without support means on the floor. The fence elements can thus be cantilevered relative to the supporting structure.
The movable fence element placed immediately adjacent to the supporting structure advantageously carries the other fence elements adjoining it. The user achieves deployment of the mobile enclosure very easily and effortlessly, as no manual operation on the fence elements is necessary during the maneuver.
Preferably, the supporting structure is oblong. It thus has a main longitudinal extension and comprises two opposite longitudinal edges against which the fence elements are arranged in their folded state.
According to an advantageous characteristic, the mobile fence elements comprise panels which are hinged together to be aligned with each other in their deployed position, and extend against each other in their folded position.
Preferably, such mobile fence elements comprise a pair of these panels which thus articulate with each other. These panels hinged together are preferably so-called transverse fence elements which are hinged with respect to the supporting structure and are intended to extend transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the supporting structure in the deployed position and parallel and against the structure. carrier in the folded position.
According to another advantageous characteristic, the mobile fence elements comprise, on the one hand, transverse fence elements which are deployable in a direction substantially perpendicular to the length of the supporting structure, some of the transverse fence elements being assembled directly to the structure carrier via some of the carrier joints, and on the other hand, longitudinal fence elements which are deployable perpendicular to the transverse fence elements and are assembled to the transverse fence elements through some of the carrier joints.
Such a configuration allows these fence elements to fold or unfold "accordion", the transverse fence elements being assembled together in pairs and being able to fold in such a way as to approach or away from the longitudinal elements of the fence. supporting structure. This concertina configuration advantageously allows folding and unfolding that does not require assembling the fence elements together, or detaching them. It is thus possible to automate this folding and unfolding more easily.
In particular, when there is, on one side of the load-bearing structure, a single longitudinal fence element which is connected to the load-bearing structure, at each of its ends, by two transverse fence elements mounted in such a way as to allow the concertina folding or deployment of these fence elements, this folding and this deployment can be easily motorized by controlling the angular position, relative to the supporting structure, of the transverse fence elements which are connected thereto. Thus, two cylinders, placed in such a way as to control the angular position, relative to the supporting structure, of two transverse fence elements which are connected thereto, are advantageously sufficient to move from their folded position to their deployed position, and vice versa, four transverse fence elements and a longitudinal fence element.
The set of transverse and longitudinal fence elements deployed from the supporting structure delimits the outer contour of the mobile enclosure. The support structure preferably comprises two fixed fence elements, which are respectively integral with the two ends of the support structure and ensure the continuity of the perimeter of the mobile enclosure with the transverse fence elements starting on either side of each of the two ends of the supporting structure.
Preferably, the transverse fence elements extend from all four corners of the supporting structure. The transverse fence elements extend in the deployed position oppositely in pairs from the two ends of the supporting structure and on either side of the longitudinal sides of the supporting structure. A longitudinal fence element extends, on each side of the supporting structure, perpendicular to the transverse fence elements. The longitudinal fence elements are then opposite, and arranged parallel and on either side and at a distance from the supporting structure. The separation distance between the longitudinal fence elements corresponds to the length of the deployed transverse fence elements and the width of the supporting structure. The longitudinal fence elements are preferably one-piece and are not collapsible; they have a length which corresponds to that of the supporting structure.
The mobile enclosure in the deployed position can thus have a rectangular or square perimeter depending on the length of the supporting structure.
Advantageously, the lifting and lowering system of the supporting structure is motorized by at least one jack.
The lifting and lowering system of the supporting structure is in particular arranged at at least one of the two ends of the supporting structure, at the level of the hitching structure and/or of the rolling structure.
The mobile enclosure has a control panel, so as to control the various cylinders joining the supporting structure to the transverse fence elements, and the lifting and lowering system of the supporting structure.
According to yet another advantageous characteristic, the support structure has a platform of generally oblong and planar shape.
This platform is presented as a solid surface covering the load-bearing structure without overflowing from it. It is designed to withstand the weight of cattle walking on it in the low position. The flat shape of the support structure allows cattle to move around the enclosure on either side of the support structure, without the latter forming an obstacle to the passage of the animals. Preferably, the thickness of the support structure is of the order of ten centimeters.
The support structure is preferably hollow on its underside facing the ground so as to allow the invisible path from one end to the other of the support structure of means ensuring the operation of the support joints when they are motorized, such as the cylinder connection and supply pipes.
According to an advantageous characteristic, the mobile enclosure comprises doors, which are arranged in at least some of the mobile fence elements.
In particular, the transverse fence elements may have such doors, for the entry and exit of livestock. Preferably, each panel of a transverse fence element has a single leaf door. Thus, for a fence element consisting of two panels, two doors that can be opened independently of each other are provided.
Advantageously, at least some of the movable fence elements include yokes.
Preferably, the two opposite longitudinal fence elements can thus be fitted with yokes. The animals can thus be temporarily blocked as in stalling.
Preferably, at least some of the movable fence elements comprise feeders that are removable or capable of being movable in order to be deployed and folded up.
Preferably, the two opposite longitudinal fence elements, which can be fitted with yokes, can also be fitted with feeders. The mobile feeders can be folded when not in use to an upright position, further gaining in compactness from the mobile pen in its folded state.
Advantageously, the mobile enclosure comprises at least one deployable additional barrier, which is carried in a folded position, against one of the mobile fence elements, and which can be deployed by resting on the ground, from the fence element mobile, when the mobile enclosure is in its lowered position.
This additional barrier is intended to extend beyond the perimeter of the mobile enclosure. It can be articulated in pivoting relative to the mobile enclosure. It can be used in particular to channel the animals to enter the enclosure. The additional barrier must not be deployed and must remain stowed and carried completely by the fence element as long as the mobile enclosure is not on the ground, to avoid any breakage.
Preferably, one end of one of the additional barriers is linked to a movable fence element by a hinge with a vertical axis movable by sliding along the movable fence element.
The additional barrier is thus deployable by pivoting relative to the fence element which carries it while being movable by sliding along this fence element. It can thus be deployed in a wide variety of positions. The additional barrier is advantageously provided with at least one wheel, preferably carrying its end which is not linked to a fence element, and is able to be deployed by rolling on the ground in the deployed position on the ground of the supporting structure.
Advantageously, the carrier structure is able to be lowered or raised by, respectively, raising or lowering, relative to the carrier structure, the rolling structure and/or the hitching structure.
Preferably, this coupling structure is articulated around a horizontal axis integral with the supporting structure.
Preferably, the articulation of the coupling structure is motorized by cylinders. Alternatively, the hitching structure could be fixed relative to the supporting structure, and it is the hitching member of the towing vehicle coupled to the hitching structure which would be lowered or raised.
In the preferred embodiment, the carrying structure remains hitched to the towing vehicle and carried by the rolling structure, as long as the mobile enclosure is not deployed. Once the enclosure has been deployed, the supporting structure is intended to be placed on the ground, and the towing vehicle can be unhitched.
Advantageously, the rolling structure is linked to the carrier structure by a horizontal axis joint.
Preferably, the rolling structure comprises a directional axle.
All the motorized elements of the mobile enclosure are controlled by controls which are operated by the user. The controls are, for example, control levers for manually operable cylinders, preferably centralized on a control panel in a single location of the supporting structure, such as on an upright of the supporting structure and close to the hitching structure.
  • déplacement de l’enclos mobile par roulement sur la structure de roulement, la structure porteuse étant dans la position haute et les éléments de clôture mobiles étant pliés contre la structure porteuse ;
  • déploiement d’au moins une partie des éléments de clôture mobiles pour former au moins une partie du périmètre de l’enclos mobile, les éléments de clôture mobiles étant portés à distance du sol par la structure porteuse ;
Finally, the invention relates to a method for installing a mobile enclosure comprising the following steps:
  • movement of the mobile enclosure by rolling on the rolling structure, the support structure being in the raised position and the mobile fence elements being folded against the support structure;
  • deployment of at least a part of the mobile fence elements to form at least a part of the perimeter of the mobile enclosure, the mobile fence elements being carried at a distance from the ground by the support structure;
  • once the mobile fence elements have been deployed, lowering of the supporting structure to place the mobile enclosure on the ground.
The installation process is thus extremely simple to implement and effortless for the user since the enclosure is deployed at ground level without friction with the ground, the supporting structure still being at a distance from the ground.
Folding is also simple and effortless; the load-bearing structure is raised while the mobile enclosure is deployed, then the fence elements are folded up.
Preferably, the lowering of the supporting structure can be obtained by raising the hitching structure and the rolling structure relative to the supporting structure. These lifts can be carried out at the same time, or independently of each other.
Preferably, the supporting joints for deploying and folding the fence elements and the motorized means for lifting and lowering the supporting structure are driven by controls which are operated by the user.

Detailed Description of Embodiments of the Invention
The mobile enclosure 1 according to one embodiment of the invention, illustrated in the figures, is intended to be used to arrange a temporary fenced space shown by figures 1 to 7, in particular suitable for livestock. The mobile enclosure 1 is qualified as mobile in the sense that it is easily movable by being towable by a vehicle such as a tractor, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The mobile enclosure 1 is designed to be rolling when not in use. while being compact in the manner of a trailer, as shown by Figures 1 and 3, and to be placed on the ground and arranged in a fully deployed manner in the position of use, as shown by the .
The mobile enclosure 1 makes it possible to arrange on the ground, quickly and easily, fence elements butted together to form a closed perimeter, and to be able to store the fence elements just as quickly and easily on a rolling frame in order to transport the mobile enclosure 1 to the desired location. As will be seen below, the implementation for deploying and storing the mobile enclosure 1 is greatly simplified for the user who does not need to carry and/or maneuver the fence elements on the ground.
The mobile enclosure 1 comprises a supporting structure 2 capable of being arranged in a high position at a distance from the ground or in a low position on the ground, a hitching structure 3, a rolling structure 4, lifting means and lowering the supporting structure 2, several fence elements, advantageously comprising fixed fence elements and mobile fence elements.
The fixed fence elements advantageously form part of the support structure 2. They comprise a front fixed fence element 2A and a rear fixed fence element 2B, which are located at the two ends of this support structure 2 and are integral with the other components of the supporting structure 2.
L’ensemble des différents éléments de clôture 2A, 2B, 6 et 7 délimite ainsi le périmètre de l’enclos mobile 1.The mobile fence elements comprise transverse fence elements 6, which are carried by the support structure 2, while being mobile with respect to this support structure 2. These mobile fence elements 6 and 7 are adapted to be either folded against the supporting structure 2, in the storage position of the mobile enclosure 1 shown by the , or deployed for use of the mobile enclosure 1, in the deployed position of the mobile enclosure 1 shown in Figures 4 to 7. In the deployed position of the mobile enclosure 1, the transverse fence elements 6 are intended to form, with the fixed fence elements 2A and 2B, the sides of the mobile enclosure 1 perpendicular to the supporting structure 2, and the longitudinal fence elements 7 are intended to form the sides of the mobile enclosure 1 parallel to the supporting structure 2. All of the different fence elements 2A, 2B, 6 and 7 thus delimit the perimeter of the mobile enclosure 1.
As shown on the , the supporting structure 2 of the mobile enclosure 1 extends in length and comprises a front end 20 and a rear end 21, each respectively assembled to the coupling structure 3 and to the rolling structure 4. The supporting structure 2 forms an oblong frame, preferably rectangular and provided with a platform 22 forming a solid upper surface. The support structure 2 further comprises at its front end 20 the front fixed fence element 2A and at its rear end 21 the rear fixed fence element 2B, extending perpendicularly to the support structure 2. These two fence elements fixed 2A and 2B form permanently fixed panels.
The supporting structure 2 makes it possible to carry all of the fence elements of the mobile enclosure 1, and is assembled to the hitching structure 3 which makes it possible to attach this supporting structure 2 to the tractor vehicle, and to the rolling structure 4 for the movement of this support structure 2, and therefore for the movement of the mobile enclosure 1.
Ainsi, la structure porteuse 2 définit la longueur du périmètre de l’enclos mobile 1The supporting structure 2 extends in length between the two ends 20 and 21, from the front fixed fence element 2A to the rear fixed fence element 2B. In the embodiment shown, the load-bearing structure 2 defines the length of the longitudinal fence elements 7, which are perpendicular to the transverse fence elements 6. Thus, the load-bearing structure 2 defines the length of the perimeter of the mobile enclosure 1
The platform 22 provides the supporting structure 2 with a solid and relatively flat upper surface covering the frame of the mobile enclosure 1 formed by the supporting structure 2. Thus, when the supporting structure 2 is in the low position on the ground, it provides a solid and relatively flat surface on which the cattle can walk without risk of the cattle getting their legs caught in the supporting structure 2.
The hitching structure 3 is assembled at the front end 20 of the supporting structure 2, at the level of two fixing points 30 and 31. In the embodiment represented by FIGS. 3 and 5, the hitching structure 3 forms a coupling arrow comprising two profiles 33 and 34 connecting at a point in a front part 35 provided with a coupling member which is preferably a coupling ring 32. The ends of the profiles 33 and 34, at the opposite the front part 35, constitute the respective attachment points 30 and 31. The coupling ring 32 is intended to cooperate with a coupling hook of the tractor vehicle.
Preferably, the assembly of the hitching structure 3 to the front end 20 of the supporting structure 2 is made by means of an articulation which allows a pivoting of the hitching structure 3, relative to the support structure 2, around a horizontal axis. In the embodiment shown, this articulation is formed by two attachment points 30 and 31, forming coaxial pivots. The attachment points 30 and 31 of the coupling structure 3 carry, for example, coaxial shafts which cooperate with articulation yokes integral with the supporting structure 2.
To this end, the mobile enclosure 1 comprises a jack 36 which connects the front part 35 of the drawbar to the front fixed fence element 2A of the supporting structure 2, as represented by FIGS. 3 to 5. The deployment of this cylinder 36 causes an upward pivoting movement of the hitching structure 3, relative to the supporting structure 2, and the folding of this cylinder 36 causes a downward pivoting movement of the hitching structure 3, relative to the supporting structure 2.
When the coupling ring is assembled to the coupling hook of a tractor vehicle, the upward pivoting movement of the coupling structure 3 makes it possible to pass from one position, represented in , in which the front end 20 of the supporting structure 2 is carried by the tractor vehicle, and is kept at a distance from the ground, at a position, represented by the , wherein the front end 20 of the supporting structure 2 is placed on the ground. The downward pivoting movement of the hitching structure 3 allows the reverse movement.
When the front end 20 of the supporting structure 2 is placed on the ground, the upward pivoting movement of the hitching structure 3 makes it possible to pass from the position represented by the , in which the coupling ring 32 is assembled to the coupling hook of the tractor vehicle, at a position in which the coupling ring 32 is uncoupled from the coupling hook of the tractor vehicle. This position can for example be that represented by the , wherein the hitching structure 3 extends vertically against the front fixed fence element 2A. In this position, the hitching structure 3 is not a problem for moving freely outside and around the mobile enclosure 1. The downward pivoting movement of the hitching structure 3 allows the reverse movement.
It should be noted that, in another possible embodiment of the invention, the coupling structure 3 can be assembled in a fixed manner at the front end 20 of the carrying structure 2. In this case, the lifting or the Lowering the towing hook of the towing vehicle can ensure the lifting, at a distance from the ground, of the front end 20 of the supporting structure 2, or its lowering until it rests on the ground.
In the embodiment represented in particular by the , this rolling structure 4 comprises a frame 40 extending in a substantially horizontal plane and forming an axle 41 carrying two wheels 42. Preferably, these wheels 42 are directional, their direction being able to be oriented under the action of a jack 410 which is advantageously controlled from the tractor vehicle. The frame 40 comprises two side members 44 and 45, spaced apart, which are substantially perpendicular and integral with the axle 41 by their rear ends, and whose front ends respectively constitute the points of attachment and articulation 46 and 47
Advantageously, the assembly of the rolling structure 4 at the rear end 21 of the supporting structure 2 is made by means of a joint which allows pivoting of the rolling structure 4, relative to the supporting structure 2 , around a horizontal axis. In the embodiment shown, this joint is formed by the two attachment points 46 and 47, forming coaxial pivots. The attachment points 46 and 47 of the coupling structure 3 carry, for example, coaxial shafts which cooperate with articulation yokes integral with the supporting structure 2.
To this end, the mobile enclosure 1 comprises two cylinders 48 and 49, not shown in the , which connect the frame 40 of the rolling structure 4 to the rear fixed fence element 2B of the supporting structure 2, as shown in particular in Figures 3 and 4. The deployment of these cylinders 48 and 49 causes a pivoting movement upwards of rolling structure 4, relative to bearing structure 2, and the folding of these cylinders 48 and 49 causes a downward pivoting movement of rolling structure 4, relative to bearing structure 2.
The upward pivoting movement of the rolling structure 4, relative to the supporting structure 2, makes it possible to pass from a high position, shown in , to a low position represented by the . In the high position, the rear end 21 of the support structure 2 is carried by the rolling structure 4, which is resting on its wheels 42. The rear end 21 of the support structure 2 is thus kept at a distance from the ground. . In the low position, the rear end 21 of the support structure 2 is placed on the ground, the wheels 42 being able to be in contact with the ground or to be raised. The downward pivoting movement of the bearing structure 4 allows the reverse movement, from the low position to the high position.
To secure the rolling structure 4 in the high position during transport of the mobile enclosure 1 and to prevent the cylinders 48 and 49 from retracting (for example in the event of hydraulic failure), blocking parts such as U-sections , are mounted astride the extended rods of cylinders 48 and 49 and come into abutment against the noses of cylinders 48 and 49. Once the supporting structure 2 has been positioned at the desired location, in order to retract the rods of the jacks 48 and 49, the blocking pieces are pivoted rearward.
Ce système de levage et d’abaissement est avantageusement motorisé par les vérins 36, 48 et 49.In the embodiment represented by the figures, the assembly of the hitching structure 3 and the rolling structure 4, at the two ends 20 and 21 of the supporting structure 2, makes it possible to lift this supporting structure 2, like the show it or lay it on the ground as shown in the . This coupling structures 3 and this bearing structure 4, articulated to the supporting structure 2, therefore constitute means for lifting and lowering the supporting structure 2, or a system for lifting and lowering the supporting structure 2 , in order to arrange it either in a high position at a distance from the ground, or in a low position resting on the ground. This lifting and lowering system is advantageously motorized by cylinders 36, 48 and 49.
As visible in particular in Figures 4 to 7, the mobile fence elements 6 and 7 of the mobile enclosure 1 comprise, on the one hand, the transverse mobile fence elements 6 which are connected to the supporting structure 2 by means of the fixed fence elements 2A and 2B to form the sides of the mobile enclosure 1 perpendicular in pairs and on each side of the supporting structure 2, and on the other hand, the longitudinal mobile fence elements 7 which perpendicularly connect the ends of the transverse fence elements 6 opposite the supporting structure 2, the longitudinal fence elements 7 being arranged opposite and parallel to and at a distance from the supporting structure 2 to form the other opposite sides of the mobile enclosure 1.
The transverse fence elements 6 are in the form of a plurality of panels intended to be butted on either side of the supporting structure 2 starting from the fixed fence elements 2A and 2B.
In the embodiment shown in Figures 4 and 7, each transverse fence element 6 is composed of two panels 6A and 6B. Each of these panels 6A and 6B has for example a height of 2m and a width of 1.5m. Each panel 6A and 6B forms a rectangular frame inside which rungs extend. Advantageously, in some of these panels 6A and 6B or, as in the embodiment represented by the , in all the panels, these bars constitute a door 60 pivotally mounted inside the frame to allow access to the interior of the mobile enclosure 1. This door 60 is thus connected to the frame by hinges, preferably hinges allowing the door 60 to open both inwards and outwards of the mobile enclosure 1. The panels 6A and 6B also include locking means (not shown) of the door 60 in position closed. The frame of the panels 6A and 6B has sufficient dimensions so that the animal, for example a cow, can pass through the panels 6A and 6B when the door 60 is open.
As shown in particular in Figures 4 and 6, each transverse mobile fence element 6 is able to bend or deploy in a V. It can thus adopt a storage position such that two panels 6A and 6B are applied one against the other, represented by the , and a deployed position such that these two panels 6A and 6B are aligned, represented by FIGS. 6 and 7.
The panels 6A and 6B of a transverse fence element 6 are connected to each other by two joints 61 and 62, as represented by FIGS. 6 and 7, placed respectively in the lower part and in the upper part of the frames and allowing their relative rotation, around a vertical axis corresponding to the line of junction of the two frames of the panels 6A and 6B. The V-joint of the panels 6A and 6B provides great compactness, once the fence elements have been folded up, and simplicity and speed of deployment and folding.
The represents the upper joint 62 connecting the panels 6A and 6B of one of the transverse fence elements 6. This joint 62 consists of two yokes 621 and 622, the yoke 621 being integral with the panel 6B and the yoke 622 being integral with the panel 6A. The two yokes are joined by a pin 623 forming the vertical axis of rotation of the panels 6A and 6B. The lower joint 61 connecting the panels 6A and 6B of one of the transverse fence elements 6 can advantageously have a similar structure. Similarly, the joints 81, 82, 71 and 72, connecting the transverse fence elements to the supporting structure 2 and to the longitudinal fence element 7 can also have similar structures implementing yokes connected by pins forming vertical axes.
These joints 61 and 62 are located on the faces of the panels 6A and 6B which faces the outside of the mobile enclosure 1. Thus they allow a folding of the panels 6A and 6B towards the interior of the mobile enclosure 1, so that the panel 6A comes along the support structure 2 and the panel 6B comes to press against the panel 6A, when the mobile enclosure 1 is completely folded. In the embodiment shown, these joints 61 and 62 thus make it possible to vary the angle between the panels 6A and 6B between 0° in the storage position, and 180° in the deployed position.
Other joints of the mobile enclosure, notably the joints 71 and 72, connecting the transverse fence elements and to the longitudinal fence element 7, are designed to vary the angle between the panels which they connect between 0 ° in the stowed position, and 90° in the deployed position. All these joints connecting the movable fence elements to each other and to the supporting structure 2 are advantageously made and dimensioned so as to offer great resistance. Thus, they provide great rigidity to the mobile enclosure 1, once deployed, so that it can withstand the pressure caused by the livestock without deforming.
In the example of mobile enclosure 1 represented, the transverse mobile fence elements 6 are fixed to each of the front 20 and rear 21 ends of the support structure 2 and on each side of this support structure 2. Thus, four fence elements transverse 6 are fixed to the supporting structure 2. In the storage position, represented by the , the four transverse fence elements 6 are folded and arranged at the four corners of the supporting structure 2 and against its longitudinal edges.
As visible in Figures 6 and 7, each transverse fence element 6 is connected to the supporting structure 2 by two joints 81 and 82 allowing their relative rotation, around a vertical axis. Each joint 81 is thus placed between the lower part of a side edge of a panel 6A and the supporting structure 2. Each joint 82 is placed between the upper part of this side edge of the panel 6A and one of the fence elements fixed front 2A and rear 2B, which is integral with the support structure 2. These joints 81 and 82 allow the transverse fence elements 6 to be carried by the support structure 2, and can pivot relative to the support structure 2. The joints 81 and 82 are constituted by yokes of vertical axis joints which allow the deployment of the transverse fence elements 6 in a horizontal plane. Thus, a hinge 81, consisting of a yoke 811 fixed to a panel 6A connected by a pin 813 to a yoke 812 fixed to the supporting structure 2, is shown seen from above in FIGS. 8 and 9.
A cette fin, des vérins 83 sont avantageusement montés entre la structure porteuse 2 et chaque panneau 6A, au niveau des articulations 81.Preferably, the pivoting of the transverse fence elements 6 is motorized to avoid the user manual maneuvers on these transverse fence elements 6 during their deployment and their folding. To this end, cylinders 83 are advantageously mounted between the supporting structure 2 and each panel 6A, at the joints 81.
Ces éléments de clôture transversaux 6 se déploient alors jusqu’à être complètement ouverts et perpendiculaires à la structure porteuse 2, comme le montre la .These cylinders 83 are positioned in pairs at each of the front 20 and rear 21 ends of the support structure 2. The body of each cylinder 83 is integral with a yoke 80 linked to the support structure 2 while the ends of the rods of the cylinders 83 are each assembled to a lever 84 integral with the lower corner of the panel 6A immediately adjacent to the support structure 2. As shown in the the rods of the cylinders 83 are extended when the transverse fence elements 6 are folded against the supporting structure 2. When the cylinders 83 are actuated to make the rods retract, these on returning pull on the levers 84 which generates the rotation of the transverse fence elements 6 around joints 81 and 82. These transverse fence elements 6 then unfold until they are completely open and perpendicular to the load-bearing structure 2, as shown in .
The longitudinal fence elements 7 connect the transverse fence elements 6 in order to close the mobile enclosure 1. In the embodiment shown, two longitudinal fence elements 7, two opposite sides of the mobile enclosure, each form a barrier substantially parallel to the supporting structure 2, the length of the longitudinal fence elements 7 corresponding substantially to the length of the supporting structure 2.
In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 7, the two ends of each longitudinal fence element 7 are respectively assembled to two panels 6B of two transverse fence elements 6 opposite and located on the same side of the supporting structure 2.
As represented by , each longitudinal fence element 7 is connected, at each of its ends, to a panel 6B of a transverse fence element 6 by two joints 71 and 72, allowing their relative rotation, around a vertical axis. Each joint 71 is thus placed between the lower part of a side edge of a panel 6B and the lower part of a side edge of a longitudinal fence element 7. Each joint 72 is placed between the upper part of this edge side of the panel 6B and the lower part of the side edge of the longitudinal fence element 7. These joints 71 and 72 allow the longitudinal fence elements 7 to be carried by the transverse fence elements 6, and can pivot relative to these transverse fence elements 6. The joints 71 and 72 consist of yokes of vertical axis joints which allow the deployment of the transverse fence elements 6 in a horizontal plane. placed respectively in the lower part and in the upper part of the fence elements.
Dans la position déployée de l’enclos mobile 1, représenté par la , chaque élément de clôture longitudinal 7 est parallèle à la structure porteuse 2 et perpendiculaire aux éléments de clôture transversaux 6.In the storage position of the mobile enclosure 1, represented by the , each longitudinal fence element 7 rests against the folded transverse fence elements 6, parallel to these transverse fence elements 6 and to one of the longitudinal edges of the carrying structure 2. In the deployed position of the mobile enclosure 1, represented by the , each longitudinal fence element 7 is parallel to the supporting structure 2 and perpendicular to the transverse fence elements 6.
In the embodiment shown, the longitudinal fence elements 7 are each in a single part because the supporting structure 2 has been designed so that its length corresponds directly to one of the two desired dimensions of the enclosure which is rectangular here. However, it could be envisaged, in other embodiments, that each longitudinal fence element 7 be designed in several articulated panels to make the entire folded enclosure even more compact.
According to certain embodiments, one or more longitudinal fence elements 7 can provide functions other than that of serving as a fence. Thus, Figures 12 to 14 show such a longitudinal fence element 7 that can be implemented in a mobile enclosure 1 according to certain embodiments of the invention.
This closing element represented by the , which can constitute one of the longitudinal fence elements 7, or the two longitudinal fence elements 7, comprises yokes 9 which make it possible, if necessary, to block the heads of the animals, thus offering the possibility of sorting the animals or providing them with care as in the barn.
One or more of the longitudinal fence elements 7 may also comprise further comprises at least one manger 90, which is arranged on the outer face of the longitudinal fence elements 7 to be outside the mobile enclosure 1, behind the yokes 9. Preferably, the feeder or feeders 90 are foldable by being tiltable along an axis parallel to the longitudinal fence element 7, and are lockable in the storage position, for example by a locking tab. The feeders 90 can be folded, as shown by the , to be stored in a plane parallel to the longitudinal fence element 7 in order to make the mobile enclosure 1 compact in the storage position. In the deployed position of the feeders 90, represented by the , each manger 90 is ready for use by being arranged in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal fence element 7.
According to an advantageous embodiment, one or more longitudinal fence elements 7 can each carry at least one additional barrier 91 which is deployable only when the mobile enclosure 1 is deployed and placed on the ground, as illustrated in FIGS. 14. When she is put away, as represented by the , this additional barrier 91 is carried by the longitudinal fence element 7, and is held parallel to and against the outer face of the longitudinal fence element 7.
. One of the ends of this additional barrier, called the proximal end 911, is assembled to the longitudinal fence element 7 by a pivot connection with a vertical axis. This proximal end 911 is also slidably mounted along the longitudinal fence element 7, along the lower 912 and upper 913 longitudinal support profiles serving as rails for the lower and upper guide pieces of the proximal end 911.
This connection with the longitudinal fence element 7 allows the additional barrier 91 to be deployed, as shown in Figures 13 and 14. This deployment, however, can only be done when the mobile enclosure 1 rests on the ground. Indeed, the connection connecting the additional barrier 91 to the longitudinal fence element 7 does not constitute a load-bearing joint, and is not designed or dimensioned to carry the additional barrier cantilevered. Barrier 91 itself, of lightweight design, could become deformed or damaged if deployed cantilevered.
Pour permettre le déploiement de la barrière supplémentaire 91, quand l’enclos mobile 1 est au sol, la barrière supplémentaire 91 comporte une roue 92 au niveau du coin inférieur de son extrémité distale 919, opposée à son extrémité proximale 911.To allow the deployment of the additional barrier 91, when the mobile enclosure 1 is on the ground, the additional barrier 91 comprises a wheel 92 at the level of the lower corner of its distal end 919, opposite to its proximal end 911.
In another embodiment represented by the , the additional barriers 91 can be supplemented by other additional barriers 93, assembled on the distal end 919 of the additional barriers 91. Each of these second additional barriers 93 advantageously comprises a wheel 94, carrying its unassembled end to the barrier 91 .
Such additional barriers advantageously make it possible to form a drawdown zone 95 facilitating the entry of cattle into the mobile enclosure 1. It should however be noted that these additional barriers are optional barriers added to the mobile enclosure 1. They are not part of the mobile fence elements constituting the mobile enclosure 1 according to the invention.
According to the invention, the joints connecting the mobile fence elements 6 and 7 to each other and to the load-bearing structure 2 are load-bearing joints, that is to say joints designed and dimensioned so that the mobile fence elements 6 and 7 can be carried by the support structure 2, and move around their joints while they are carried by the support structure 2 .
In the embodiments represented by FIGS. 6 and 7, these supporting joints are all pivots, allowing the relative rotations of the movable fence elements 6 and 7 around vertical axes, and blocking their translation along these vertical axes. Thus, these joints form hinges with a vertical axis which allow the deployment in a horizontal plane of the elements they connect. The fence elements and the bearing joints are dimensioned in a sufficiently robust manner, and with a sufficiently small clearance, so that the mobile fence elements 6 and 7 can be fully deployed, without being in contact with the ground, while being carried by the supporting structure 2.
The structures and joints of the movable fence elements 6 and 7 according to the invention are therefore fundamentally different from those of movable barriers carried by wheels, which can be deployed to form an enclosure. Indeed, such mobile barriers are not sized to support, cantilevered the weight of other barriers. On the contrary, they are designed to be relatively light, in order to be moved more easily. Furthermore, the joints which connect such movable barriers to each other or to a fixed structure normally have significant clearances, so as not to create blockages hindering the movement of the barriers, on their wheels, on uneven or sloping ground. Such moveable gate joints are unable to hold the gate cantilevered as it moves around the joint. A fortiori, they are incapable of holding a movable barrier cantilevered, by one of its ends, if the other end of the movable barrier itself supports part of the weight of another barrier.
Thus, according to the invention, the movable fence elements 6 and 7 are assembled together and to the supporting structure 2 by means of supporting joints 61, 62, 71, 72, 81 and 82 able to support the elements of mobile fence 6 and 7 at a high position away from the ground in their deployed state when the supporting structure 2 is in the high position.
The mobile fence elements 6 and 7 are thus designed to unfold and fold up while they are suspended above the ground, carried by the supporting structure 2. Once the mobile enclosure 1 is in its deployed position that the supporting structure 2 is intended to be lowered to place the mobile enclosure 1 on the ground and that it is directly operational as shown on the . This deployment and this folding, at a distance from the ground, is much easier to achieve than a deployment or a folding of mobile barriers which are in contact with the ground (often very uneven), for example by means of wheels. The absence of contact with the ground indeed avoids any friction, so that the resistance to movement of the movable fence elements 6 and 7 is reduced and predictable.
This low resistance to movement makes it possible to easily motorize the deployment and folding of the mobile fence elements 6 and 7, when the supporting structure 2 which carries them is in the high position maintaining these mobile fence elements 6 and 7 at a distance from the ground.
These joints 71 and 72 make it possible to follow the pivoting movement of the transverse fence elements 6 when they unfold or fold up to the associated longitudinal fence elements 7.
In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 7, the movable fence elements 6 and 7 fold up "accordion" on each side of the supporting structure 2. The supporting joints are advantageously distributed alternately on the inner face and on the outer face of the transverse fence elements of the mobile enclosure 1. Thus, the joints 81 and 82 are located on the inner face of the mobile enclosure 1, at the junction of the fixed fence elements 2A and 2B and the panels 6A, allowing a folding of the panels 6A so that the inner face of the panels 6A comes opposite the supporting structure 2. The articulation 61 and 62 are located on the outer face of the mobile enclosure 1, at the junction of the panels 6A and 6B, allowing a folding of the panels 6B so that the outer face of the panels 6B comes opposite the outer face of the panel 6A. The joints 71 and 72 located on the inside face of the mobile enclosure 1, at the junction of the panels 6B and the longitudinal fence elements 7, allowing the longitudinal fence elements 7 to be folded back in such a way that the inside face of the longitudinal fence comes opposite the inner face of the panels 6B and the support structure 2, substantially parallel to the latter. The deployment of the mobile enclosure 1 is done by a reverse movement allowing the transverse fence elements 6 to be substantially orthogonal to the supporting structure 2 and to the longitudinal fence elements 7.
Les quatre vérins 83 équipant l’enclos mobile 1 permettent ainsi d’assurer complètement le déploiement et le repliage des éléments de clôture mobile 6 et 7.This conformation of the joints makes it possible to completely motorize the deployment and folding of the mobile fence elements 6 and 7, on each side of the support structure 2, by motorizing the movement of the panels 6A with respect to the support structure 2. The four cylinders 83 equipping the mobile enclosure 1 thus make it possible to completely ensure the deployment and folding of the mobile fence elements 6 and 7.
This control panel 10 is for example located on the front fixed fence element 2A and at head height. In addition, the supporting structure 2 is advantageously hollow in its lower part facing the ground in order to provide space for the routing of all the supply and connection cables of the various cylinders 83, 36, 48 and 49 placed at each front 20 and rear 21 end of the supporting structure 2.
The represents a mobile enclosure 1 according to another possible embodiment of the invention. a large part of the components of this mobile enclosure 1 are identical to those of the embodiment represented by FIGS. 1 to 7. They are therefore designated by the same references, and are not described in more detail.
In this mobile enclosure 1, the transverse fence elements each consist of a single panel 6C, reducing the length of the transverse fence elements and therefore the width of the mobile enclosure 1. Thus, the folding of the mobile enclosure 1 is made by bringing the panels 6C adjoining the front fixed fence element 2A opposite the supporting structure 2 and the panels 6C adjoining the rear fixed fence element 2B opposite the bearing structure 4.
Thus, in the storage position of the mobile enclosure 1, the longitudinal fence elements 7 extend from the ends of the panels 6C adjoining the front fixed fence element 2A, and facing the inside face of the panels 6C adjoining the rear fixed fence element 2B.
On each side of the supporting structure 2, the movable fence elements form, with the supporting structure 2, a deformable parallelogram. The deployment and folding of the mobile fence element can therefore be done very easily, and can be easily motorized by a single cylinder on each side of the supporting structure. Two cylinders allowing the actuation of all the mobile fence elements can thus be placed at the front of the supporting structure 2.
