- a fluid for example a perfume
- the valve By introducing a fluid, for example a perfume, through the valve into the fluid receiving means, this is initially temporarily stored there and penetrates through the passage opening into the Fluid storage medium surrounding fluid receiving means.
- the fragrance exits the fluid storage medium in gaseous form, but remains trapped within the holder until the holder is rotated and/or translated to align the outlet opening of the holder with the outlet opening of the housing.
- the gaseous fluid in the holder can then escape to the outside environment through the outlet openings of the holder and the outlet openings of the housing.
- a handle section of the valve is connected to the holder.
- the valve thus has a grip section which can be gripped by a user.
- the valve is connected to the holder. Rotating or sliding the handle section also rotates or slides the holder in the housing.
- the valve thus fulfills a dual function.

- the atomizer of the perfume bottle is triggered.
- the perfume injected from the perfume bottle into the fluid conducting channel penetrates through the tip of the plunger and the opening in the first seal into the fluid storage medium, or the fluid receiving means or the fluid container.
- the outlet means in particular the outlet tube of the perfume bottle, is also inserted into the valve through the insertion opening in the second seal.
- the outlet tube enters the fluid passage in the sphere.
- the ball of the ball valve is conveyed in the direction of the lid or the first seal.
- the spiral spring counteracts this movement.
- the atomizer of the perfume bottle is triggered and the fluid or the perfume is sprayed through the fluid channel of the ball into the valve, in particular into the sleeve of the valve.
- This builds up pressure inside the sleeve of the valve.
- the opening in the first, inside seal of the valve opens, so that the fluid can flow out of the valve into the fluid storage medium and/or into the fluid receiving means and/or into the fluid container.
