Ce soutien lombaire ajustable comprend un cadre, une unité d'ajustement et une butée. Le cadre comprend des plaques verticales et horizontales connectées entre elles avec des ouvertures de fixation, en utilisant des vis sur la carcasse du dossier du fauteuil et des gorges le long desquelles se déplace l'unité d'ajustement. L'unité d'ajustement comprend un chariot assurant le déplacement le long des gorges et un écrou papillon assurant le pressage de la butée contre le dos. La butée comprend deux plaques recourbées se croisant avec une ouverture au niveau de la connexion, dans laquelle vient se fixer une vis papillon, et un bouchon sur lequel repose la vis papillon. Aux extrémités des plaques de butée se trouvent des ouvertures par le biais desquelles, par la rotation des vis, on effectue un déplacement des pinces et une tension des ceintures.
