- Indirubin is a lipophilic red coloring substance of natural origin which can in particular come from dyeing plants, just like its blue isomer, indigotine (or indigo).
- Indirubin and indigotine are bis-indoles belonging to the family of indigoids (coloring substances of the indigo group).
- indigo such as Isatis tinctoria, Indigofera tinctoria, Indigo suffruticosa, Philenoptera cyanescens or Polygonum tinctorium. (also called Persîcarîa t Suctorîd).
- indigo plants produce indoxyl derivatives. Indoxyl is a very unstable intermediate which, once released, oxidizes and dimerizes to give indigotine or indirubine (Fagbohoun L., Chemical study of natural dyes and traditional resinous materials in Benin in the field artisanal, 2015).
- the inventors have observed that the cosmetic compositions colored with indirubin, in particular when they are in the form of an emulsion, discolor rapidly over time, in particular under the effect of UV/visible radiation and the heat. Indeed, the initial coloration deteriorates significantly and therefore does not comply with the defined stability criteria. In addition, this degradation can be accompanied by the appearance of unpleasant odors.
- the subject of the present invention is a cosmetic composition having at least one fatty phase and comprising: a) indirubin; b) at least one ascorbic acid ester; and c) at least one salt of citric acid and piperidinol compound.

- the raw materials used are the same as previously described.
- compositions 11 to 15, containing indirubin were studied after storage under UV radiation for 1 Oh (Sun-Test), using an Atlas Suntest CPS device, from the company Ametek (samples exposed for a duration of 10 hours at a visible UVA and UV spectrum, with wavelengths of 290nm to 800nm).

- organoleptic evaluation samples are compared to control samples stored in the dark at 4°C.
- the stability under the accelerated aging conditions described previously (1 month at 50° C. or 3 months at 40° C.) is also evaluated.
- Comparative composition 11 does not contain the combination of the compounds ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate and tris citrate (tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol). The results show that this composition is completely discolored under the effect of the Sun-Test. The color is also not stable under accelerated aging conditions (1 month at 50°C and 3 months at 40°C). The color of composition 11 is therefore not stable, either under the Sun Test conditions or under accelerated aging conditions.
- Comparative composition 12 does not contain the combination according to the invention but does include the combination of antioxidants described in document FR 3107455.
- the results show that this combination has a positive effect on the stability in the Sun Test (for compared to composition 11) but its color is all the same altered under the effect of the Sun-Test as well as under accelerated aging conditions at 50° C. (the color even turns towards beige).
- this combination of antioxidants (used in document FR 3107455 to stabilize the color of a composition containing astaxanthin) is not particularly suitable for stabilizing the color of a composition containing indirubin and remains less effective than the combination according to the invention in stabilizing the color under the different conditions.
- Comparative composition 13 contains the combination of ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate and tocopherol in fairly high concentrations (1% for each of these two antioxidants) but does not contain the compound tris(tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) citrate. Despite the fairly high levels of the antioxidants used, the color of the composition is very unstable under the effect of the Sun-Test (complete discoloration).
- Comparative composition 14 contains the combination of tris(tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) citrate and 1% tocopherol but does not contain the compound ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate. Its color is strongly altered and turns towards the yellow under the effect of the Sun-Test.
- the color of the compositions containing indirubin remains insufficiently stable (in the Sun Test and/or under accelerated aging conditions) and unsatisfactory.
- underlying degradation phenomena are sometimes accompanied by more or less pronounced odors.
- compositions 10 and 15, containing the particular combination according to the invention the pale pink color is preserved and stabilized, whether under the Sun-Test conditions or after storage under aging conditions. accelerated (at 50°C for 1 month or at 40°C for 3 months).
- the inventors have demonstrated the advantages of the particular cocktail of protective agents used for preserving the color of indirubin in cosmetic compositions, including in the form of emulsions.

Description
Description
Description détaillée
[0031] A titre d’exemples non limitatifs d’esters d’acide ascorbique utilisables selon
[0050] Par “corps gras”, on entend au sens de l’invention un composé organique non miscible dans l’eau à température ambiante (25°C) et à pression atmosphérique (1,013 . 105 Pa ;
