Definitions
- the invention relates to an automatic water separation system, wherein the contamination degree of the used water is detected, the used water with contamination below a predefined limit contamination level is accumulated in a reservoir for reuse and the used water with contamination above the predefined limit contamination level is directly guided to the wastewater installation.
- the water with the possibility of reuse is referred as the grey water.
- Various systems are available today for the storage of the grey water and for the supply of the same for reuse. Most of the time, the grey water is accumulated in the reservoirs positioned inside or outside the houses and is supplied for reuse. The requirement for infrastructure in said systems brings about the necessity to install the system during the construction. In other words, these systems are not possible to be integrated into the existing systems.
- Another drawback of the currently available systems is that the used water is directly stored without paying regard to its degree of contamination. Even though the used waters not containing the toilet waste are reusable, they may lead to undesirable growths and/or odors inside the reservoir, based on their level of contamination.
- the system according to the invention in addition to providing great advantage owing to its ability to be integrated into the existing usage areas, further enables the above- mentioned problems of the systems according to the state of art to be eliminated owing to the used water being stored or being directed to the wastewater installation according to its degree of contamination.
- An object of the invention is to develop a system, in which the used water is enabled to be stored and supplied for reuse.
- Another object of the invention is to develop a system, in which the used water is stored or directly guided to the wastewater installation according to its degree of contamination.
- Another object of the invention is to develop a compact system, which may be integrated into the existing usage areas.

- At least one body (1) which has at least one used water inlet (11), at least one wastewater outlet (12) and at least one grey water outlet (13),
- At least one cap (16) which controls the opening and closing of the connectionbetween the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14), i.e., permits or prevents the passage of the water, entering the body (1) via the water inlet (11), to the grey water outlet (13),
- the water inlet (11) is a water inlet (11), via which the water that has been used in the usage area enters the body (1). More particularly, in an embodiment where the system according to the invention is to be used for the separation and storage of the used water originating from a ceramic sanitary ware, from a sink in a preferred embodiment, the body (1) is fixed to the water outlet of the sink. In the system according to the invention, the body (1) also serves the function of a trap. Accordingly, the body (1) is positioned on the sink such that the water inlet (11) of the body (1) will align with the water outlet of the sink.
- the wastewater outlet (12) is connected to the wastewater installation for the purpose of directly guiding to the wastewater installation the water, which has been used and which will not be stored as it has been detected to have a contamination value above a predetermined limit contamination value.
- the grey water outlet (13) is connected to the grey water reservoir (7) for the purpose of transferring to grey water reservoir (7) the water, which has been used and which will be stored as it has been detected to have a contamination value below a predetermined limit contamination value.
- the cap (16) has at least one cap grey water outlet opening (161), which permits the passage of the water to the grey water outlet (13) when it is desired to direct the water, entering the body (1) via the water inlet (11), to the grey water reservoir (7) via the grey water outlet (13).
- the cap grey water outlet opening (161) is a cap grey water outlet opening (161), which is disposed over the grey water outlet (13) in at least one position of the cap (16) to thereby permit the passage of the water.
- the grey water outlet (13) is located on the body (1) at a position that is lower than the position of the wastewater outlet (12).
- the connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14) is closed by the cap (16)
- the used water entering the body (1) via the water inlet (11) leaves the body (1) primarily via the grey water outlet (13).
- the connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14), via which the passage of the water, entering the body (1) via the water inlet (11), to the grey water outlet (13) takes place is a connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14), which is possible to be opened and closed, and the cap (16) is positioned on body (1) in such a way that it will be able to perform the movement enabling to open and close said connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14).
- the cap (16) in at least one position thereof, enables the wastewater to be guided directly to the wastewater installation via the wastewater outlet (12), by closing the connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14).
- the cap (16) in at least one other position thereof, enables the water to be guided to the grey water reservoir (7) via the grey water outlet (13), by opening the connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14).
- the cap (16) enables the connection (14) between the water inlet and the grey water outlet to be opened or closed by performing a rotational movement on the body (1).
- the cap (16) is positioned on the actuator (2) in order to be able to perform said rotational movement and rotates as a result of the rotation of the actuator (2).
- the body (1) has at least one actuator housing (15), in which the actuator (2) may be positioned.
- the actuator housing (15) is an actuator housing (15), which at the same time prevents the actuator (2) from contacting the water entering the body (1).
- the cap (16) enters the actuator housing (15) by performing a rotational movement when it is desired to open the connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14), and the cap (16) comes out of the actuator housing (15) again by way of rotation to enable the connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14)to be closed when it is desired to close the connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14).
- a preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one contamination sensor (3), which enables the degree of contamination of the used water entering the body (1) to be detected.
- said contamination sensor (3) is preferably positioned on the body (1), in a section where it will contact the used water.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one level sensor (4), which enables the level of the water inside the grey water reservoir (7) to be detected. Further, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, said level sensor (4) is positioned inside the grey water reservoir (7).
- a preferred embodiment of the invention has at least one control unit (5), which enables the actuator (2) to be controlled preferably based on the data coming from the contamination sensor (3) and/or the level sensor (4).
- the actuator (2) in case it is detected by the contamination sensor (3) that the used water has a contamination level below a predefined limit contamination level, the actuator (2) is enabled to move in the direction in which the cap (16) will open the connection between the water inlet and the grey water outlet (14), and thus, the water entering the body (1) via the water inlet (11) is enabled to be directed to the grey water reservoir (7) via the grey water outlet (13).
