- the lower rotating shaft portion 61 is formed with an auxiliary adjustment portion 65 that can adjust the flow rate of the blown air by adjusting the flow path area of the lower cold air bypass By2.
- the auxiliary adjustment section 65 is constituted by a plate-shaped member extending in the radial direction from the center of the lower rotating shaft section 61.
- the auxiliary adjustment portion 65 is located overlapping the rear opening 44 with respect to the position in the vehicle width direction and the vertical direction. Further, the auxiliary adjustment portion 65 is located overlapping the center vent opening 43 with respect to the vehicle width direction.
- the lower shutter body 64 partially overlaps the heater 33 and partially blocks the lower cold air bypass By2. At this time, part of the blown air that has passed through the evaporator 32 passes through the lower part of the heater 33, and part of it passes through the lower cold air bypass By2. In such a case, the auxiliary adjustment section 65 narrows the flow path cross-sectional area of the lower cold air bypass By2. In other words, the auxiliary adjustment unit 65 adjusts the lower cold air bypass By2 when both the air that has passed through the lower part of the heater 33 and the air that has passed through the lower cold air bypass By2 flow toward the rear opening 44. It is provided in the lower rotating shaft portion 61 so as to narrow the cross-sectional area of the flow path.
- the auxiliary adjustment unit 65 disconnects the flow path of the lower cold air bypass By2. Reduce area. As a result, the flow rate of the blast air passing through the lower cold air bypass By2 decreases. Since the flow rate of the blown air passing through the lower cold air bypass By2 is small, the flow rate of hot air required to adjust the temperature to a predetermined temperature is also small. That is, the flow rate of the blown air passing through the lower part of the heater 33 is also small. Relatively, the flow rate of the blast air passing through the upper cold air bypass By1 and the flow rate of air passing through the upper part of the heater 33 increase.
- the present inventors closed the rear seat ventilation switching section 17 (see FIG. 3) and calculated the difference between the temperature of the air blown out from the side vent opening 42 and the temperature of the air blown out from the center vent opening 43. I measured it.
- FIG. 6 shows the relationship between the blowing air temperature and the mix door position.
- the vertical axis shows the blown air temperature
- the horizontal axis shows the mix door position. In the mixed door position, the left end is at full cool and the right end is at full hot.
- the difference (T4-T3) between the temperature T3 of the blown air when the flow path area is narrowed by the auxiliary adjustment unit 65 (see FIG. 5A) and the temperature T4 of the blown air is the difference between the temperature of the blown air when the auxiliary adjustment unit 65 (see FIG. 5A) is not used.
- the difference was smaller than the difference between the air temperature T1 and the blown air temperature T2 (T2-T1). In other words, (T4-T3) ⁇ (T2-T1).
- the value of T4-T3 was a sufficiently tolerable difference that did not cause discomfort to the occupants.
- FIG. 5B shows the vehicle air conditioning unit 20 in full cool mode.
- the upper and lower rotating shaft parts 51 and 61 rotate, and the upper and lower shutter bodies 54 and 64 slide to substantially cover the front surface of the heater 33.
- the auxiliary adjustment portion 65 is oriented in the direction along the flow of the blown air. That is, the auxiliary adjustment unit 65 maximizes the flow path cross-sectional area of the lower cold air bypass By2 in the full cool mode in which the amount of blown air passing through the lower part of the heater 33 is the smallest.
- the difference between the flow rate of cold air passing through the upper cold air bypass By1 and the flow rate of cold air passing through the lower cold air bypass By2 is the smallest.
- the auxiliary adjustment section 65 may be oriented in any direction.
- the vehicle air conditioning unit 20 described above has the following effects.
- the cold air that has passed through the lower cold air bypass By2 flows along the rear wall of the case 40, and is formed downstream of the side vent opening 142 when viewed along the flow direction of the lower conditioned air. It is thought that more air is blown out from the center vent opening 143. In comparison, more of the warm air that has passed through the lower part of the heater 133 is blown out from the side vent opening 142. As a result, it is considered that the difference between the temperature T2 of the conditioned air blown out from the side vent opening 142 and the temperature T1 of the conditioned air blown out from the center vent opening 143 exceeds the predetermined value.
- the lower cold air bypass By2 is By reducing the opening degree, the amount of air blown into the lower mix space Mi2 in this temperature range can be reduced.
- the amount of cold air flowing into the center vent opening 43 can be reduced even if the flow path of the rear duct 16 is closed by the rear seat air switching section 17.
- the amount of hot air flowing into the side vent opening 42 can be reduced.
- a vehicle air conditioning unit 20 with improved comfort can be provided.
- the auxiliary adjustment unit 65 maximizes the flow passage cross-sectional area of the lower cold air bypass By2 in the full cool mode. Normally, in the case of full cool mode, it is necessary to rapidly cool the interior of the vehicle interior 11 (see FIG. 1). By supplying blast air to the entire vehicle interior 11 in a situation where rapid cooling is required, the entire vehicle interior 11 can be quickly cooled. In addition, in the full cool mode, since the flow rate of the blown air that passes through the heater 33 is small (or does not pass through it), there is a problem that the temperature of the air blown out at the center vent opening 43 and the side vent opening 42 is different. It doesn't occur in the first place.
- the auxiliary adjustment section 65 is located overlapping the rear opening 44 when viewed along the flow direction of the lower conditioned air. Even when the rear seat ventilation switching section 17 is suddenly closed, the flow rate of the blast air passing through the lower cold air bypass By2 is reduced in advance, so that the air is blown out from the side vent opening 42 and the center vent opening 43. The influence of the temperature of the conditioned air can be suppressed. The comfort inside the vehicle can be further improved.
- the auxiliary adjustment section 65 is located overlapping the center vent opening 43 when viewed along the flow direction of the lower conditioned air. Even when the rear seat ventilation switching section 17 is suddenly blocked, the flow rate of the blast air passing through the lower cold air bypass By2 is reduced in advance, so that air is blown out from the center vent opening 43 and the side vent opening 42. The influence of the temperature of the conditioned air can be suppressed. Comfort within the vehicle interior 11 can be further improved.
- vehicle air conditioning unit according to the present invention has been described using an example in which the case is divided into left and right rooms, it is also applicable to a vehicle air conditioning unit that is not divided into left and right rooms.
- a guide member in the upper mix space Mi1 to guide the blown air to the side vent opening 42 and the center vent opening 43.
- the upper mix door 50 has been described as having the slidable upper shutter body 54, it may be configured with a well-known cantilever door or butterfly door.
- the form of the upper mix door 50 is not limited as long as the ratio of the blown air passing through the upper cold air bypass By1 and the blown air passing through the upper part of the heater 33 can be adjusted.
- the present invention is not limited to the examples as long as the functions and effects of the present invention are achieved.
- the vehicle air conditioning unit of the present invention is suitable for being mounted on a passenger vehicle.

Abstract
Description

<実施例>
