The present disclosure relates to a method for providing item information corresponding to video content and an apparatus therefor. More specifically, it relates to a method and an electronic device for providing item information corresponding to video content through a predetermined event achievement method along with video content.

With the development of electronic technology, the proportion of e-commerce that purchases products online increases, and customers can purchase products by accessing e-commerce services without going to shopping malls or markets. Along with this, various bundled sales methods are being considered in order to inspire consumers' willingness to purchase. For example, by providing a recipe for making a specific dish and providing a list of ingredients needed for the recipe, purchase of various items can be encouraged.

However, this bundled sales method is limited to purchasing the items necessary to produce a certain result, such as cooking or assembling a product. It was difficult to awaken the need to achieve. Accordingly, in the electronic commerce service, there is a need to arouse the consumer's attention by providing interesting content and achieving a predetermined event.
