Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil pour réaliser un marquage indélébile et permanent sur un cuir brut, ou sur la peau d'un animal abattu de telle sorte que le marquage reste visible après que le cuir brut a été séparé de l'animal et tout au long du procédé de fabrication du cuir. Par l'utilisation d'un ensemble de caractères à sept segments en tant que style préféré, l'invention est capable d'identifier de manière unique chaque cuir brut, avec une base de données internationale. L'invention concerne un procédé pour fournir une traçabilité de cuirs bruts tout au long des processus de tannerie et pour gérer des données associées aux processus de tannerie.
