Abstract
변속기에서의 전동식 오일 펌프의 배치 위치를 개선함으로써 변속기의 차량으로의 탑재성을 최적화할 수 있는 변속기를 제공한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 변속기는, 하우징과, 상기 하우징에 결합되는 서포트부 및 상기 서포트부에 결합되고, 차량의 프레임과 이격되어 배치되는 펌프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
Description
본 발명은 변속기에 관한 것으로, 상세하게는 차량으로의 탑재성이 최적화된 변속기에 관한 것이다.
더블 클러치 변속기, 하이브리드 변속기 또는 자동 변속기 등에 토크 컨버터 대신 발진 클러치를 적용함에 따라 기계식 오일 펌프 대신 전동식 오일 펌프(EOP : Electric Oil Pump)를 적용하여 요구 유량에 맞게 펌프의 RPM을 조절함으로써, 동력손실을 최소화하는 방안이 진행되고 있다.
즉, 최근 더블 클러치 변속기, 하이브리드 변속기 또는 자동 변속기 등에서는 전동식 오일 펌프를 이용하여 제어용 오일(변속시 선택적으로 작동되는 클러치, 브레이크 등의 마찰부재)과 윤활용 오일(냉각, 윤활)로 공급되는 유압을 효율적으로 관리하고 있다.
이와 같은 전동식 오일 펌프는 예시적으로 모터와 펌프로 구성되어 오일에 잠긴 상태로, 모터에 의해 펌프가 구동하면, 오일 흡입구로 오일을 흡입하여 오일 토출구로 토출하면서 라인압 유로를 형성하는 구조이다. 또한, 라인압 유로 상에는 어큐뮬레이터가 구성되어 유압 쇼크를 제어하면서 유압을 저장하며, 복수 개의 솔레노이드 밸브가 라인압을 컨트롤하여 클러치 또는 브레이크 등의 마찰부재를 작동시키게 된다.
도 1을 참조하면, 종래의 하이브리드용 변속기는 전동식 오일 펌프(EOP, 10')가 변속기(100')의 외부에 장착되어 있으며, 이와 같이 변속기(100')의 외부에 전동식 오일 펌프(10')가 장착되어 있는 경우 차량에 따라 라디에이터부(20', 또는 차량의 프레임일 수 있음)와 간섭되는 경우가 발생할 수 있다.
따라서, 내부 규격 또는 내부에 배치된 부품들의 레이아웃이 서로 다른 다양한 차량에 전동식 오일 펌프(10')가 외부에 장착된 변속기(100')를 탑재하는 것이 어려우므로, 개발되는 차량마다 간섭회피를 위하여 전동식 오일 펌프(10')를 비롯한 일부 부품들의 형상 및 배치가 불가피하게 변경되어야하는 문제점이 있다.
본 발명은 전술한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 안출된 것으로서, 변속기에서의 전동식 오일 펌프의 배치 위치를 개선함으로써 변속기의 차량으로의 탑재성을 최적화할 수 있는 변속기를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 변속기는, 하우징과, 상기 하우징에 결합되는 서포트부 및 상기 서포트부에 결합되고, 상기 차량의 프레임과 이격되어 배치되는 펌프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 펌프는, 상기 서포트부에 일체로 결합되는 펌핑부와, 상기 펌핑부의 일측에 결합되는 커버부 및 상기 펌핑부의 타측에 결합되어 상기 펌핑부에 동력을 제공하는 모터부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 모터부는 상기 차량의 프레임과 이격되어 배치되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 펌프는 베인 펌프인 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 펌핑부는, 상기 서포트부에 결합되는 캠링과, 상기 캠링의 내부에 형성되는 로터와, 상기 로터와 연결되고, 상기 캠링에 접하도록 배치되는 베인을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 베인은, 상기 제 1 베인 및 상기 제 1 베인과 교차되도록 배치되는 제 2 베인을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 서포트부는 상기 변속기의 인풋 샤프트를 지지하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따르면, 펌프와 차량의 프레임 또는 차량 내부의 부품들과의 간섭이 최소화될 수 있고, 이에 따라 차량의 종류에 관계없이 변속기의 차량으로의 탑재성이 최적화될 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따르면 동일 변속기 작동유의 유량 대비 펌프의 모터부의 회전속도가 감소함으로써 차량의 연비가 향상될 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따르면 동일 변속기 작동유의 유량 대비 펌프의 모터부의 전류가 낮아지게 되어 차량의 연비가 향상되고, 낮은 모터 용량 설계가 가능하여 비용이 절감될 수 있다.

이하, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 첨부된 도면들을 참조하여 상세히 설명한다. 우선 각 도면의 구성 요소들에 참조 부호를 부가함에 있어서, 동일한 구성 요소들에 대해서는 비록 다른 도면상에 표시되더라도 가능한 한 동일한 부호를 가지도록 하고 있음에 유의해야 한다. 또한, 본 발명을 설명함에 있어, 관련된 공지 구성 또는 기능에 대한 구체적인 설명이 본 발명의 요지를 흐릴 수 있다고 판단되는 경우에는 그 상세한 설명은 생략한다. 또한, 이하에서 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 설명할 것이나, 본 발명의 기술적 사상은 이에 한정하거나 제한되지 않고 당업자에 의해 변형되어 다양하게 실시될 수 있음은 물론이다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 변속기(100)에서의 펌프(30)의 배치를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 변속기(100)는 하우징(10), 서포트부(20) 및 펌프(30)를 포함한다. 이 때, 변속기(100)는 차량(예 : 하이브리드 차량)의 내부에 탑재될 수 있다.
하우징(10)의 내부에는, 차량의 변속을 위한 구성(미도시) 및 모터(미도시)가 구비될 수 있다. 또한, 도시되지는 않았으나 차량 내에는 엔진, 배터리 등이 더 포함될 수 있다.
서포트부(20)는 하우징(10)에 결합될 수 있으며, 서포트부(20)는 변속기(100)의 인풋 샤프트(input shaft, 미도시)를 지지하는 구성일 수 있다.
펌프(30)는 전동식 오일 펌프(EOP : electric oil pump)의 일종일 수 있다.
상기 펌프(30)는 변속기(100)의 외부에 장착될 수 있으며, 상세하게는 변속기(100)의 하우징(10)에 결합된 서포트부(20)에 결합될 수 있다.
이 때, 서포트부(20)에 결합된 펌프(30)는 차량의 프레임(F)과 이격되어 배치될 수 있다.
도 3은 변속기(100)에 구비된 서포트부(20)와 펌프(30) 간의 결합관계를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 전동식 오일 펌프의 일종인 펌프(30)는 펌핑부(32), 커버부(34) 및 모터부(36)를 포함한다.
펌핑부(32)는 도 2 및 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 서포트부(20)에 일체로 결합될 수 있다.
커버부(34)는 펌핑부(32)의 일측(하우징(10) 방향)에 축 방향으로 결합되어, 펌핑부(32)에 이물질이 유입되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
모터부(36)는 펌핑부(32)의 타측(차량의 프레임(F) 방향)에 축 방향으로 결합되어 펌핑부(32)가 구동될 수 있도록 동력을 제공할 수 있다.
예시적으로, 펌프(30)는 모터부(36)에 의해 펌핑부(32)가 구동되면, 오일 흡입구(미도시, 서포트부(20)에 구성될 수 있음)로 오일(변속기 작동유)을 흡입하여 오일 토출구(미도시, 서포트부(20)에 구성될 수 있음)로 토출하면서 라인압 유로를 형성하는 구조일 수 있다.
이 때, 도 2 및 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 모터부(36)는 펌프(30)가 서포트부(20)에 결합된 상태에서, 차량의 프레임(F)과 이격되어 배치될 수 있다.
이와 같이 펌프(30)의 펌핑부(32)를 변속기(100)의 인풋 샤프트를 지지하는 서포트부(20)에 일체로 결합함으로써, 모터부(36) 내에 펌핑부(32)를 구성하는 구조에 비해 서포트부(20)와 펌프(30)가 결합된 구조에서 변속기(100)의 인풋 샤프트 방향에서의 전장을 축소할 수 있다.
이에 따라, 펌프(30)가 차량의 프레임(F)과 이격되어 배치됨으로써 차량의 프레임(F) 또는 차량 내부의 부품(예 : 라디에이터 등)들과의 간섭이 최소화될 수 있고, 이에 따라 차량의 종류에 관계없이 변속기(100)의 차량으로의 탑재성이 최적화될 수 있다.
또한, 모터부(36) 내에 펌핑부(32)가 결합되지 않고, 펌핑부(32)가 서포트부(20)에 일체로 결합된 상태에서 모터부(36)가 축 방향으로 결합되므로, 펌핑부(32)의 측면을 따라 유로가 형성되는 것이 가능하다.

본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 변속기(100)에서, 펌프(30)는 베인 펌프(vane pump), 바람직하게는 바이너리 베인 펌프(binary vane pump)일 수 있다.
도 4를 참조하면, 상기 펌프(30)의 펌핑부(32)는 서포트부(20)에 결합되는 캠링(322, cam ring)과, 로터(324, rotor) 및 베인(326, vane)을 포함한다.
캠링(322)의 내부에는 로터(324)가 형성되며, 베인(326)은 로터(324)와 연결되고 캠링(322)에 접하도록 배치될 수 있다.
이 때, 베인(326)은 제 1 베인(326a) 및 상기 제 1 베인(326a)과 교차되도록 배치되는 제 2 베인(326b)을 포함할 수 있다.
일례로서, 제 1 베인(326a)은 변속기 작동유의 흡입측일 수 있고, 제 2 베인(326b)은 변속기 작동유의 토출측일 수 있다. 이 때, 제 1 베인(326a)을 통해 양방향으로 로터(324) 내에 변속기 작동유가 유입될 수 있고, 로터(324)의 회전에 따라 제 2 베인(326b)을 통해 양방향으로 로터(324)에 유입된 변속기 작동유가 외부로 토출될 수 있다.
도 4에 도시된 바와 같이 제 1 베인(326a) 및 제 2 베인(326b)을 통해 변속기 작동유의 양방향 흡입 및 양방향 토출이 가능할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 변속기(100)에서는 바이너리 베인 펌프를 적용함으로써 변속기 작동유의 양방향 흡입 및 양방향 토출로 기존의 로터리 펌프(rotary pump) 대비 레이아웃이 최적화될 뿐만 아니라 기존의 로터리 펌프에 존재하는 팁 간격(tip clearance)가 제거됨에 따라 전동식 오일 펌프의 체적 효율이 향상되는 장점이 있다. 이와 같이 전동식 오일 펌프의 체적 효율이 향상되는 경우 동일 변속기 작동유의 유량 대비 모터부(36)의 회전속도가 감소함으로써 차량의 연비가 향상될 수 있다.
또한, 기존의 로터리 펌프 대비 캠링(322)과 커버부(34)의 접촉면적 감소로 전동식 오일 펌프의 구동토크가 저감될 수 있다. 이와 같이 전동식 오일 펌프의 구동토크가 저감되는 경우, 동일 변속기 작동유의 유량 대비 모터부(36)의 전류가 낮아지게 되어 차량의 연비가 향상되고, 낮은 모터 용량 설계가 가능하여 비용이 절감될 수 있다.
이상의 설명은 본 발명의 기술 사상을 예시적으로 설명한 것에 불과한 것으로서, 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 본 발명의 본질적인 특성에서 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 다양한 수정, 변경 및 치환이 가능할 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명에 개시된 실시예 및 첨부된 도면들은 본 발명의 기술 사상을 한정하기 위한 것이 아니라 설명하기 위한 것이고, 이러한 실시예 및 첨부된 도면에 의하여 본 발명의 기술 사상의 범위가 한정되는 것은 아니다. 본 발명의 보호 범위는 아래의 청구범위에 의하여 해석되어야 하며, 그와 동등한 범위 내에 있는 모든 기술 사상은 본 발명의 권리범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.
Claims (7)
- 차량의 내부에 탑재되는 변속기에 있어서,하우징;상기 하우징에 결합되는 서포트부; 및상기 서포트부에 결합되고, 상기 차량의 프레임과 이격되어 배치되는 펌프;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변속기.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 펌프는,상기 서포트부에 일체로 결합되는 펌핑부와,상기 펌핑부의 일측에 결합되는 커버부 및상기 펌핑부의 타측에 결합되어 상기 펌핑부에 동력을 제공하는 모터부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변속기.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 모터부는 상기 차량의 프레임과 이격되어 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 변속기.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 펌프는 베인 펌프(vane pump)인 것을 특징으로 하는 변속기.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 펌핑부는,상기 서포트부에 결합되는 캠링(cam ring)과,상기 캠링의 내부에 형성되는 로터(rotor)와,상기 로터와 연결되고, 상기 캠링에 접하도록 배치되는 베인(vane)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변속기.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 베인은,상기 제 1 베인 및 상기 제 1 베인과 교차되도록 배치되는 제 2 베인을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변속기.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 서포트부는 상기 변속기의 인풋 샤프트(input shaft)를 지지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변속기.
