A sliding door (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising an upper guide rail module (100), a lower guide rail module (200) and a flexible door panel (300). The upper guide rail module (100) and the lower guide rail module (200) respectively cooperate with a guide rail assembly on the vehicle body to guide and support the movement of the sliding door (10). The flexible door panel (300) is connected between the upper guide rail module (100) and the lower guide rail module (200).
