Abstract
Description
以下、本発明のフェライト系ステンレス鋼に関して詳細に説明する。
まず、本発明のフェライト系ステンレス鋼に含まれる成分について説明する。なお、各元素の含有量「%」表示は質量%を意味する。
Al、Nb、B及びTiの元素は添加しなくてもよい。これらの元素は添加すればフェライト系ステンレス鋼の成形性を向上し、熱間加工時の疵を抑制する効果を有する。添加する際の、Al含有量は0.30%以下とし、Nb含有量は0.070%以下とし、B含有量は0.0030%以下とし、Ti含有量は0.070%以下とする。上記効果を確実に得るためには、Al、Nb、Ti含有量は0.01%以上、B含有量は0.001%以上とすることが好ましい。
Sn、Cu、W、Co及びZrの元素は添加しなくてもよい。これらの元素は耐食性を向上させる効果を有する。添加する際の、Sn含有量は0.12%以下とし、Cu含有量は0.40%以下とし、W含有量は1.000%以下とし、Co含有量は0.500%以下とし、Zr含有量は0.500%以下とする。上記効果を確実に得るためには、Sn、Cu、Co、Zr含有量は0.01%以上、W含有量は0.1%以上とすることが好ましい。
Ca、Mg、Y、REM及びSbの元素は添加しなくてもよい。これらの元素は酸化物や硫化物等の介在物を変化させて熱間加工疵を抑制する効果を有する。添加する際の、Ca含有量は0.0050%以下とし、Mg含有量は0.0050%以下とし、Y含有量は0.1000%以下とし、Hf含有量は0.20%以下とし、REM含有量は0.10%以下とし、Sb含有量は0.15%以下とする。上記効果を確実に得るためには、Ca、Mg含有量は0.0001%以上、Y、Hf、REM含有量は0.01%以上とすることが好ましい。
本発明のフェライト系ステンレス鋼では、フェライト相の平均結晶粒径を微細化し、かつ炭化物のサイズと個数密度を規定することにより、美麗な表面を含めた優れた特性を確保している。
フェライト相の平均結晶粒径は、以下のとおり特定する。電解研磨により試料調整した鋼板のL断面をEBSDにより測定する。測定領域は、板厚1/4tの位置で、300μm×300μmとし、測定のステップサイズは0.1μmとする。隣接するプロットデータ同士の結晶方位差が15°未満であれば、それらを同一結晶粒とみなし、15°以上の方位差があれば、異なる結晶粒として扱って平均結晶粒径を求めた。なお、測定領域にフェライト相以外の相が含まれる場合には、フェライト相のみ抽出したうえで平均結晶粒径を求める。
炭化物のサイズ及び個数密度は以下の方法で特定する。
本発明のフェライト系ステンレス鋼の金属組織は、室温においてフェライト相と極一部の割合にとどまる、多数かつ微細な炭化物により構成される。ただし、多少であれば、前記以外の相の存在を許容できる。例えば、本発明のフェライト系ステンレス鋼は、室温において、主相であるフェライト相以外の相、例えば、オーステナイト相やマルテンサイト相が、面積率において合計で5%以下含まれていても問題はない。
オーステナイト相の有無は、前記段落で記載したEBSDにより測定したデータを用いて判断する。オーステナイト相はFCC構造、フェライト相はBCC構造であることから、測定領域においてFCC構造が占める割合(γ[%])を求めて判定する。式(1)で求めた値が、5%以下であれば、オーステナイト相は無いと判断する。ここで、γはオーステナイト相の面積率(単位:[%])、F、BはそれぞれEBSDで測定した際に得られるFCC構造、BCC構造のプロット数を表す(単位:[個])。
熱延後の板厚は4.0mm以上6.0mm以下、その後の冷延段階での板厚は0.4mm以上4.0mm未満である。本発明のフェライト系ステンレス鋼の板厚は、熱延以降から製品板厚を含めた冷延段階までの0.4mm以上6mm以下を対象とする。
本発明のフェライト系ステンレス鋼の製造方法について説明する。
熱間圧延完了後の冷却速度は熱間圧延完了後から加熱保持の温度に到達する間の平均冷却速度と定義する。温度の履歴は放射温度計を用い測定した。
表2に示す供試材を加熱温度900~1150℃で5分間保持した後、空冷した。そして前記サンプルの焼入れ硬さを調査した。なお、加熱温度は10℃刻みで変化させた。焼入れ安定性(ΔT[℃])は、式(3)により評価した。
表2に示す供試材を加熱温度Tmin、Tmaxで5分間保持した後、空冷し、焼入れサンプルを得た。そして前記焼入れサンプルの酸化スケールを除去し金属肌を露出させたうえ、#600の湿式研磨により表面を仕上げた。ムラ模様は目視で確認した。観察視野の総面積1m2に占めるムラ模様の総面積の割合(以下、及び表2中で「欠陥率」という)が、加熱温度Tmin、Tmaxとも5.0%以下であれば、合格とし、高級刃物に要求される美麗な表面外観を満足すると評価する。それ以外の場合は、不合格とする。表2中の欠陥率は、加熱温度Tmin、Tmax、それぞれの欠陥率の大きい方である。
表面外観の評価試験と同様の焼入れ熱処理、研磨方法で作製した試験片を、試験温度50℃、7%NaCl溶液の塩水噴霧試験に供した。耐食性の合否は、試験片の表面に赤錆が認められるか否かで判断した。試験開始4時間後、加熱温度Tmin、Tmaxの条件とも目視で赤錆が認められなければ合格とし、刃物として必要な耐食性を満足すると判断する。それ以外の場合は不合格とした。合格と判定したものに限り、試験時間の合計が24時間になるまで評価試験を延長した。加熱温度Tmin、Tmaxの条件とも評価試験後に目視で赤錆が認められないときは、耐食性がさらに優れると判定した。

- 質量%で、
C:0.45%以上0.55%以下、
Si:0.10%以上1.00%以下、
Mn:0.1%以上1.0%以下、
Cr:12.0%以上15.0%以下、
Ni:0%以上1.0%以下、
Mo:0.50%以上0.80%以下、
V:0.10%以上0.20%以下、
N:0.015%以上0.100%以下、
P:0%以上0.040%以下、
S:0%以上0.030%以下、
残部:Fe及び不純物
からなる鋼組成を有し、
フェライト相の平均結晶粒径が10μm以下であり、
直径1.5μm以下の炭化物が0.8個/μm2以上存在する
ことを特徴とするフェライト系ステンレス鋼。 - フェライト粒界長さに占める1.5μm以下の炭化物の占有率が5.0%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフェライト系ステンレス鋼。
- 前記Feの一部に代えて、
質量%で、
Al:0.30%以下、
Nb:0.070%以下、
B:0.0030%以下、
Ti:0.070%以下、
Sn:0.12%以下、
Cu:0.40%以下、
W:1.000%以下、
Co:0.500%以下、
Zr:0.500%以下、
Ca:0.0050%以下、
Mg:0.0050%以下、
Y:0.1000%以下、
REM:0.10%以下、及び
Sb:0.15%以下
のうちの1種又は2種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のフェライト系ステンレス鋼。 - 請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の特徴を有する、板厚0.4~6.0mmのフェライト系ステンレス鋼板。
- 請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のフェライト系ステンレス鋼を製造する方法であって、
請求項1又は請求項3に記載の組成を有する鋼に、開始温度1150℃以上、終了温度850℃以上900℃以下で熱間圧延を施し熱延鋼板とし、
続いて、前記熱延鋼板を冷却速度0.07℃/s以上で、700℃以上800℃以下の温度まで冷却し、
冷却後、前記熱延鋼板を700℃以上800℃以下の温度で20分以上20時間以下の間加熱保持する
工程を備えることを特徴とするフェライト系ステンレス鋼板の製造方法。 - 請求項4に記載のフェライト系ステンレス鋼板を製造する方法であって、
請求項1又は請求項3に記載の組成を有する鋼に、開始温度1150℃以上、終了温度850℃以上900℃以下で熱間圧延を施し熱延鋼板とし、
続いて、前記熱延鋼板を冷却速度0.07℃/s以上で、700℃以上800℃以下の温度まで冷却し、
冷却後、前記熱延鋼板を700℃以上800℃以下の温度で20分以上20時間以下の間加熱保持し、
加熱保持した前記熱延鋼板を酸洗し、
酸洗後の前記熱延鋼板を冷間圧延して冷延鋼板とし、
前記冷延鋼板を700℃以上800℃以下で熱処理する
工程を備えることを特徴とするフェライト系ステンレス鋼板の製造方法。
